I wasn't here yesterday you were here yesterday. No, you and I were both out do it all the days were more host and produce what John Randall also okay yeah I was gone yesterday. Yesterday my birthday birthday.

Thanks.

No I know is right, that's fine. Now embarrassed that I've known what was I mean that you care and I apparently not enough to know your birthday yesterday, but you know what here's here's what I don't know. I don't know how old you are, don't tell me you have an old music soul okay but you're obviously not that old. I will say that we are to think of them is very eclectic absolutely.

I will say that you are 32 really, that's my guess. Okay, 36, two will get you good for you. You look good you look good for 36 thank you… Just 36 to write this fine okay for good for you but let's listen to the wolf's wall of sound is a function of this birthday game every day notion that he howled. Someone is know there are birthdays every day true.

So was birthday that I see that it was Brooks's birthday is live wished her happy birthday on twitter fatty birthday Brooks As a birthday present. Here's hundred million dollars, whatever they paid and do the job, which is what I get to the wall sound and we will start with the NBA draft tonight J Williams ESPN why is fellow Duke blue devil not alum product Paul O'Bannon, Carol the favor to be number one.

If you understand the situation in Orlando right Jeff Whitman is the general met you magic president basketball operations and for him. The reason why polish by the odds on favorite is because they posted workout video of Chet Holmgren and Jabari Smith when he came in, but there were a little bit more secretive about polymer and Carol almost in a way they refused to tell the media if they worked him out or not right. So we start thinking about that narrative floating around the Orlando Magic and I will say Jabari has a talent and will get into MBA comps like a mess of a number of players. To me the totality so there jumps off the pages like overshot Lewis type ceiling for him when it's all said and done polymer and Carol can create his own shot. There's nothing that Apollo bank Carol can do it. We talked about this before. We talked about it with Brian Geisinger to me. The only? I have about bank Carol is easy. Does he have elites enough quickness to become the problem for the other team like if you put a bigger man on them. He blows by if you put a smaller man on them. He shoots over right to go. He just powers through and I just recall too much of leaky black being able to garden and then Brady manic being able to garden so I mean that's just my feeling.

My only trepidation in terms of the skilled in the brain things the best prospect.

I just don't notice. Will the quickness get there if it does, and he's the best player is just the best player. If the quickness get back to get back to the NBA draft, Jordan Cornett, Jordan Cornett on, although he likes Chet Holmgren the center.

I guess from exact the realizes that there is no clear-cut number one makes it so exciting. There's a Dutch set number one and I will get honestly drunk. It's interesting, or there is a drop off spot and think five guys you can change a franchise. So I think there's a lot of ways that are worn in different ways but there hybridized their personal pieces gifted unique set of skills that can be puzzle pieces invaluable to different franchises in those first five but needed Chet Holmgren to the top of that list, but I think the biggest?

With him is durability. See body types like that is not a ton of muscle. His back is kinda concave below, but you don't necessarily love the posture cannot hold the toughness of the question because of his body, but things about the draft is a misnomer. To me, Amber, Courtney, as people always focus on people can't do what we do in the draft right yeah we do in the draft. Please, not this you can't do that.

They were always trying to find perfect right so what did I just say about bank Carol. My fear is this we know all of this.

My fear is this with Jabari Smith.

My fear would be the rest of his game is great shooter quick twitch actually probably the best athlete of the three, but doesn't necessarily have the ball skills in the overall game.

That doesn't mean he will be the first pick these I think is the favorite to be the first pick.

Last I looked.

Jabari Smith was the favor to be the first and all the mock draft that I've seen have Jabari Smith going one so that's what we do. We always try to find is the betting will Jabari's methods yet we always try to find what somebody can't do my man could speed through it with a capital financial advisory group were talking retirement coach. I'm a simple guy but I like colors. Tell me how I can colorcode money and get ready for retirement. I like colors to lecturers. I like grass. I don't like just buzzwords what we try to do is we try to break down all those words on your statement. All those numbers into three colors red, green, yellow people amazingly come in and most of the money is in the red cat again. I want that I read means high horsepower potential is high loss potential. It's a give-and-take you can want to do that or that yellow means liquid money and get anytime stuck on anything green. If you safe growth but also gives lifetime income as we get closer to retirement. We need some green accounts with greens only call it that result was important appraisal support for you to next and people out of the thousand dollar value going to put together for you your very own total planned as a green zone it's a traffic light.

I hope it's green for you 800-661-7383 or text Adam to 21000B through I.

What the NFL can't do. According to Harry Douglas of ESPN is figure out a way to hold Dan Snyder, the owner of the Washington commandos accountable and one of the big problems is that Snyder doesn't really care. According to Harry Doug, a guy who was invited to come till his side of things, but instead he's only super yacht in France. It shows you how much you care about when women what he really thinks about women because if if I have opportunity to clear my name and go tell my side of the story. I'm not obese aware of what everybody else can make that assumption for me.

I will be right there to tell my side of the story so just let you know was not that important tool when you look at ownership and is not every own it in a fill. What do majority owners condone this behavior in the workplace or does Daniel Snyder know XYZ about a few other owners so they don't want to say a damn word so their stuff though, because how can you just sit there specially want to have daughters and have families in you know what's right and what's wrong you don't do anything about it.

Like you said there just let a single human being duty side of things.

First of all, Harry Douglas yes other owners condone this because like this is not just about the NFL means of major corporations every single FLT was a major corporation right and corporations have a problem in the workplace by a large would limit because at the highest levels. Many of these corporations are dominated by men and not say that every guy who works for these companies is you know is guilty of this, but it's not uncommon. The reason why other owners haven't called out Dan Snyder and having pushed for the NFL to get rid of Dan Snyder, even if they don't like it and I think by and large, he is unlike is that they understand that there are skeletons in their closets. I said this earlier if Daniel Snyder were as honorable as Jerry Richardson. I understand how crazy that sounds, and I and in no way saying that Richardson is honorable. Okay, I am just drawing the comparison between Jerry Richardson who had genes Friday and Daniel Snyder.

If Snyder were as honorable as Richardson he would recognize that the best thing that Daniel Snyder could do, not only for the Washington commandos which has not been successful with him as an owner, even though his whole life has been centered around doing like owning this football team, the but he would also be doing the NFL benefit because the NFL will be better with somebody else owning the commandos as a better franchise right now, a heritage franchise is a drag on the league. Washington is one of these spots.

Unfortunately, Dave's stock for the most part under Dan Snyder, ownership matters, ownership really does not denigrate a franchise in the NFL. The New England Patriots, but you know who wins a lot because they have great ownership.

The New England Patriots are so mean they matter to the league but honestly think that credit franchise. They have just become one because they have been run properly even though it obviously Robert Kraft is at his own issues, but it doesn't seem like those issues manifest itself in the yard in the organization right Daniel Snyder's have right we got into.

We got a job at here when we come back John fours learned. Should there have been a too many men call doesn't really matter will talk about Stanley Cup finals game for and what could be the ender tomorrow.

Next June 19, 2006, but it all started May 6, 1997 with the announcement that the Hartford Whalers were coming to North Carolina transition of heartbreak. Figuring it out on the fly became the fifth anniversary of the presented by the Carolina listen my weird Springsteen must be time to talk to John voice of the Seattle cracking and we did a big fan of Bruce Springsteen. I was the most awkward open ever. John, how are you that rocker to do.

Are you at. What's your favorite Springsteen song don't go around okay so is your favorite album, also born to run yesterday, judging mine is wild, innocent and E St., Shuffle and I had so that I go way back, but still generally way back machine is great yeah I lets get to last night's start by but I'm going to whip with the game-winning goal is I think Colorado was simply the better team last night and we got I think we got the just winter, but what's your view of too many men as I think it impacted the plague as I think Condrey was the player was coming on for McKinnon it was coming off slowly.

Yeah, well, you're right. And it did impact the game but I think you know this is a slippery slope that you know you would go down if the league decides to enforce this writer. You know that the player you see all the time. There is a long change in overtime as we have in the second. It's a lazy change by McKinnon is taking his time to get to the bench. You see that a lot in on the rulebook get the 5 foot rule that that area that safe before you get to the bench rarely enforce mean if they enforce that you would have that happen over and over and over again and it would bog down the game so I think the referees basically had to put their whittled away long before that. I don't think that type of play would have been called should have but should be reviewed. Moving forward I don't think so. It can't be reviewed now under the rules as we know. And then there's clips to show that after headsets and skaters on the ice. They score the first goal so I mean it's it's that's the fluid minutes of the game and you know that's where you get into a tough thing about hockey because it's a really tough game to officiate, because by the book maybe all sports are like this to a degree, but I think because of the randomness of hockey. You probably see it more than you do. In other sports officials have to have a feel for what's happening on the ice so that the players could determine the outcome, which they did, but again McKinnon made no you know you just lazily going off.

Nike was involved in the play.

It's just unfortunate that what because of the long change search I was out there for almost 90+2nd.

Yeah, right.

And it gets turned on. The goal is a beautiful movement not everybody missed it. But when it's funny. I mentioned this when I first started talking about this earlier in the show I mentioned the fact that we need to start with the fact that Condrey playing his first game and bought four weeks almost that that was an incredibly athletic, highly skilled move to bring it back to his forehand to get off the shot and he had to go through to players circuit ship was clearly gassed.

If he plays the body. It's probably not a goal but he played the part because we all get like I guess, get mesmerized, but it really was a super athletic plate. Now get back to what I alluded to in the beginning and something you said we spoke about a week ago was that you you finally went back to the fact that Colorado is just better tonight to pick the the avalanche.

I leaned on Vasil Lenski over Darcy Kemper Kemper played very well last night. I think you let in the softest of all the goals that were scored but he still played very well in spite of that, but Colorado just looks like the better team and now they've got Condrey back and I mean it's hard to it's almost hard to imagine his game get back to game six you know that greater point, probably long gone and so Ellie was injured in the game last night, ensuring adequate injured in the game last night for Basil the longer it all that stuff continues.

And even if they do play. You know what level do they come back at God is a great story. I mean he could take face-off, but he certainly could make a move and she is talking was a great shock and you know that that just shows that these players have an unbelievable amount of determination when it comes to getting back in the lineup under playoff circumstances and in the thing about Kemper and I think we talked about this the last time he just has to be close to back select EE can't be the reason they lose are the reason they're finding games or the reason they lose confidence in the locker room. He just has to be where he was last night, which is very close to that selected level that many could reach that level. But you know he survived that first. After getting scored on early and losing it basket. I believe they had 17 shots yes in the first. And so he EE he got through a probably mental battle as much of anything else but now it's up a freight train now. I say there's absolutely no chance To win game five. But that's why they play in temp is good.

It's it's clear to brain point. He came back tried to go. You really didn't give a much would probably knocking to see Braden point but two troughs also banged up. He got banged up that I had to game three games three was chippy and borderline dirty and dirty enough. I think we saw that yesterday, but I think we saw a lot of chippy borderline stuff in game three we can call it playoff hockey went a little bit beyond their. Across the line. Many areas especially near the end of the game, and a series I didn't have a lot of angst attached to it. I think there's been way too much attention and rightfully so.

From from Tampa Bay's perspective where they have to figure out their structure and how they want to play against that juggernaut again said high-octane offense of the attack and the speed of the avalanche from the back and the forwards. Everybody can move and I think it took them a couple of games in the really get humiliated in the second game to figure out come home get a matchup that they want and then play a game where you basically put the puck out of the zoning get defensive position trying slowing down so because of that, I don't think we got a lot of pushing and shoving back and forth. That makes it for me.

I enjoy that II think it makes a series you know a lot of fun as it moves forward.

Not more storylines, but this one here is it's interesting, it's it starts the great guns for Colorado to get back to Tampa. They start to write a little bit of the story but it's not enough and it usually means the better team is about to win. Yeah, that's me.

Looks to me and again I can recognize that the 18 skaters that Colorado puts out there just better.

It says as good a skating blue line as I can recall in the NHL mean because it is greatest. Gail Makar is an and I'm not taking anything away devotee display next to them a lot is an elite skater. You have Samuel Gerard was also a great skater will be a little bit more diminutive.

They have just created a great mix and they can all really skate on the blue line. They can skate enough to kinda hide the fact that Jack Johnson still back there yet there is no question about that and and most of the season. Curtis McDermott is not there. Like most of the season he was playing defense and and he's really swing guy, tough guys, not a very good defenseman that affect the crack in rapid expansion draft the next day traded on the Colorado Albany's role-play ethnicity could place them forward to back so he basically played with five defensemen all year and and clear for the most mobile offense you find one guy that's completely off the charts in the car so a lot of teams chase that blotted teams will are defined that number personnel that can play the game like that from that position but that's today's game.

That's what everybody looks for those guys you can defend but can also push the game possessed the park and that's what today's game is all about. At one point Johnson was learned.

Colorado was six for 12 on the power play in this series, I mean as great as Vasil Lenski is as great as Tampa is especially on the backend. Although had been was in the box for one of those penalties with McDonough and circuit chance and churn back in there. The way that they can skate and defend. I mean it's it's really hard to fathom that anybody could be six for 12, it is hot or is this when you get to this point there is just an extra intensity that cranks up and you probably should be about that if you got the skill level of Colorado were here you're right. If you have that skill level you. That's where you should be here. If you're clicking on your understanding. Everywhere everybody is supposed to be and make these past that it passes the wind across the ice to make the crossing back and forth before Tampa Bay even realizes where the clock is and it's only because of the quick cans of McKinnon yes you know he EE can be like GOING on that week. Cider stamp goals and have that mighty one time or those two players don't have the quick cans that McKinnon has and make the stopping and starting in the maneuverability as an escape capsule incredible and on the other flank you have granted it was as good a pastor in Gujarat, if not better on the residence. One of the best pastors in the National Hockey League doesn't get enough credit for that. At the top of that you have Makar's who can distribute and defer both ways with with lightning and stew and walk the line better than anybody can find the shooting angle shooting lane to get through in any Atlantis God in front of the goal who is is great at. It is also great goal line guy so yeah date they have even elite personnel and and so because of that right now with all that confidence is impossible to stop is the keynote for Colorado as great as their top line guys are not counties that we only see one game a codger, but he'd be part of this anyway. Contrary to skin licking in who is been great since coming over from Montréal is that sort of the difference between these two teams in terms of the skaters to me was that Colorado was getting great performances out of second, third line guys and for Tampa. It had basically been just the top guys carrying yet. And the thing about the avalanche over the last three years is Dave arguably had the best line in the game with McKinnon Landis Goggin rent right and what they been able to do is say while we've got a great thing going here, much like Boston and other teams that have a leak top line to the point where they will get put a name on it right that type of Linux together for a long time. It's hard to break them up like Colorado and the management figured out is you have to break them up. You have to figure out a way.

Now, some of it has to do with with injury, but by and large they were able to stockpile at the deadline get a swing guy like like an unbelievable player. We talked about them. The last time I was with you is just amazing. He can play with anybody all four lines and performable no matter whatever will you give him the forms. It is very very high level clutch player is indicative by his two overtime winners and ask the cadre last night so you know you look at all these different things. Balance now they can move the three big guys around and there stronger because of it. And during the regular season cadre had a MBP to type season yet so I need about to get paid by somebody solving this is the one of the great one of the great teams and note: time he saw the game the players off the win. And I understand all that but I'm really convinced they will. And then we'll see how far they can take it because there kinda points work at some point you're going to have to pay Nathan again and that's the best bargain along with Jacob Slaven anybody is in the game right now but that's way it is. McKinnon agreed to his long deal before he became this version of Nathan McKinnon.

He was always just kind of a vision of what could be and now he is and he is just incredible player watch but they've got a lot of them John Foresman. I appreciate your time.

I don't feel like were going to have any more games after Friday, but will have to figure out a way to talk anyway. I will figure it out right absolutely, thank you very much enjoy enjoy patient yes I will have a great weekend.

You hear John Foresman on twitter jumpers and if you want to just set them up and tell them don't hockey things. This is the atom gold shell June 19, 2006, but it all started May 6, 1997 with the announcement that the Hartford Whalers were coming to North Carolina transition of heartbreak.
