I went out to get my son a root beer. Actually, I remember very well from the back of the Jeep and so the way that wranglers are you had the tailgate back there and I went to open the tailgate to get the repair and I heard this crackling up above me of the person that it stopped also to unlock their hubs. It was above me on the road and they had failed to put their car in park, or the emergency brake on or anything and so here comes this Jeep cleaning down the hill with me right in its way. With no time to get all the way but I did have time to get my right leg up on the bumper of my left leg did not make it and so all the sudden marijuana's with horrible entries actually best way to put and it changed my life dramatically bill you knew me at the time.

All the sudden I was in a wheelchair. But if you think about it. Bill what happened to me led to me sharing the testimony of how God miraculously provided a guided put my leg back together.

There was this big took Peter's hospital in Murphy, North Carolina, where the nurse looked at the doctor what went. She said I don't think were capable, you probably ought to get a hold of this guy hears his business card.

He came in yesterday and said if we have any real traumas we could call them because there was only one room in this hospital. It was a little bit hospital and he left his car there and he was a Navy surgeon that it worked in Vietnam putting people back together and the guy said oh yeah call him and so this this surgeon came in and he was like nurse started on this that that and he just took over and he and he put my leg back together literally in the skin all the stuff that that really ended up being critical of the fact that I can walk when I got to Baptist Hospital in about 24 hours later because it took me by and went back to Baptist after the date because they're very concerned because I just finished chemo and I got my chemo at Baptist Hospital here in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and so one of the testimonies of that as I came in the Baptist Hospital that night.

About one in the morning and my wife had actually called our Sunday school teacher because back then we didn't text and stuff like that and told her what it happened and there were like 50 some odd people waiting for me at like one in the morning and when they were wheeling me in there with all these people that I remember the nurse who was attending May said, you must go to that Calvary Baptist Church what makes you say that she said were one of you guys show up, you bring an army barrel. Where was it was not prayer Army. You know my leg is just think about, but what happened as a result of that accident and you know there's probably better than almost anybody bill is I got opportunities to speak about what God did through that because and I'm certain I'm just a car salesman let me mess that I am a minimum.

You work a car dealership. I'm not a guy goes out and talk for God normally, but I got opportunity after opportunity after opportunity. As result of both the cancer and that the will the Jeep jamboree accident to testify all over the place and it literally changed my life Netflix but have a hard time hearing this, but I'm a firm believer that God knows what you can do with the gift before he gives it to add those people that take the gifts that God gives them and uses them to encourage other people to lead people to Christ, to lead people to deepen their relationship with Christ.

God knows before he gives you that present what you gonna do with and what you do with it empowers how many presents you end up with that God has no reason not to give really wonderful gifts to all his children. If we use those gifts, the way he intended us to raise so he gave me lots. There's no doubt he did an if you're encouraged by that story seat. You can encourage me back. That's you know I'm counting on it.

But you know it'll make my day. Your call. Your story, you know. Again, this is not necessarily where inmate is where Jesus took the will and you miss the accident and whatever happened, but if he took the wheel off then that's how that worked. He looked at my leg and he said there's no way I could've done this with equipment I have here at Baptist know this. This man saved her leg out like the encouragement but did pull out a piece of paper or go on your cell phone and open up a or go on your computer at list duet your life all the different things that were just miraculous your foot with that the times in your life that just really made a difference for you and for others, and it put it in chronological order and pray about it and get there every three or four years ago when I reconstruct that list and then I'll compare it to the elder list and there so many more items on that list. When I give it prayerful consideration yet. If you think about it. We all have three or four or five big problems that keep us up at night that are were worrying a sip. But if you give it some thought.

It's probably a different list than the one you had three months ago and it's totally different than the one you had six months ago so on that list to three or four or five items that you're always concerned about that list is always changing and how often do we sit there and say you know God fixed three year for these problems and I didn't even bed and I all I did was replace that concern with the new concern now and so you have to make a list to cause the artist want to point out yes yes 08 soon as it is that you have someone there to that you think about right now.

Don't cry the freeway and I'll be gone for many miles an hour and I just put a bubble around me around the car and I did not get no other car and I really go in slow motion like a lifetime and I yelled out help me and I'll and finally stopped, which seemed like an eternity. I ended up facing oncoming traffic and everyone knew what I had done to turn the car around to go traffic that is incredible and I was terrified.

I know that God came down and I mean everything to follow are many, many years, but he taken the will in my life and spell many I mean nothing. So now I'm curious. Anita when the call was doing the doughnuts where were your hands will now in control of the car at all okay got and I ate all of my and I okay got know it will be barren, and he saved me and I swear that he put a protective bubble over my car over all the other car. It was raining like crazy and all. When I my car finally came to not I get like okay thank you thank you God.

You really have to be careful when you're driving and I drove slow before, but now like I said just think about it story is that some infection.

I did that show in 2009 I started out the show with my story about when I was younger, my father traded for this Fiat spider and he brought it home and I was like 15 and I could get my drivers license in New Mexico at that age.

And here's this Fiat spider convertible and my brother jumped in it with me and we went for a ride always started going down these residential streets faster and faster because car handled so fun. It was like ma'am this does feel this. And so we started on 50 or went where we went up on the Mesa in Albuquerque where there was construction where there are no houses but it was it was regular streets, you know like you have in a subdivision suite went on 60 were going 70 and finally we take up to 80 think this is can be really cool on 15 I don't try this at home in my letter you had your dad's permission and went on my mother heard the story she heard on the air for the first time she called me after the show like you did what anyway so what happened when we went AB around this curve the inside wheels caught some sand that was in the inside of that and the car started just exactly what you just described. The car just started spinning out of control and I just because I didn't know what to do I just let go of the wheel as I was like what you do. Probably saved you know Jesus took the wheel because I'm in exactly the same.

This is a regular residential street. Not very wide in this. This car is literally spinning down and when around eight or nine times and when it stopped.

Finally I can remember the car just kind of rocked back and forth out the convertible and my little brother at this point time like 12.

I've never forgotten it. Anita, I realize that that was only the grace of God that you know that I merely took the wheel. There's no doubt he did and I remember just like you say playing it doesn't does break comes right back at you in slow motion turn the whole while I was very hot and I like okay you got help me find a car and will my life ever and always have been and gone and now he will get you out of whatever situation here and you know what we are not wheel everything to him in a great get burned down.
