We spent the new list is welcome to the arche program. I'm not thanking you for joining us today because we know Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Our message today is an eye-opening teaching that I believe is sorely needed in Christianity today. It is predestination versus fatalism. Much of what is being heralded as destiny by many preachers and teachers is really fatalism that God has chosen certain people when chosen destinies for them that will happen regardless of what they do or don't do.

If you've been confused by the terms predestination election or just the latest buzzword destiny. You will be helped by this message. Predestination versus fatalism. Hallelujah, there's nothing that will give you a greater burden of instantaneous joy that you do say yes Lord you know you can't feel any better than you feel when you say yes Lord. Amen amen yes to God's will is purpose is way I will glad and thinking all my cares all my burdens surely give them all my pain, the joy of the Lord. I don't know about you, I think that's a pretty good deal know I'm not going to carry around unnecessary low and burdens when the Lord cast all like Carol because he cares for me. Hallelujah amen. How many love the word of the Lord.

I want to preach this morning I message that is a little different than maybe anything I preached in the past, but I think it's something that will open your eyes up and I hope that it will be a blessing.

Now you know there's a major buzzword. At least I've been aware of it. I think some of you will probably agree with me that today in Christian teaching.

A lot of times when you tended to needle watch Christian television and you hear people you know talking to preaching teaching even testifying there on big emphasis that's put on the work destiny. I mean, it's become word the buzzword. Amen. And everything is about destiny destiny and you leave the work.

Destiny is not in the Bible, however, predestination is in the Bible so predestination me. It simply means to determine or decree, or gain something before hand.

Amen.

And what I want you to see as we go in the Scriptures today and we see what the Bible has to say about predestination is not on the date is on the what the Bible teaches about predestination. It's not emphasizing so much who God has predestinated. Andrew will receive his salvation, but is more on the what what are they predestined to make it really simple for you. What is your destination. How simple it is your nation as a child of God as a Christian. What is your ultimate destination and will come back to that. Amen I think you know the answer really really easy going 11 were it all boils down and you see the word of God is not so much on vital now. Let's begin by going to Romans the eighth chapter and you know the Scriptures very well, but will look at them and then will be able to see as we go along. What we mean by what God has predestined us to ultimately okay Romans eight and verse 29. Let's look at verse 28 that's a really good one. No sense wasting it. We miss read Romans 828 and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose for whom he did or no, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be.

That is his son might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover, in addition to that, whom he did predestinate. Then he also called and whom he called he also justified and whom he justified. Then he also glorified down there. You have really the whole doctrine of predestination, we find out that it all began with God's foreknowledge and there is a difference between foreknowledge and predestination because foreknowledge pre-see predestination. Amen.

God has perfect foreknowledge. There are many verses that tell us that don't turn their but if you take notes you can write it down access, 15, 18 known unto God are all his works from the beginning that just says it all. God knows everything that he's about to do will ever do. He knew it from the beginning. Amen. Now let's look at this for a moment when a minute scale. Let's look at us. We have even we human beings we have foreknowledge of certain things people let's try to see how this might work in our lives, we can predict about people that we know really well, our spouse and children are parents very close friends.

We can predict certain things.

We know they wouldn't do or would never do based on our knowledge of them. Amen.

Okay you got with themepark and they have a water slide there and it's 11 has a 90° drop straight down now you may know someone in your family that you could coax you $50 you don't you're going all day like it wouldn't matter what it wouldn't matter how much you promise you know you know they're not great because they're afraid of heights that they're afraid of water and you amen you have more knowledge that person is not getting on that right. Amen. This happens all the time. Maybe where you work. Maybe there's a big change that needs to be done and a lot of the employees get together and they said were going to do this and maybe maybe something that it involves it's not really on the up and up. Maybe it's just a little bit. On the other side of the session work. You gotta tell a few little white lie.

You know you gotta promise people something. You know good well you're not going to do, but you promise them so they'll sign the contract and so you know that in order for you to do that every body in the office is gotta be a mobile worker every body on the board is to be in agreement, but there is one person that is a stickler for the truth. They are honest as all Abraham Lincoln himself. They're not going to lie they're not going to cheat on you know you know what, no matter what you do and somebody can say you know really well now you think you can persuade. You could tell them this or that or the other and you can persuade along with. I don't care what you say what you can fire him and he won't do it. I know it's against his core values against his core beliefs and is not going to go along with it because you know that person's foreknowledge on a very limited basis. Amen. God has perfect foreknowledge. Amen.

He absolutely has perfect knowledge and he knew from the foundation of the world. What plan is and who would be a part of it. Let's turn to first Peter 118 first Peter 118 for as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ the lamb without blemish and without spot to pay attention to verse 22 barreling legal absolutely was ordained before the foundation of the Worrell but was not best in these last times you so paid or tells us that when create world and God created me before there was a 10 year foundation on the wire. He was lying on the line is. My foreknowledge he saw Jesus already on the cross that line number to get do it by God to that's why you and me already glorify the father. We just read a right of way members okay so in his mind. Jesus was already slain from the foundation of the world. Hold your big word for spirit. I would read another verse you want to follow.

This would take notes, it's up to you. John John 17 John 17 we have Jesus in just 70 craving the true Lord's prayer. Amen. The other one was for the disciples, but this was his prayer in his moment of acting and you can read the whole chapter late, but I want you to look at verse 24 father.

I will also, whom thou hast given me. Being with me where I that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me, for now love me before the foundation of the world, confirming what Peter said before the foundation of the world already given his only son to be lamb on the tree to be and not only that you gave me the game he needs from the foundation of the world and the well, Peter, James and John, Matthew and all the other disciples from the foundation of the world given him. Those who followed him that were with him. Mary mandoline and the other Mary.amen.

And not only that you look at verse 20. It says neither pray I for these alone, but for them. Also which shall believe will be through their wire was every hand should go up here arguably did you believe the gospel because you did Jesus not say, here's here's the ones I'm going to give you.

I would give you Sherry and Hardy not I will give you William somebody thinking Murph. That's what the foundation of the world.

I'm going to give these to you in game entity.

I will use the amen said God gave Jesus from the foundation of the world any day Peter, James and John, why did he give them because he knew that they would choose Jesus. He knew that ;-) follow me knew that they would throw down their net immediately. That's why Jesus went.

That's why didn't some other guy somewhere else some other ones here.

There into the ones that he knew would follow him and they are getting the picture we went we were back there and Peter.

Let's look at verse two first Peter 12 in verse one talks about writing his letter to those in these different places. But here's what he calls them in verse two he lacked. According to the foreknowledge of God the father sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus, grace of you and peace be multiplied. Now here's the word elect the word elect is synonymous with the word chosen electric chosen chosen elect their disdain were don't think some special group of people somewhere other than what you already know. So where it says that we are in the elect according to the foreknowledge of God, don't you see that foreknowledge proceed election board proceeds per destination. God chooses whom he already knew what I do. What we yet. You understand that all right. You understand that you're well on your way.

Understanding the whole message all right said in second Thessalonians 213 I love this verse.

But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord anybody here because God had from the beginning chosen you to salvation through the action of this and belief of the truth from the very beginning God's chosen us that slip over just a few pages to second Timothy 19 who had saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began before the world began dating me game you is holy calling one more of amen before the world began old but I was but I was in the mind of God. God is perfect foreknowledge the way down to November 20, 1951, 51, I landed in my ears wanted my time is 1151.

I don't know what it means but I like it is interesting to me means something.

Maybe I'll find out want to go to heaven. But what I'm saying is that moment that I would come into the world and he knew that when the time was right and I was able to understand and know that I will just go to church because my mother and maybe go painting you like, but he knew that one day he would not weep into the Alterman he knew me from the foundation of the world.

I was elected I was from the foundation of the world in Jesus Christ.

Now here's what I want you to understand God's simply because he knew that when we were given the all the opportunity we would choose Jesus. Amen Jesus is the chosen one. Now let's turn to Isaiah 42, one will see Jesus is God's chosen one. This is one of the Macy attic prophecies in the book of Isaiah. I'm going to read the first verse, but really it goes on to tell you what his ministry will be like beautiful it really is you continuing down to find out that talks about his healing ministry in his delivery ministry etc. but I'm interested verse one behold my servant, whom I uphold my elect were there mind elect. Initial nice old alike. I have put my spirit upon him, and he shall bring forth judgment or justice to the Gentiles the progress the Lord Jesus you read on and you all the Macy attic signed the business. But what I wanted you to see is that God's servant God's chosen one. The one God delights in his God elect now turn to Matthew the 12th chapter. Matthew 12 in verse 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, here we go, behold, whom I shall chosen are the same thing whom I had chosen not the same thing.

The one in whom my soul delights. Amen. Behold my whom I have chosen my beloved, in whom my soul is well.

Please. I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall show judgment to the Gentiles goes on and tells you about the Macy attic ministry right so what I wanted you to see from the foundation of the world. God shows Jesus Christ his only begotten son we know according to John I chapter was the word of God. Show him the commentary on human flesh to be started, in whom he would delight and show me what choose because he elected him to be the chosen one to bring light ring true not only to the Jewish people but also to the Gentiles. So what I want you to see is because God knew that we would choose his chosen one. He chose not a child not from the foundation of the well because he knew we can talk some predestination.I like the new locale to you not care for you so know you're out now leave me now you and I don't care how rebellious you are and what a hard time you give me said in your comment, but that's what some people think amen.

What you have to understand is why we choose Jesus to God never violates our free will does not arbitrarily, he does not indiscriminately choose us because if he did he would be taking away our right of free will and this he will never do. And I said this many times and I'll say it again, he will never do that would be better. You did if he just thrust his will you because he knew that what you're choosing is not going to be a good outcome or side of any not choose to eat that tree. It was their choice. But once they show they had to deal with the consequence. Another thing about free choice. You get to choose whom you will serve. But once you make the choice you do not get to choose the consequences. The consequences are what they are, whether you receive Jesus and choosing to receive eternal life or whether you reject him and receive eternal damnation that you don't get to choose. Amen the consequences are what they are and God brought never to see anybody you know what will be even go so far as I want you to know you do choose my son, if you do choose Jesus. I promise you eternal life. I promise you that your ultimate death, the nation's is to be glorified with my son but I'm not going to lead you astray.

I want to know if you choose, my Lord, if you choose my Jesus, I want you to know you better call him the way and many are going to try and not be able but if you choose Jesus if your heart to say yes Lord promise you that you all. Amen.

God gives us rejoice and he foreknew that we would choose Jesus and so he predestinated our destination and our destination is what we choose. Jesus we are now on a new path and the final destination to be glorified Christ as we saw here God's foreknowledge that, right in Ephesians that not only is Jesus seated at his right hand on the back of his right hand. We are seated with were seated with Jesus. Amen God sees us in our final position. Jesus said that if you will supper with me you're going to ring with me if you like. I came down with me sitting down with my father and his throne. Now if it was on why would Jesus like charges. Those letters and every single one of the same condition. If you will was already done a bad Jesus when he left he said I go to prepare a place for you and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you unto myself that where there may be also.

He's been working on that place for 2000 years in preparing a place for those who choose you. And Peter said we we inherited it on file away entries are. My name is already back door. My name is already up there on that title is was already there so I'm going to go, amen. I hope you're being spiritually informed by this revelatory message.

Predestination versus fatalism. Perhaps you notice that a favorite buzzword Christian teaching and preaching today is destiny.

While this term is not actually in the Bible, the closest word to it is predestinate. Which means to determine decree or ordain before hand, but the emphasis is not on who, what, not whom God has predetermined to be saved. But what are they predestined to what is there destination. Once they choose to follow Christ. Where will the road lead them. The Scripture says that no none to God are all his works from the beginning. And Paul said in Romans 829 that God foreknew who would answer the call to receive his son and who would not in God will never violate man's free will and he does not arbitrarily choose to refuse anyone. He did not force Adam and Eve not to eat of the forbidden tree. It was their choice. But once they made that choice. They had to deal with the consequences. We also get to choose who we will serve. But we don't get to choose the consequences. Those whom God foreknew would choose Jesus. He predestinate. Our destination once we choose Christ.

God chooses us and puts us on the path to our final destination which is to be glorified with Christ in his eternal kingdom. God is no respecter of persons, and he is not willing that any should perish. So even knowing that he will not choose Christ. He invites all to receive him, so that on judgment day.

They are without excuse.

The false claim that everyone's destiny is predetermined by God and nothing you can do will change it. Even if you fail is fatalism and it is motivated by a desire to eliminate any negative feelings over mistakes as though they are also meant to be a part of one's preset destiny. They quote St. King Solomon. He said there are many devices in a man's heart, nevertheless the counsel of the Lord shall stand. I will show you why this very verse disproves predestination and Solomon's life is exhibit a don't miss this landmark teaching.
