Hello, on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the USA today puts out an article saying nothing. I now join studio now. Tonight we are country awakened the danger and called to defend freedom and anger. The resolution whether we bring our enemies to justice bring justice to enemies justice will be done, call one 800-3102 secular where you take a stool and all the social media others places the show is free right now if you talk to some air one 800 684 30 would we go special guests in the studio with us for the full hour of the broadcast record I was joining us as a senior advisor to the ACLJ retreat to have you in the studio so nice of you here for the full hour Duchess for for what segment I wanted to talk to the vet that the 20th anniversary of 9/11 were given to some of your story where where you were in life and kind of where it took you, but just the initial reaction is 20 years out from those attacks at the different level of facts have a different generations of Americans. I think for all those who were alive that day and cognizant of what was happening, so not too young, that this was the fight with a defining moment for generate for many different generations and it certainly was for me it's always somber.

I still get really emotional this weekend and end the couple of days surrounding 9/11. I really reminded of what so many of my Jewish friends always tell me of telling stories about the Holocaust right is so important. Remember, remember, and as we we find the people who directly experience the Holocaust as their their starting to die off the stories are incredibly important. I feel that same way about 9/11 is that my story of what happened that day is so unique and so new to even my nephews and nieces who were too young to remember and it's shocking to me that we have people who are adults today who have no idea the emotions that were going through all of us and it's a generational thing have to tell our stories is my point. We have to remind people of what happened to the United States of America on September 11.

We people in our office right here.

There were two and three years old when it happened. So you do have to cut it's easier now with technology because every year that only is TV presenting imagery, but were presented with it on social media and wants to talk about it. But you're right historically to be told and my son read all the stories and deftly treat 9/11 in school now almost like the Titanic. It's one of those things where he's coming up with books of this book about surviving 9/11 and it odd to have lived through. It is especially you guys both did both in DC at the time I was in college. It was a very unique moment and something that none of us forget, but as you said, we do need to keep reminding people and Afghanistan. When this happens it deftly brings back a lot of those feelings a lot of emotion you get it. That sort of genetics are broadcasted. We are like a photo taken from thoughts to him and where you were on 9/11 and that that feeling that I'm surely most of you, you can recount exactly what you're doing when you figured out the gravity of what would happen really wrap your head around and try to where you were standing who you're talking to it where you were in country people share the stories is that they can do as well. 164, 31 to let me say something about the bind date.

I know a lot of you there are position ACLJ is one that he is not put this out into actual rules.

Yet there would be rules.

All we got was bullet points right now. What he said I will tell you this, some of it sounds extremely constitutionally questionable, potentially unconstitutional. Talk about later, as we have challenges facing Americans were substantial time and are no more freedoms for constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to the American Center for Law and Justice ACLJ on the frontlines projecting your freedoms defending your rights in court in Congress to get in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success.

But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms that remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side. You are already a member. Thank you. Well, this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice defend the rights of life, we created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn, called mission will show you how you personally.

Publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists ramifications. 40 Years Later St. what Obama care means to discover many ways your membership is powering the right question mission in life today online/11. Also Afghanistan neutral word spoken to be the guy did it. All that happened as the. During this buildup to the 9/11 in the 20th anniversary and I think I get it all the provider. So, for what happened down 9/11 the conflicts that came out of it.

Terrorism that that we were dealing with a even on our own soil. Here the United States a very serious let me that we got recruit Allison here with us and Rick. We just kind of hinted early on and focus on what you share with your friends and family were doing this live as a a look you back the kind of detail we told every year. Different peoples have stories and focused on where they were what they were doing. Rick you had a really unique story so we go back to 2001, you find yourself in Washington DC starting out and and that you got a position you know where you ultimately is going to be in New York to tell people about so I had worked previously with Ari Fleischer, my friend who was the Ways and Means spokesman. I'd work for Congressman Ways and Means committee. We got to know each other and he helped me if you remember he became the White House Press Secretary for George Bush. He helped me get into the administration. The Bush ministration and this was before 9/11 and I had worked on the McCain campaign so I was a McCain guy coming into the bush team and Ari got me a job up at the UN, and I was going to be the US ambassador to the UN spokesman US ambassador nominee at that point was struggling with confirmation and so we were fighting for his confirmation. It was John Negroponte at the time we had scheduled. Finally, a hearing for John Negroponte in Washington we were preparing for the hearing when 9/11 happened and the hearing was delayed by a day or two I remember and they rushed John Negroponte through confirmation. What we thought would be a messy confirmation fight, 9/11 made it kind of mood and they immediately rushed him through. He was confirmed by voice vote sent up to the UN immediately after like days after 9/11 and I found myself in New York working for John Negroponte at the UN when we were organizing what to do about this tragic 9/11 your Utah transfer sheet you get to New York at you. Ultimately you end up spending eight years there I worked with four different investors. The conflicts began pretty soon after, but before we got to the conflict Afghanistan or Iraq. What was it like walking into someone who's duly represented the United States to this international body right that their response at the time to the United States as a people forget sometimes the world where the world was.

The world felt, you know, I was a young staff are basically going up to the United Nations and at that point you view the UN with kind of idealistic eyes. This is where the world comes together and so when you walk into that huge Gen. assembly Hall of the UN and you look around and you see 190+ placards from countries quickly look for the Europeans and for others who share our values capitalism the rule of law and so when I arrived there was, you know an incredible outpouring for the United States of America because of what had just happened to us and people could see that terrorism had come to the United States and George Bush was only eight months into his presidency, and if you remember he one on this compassionate conservatism mantra and he was going to kind of change the way we talked about immigration and minorities and and that was the goal and then 9/11 happened and he became the war Pres. and for the rest of his tenure. It was about foreign affairs and and military action and that was not what he had planned, but he rose to the occasion and I think all of us immediately were thrown into this. That was my first serious job in foreign policy 20 years ago. I would say we heard the clip from President Bush. At that moment at Ground Zero with bullhorn those are moments of exit will live forever. Those of you.

You were there. That's it. That's because the moment they played the whole Presidents when your Disney World here, the five or six moments that make you get up clip from Kennedy in a cliff Bush you were there was that like well you know to whenever the President came at that point in New York.

There was a huge organization for any President, obviously. And so I was just doing kind of that the staff are things right so I will. I didn't get to be with him in that moment, but I was down there organizing in to be honest like I can even remember exactly where I was obviously organizing media and in doing all the things that yes pleasure everyone who even people working directly yeah I was about days later. Very emotional and and I think we had so many foreign dignitaries that wanted to go see 9/11, the Ground Zero and and we would take them down and I can remember doing that time and time again taking world leaders down showing them what happened and their emotions and their advice to say to us you know, please don't hesitate what can we do to help that they're pleased to say were with you.

This is terrible around the world on the lines of text. Unfortunately, the coalition comes together. We pretty quickly so worked there for to go from thinking my photos even here yet for immigration and and you have the sports have compassionate conservatism to organize a war you and that was what was begun for you as well as putting together the coalition that would that would that would do that. I say think that we had Connie Rice right because and and I believe that God had placed her in this role because Connie was in a national security advisor incredibly patient smart, unflappable, and remembered George W. Bush was the Texas governor and in his team largely were from Texas, Karen Hughes and and all these wonderful people, but they were not equipped in that moment to run an international program at a war a response. A diplomatic response and yet they they did rise to the occasion. But I think that Condoleezza Rice became incredibly important and I think that that's when the relationship really solidified because Pres. Bush trusted her and she didn't miss a beat.

She was really a hero them. Yeah, absolutely.

I think we looked regular governments in the segment left so make sure that we cover everything as much to begin with you. So incoming segments. We are to talk for those who are curious about. I was going on, California. There were that were headed towards that week what secular look like and the process seems of unfolded want to make sure we spent time the proper amount of time.

Jordan on this young Memorial holiday if you will now coming this week and significant. It every year for the last 20 years. It certainly has become a topic this year more, more, maybe prevalent than ever because of what happened Afghanistan is nearly always exactly 20 years later in that sort of the heartbreaking part about this in the.

The original date was to get out by September 11.

Sort of a celebratory way. But now, times have changed and we see what time last month. I think a lot of people don't want to think about with time for me to admit something you really good treatment to admit something that that I today. In today's world of a little bit embarrassed by why I didn't get this at the time but I was in Washington DC on 11 as as I was describing and when confronted with the planes going into the Pentagon or at that point CBS was reporting a car bomb in a safe environment.

Some really some misinformation, but scary stuffers for those of us in Washington DC. Somebody had said to me oh you know whether plane went into a building in Manhattan and my response was why are you talking about Manhattan. We have a situation here in Washington DC like I did not connect the two in the slightest. I thought of whether plane had gone in in Washington and in New York and I was in Washington. Hearing about all of this chaos. My focus was where I was right very selfish personal moment of wow this is an attack, possibly in Washington and you're talking about some whether plane going into a building in New York like, get focus here is at times of change without where I think now if social media existed, you would've known Ms. with those clips would have been available to seconds. The object also all of the interview no idea what was happening because what's crazily on the day and even fathom now that I have a force that when we were just watching it live unfold and try to figure out how to loosen Florida what it was so disconnected I was.

I was a decision for ship college and the classroom started to February became the guys are supposed to go back to class.

That's what this is there something the State Department that is GW sits right there and you heard of the tubing. I member my mom started back. Treatment the resilience of Americans.

The very next day in Washington DC was a different beast to mud. That was the kind of resilient part unity and I tell you GW. There's a lobster Northeast which was try to figure out you know uncle survived that surviving mom survived because the amount of loss we come back and discuss this with you out with enough flour only one.

A society can agree the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition will show you how you personally support the publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later in history and what Obama care means to discover many ways your membership is powering the right to question your free copy of mission life today online/challenges facing Americans were substantial time and or value freedom sword constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever with the Americans of everyone. Justice ACLJ on the frontlines projecting your freedoms and rights in court in Congress. In the public arena exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms that remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times.

The American; justice is on your side. You are already a member. Thank you. Well, this is the perfect time to stand with us. ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACL to secular special broadcast studio with us for the full hour of the broadcast, social approach, the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks we've talked so much written about Afghanistan affected Rick you looking forward a little behavioral telling her story and we could talk for hours.

We all could about, especially the positions you read this Wes requested to the conversation as well using military what they were hearing today.

Unfortunately, we saw the USA Today and I think you know with the mandate taken out yesterday may be some truth so we certainly feel the partisan politics, but they make a claim. Nothing can unite us now III tend to always fight back against that is American.

The there are huge issues are.

But when Osama bin Laden was killed.

That felt like that united the country for the most for the most part people didn't care about politics that day that there are still going to be moments that unite us the deposit they don't all have to be negative as well.

They could be possible with, but it certainly is a different age so that those eight years you spent at the at the UN thing shifted the view of the US and the Bush administration and the empathy and sympathy for the United States began to evaporate. Look, I think it's really important to to look back and admit when I think we overreach or did something wrong.

I was part of the Bush administration.

I think that changing the focus from Afghanistan to Iraq was the wrong decision and I was a part of that you know the the love and the unity that we had at the UN completely went away when we shift the focus will shifted the focus to Iraq and we all know, resolution 1441 and the problems that I had in the French and the Germans and and so many countries, even the British against us and you know trying to read what we needed to do and I remember President Bush saying I cannot wait until the individuals are climbing into the cockpit. It's too late.

Then we have to get them before they make their plans and that is the whole idea of a rocket made sense to me at the time, but I think you know. Over time, I've now become somebody who wants to focus on the immediate threats to the United States.

And that's the criteria is the immediate threats not to try to find places where we can build democracy. You know it's terrible that little girls can't go to school in Afghanistan, but they can't go to school and cut the condo either. And where do we stop where do we start where do we go on sites 2020 to create your it's easy to look back freely. What and say okay well maybe my life use look your life experiences up to that .20 years ago, a young guy won her first major jobs over here. There are obviously used intelligent thought was there. Everyone thought that was right they do. There was still mass unity in certain parts of the of the world in the country for Iraq. I know that a lot of people who still loves to talk about it. That whole experience so I know what you like to eat your struggle, but I could tell the conversation, but that we can all look back. It got easier to look back 20 years out.

I'd say shirt with Robert about maybe the wrong decision, but at the Mulberry were trying did America seem to be trying to do which that they'll prevent the next attack and to maybe it'd not do so. The best way to bring about some form of peace and this this area and I and I do see the point and there was a lot of support from Democrats and Republicans for a rock. II personally just think it's really important for public servants to be transparent and we need to declassify and let people see the process admit you know where humans were never going to be perfect, and I do think that we've learned so much and for me, Donald Trump really helped solidify this idea of putting America first rather than just deal with consensus around the world letting others veto what is best for us.

Wes, you got a piece of it, ACLJ.org, a solid remembrance 911. 20 years later I can express that with the headline that you week we could never unite again I be that which is which is such a depressing thought. If is American. I think I can get people's extremities of the moment, but if you did you forget the good and the bad that unites that unites America, but this is a tough one because were looking back 20 years of that same day were doing that talking our government is working with development tragedy often brings unity and that is a good thing it is bringing something good coming out of something very tragic, very bad.

Yeah, I think we all want to be united right now it's tough. I think we should try and be united, but so much is changed and in the last 20 years, you know, in 2001, the Taliban -controlled a few provinces in Afghanistan where they harbored Al Qaeda today, 20 years later and billions of dollars later and over 2450 service members lives later, they control the whole country and that is a tough thing for Americans to get our heads around.

You know, and we want to be united, but had the events of the last three weeks not happen, we would be commemorating tomorrow in a very different way and it is not a celebration we don't ever celebrate what Congress has deemed Patriots' Day is something we commemorate much like Pearl Harbor day.

Yeah, this is a tough time. I still I still think we can be unified. I'm not hopeful that is going to come anytime soon. So much has changed. You mentioned during our pre-preproduction meeting.

Social media has changed so that how word gets out in people's opinions. There's a lot of bitterness in her and a lot of division.

Rick mentioned earlier that this is an emotional time for him and it is for all Americans. I think I is a retired Army Army officer after it up a lot watching people being interviewed and and clips and what have you. But as of the retired Army got guy. I have had a lot of pride the last couple days thinking about the fact that the first battle in the war on terror was actually fault over the skies of Pennsylvania and average Americans took about and they attacked the enemy and that's been in the front of my mind. Today this is Schwartzman going on 20 years, but the first battle we wanted.

We won it with average Americans in Pennsylvania.

Can I add something to that is just a challenge for young people and people listening you're on a plane that happened to you, would you get out of your seat and fight somebody trying to take over the cockpit.

Would you would you stand up and do it because they were average people who had incredible courage above average courage and they didn't hesitate. Let's roll. Let's do this where the sayings and and that humbles me. Yes, to think about just everyday people on a plane that were willing to say no you're not going to do this and take over their behavior was really medal of honor kind of behavior absolutely stellar way to look at. I think that that's often forgotten.

I think that's I've never heard but that was west arguing that's a very interesting perspective on this. We talked about uniting situation and we brought this up a little before in previous shows we've all discussed which was Geordie said it will be everywhere, never to be able unite again. I think over Afghanistan over what we just saw this actually decent amount of uniting, I think unite around a presidency when it unite around our government, but we all united in horror over what we were saying. You actually could say for the first time maybe in four, five, six years you saw what was considered deemed typically the more liberal journalist liberal news actually doing their job in responding.

Think this is ridiculous this amazing massive failure, so there may be uniting moment for the majors not look the same.

They may not be as red white blue flag waving as they once were the baby that we are getting together and in realizing when it will be messed up how we got fixed then I fish the thought because we have second half-hour coming up. You take for your thoughts to 100-684-3100 64, 31, two different things unite us different way and there was that the questions that will you as well is that you hold fire, I write back on secular rebel second ACLJ is been on the frontline protecting your freedom is defending your rights in court in Congress and in the public arena. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side.

If you're already a member.

Thank you for your not well this is the perfect time to stand with ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life-changing work, member today ACLJ keeping you informed and now, this is Jordan secular what it is for the first half-hour live about this and having Rick on the set with us was here to be able to reflect on my left it, and on where we are down to country. But there's a lot going on in our country got political battles. We have given I know a lot of you write out sick my wrist for the social of the mandate that was announced yesterday to tell you this, where legal organization.

I will wear a five year as legal organization document really go through a bunch of bullet points of talking points from present who, yes, he said, tough. Yes, he sounded extreme. The rules of the actually impose match that or is it a lot is that without a lot of big talk before start say what what is it what is it right out. What is it legal right what you think is right or wrong policies different question. But if we talk the legal issues we have see it. You see what this emergency order actually looks like, what does it be that of 100 people, especially when we look outside of the federal government mandate or the hundred employees.

They'll be the hundred ploys at one location. If you had to employees location and 98 of 98 other employees work remotely. Does that apply to you.

We don't know any of that yet. We don't know what exceptions are there, what exceptions are there.

I will tell you there's things seem very constitutionally suspect to those was the ACLJ, we want to see what they're trying to do and then we will we will respond accordingly.

So don't think for a moment were not following that very carefully tracking that very carefully.

Everyone should start delivering some sort of mail within their office and then characterize themselves as a postal worker. That's right. Then you get around that exactly nobody.

Let Libby go Logan I'm one of the issues we want to talk about Edwards have posted what type of excitement about it but is, of course, California where Rick lives in the recall effort was you been involved in it because we get questions about a sure California is one of our our biggest support groups are there for the ACLJ field Southern California's people. People like to characterize Southern California in their heads as this obsolete is highly AA liberal area area that you think Hollywood you think that but our biggest base we were to do it world tour.number one stop would be Southern California or LA or Florida held Orange County support millions of conservatives there are very active people. Yes, immersing right-sided unfold get frustrated and maybe rightfully so, as we seen others in your state.

Take it at a very extreme turn of the last couple years. Look, I think that it's really important for Californians to understand what we have been able to do by even getting this recall vote to about is a huge win. We have organized and placed on the ballot. Gavin Newsom's leadership, whether or not we win or lose, we one bite the world. Watching Joe Biden, Harris, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have all come to Gavin's rescue because they're so nervous. Gavin is having to to tell us why he is good and make a case for his leadership.

I hope that no matter what happens in this recall that Californians realize we've made a huge step in fighting back. We must continue to do that. I've have this organization called fix California go to fix California.com sign up help us. We are fighting the long-term fight of cleaning up the voter rolls. We just released an ad that really talks about all of the, the voter fraud problems. My attitude is, is unless we look into each case, we don't know how much is there and it's a lot of really troubling and concerning issues right now. Let's keep the conversation got a lot of people. Here in California give us a call to 1-800-684-3110 is 100-684-3110 for your question about this is a lot of debate over the ballots and how let's all working just like there was maybe a year ago, I can become a common thread really continue to follow a joint traffic California.com Québec retirement is your outside California like we are the abusive head of the reports of here for the polling is the hijinks that are going on what is being done there to tip to save evidence is pretty shocking how their voting California will protect his challenges facing Americans or substantial time with our Valley freedom sword constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice for decades now ACLJ on the frontlines projecting your freedoms defending your rights in court in Congress. In the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success.

But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms than remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you for not well this is the perfect time to stand with us.

ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life-changing become a member today ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition will show you how you are personally publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the history and what Obama care means to discover many ways your membership is powering the right question free copy of mission in life today online ACLJ/California with us because is occasionally see others what below support officer because Rick was target got to the point where they they having the vote for should have a vote on whether to hold recall votes were there to do that now. I will see next week. Maybe next week how the votes come out. Let's explain why said that Rick is beat. He retired before what they're doing with ballots. There is even more shocking and seems more egregious that even what we saw the last Presidential election with the mail ballots with everybody but in California it's a step. There's a step further, you could print your ballot in two ballot home it's coming to a state near you in Outlook when, Harris became the vice President, she was obviously our senator and Gavin got to appoint the US senator. He appointed Alex Padilla, Alex Padilla actually happened to be our Secretary of State so he moved out of the Secretary of State job into the U.S. Senate job which then meant okay now Gavin gets to a point.

Secretary of State was in charge of elections, so his handpicked appointee. Wow. He also has emergency powers. He has said were doing mail-in ballots.

Every single person on the voter rolls received a ballot we we know that ballots are going to people who don't live in California residency violations dead people. This is just fat. I don't care what any but he tells you any of the media that we have the proof. People who should not be getting ballots are getting ballots. People who just kind of were living in California for two or three months and had an address, and then moved away, seven, eight, nine years ago.

Still getting ballots.

You can send those ballots and and now our Secretary of State has announced. You can print your ballot from home because COBIT is so bad you can't leave your house. That's what they're trying to tell us we actually think about that folks. For most of us, this would be.

It's hard to imagine able to sit click print. Whether you were in your home office and you ballot go stick your mailbox the issues with that, he doesn't take a genius to figure out the issues you could have with that of your printing it could Try to tell people waste this easily, but this is very obvious created how just how far gone I was the most potential for voter fraud with the least amount of like what appears reconstitutes the seriousness of voting is taken away to completely from that process will take this call totally California online to hate Tony what the secular euro. They are talking to Rick rebels well got to know I love all night did not get ballot and so I went to Google and Perkin yesterday and my ability and I voting place and I had a concern when I voted I walked in and they give you a card and that the cables are set up day 18 inches on each side of each table and well so they have access to your movement when you go to hang your car you go to the machine and the machine affect a large iPad and cell next to it is another machine. When you get the card and liking ACM machine take the card and then you proceed to follow the instructions on the iPAQ now let it die is not working and asked you if you want to recall yes or no.

So you you you you do your answer there. What concerns me is that that divider for each of the cables about 8 inches high. If not, there is no privacy six algebra because we're timers for the show Rick. This privacy issue about being able to determine the votes without even opening the envelopes that with the majority of these will not be like Tony, they will not be in person there to be mail-in ballots. You were say. There's a couple different ways different counties are doing at different ways, but in one county. You could you could see if someone voted yes to recall yeah I think Tony's hit on something which we all want which is secrecy within the voting process and we have an LA County. The envelope for the ballots have two circles open circles open holes and it's taught we are told that this is important and a must do. And it's happened. You know they say oh no we done this for years. We've done this all the time and it's for usually ripped out Millie Alex to everyone on request and it all because people who are blind need to be able to feel and figure out where to sign. Well we have a think of braille we should be able to figure out how to do that. How to to help people align figure out where to sign without showing holes because the reality is if you fold your ballot a certain way and you slip it in.

If you voted yes on the recall, it shows up in the whole. This is just the reality now if you voted no, it doesn't show up now. Maybe it's a coincidence, but regardless it regardless that's wrong and it's a it's a flaw and I don't trust the system and you know Tony's point about secrecy I think is a valid one.

So this gets a bigger issue is that that kind of however this photos of people I wanted people to get out there. Voted voter turnout confusion about this, but that the problems with a cow for the visa is about future, these are cast of user structural problems. It may be with the recall you to start tackling some of the people, like you said, with a with fixed California. People gotta be like a little bit more dedicated this to the just election cycle because these problems that her skin is a statement within a take it seriously yeti it and like you want elections I could change all that. All of this bill to bureaucracy me whether not it's this goofy stuff like datable see the yes vote printing ballots at home, but it instead of trying to move something that more secure would still be new like the online which lumbar security have voter ID. I think you get there because I think that's enough.

There's no voter ID California right now there's you put it home. I don't know what stops you from putting together just putting it through copy machine. It's just I was US ambassador to Germany. I can tell you that the German government mocks us for not having an ID. They of course you have to devote get it. I did a vote around the world in other countries, but somehow conservatives have been put into a corner that if you say no every person must show an ID. The response back is were racist and we then back down because were afraid of that I am not backing down anymore and voter ID. I believe that if you are against an ID to vote, then you are trying to cheat because it's just so obvious. You must have an ID to do so many other things, voting should be one of those things your idea how many times a week quite a lot for things that are inconsequential or clear. But you have to do it it is it is an interesting topic as you brought that is, serve the politicization of these topics and with the rise of social media. These things people do people never stoop to tackle any issues because they don't want to see what happened to them. Having good to everyone else or whatever else happened to them. Specifically, you start having those kind of responses when it note clearly there should be some kind of ID that we we ID in this country for just about everything that we all have to go through the process of going back to the DMV this week or this year to get the Goldstar addict picture. All that's happening and inconvenienced everyone but you know for some reason it's been the one topic that then you will you have to have an idea guys try find without an ID doesn't work if you don't have your ID to prove it because our producer had to do it.

Once we decide to describe the process to plan you or you happen to me. I didn't have an ID in the literally I missed my flight because they brought me into another room and I had to show and and I was pulling up websites to be like silly is that he may not see me on for California's. This is a mover to come to if her sister for conservatives without stripping audits out there so I don't feel that talking almost directly to them right now because are so important to the workspace.

Seal J there's been a lot a grassroots work like you said to get to the step and now your diecut at the edge of see how things worked out, but is used for that you believe that all the work that was done this organizing is success is a success on its own and could potentially the more success the future we we have found so many more conservatives in California. My organization fixed. California has found 1.3 million conservatives were not registered to vote. I think over time what's happened in California is people are frustrated they think well it doesn't matter. My vote is a matter this is California so they have decided not to get involved not to engage this recall has changed people's attitude whether we win or lose, we must keep fighting. We are suing every county in California to clean up the voter rolls, but I think that that is one of the solutions the voter rolls are messy to messy. So I want to encourage everybody keep organizing keep pushing. We have already won by getting this to the vote of the folks in California got Tuesday that is the voter this obviously a lot of different ways to make sure you vote California right now so no excuses not to to be involved to our California audit back towards Riverdale Anchorage you go to ACLJ.org, as well as ACLJ.org see all the different work you were doing around the country and the world. That's it. ACLJ.Ward be right back on secular only one. A society can agree the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stay the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition will show you how you are personally publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later, when Obama care means to discover many ways your membership is powering the right question for copy mission life today online/challenges facing Americans with time and are now stored constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to the American Center for Law and Justice on the frontlines protecting your freedoms defending your rights and courts in Congress.

In the public arena and exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do our work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times.

The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you. Well, this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACLJ secular final site record now and we talked a lot with the heavy stuff of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and talked about Rick story of each.

Each year we try to bring out new stories do approaches do have a new view of of what it was like that dated, so you've got some heavy stuff, but I did what it while Rick was here good to the recall it, California's retired about what was happening California specifically his group which again affixed California.com put together an ad for California's odd voter fraud.

But there's awarding it. It is not just about California's ticketless watch coming out of California where voter fraud has been found Victoria Street gang may be behind efforts to rig the local election. Meanwhile, some voters in Riverside County have received multiple balance.

All religions are so want to make it easier to cheat winning at any cost undermines our entire democratic process in California. Democratic leaders are pushing reckless on the safe and radical election law changes to make it easier to steal elections, including blindly nailing pallets to every noncitizen allowing people to print counseling. I think Alvin and five others are facing election fraud charges prosecutor saving final tally for the second. This recall was read the note fraud exists in our election and the left and the liberal media refuses to investigate recall election. California is just as hundred and 12, balance.

Now that my the state did not make to Florence police sees a loaded 9 mm handgun drugs and stolen mail which included 300 recall election ballots radical effort by liberals to undermine our elections here in California just to start what they get away with in California will be replicated in states across the joint side and join our fight for freedom on election but we know I will tell you that is great at because it walk-through just the real issue. People talk about voter fraud. We talked about generally.

But if you don't like local news and you go, especially state size California you see what's happening locally at each place, whether it's the elected officials that are getting caught up in or street gangs that were be treated people that get caught with illegal weapon illegal drugs and 300 still would balance the so there's this the connection to a criminal activity but at Rick Rick we know it law and this is kind of hammered home to you in law school is that a lot of cases with something is kind of new and original and a little bit out there originate out of California and if and if the effect if there is California, the state or whatever city was victorious throughout the federal courts. This is what it will end up being like 10 years from now or less in every state derogative move that way legally. This is a concern issue on that front.

Sometimes that's good sometimes that's bad on this voting. That is, I think what would light it makes it a bigger issue than just what happens in California.

This is this the sick, hope to you and me got pretty close that a place like George, let me just be very crystal-clear printing your ballot from home is coming to a state near you.

This is what the left wants they they somehow spin this as direct access easy voting, but the reality is it's reckless and we all know that. And if we don't get focused on it right now to call it out and stop it. You cannot print your ballot from home that is crazy and let's get focused on it now in California because if we don't stop in California it's coming to Tennessee to Michigan to Illinois to highlight why would they just seem like one of those things that sure good to be voter reform should probably have some changes in the way the process works. Maybe that it isn't as secure as it was. That's part of your organization, but it certainly doesn't mind the rising immigration words like we have a crisis. We have an issue here is a Band-Aid that totally mixes up the entire system instead of actually going dancing are how we actually fix the problem, like the people who are in the economic situation or are elderly there group that was working a printer we told you we know that this is like a barrel. This is for people to do the fairest activities without noticing will combine it with not having his way, who's got the printer should get the access to that. I don't think that's the grandma but had home who feels isolated.

These little help you get to work or the people who are who are economically hurting them and I don't have really honest with you people who are isolated at home. Love going out to the polls to vote. I don't buy that they want to stay in their house to vote. They know that this is one of those activities that they participate in society. It's a good thing to do. They they they plan their day. My mother plans are day on voting day. She goes to lunch with people they go vote together. It is a social thing that she feels good about that because she's investing in her her no community. I feel that way you feel that what it is with his mom's bunch of us got together here and when outvoted altogether because it does, there is that communal patriotic feeling that you get from it understand times can change things can become adjusted, but this is clearly not let me menu by George that it's really hard to hear things like you print your ballot hope not immediately jump to well this is just for you. Let's remember that the reason why this is happening is because Gavin Newsom still has emergency orders in place. He has grabbed emergency orders power's because of COBIT and he is scaring people into believing that this is what needs to happen you need to print your ballot from at home and then other people will come pick it up here about that on the subject. You brought that up today.

The printing at home. This first. I really even heard that that's happening California and you're right, it will still have a trickle-down throughout the country because that's what happens in California still is made worse lives. If this works the other side there to fight as aggressively as possible. First will start the blue states will start where they got the control because they can get through solidify their support and then they'll start pushing out lawsuits about why you must do this or Becky write the script for the because we think that this over and over and over again. They have had some hurdles because we with this report said.

Okay, these provisions of preclearance of the voting rights act can be lifted now because were enough years past that affects a lot of states in the southeast that are suing states like Georgia Department of Justices suing Georgia right now because of changes to tighten up the voter rules also to extend voting to more people. Rick week we got admitted at half left to the weekend of the country because of that 11 different memorials will be going on the 20th anniversary dislike of a final word for people we can we get heavy hit if that it such an emotional weekend and and I love telling the stories.

I love telling people the emotions I my nephews and nieces always asked me around this weekend. Hate you don't tell me something new because they were not able to even some of them were born but but some of them were five, six years old and even 10 years old and they don't remember. I love Jordan what you said earlier about how everyone who has a memory does know exactly where they were when they found out about 9/11 when they turned on the news when someone called, whether they were in California and they were three hours behind and they turned the news on people were calling my mother was panicking trying to get to me.

Those are the times that build unity because we cared for each other in a crisis and and I think that's what you were talking about Logan is that we can get to that place where we have that unity and it doesn't necessarily have to be an absolutely got a lot on at ACLJ that are regatta heroes of 911 documentary feature short document with your friends and family to encourage you to utilize resources available@aclj.org for decades now ACLJ is been on the frontlines of protecting your freedom is arranged in court in Congress and in the public arena.
