The treasurers of the hundred and 19 so we are going on a treasure hunt and the gold we are seeking in this treasure hunt is actually the phrase of God like join us taking this deep dive mining with David in the hundred and 19 in that as we are digging into this one. What you know I want to just reflect for second on the letter gimbal which is afoot and the as you think about that beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. And so as we look at this. The letter gimbal has so many neat aspects to it that women talk about as we go through these verses just to start off with verse 17 is deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live and keep thy word well the beautiful thing about that it the more that we think about this is Robin Williams instruct this a few lessons back is we hope that in this class were going to learn to savor words and language and so in this particular episode. It's all about savoring some words because again you might think is a car dealer most my life that that word deal was no start now.

It is really cool, but the word Hebrew actually has nothing to do with the cardio it it has a lot to do with food because the word got them all, which is the word that is going to start this whole section it means to wean which think about why it means to wean Bonomo if you ever had considered what it means to be able to savor food in the first time you find this word in the Bible this gum all word is there when Isaac is waned, and Abraham throws a big feast ride because Isaac can now taste solid food and you know if you think about it. Obviously a child can't take communion. And so what King David is asking here because you're going to see as he gets to the end of this. Is he talking about the word, and there's the milk of the word, and there's the meat of the word, and so at this point in time when it when you think about what he's actually saying he's saying wean me get me where I can eat the good stuff for I can savor words and language. This is going to be important and then you listen to how he goes for Madison's deal bountifully with thy servant you know there he's placing himself like I'm I'm I'm your servant, Lord, and I want to live well at word live is so beautiful in Hebrew.

It's it's absolutely amazing. The word live. It has a hat and then a good and the idea that there is that I am going to reflect God in such a way that I'm going to be married to him or spent a lot of time on that letter when we get to it.

But the idea there is that he's as God's servant going to reflect his glory in such a way as to make babies. I mean that's really where that goes. And so in order to live fully in a part of that is to be fruitful and so he's asking that God be fruitful with him and give him the good stuff to eat.

So getting back to that word tomorrow. It starts with that foot it it starts like you might imagine with the gimbal and then it has a minimum, which is the sign for the Messiah. Another hundreds and water and it it's really a neat thing is like were going to be carrying the Messiah here in the last letter you can hear is lament here that L at the end like the mall and so you can hear the man in the middle and you can hear the gimbal in the beginning and you can hear the lament at the end of that lament is with your heart weld King David's all about your heart. So think about this has to do with food right like we talked about the gimbal itself is the rich man running to give the poor man what's been stolen from them.

So here we have the rich man which is God which is bringing the Messiah to our hearts right now is he going to do that with the word but in the case of a baby right.

He is gonna bring life and and in the way you bring life is by beginning to eat solid food, and so it's just like man I could spend time. The deal bountifully with my sermon that I might live, and then list now he finishes it and keep thy word in upwards.

He's taking you back to of what it is that he is wanting to eat which is God's word and is he eats God's word and savors it like we talk about here, then he is going to be fruitful and he can then have those same feet of the rich man to go give that food. So, what an exciting journey work that I had as we start out here in verse 17 in the gimbal section. I'm so glad you're mining with this. I hope you can to savor this one today. Lord we start feeding me the solid that I might live.

I can keep you
