The radical Left is floating three new plans around Washington, D.C. that will raise our country's gas prices even more. One purported gas stimulus plan would force oil companies to pay a tax to offset for the gas stimulus to Americans. What happens when you tax an oil company that much? They raise their prices even more to offset the tax they're paying. The result: higher gas prices. That's not the only plan and they're all just as bad. Jay, Jordan, and the rest of the Sekulow team discuss. ACLJ Senior Counsel for Global Affairs Mike Pompeo and Senator Marsha Blackburn also join the broadcast. This and more today on Sekulow.

Washington DC will actually raise your prices.

Your folks over to your calls to €162 over the broadcast is true. There are actually three different Democrat plans floating around the idea is there to try to give you more body to pay for the higher gas prices. What happens with the government starts heading out Monday to people and what happens to prices, we see that over the last couple of years because of all the stimulus checks without because the pandemic is what happened to all the prices of every good they go up so one of the plants is the gas rebate after 2022. It sounds wonderful. So for Americans earning it's like under hundred $60,000 for a for a joint joint filing family hundred dollar check huddle check her purse or your family have included the dependence of family for $400 a month you think of the gas prices are to go down. If these companies know you're getting an extra $400 a month to pay for gas. That's not the only player though there's another plan that will that makes big oil pay a one-time 50% windfall profit tax pay 50% would fall public Texan any profit that exceeds 100 to pursue their average profit admitted that again. You will get a monthly tax credit. What will happen if you put a 50% windfall tax on an auto oil company. They will raise the price to offset the tax they pay. They also know you could get a credit for it. So the past. You're always going to pass the cost that we know this. They will always pass the cost of any kind of punishment on them, to the consumer and with eight other consumers getting a boost from it. It makes it that much easier for them to pass the cost on and think about this from a little bit of a short historical segment and that is a year and 1/2 ago, the United States was a net exporter of energy we were energy self-sufficient and we were selling energy in 18 months later were not, and the original 17 months later were not.

And here's the thing that I think the I guess the irony for all of us in this process is another round of stimulus checks which, by the way from you and may conflict doesn't come in to finance like the governments debates good government is expanding our taxpayer dollars to go to this program, you know what happens with that program. Let me explain to you if you put a tax on the oil and gas companies. Guess what they do raise prices just as you said so then the money you're getting will be enough maybe to pay for the increase in the gas cost added another plant. The street is all covered the Democrat.

This would would give you a quarterly payment so four times a year ended they would do a again they put a tax another tax on profitable oil companies get every time you do this.

Was it might sound nice is typical Democrat politics head out Monday. Would you hand out Monday in the, the, the sellers of a Pacific good know that you're getting these resources whether it's hundred dollars per head including your dependents up for $500 for family for five or you get a tax credit or you're getting a monthly pay quarterly payment date but they're getting taxed there to pass it off to you.

It's outrageous the idea that we won't double down on investing in America what folks all this will do is, the prices will go up and you'll be paying us of the hundred dollars. Actually you're getting really just can offset the increase in the price that the oil companies are doing because her getting extra taxes is a pretty common sense will take your calls of this what he hundred 6430 were to be using a cut through the headlight here because if you just tell people pay the covers have you 500 bucks more about the pay for gas. People say it's a pretty great right now you have to understand the bigger context of what happens with the start adding these windfall taxes on the oil company 164 three with Dr. Marshall Blackford will be joining us as well.

Maybe next day we can be the third thing the bracket she's requesting right after the witnesses or the Supreme Court nominee would talk to Sonny or 1-800-684-3110. That's what he hundred 64, 31 to support the work of ACLJ and ACLJ.org the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help in any way. $20, $50 gift becomes 100 constitutional and religious freedoms.

Most only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed cases secure means to serve in many ways your membership powering the right question for you/your close to 164 30, which is what we just read again sooner blacker we just talk to her to.

She's actually still go back and forth with. So the witnesses should be the third segment of the broadcast of coming up next at you begin a live update from her. She's been questioning, the Supreme Court nominee, especially of the life issue for the past three days to doubt that there there witnesses as well, so be great to have her on to get her head of update for all of you get three plants by Democrats. What is the gas rebate act 2022 would send Americans $100 check any month this year with the national average gas price exceeds four dollars a gallon, which does right now I dependents will get another hundred dollars so family for you get up to $400.

There are limits.

If you're making over hundred $50,000 a year hundred $60,000 a year as a joint filer you're not eligible for this. If you're an individual. It's under $75,000 but is not the only plant so there's that plant I get. There's another plan that would be a quarterly payment to Americans but that is also funded by a tax on profits from the oil companies are all funded by taxes on oil companies as well easier to raise the rate you write you get a check but you're going to be paying more right in the third.

What is there going to do a 50% windfall profit tax on the oil company and then give you a tax credit so like socialism. By the way what it is it again. It's also we are you are going to have those costs passed off to the consumer. So all these include taxes and tax increases on businesses. They know you're getting a little extra money in your pocket so that you could then cover their extra cost to them to build Florida online to hit Bill up the secular you're on the bill called on my Quicken in the Senate to let any of these bills get a mean drunk at a mansion in the guide. Next, the estate that I get there there putting multiple plants always watch carefully when you have multiple options of what the tax credit was a quarterly payment what's up based off of where is the gas price that might saw you. I don't think you can count, which I think what we comes to government spending, like he's out of anti-garbage Medica mentally keeps it in the Democrat party. Exactly. So I think you look at a situation like this in his drawer and I think wisely said when you got multiple options that they have something may catch fire.

Basically, something may catch on and obviously they're pushing this now, the other nor say all that was the Republicans and bucked us getting gas I leapt to the American people and then if that politically does not play for the Republicans. All of a sudden you could see Republicans saying we had to suffer, exactly, and it might not be that they that they support such a high tax that they would support some Pentax credit but all of this again. I think that what you have to understand is this what this is all going to to the term election it will all raise the price you will be paying more at the pump with these kind of moves because when they provide stimulus prices go up when government spends more in the give you more to spin prices go up because the predicted companies know you have more to spend. They raise the price a little bit here little bit there and I had to the gas pressure just keep going up. We had interesting comment on rumbled. By the way, if you're not on rumble. You should be should be headed over there appear on some of other social media platforms. She knows can happen on rumble nothing as far censorship as so we encourage you to go there since were in a constant battle with some these other social media platforms who every time we had a challenge with them were ending up correct. Even though they send out nasty letters to our folks and then you barely get the apology sent out to anybody, but we've got an interesting comment coming from rumble it says here in California. The governor says he'll get a gas rebate of $400 per vehicle. Why because he's coming up for reelection, is to believe the listener says is cheaper than lowering our gas tax, which is lies in the country, yet meets this I get I think that it's exactly right is all politics here. This is all the Kratz know they're covered up at for potential shellacking in this indexed in the midterm elections, which will remember that it will effectively hamstrings anything is abide wants to do.

If Republicans take back either the house of the Senate.

It looks like they may take back both the House and the Senate. So if that occurs, they know that their agendas are done so, what they are doing is anything possible now to track. I think you're right that the put, they want to do. Here's throw this all out there and then blame Republicans if it came to the filibuster, the Senate, where they were able to come to they were able to get through the 60 vote threshold to incubate and actually have a vote on this piece of legislation though sake seems Republicans who are the reason why were here ready to help you spend more money on fossil fuels which they hate fossil fuels. It will get rid of fossil fuels over the previous stimulus check to pay for more fossil fuel sequence drive more and spread more easily. But those those me Republicans.

They don't want to give it to you but his stance if you don't. If you think moves like this. Gas prices will go up for everyone because you are put that extra body of the economy and they did that very coveted everything cost more now because people did not. If you lost your job Your job you or make you had more cash to spend.

And we are getting a lot of calls coming in on this at 800-684-3110 from literally all over the country.

Let's go to line 5 a Tamra's calling hi Tim Everett kind of island that is a liberal Democrat. Another way to try to make people dependent on the government yet. I think it's absolutely true, and in their sick during the succeeding in the RCC. This is our good friend of ours that Congresswoman at least a phonics.

He talked about this idea of the spending being so much of what the issues with inflation. Take a listen bite six pillars in my district across America are feeling the pain of inflation there feeling the pain of the price of energy which is higher than it's ever been before because the failed policies of Delphi henhouse Democrat when he suggests that immediately means reining in the referenced killings of dollars of spending that we've seen under Nancy Pelosi's leadership as speaker of the house.

We are committed to doing family this we all know that this is the issue is that it would view the government spends more, and it would start giving check sent to you. It just increases the cost of passes on the cost Jared Connor from New York online. One major light, would be instead of giving a credit to people. Her spending money. I guess when I just remove federal taxes on gas sales. They can't do that because that would affect that the government for November's bottom line exactly to that would actually do is to get increase the tax on the that the oil the or the oil and gas companies so they'll actually paying more. So like right now.

Today's average gas price is. This is the national average. And if you're calling from your chair deprive pay more than this depend where you are the state people in California deafly pay Mark average get God gallon of gasoline now $4.02 or $0.23 a month ago was 351 year ago was 280 something we've gone from 282 four 423 and this is just regular gas.

What you have to understand is that it would remove review what they could do in California. You say will stop over our state and local taxes on gas development in order for the rebate and react an abatement on its holder prevent the people through this not a threat to the spring months are not can it do that instead to make another dependency project which will then undoing it will become a whole thing right and it was shoot grass prices. Further, because we see we saw this unbelievable time stimulus our country during the pandemic and what did it. What happened to the grocery store.

What happened to the cost of everything. It went up summer supply chain issues, but others were just people had they had more money to spend they were spinning in different places they were spreading it on in these certain kind of's industries and so the price goes up was for Jeff New York line to hey Jeff. Two.

Why do you think that they just don't think. Administration of not being concerned with what can affect like that the bolded permit or I think the writings of the loss of the house. So I think that that you are spending a lot of present binds time trying to save that one is for is just having it is not worth his time. Honestly not accepted say that they're not can it make a play and a lot can happen is politics is like the bit midterm for tomorrow so they're always looking for that long play to issues like this where they can try to say look your hurting were willing to give you hundreds of dollars to bail you out of this, but those those mean nasty Republicans. They won't let us give you the money to bail you out of this. So these the kind of I think you're just going to start seeing their domestic policy push it is going to be issues like this, or handouts to you, blocked by Republicans while he filled what if you let those Republicans did you not to be getting any more handouts.

I think that you just get a start seeing their talking points. I think the house is almost think it's hard to see a path for Democrats keep the house that's it very difficult to sit as well but then I give it up there. Just getting started and we Republicans had to do all the work on the front end and is a real conflict in Ukraine you really want to change towards this underutilized military conflict so you don't note Republicans should not be taking anything_anything for granted.

Right now nothing absolute right so we cut taxes are Marsha Blackburn will be joining us. She's on the Senate Judiciary Committee she's requesting Judge Judge Jackson.

I special the life issue they get ahead and replace the legacy of the broadcast – join us to give her kind of just what it's been like a babe and again how how is business editor asking those questions directly. She going to miss that shirt with your friends and family and support the work the ACLJ weave a matching challenge the entire month of March. We could double the impact your donations ACLJ ACLJ.or that's ACLJ.org.

Donate today. It is the kobold first ACLJ were little bit behind. We need your support ACLJ.org only one. A society can agree the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life.

We've created free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed.

Jesus here means to serve in many ways your membership powering the right question for you/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who face covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ to support for that.

We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help in the way was $20, $50 gift becomes 100 constitutional and religious freedoms.

Most back to secular. What we're joined now by a great friend of ours that mixer for Law and Justice Center, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee. Also on the Senate Judiciary Committee, even watching the hearings with the Supreme Court nominee Judge Jackson, you would've seen us there. Blackburn multiple times throughout the hearings, but especially in I just want to say thank you heard us specifically in an thank you Esther Blackford for spending time on the issue of life. We know it's it's a hot button issue right now. It's before the Supreme Court were waiting for the Dobbs case and to again just to push the nominee on those issues. Only after first or Blackburn to thank you for all from all of us, and for that from all of us were pro-life in the country for asked those questions but what did you think of her responses to your lighter questions. Your first with Rachel because we do a lot of buffer zone cases and she use those that that terminology to describe pro-life protesters you know is is that you and Dave Lowden and that that is the that speech is somehow. If you like the speech band. The speech, but your your reaction to the questions that you've gotten during the hearing. What dark matter and why are buffers on where people are blanking you determine you know I crown, and in your present Start getting the language she can hear his kind. She wrote that great choice wanting back to the spring court thing she called on the population anointing in your Start time pro-life women that way and I like to think about the women in her chart. Her problem I like to think about people like me that are prevalent again. I think I'm not there.

We like the progress did being the authority immediately controls the power and laughter and are not equal to cinderblock first.

JI, actually. So in that we actually filed in that case, and then ultimately these cases ended up in the Supreme Court of United States, I was involved in three of them were I made the arguments on these were successful in almost all of them and then the one we were not successful in came back up very similar.

Again, a Massachusetts law, just like she was talking about and all nine justices of the Supreme Court ruled in our favor saying that was protected speech even in front of the abortion clinic and she's an outlier, even to the most liberal members of the Supreme Court very well overall member spring court line Dan Jeff and I think it important for people to hundred matter about the child porn account application.

The way he always went to the minimum or no recognition after her soft on crime letting criminals out of jail. She actually waited again. I agree she all 1501 federal detainee Department of correction during the late 19 going and really bank robber heroine murderer US Marshall.

She really acknowledging your people back on the street and crimes. Please read and write very high Blackford polishers much that can be there long, except it's the kind you get this highlight, save it into the day that you been part of those highlights in and been late at night when the your lighter question on the life issue began. I was evening people's eyes had a during prime time, but I think when it first started hearing this for people who might not be as again that they would they would understand was going to follow what's going on but at first to come to see what this was someone without a philosophy at all, or judicial philosophy, and certainly would answer those questions, but as it as it went on it became more clear because of your line of questioning some of your colleagues line of questioning that there is a judicial philosophy here like like we said it seem like it may be out of step with even some of the more liberal members of the Supreme Court especially presented when she says her judicial philosophy is impartiality will every judge has to be impartial is not judicial philosophy.

That's a requirement to being a judge never got hurt a lot and why hearing her part of her life, her judicial knowledge and you know I began from a plaintiff may challenge the act and think a second applicable law can take one important part in patient with one other race with the center and that is she was asked about fundamental rights in the easy answer, which is also truthful answers will process fundamental rights but memories will explain the speech, free exercise of religion, freedom of the press to freedom of association and the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures their six-member right to a speedy trial right against self-incrimination, but instead she's cute she completely dodges it but you really hit her in a with your questioning on abortion being in unenumerated right and she conceded that's what it was our right to her claim that the right to an abortion abortion by their mind that abortion may have the right to terminate that and she started to learn she did not want to answer portion and the question court before the court before you go to court.

I want to know you are on preserving life enumerated by Angie that fell important on the issue of abortion that we the children survive botched abortion inconceivable when trying to trying to do is write abortion and terminate life just thank you sir Blackford for standing up and speaking for all of us who are pro-life in the series and for not letting this nominates get away with this.

These unclear answers recently learned a lot more about her because of what you've done this weekend and your team is done questions so I appreciate all of your work. Sir Blackford and your time coming right at a hearing to join a stay on the broadcast. Thank you sir.

Blackford folks we come back second half hour, not remotely gas price issue Sec. Pompeo to be joining us on the NATO meetings in Brussels right now she don't want to miss it. Second half hour, the American; just as critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ challenge for every dollar you donate $10 becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100 checking the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family today. Online keeping you informed and now Jordan, secular secular, so we are tearful close to 164, 31 to we talked about gas prices, you would just talk like to sitter Marsha Blackburn, who just finished up some questioning at the Senate Judiciary committee were she serves on Judge Jackson. Now there are two witnesses of Judge X but she really took the mantle of the pro-life issue and and hammered home so that we had a better idea of what this nominee was all about to tell you when it first started it was a nominee who is not a get one answer judicial philosophy would answer a lot of questions you talked about methodology instead of philosophy and being impartial is a judge will that's kind of a given but we we saw that this is likely a nominee who, because of the questioning of people Exeter Blackford, who is outside even the mainstream of the left on the judiciary certainly have some issues like like life and also show that the sentencing be tough on crime, so I again because of their work they are doing what they can Force these nominees to to to say anything but what they can do is ask tough questions and try to draw out information so it's great to have her.

The broadcast as I know you all follow this record just like us very closely joined by Sec. Pompeo's exit with the broadcast employment.2 issues with him.

Title 42, title 42, was put in place by the Trump administration. It allowed for immediate expulsion of of illegal migrants on the southern border because the pandemic it expires next month and there is talk that they be by the administration will allow this to expire. Now this is critical because of one.

We know that there is been record numbers at the border. This is about to be what's feel the warm season so more people make the trek and if they drop this power so they take this power away from the federal government.

They won't have that explosive power, by the way this the same time while you got the of the White House Press Secretary is covert again and Hillary Clinton has covalently taught seed coat arises in other parts of the world. So why on earth do this except for political purposes again to allow this course on the boards would talk to Sec. Pompeo about that but also what's happening at NATO right now we we will probably learn more about that after these meetings finish up but that's occurred right down Brussels. He certainly been at those babies before Austin to get some insight there as well, yet working again.

I think you have a full readout after the broadcasting on NATO so tomorrow's program we will convert II would launching some of the covers on that last night and you know, look at me is a tragedy of use proportions and the problem is you now have upper just isolate one report I may be wrong on this will so check my number but it was in excess of 10,500,000 people from Ukraine have been totally displaced and it be there left the country or gone to another portion of the country that's safer, there's no homes for them to return to when somebody cities because the Russians have leveled this so the difficulty here is that Russia is playing a very aggressive game and not a game. Now the question also raises their military capable of going into the next level or does this become an Afghanistan where there's a long-term engagement.

Ukrainian people are fighting valiantly, but the roads also report you brought up yesterday Jordan where Abramovich which is one of the largest of not be largest oligarch that Ukraine asked that he not be sanctioned by the United States because he is negotiating units write to you got a give. There's a lot at play here. It's not a clear-cut issue. Certainly, where NATO has said they have their very united, but what they have not been united on is exactly how to assist Ukraine.

There's there's certainly more central and eastern European countries that are calling on more aggressive steps by dado give the US intent of the Western countries and in dado saying you we don't want to get to a direct confrontation with Russia. This is a month now. This conflict is been going on a month a conflict that most predicted expert take days is now about the human toll is gigantic. The infrastructure Ukraine. I mean it's destroyed but they get a lot to talk about Sec. Pompeo.

We think your focus to what hundred 64, 31 to support the work of the ACLJ River Sec. puppy as part of our team at the ACLJ senior counsel for global affairs because your financial support of the ACLJ were able to bring about as part of the tape supports ACLJ.org donate today will be right back.

The American Center for Law and solutions at home and abroad defending religious freedom. Protecting those without your support for that. We are grateful to others and help in the way. $20 gift becomes 100 constitutional and religious freedoms. Most only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stay in the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created three powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed secure means to serve the many ways your membership powering the right question for you/secular joint may never see your counsel for global affairs for secretary of state Mike Pompeo, Sec. propeller jump right into it because I would get a couple of topics. First I hear domestically and in what's going on with NATO and Ukraine Russia. First off the wheel. Title 42, was put in place by the administration you served in two again during the pandemic. It allowed the immediate expulsion of illegal migrants back to Mexico. It expires next month and there is talk that the Bible administration might allow it to expire during the beginning of the high season because the warmer weather of illegal immigration, which we've seen in record numbers at month to month to month, quarter to quarter to quarter at this idea that they would let this go with with and into this program.

I continue in this program at all right now without impertinent without having a massive additional crisis in our border with Jordan.

I know you and Jay and Rebecca adopted was protected everywhere and always, if bailout 42 teleported to the bar would be just another another chink in that armor another step along the way towards a radically open border is part of what the biometric campaign got part of what the progressive left demanding from him and it presents real risk United States of America. I hope that that will extend title 42, it made an enormous sense, don't forget that only does it allow the spoken but it sent the message, it will send a message to those who are trying to get here that this administration misses the time this is going to come to United States travel here illegally and will do nothing to stop you from coming across entering American, ultimately becoming part of American society is really risky that nonstop without all dangerous course spin is is a epidemic of unbelievable portions and I don't know people understand that the portion of summer southern borders has allowed the Sentinel to get into the United States and is causing literally millions of deaths around our country. It's a serious problem.

The real problem today and you know you you always know when the problem has increased because you can tell what but knockoff on the market today. The price below that may apply at high demand is rising to meet that the blind compacting all across the country and rural areas.

The bourbon fight but my home state of Kansas in urban cores. This is a chemical substance comes largely from China shipped to Mexico and then because were not doing a darn thing to enforce what's coming controlling what coming in and out of our southern border moving in the United States along I 35 and spreading throughout the country reading devastation on many community six addend every families block families in touch with the summing… I am I'm furious when I think about the way in which this ministration is done about this. Let me ask one last question on that. If, in fact, title 42 is terminated, which it seems, it will be at the end the month. They don't seem to have anything to fill in the gaps so to speak, so are we going to see back to those caravans in record numbers of people trying to get in here in the disaster.

The board that we saw just last year with the binder ministration is that what's good to be the end result in the number when when you began to send the message out on the Guatemala places all around the world like that this will be a welcoming environment will not turn your back with American law were going to just allow you to come in you that it is very likely that the numbers already. Already, multiple times what they were doing the final two years of the trumpet ministration staggering numbers will only continue to increase in engaging others not only these are the drugs, and horrific about what happens to people who were transiting Mexico is the worst of the worst and wait. We ought not permit… For so many reasons, including making sure we know is coming into our country whom I want to do harm to here to what's going on right now in our present is it Brussels as NATO in the meeting of the G7.

Today marks one month's one month would since the Russian assault on Ukraine. I began a lot of lot of folks that this not take a month and we went Nestlé beer but we are now. I hear that Ukraine is a fought back. Superb present but he's there discussing a plan to bolster NATO's eastern flank encounter the prospect of escalation. This fear of nuclear attack equivalent spokespeople going out in English saying we've got the justification for use nuclear weapons. What needs to happen what should Joe Biden be doing right now is at these meetings so that I handle things. What I'm glad they're there about having a conversation with you all about conversations without real substance than strategic leadership artwork that are worth the time spent on them than a handful of things. The first is to make very clear the cost of Vladimir Putin that he uses any kind of WMD chemical and biological weapon are God forbid a nuclear weapon which suggests we should be crisp and clear that NATO will respond in a way that will impose a staggering cost and we should do this before not wait to leave that it can then mess around and take month. We should be ready to respond in that way. Second, glad they're putting increased presence in Eastern Europe.

I would hope that the European would take the brunt would take the heavy load that would take the real burden and then finally we should not forget in spite of the fact they are meeting in Brussels in Europe with a series of European leaders. We shouldn't forget that the Chinese government party is watching all this German Kim launch date. The longest missile and he is ever launched.

According to reports wheat we shouldn't.

We should never misunderstand the lower focused on Ukraine the whole world is watching what were doing and are on giving them a bat giving a sweet deal watching German compartment. So, with nothing but a statement from the State Department coming out.

This is a real risk of cascading in the European leaders and the American leaders there on the ground about talking about how it's going to restore the order and deterrence that we had for the previous four years. Binder ministration is considering removing the Iranian Revolutionary guard system is another unbelievable from the US terror watch list the status of the Revolutionary guard is one of that supposedly when the last sticking points of the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran. This Iran is the largest state sponsor exporter of terrorism in the world watches been negotiating as the middleman here in this whole thing if they were to do this if they were to make this move, Mr. Sec., one of the consequences. Your new revolutionary guard force well right and other history know that guilt so many American across the world, including in the Middle East to fellow Muslim brothers wheat. We know that what assassination Carrington Europe and allow them off the hook for that character to deny the factual reality that there sole focus is exporting terror from Iran to gain leverage for the radiantly. I told the rating leadership announced they were going to lift that designation will take our moral authority way.

Thank you. The way after it is so confounding it will will provide money that the Ayatollah can continue to increase the amount of money available for the stair to provide resources to the Revolutionary guards. This will only increase the scope and scale of tear emanating from her that it is dangerous not only for the goal state but for Israel United States as well. This is Steve's answer to question for today because covered a lot of topics, but that did it seem like this is just another character that the binder Mr. Hsu physically got to give to Iran to get back into doing this, said the JCP layer. The nuclear deal. The final three years that deal determined that there is nothing left in the deal timeline is shrunk, has shrunk the boat which will give them a clear pathway to a nuclear weapon is no constraint on the missile systems of the space program.

There is no limitations on their capacity to commit terror around the region.

Indeed, the sanctions on their primary tool for care exportation. It's incomprehensible that this piece of paper would be signed by the next day at the park and think for a moment it was going to protect families all across the country. Sec. content was always the appreciate your insight into all of this is a lot going on the road a lot happened in our country and we appreciate let everybody know again trip details that suggest the broadcast resurgence I see your counts for global affairs.

Appreciate always his support and were able to do it because of our five financial supporter shipments. We thank God the secretary for being with us. Only when a society can agree most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We created three powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed secure means to serve in many ways your membership powering the right question for you/the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those who face covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life and the court seen in Congress ACLJ to support for that.

We are grateful to others and help in any way. 2001 hundred constitutional and religious freedoms. Most second tier cause the same if you really are 164, 31 to 11. Encourage you to do it now at your Rockets is what hundred 63110, but again we been time at the international work of the ACLJ just type secretary prepares or see your counts for global affairs, former Secretary of State about what's going on in Brussels and NATO in Ukraine issue another that were a month in but we will be also.

I highlighted some yesterday to broadcast some of the work that we be doing to you when as well.

Yesterday we play were the interventions that I did on Afghanistan. We got intervention also that just edit the right stance on India's well yes so we are active in these oral interventions are a big deal because you before the delegates and CC housing accounts for the ACLJ does a lot of international work made the intervention's easy to tell everybody. First, what that means scarcity rights Council meets three times a year in Geneva and on agenda items that they want to cover and so we get to choose five of them are limited to five and we get to deal written submissions on Christian persecution in countries and human rights violations and finally get to do oral interventions before the Council itself and plant yes graduate at this is now give the floor to European Center for Law and Justice. Thank you, Mr. Pres. Last year was reportedly the most violent year for India's Christian community since 2014 at least 486 instances of violence were recorded nearly 75% increase from 2023 71 of these cases occurred in the states that have anti-conversion laws in place. Remarkably, the vigilante mobs perpetrating almost all of these acts of violence did so with impunity from the local authorities. These mobs even threaten assault Christians in prayer before handing over to the police on allegations of forcible conversions. As we stated in our last oil intervention. These anti-conversion laws have helped to stir up nonviolence against religious minorities.

Yet despite the huge number of violent attacks and continued calls from the international community for any to take action and violence has continued to share. We highlight several of these new atrocities in our written submission which include threats, false arrest meetings, earnings, destruction, and more Christians in India should have the freedom to practice their faith and share the good news of Jesus Christ without fierce oppression and violence. We once again respectfully ask this council to take swift action by calling on India trip here. The anti-conversion laws and ensure that all of India.

Citizens can peacefully express their religious beliefs should be held responsible for these laws and violence, they legitimize these interventions. That's before the United Nations Gen. assembly sought for the rights Council.

Rather, so human rights Council notoriously left of center and can be very hostile especially on Israel but it's interesting holding my hand a letter that we received from one of our presentations or before the presentation actually from the left was the head person but was a human rights officer Roberto Henderson to our EC LJ director general are talking about one of the submissions we made in appreciating and then later finding out that the gain communications that they actually appreciated that we actually participated in this mess outside of the universal periodic reviews wiki are separate from these general session right but they also have three sessions a year and resubmit each session 14 country reports of 42 reports we do for the year and this is one of the reports on Micronesia and we literally had a Skype meeting because it is during her bed and based stated that they really appreciate our reports and especially on Micronesia because we were one of only four people that reported so it is important it really is folks and will make an impact on what to tell you something, getting this UN status and any can attest to this was not an easy task. It took us three years of really duking it out with the he went to get it.

We it certainly does. Because of so many people who apply for special consultative status before the United Nations, and fewer than half of those that apply during a given year are admitted because you've got the people on the other side. Countries such as Turkey, India, China, and so forth. Who can object to this and we have been very successful in through our European Center for Law and Justice in making interventions and receiving as J pointed out accolades, and thanks and appreciation from the United Nations for those events that we have intervened in in Geneva Jordan work on this long time to and the fact the matter is there are very few groups that are this act if the file report on every single country when it becomes available to do it and we do it and then we make these interventions whenever we can, and we moved to make interventions whenever we can, and we have appeared before the international criminal court and make not talking about it appearing there more than once.

Johnny say this is this kind it's worth, it is unusual for US-based organizations and also these international organizations that just want the hot button in a hot button to hop on hop, but anyone with his email was on Micronesia right you do so, he takes the commitment that's what they want to see if the UN is that you are not just in there to be on Ukraine Russia you know in this tenant that the biggest news of the day, but that even some of the places the people might not even exist as countries that you were willing to take the time take the expertise to also go through and delve into the issues is what's affecting his people – whether it's a country the size of India, whether it's a place like Afghanistan, which is been through war than this to US withdraw the Taliban takeover or Micronesia will issue the reports were in your forgiving of all the interventions and I get this is a commitment that ACLJailer the EC LJ may take to do this work at the UN to be present and and the reason why you're seeing it this way is is because during the pandemic.

We've had the oral interventions done by remote. You know I called these things, the ministry of presence being that sometimes naming your thoughts about this a lot.

Just being there makes a difference does it makes a great difference. This is something that you brought up and we were in Israel right talking about the confirmation of the patriarch of Jerusalem and the Greek Orthodox church and they made a great deal of difference because there you had to have both the Palestinians, the Jordanians and the Israelis are proving who the new patriarch of Jerusalem is can you imagine this because he went back to Ottoman times.

The times of the Turks and we were there physically present for several weeks and eventually Asia and engaging in negotiations on the ground and tell me that me tell you something negotiating in the Middle East is seven dimensional Scott on kinds of ramification quickly recovered near the end of the program, but we also have had success in front of you when committees on unlawful detention sets right so just like the working group with a universal periodic review. There's a working group with arbitrary detention and that is more like a court of law because you actually file a complaint or brief with them and it goes through a whole procedure and we been very successful there as well which the status it's a been a very difficult case for pastor Saul pastor saw is still serving his time. The one hope that we have is that he might released early. Yes he's in China and that he might get released early by the legal kind of tactics that we have had to be involved with on pretty much we've kind of gone through all of that is not a US citizen is in a green card status aircraft is been hard to get that part of it done, but that will give up and we had pastors released from India, Turkey, ran hopefully soon China in the next but doesn't for the broadcast today, but you've seen the scope of the work and the people were working with and support the work of the AC objects the time to do it for the month of March. A matching challenge doubly impact donation they will match your donation. Step EC LJ.org doubly impact support, love the look of a high-grade national theater support by this whole team is assembled and why all the work were able to do it is ultimately your financial support ACLJ ACLJ that they will talk you have the American Center for Law and Justice working solutions at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the EC LJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate will be $10 becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100 affecting the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family. You forgive today online
