They do not intend to go to hell. They sincerely intend that one day they will be say. Today they put all and refused to receive Christ now thinking that they will receive him later on. I believe that the sin of procrastination has blasted more dreams and lighted more lives and write more careers and families more so than perhaps any other sin not read the Scripture to you the deals with a man who procrastinated giving his heart to Jesus Christ and in all likelihood is in hell today. Acts chapter 24 in verse 24 and after certain days when Felix came with his wife Priscilla, which was a Jewish he said for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ and I see that is all reasons of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix Trimble and answered goal highway for this time when I have a convenience season.

I mean it's it's a stern sermon, he reveals a standard he really is a sin.

He reveals a summons that judgment is coming and so here was a man whose hands were filthy with the sins of the flesh, whose heart was in need of a Savior and Paul is not back down now.

What would Paul finishes the sermon look look what happens in verse 25.

Felix Trimble now widening Trimble. He was afraid of all Paul probably was there and change the wood frame.

Paul he was on the Holy Spirit conviction. Thank God the Holy Spirit of God does and I would to God we have more trembling today because of our sin because of the judgment that is to come because of the righteousness that God demands Felix Trimble becomes a right to the threshold of salvation. He is under conviction. Sanders is not Paul.

Wait a minute, going away for this time when I have a convenience season. I will call for you now. The second thing I want to see not only the preaching that convicted him, but I want to see the pressures that confronted him the pressures that confronted him you think about first of all, worldliness. The world war. In this man think of it. Here he is down in Caesarea. He's down there place of prominence, a place of power, a place of position place of praise he has.

I mean, he's a big shot now in order for him to say yes to humble himself he has to admit that he's wrong, you have to admit that he needs Christ's hey folks, a lot of people right here today who get on the conviction, but the devil said no but I'm front make a fool of yourself maintain a prime last like saying we were totally in my need life, you go down the front of myself and what he's been doing what the devil says to you, so I sits in the seat with Emerson and we call that world and how the world worked on but not only did the world were going flesh worked only.

I mean, remember there's Priscilla Ms. essentials like he's living there. The bribes that he's been getting.

There's a solid job that he has all the pleasures of the flesh that he might be asked to give a by the way different. The only thing I'll ever ask you to give up of the things that hurt you. That's all we do make you healthy, happy, holy, wholesome goddesses, help yourself Lord thy God is a summons you no good thing will he withhold from them the walk up rightly while the world were towing and pressuring him in the flesh were towing and pressuring Vander friend. That's when the devil worked on and pressuring you can read between the lines here and you can see how Satan is whispering in his ear and saying I am not Felix Pruitt. Your your acting emotionally. Just tell Paul that you will think about just telling is not convenient right now to make that decision. As you study history and his Bible and the warnings of the Bible you know indeed that so I have been sent to hell because they have simply postpone dating salvation. Pressure upon this man and so he simply says not now. Later third point first point, the preaching that convicted second point pressures that confronted you feel these things do not say third thing the postponement that condemned the presumption. Let me put it that way that condemned him look at the will in verse 27. The Bible says here that after two years Portia's Festus came in the Felix room and Felix willing to show the Jews of pleasure left Paul about what is at Telus dosing every site say.

He says I'm looking for a convenient time but he never received Christ as a matter fact history tells us that he died by suicide suicide. He was down in Italy and he was looking into placid lake of Clearlake and he saw his reflection in that lake, and evidently he began to reflect upon his life and the misery that was in his life, he plunged into Natalie and Brown suicide and I so ironically no other name Felix means it means happy happy happiness joy he continued, day after day week after week, month after month you receive Christ. We said no way for time when I have a convenience season.

I'll call you and he made three tragic miscalculations. I number one that convenience will come but convenience will come the idea that now is not the best time that tomorrow is a better time.

Tomorrow is not a better time and now is the best time I'll tell you why they why different. If you wait till tomorrow you lose today. I think about a week else okay get right with God. You may die. Let me change that get right with God. You may live, you, my friend Olivia Jesus. Now, if there were no heaven there is, but if there were no heaven, and if there were no hail there is. But if there were no hail. I mean if the Bible clearly said there is no heaven to be gained. There is no hail to be shown, I would still want to be a Christian. I'm in this life is all there is one Jesus writing in this life. I would want the Lord Jesus Christ don't feel sorry for me because I'm a Christian. Being a Christian is not something that you pay in order to get to heaven I read in this life is a joy and peace. Knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. You will lose. I mean, do you think Felix again so my 2020 with the world the flesh and the devil and brought in the happiness it brought joy. His life a misery.

My dear friend listen tomorrow may not come tomorrow may not come.

Proverbs chapter 27 verse one says was not myself among those not what a day may bring forth. We know that sometimes the young mother will kiss her helpless babies goodbye and step into eternity and sometimes even a little child has to drop his toys and grapple with the orange drink of day friendless people are dying.

Listen you want to.

One person dies a second 60 per minute, 3600 per hour, 86,000 souls, and they sold a year. Listen to the Scriptures first Chronicles 29 verse 15 our days on the earth are a shadow and is not abiding Job 7 verse six. My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle.

Psalm 39 verse five behold eyes made my days as an Hambrecht Psalm 102 and verse three. My days pass away like smoke.

Psalm 102, verse 11. My days are like an evening shadow. I wither away like grass friend. How foolish Felix was to say, I'll wait for a convenient time. Convenience may not come. Not only dear friend is foolish to say, I'll wait for more convenience season because you lose today, and death may come suddenly friend Jesus may come at any moment.

I mean at any moment. Matthew 24 verse 42 watch therefore, for you know not what hour your Lord, you don't know. Just be ready. Listen to this. Matthew 24 and verse 44 therefore be also ready for such an hour as ye think not the son of man, are you ready I mean if the trumpeted sound Jesus to come right now.

The Bible says be ready when you say I don't think is coming today by some sign on love. They might, for the Bible says. In such analogy thing not the Son of Man comes. I mean he's coming like lightning like a bolt out of the blue cloudy skies, cloudless sky like a Lord is going to come. Well, what was his first tragic mistake, that convenience will come. What was a second tragic mistake that conviction will continue keep resume so that conviction will continue here was a man traveling there was a man on the Holy Spirit conviction. I will remind you that conviction was all the Lord for the Bible says my spiritual not always strive with man, you can say no to God and that conviction can pass away. Let me give you a Scripture Hebrews chapter 3 in verse seven. Wherefore, the Holy Ghost said today if you hear his voice hard. Not your heart.

If the Holy Spirit of God speaks to you and you say no it will harden your heart every time you say no to Jesus Christ. Your heart gets a little harder, time to frame your heart will be so hard that the Holy Spirit of God cannot and will not speak to you three times in Romans chapter 1 you read what God gave them up. God gave them up. God gave them over. Listen to the Scripture. In John chapter 12 in verse 37 but though we've done so many miracles before them, yet they believe not on him is as though John is amazed. He says all of these miracles were done yet they believe not on him and then in verse 39 it says therefore they could not believe you get that verse 37 says they would not believe. And then verse 39 says basically not moving you see here Felix is all way convenience season.

I'll send for you, but the spirit of God had given him only upon him while he is near. Don't get the idea that you can try for the Holy Spirit the idea that you can just whistle and I'll come running.

You can manage your eyes and keep a bandage on so long that when you take advantage of you will be blind, my dear friend Felix made a mistake number one that convenience will come number two that conviction will continue to use third mistake that he may. He felt that conflicts would cease that somehow it would be easier later that it is not the devil never gives up anybody or anything without a fight with my dear friend listen they'll never be a better time for you be saved and now why, as the Holy Ghost said if you hear his voice hard. Not your heart by selling them often on those not on the day may bring forth. Now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

When you say I'm waiting only convenience season. I want to remember this tomorrow you will have more send repent of tomorrow you will have less time repent in and tomorrow you will have a heart-to-heart to repent with tomorrow you will have less time to repent in tomorrow you will have more sandwiches and tomorrow you will have a harder hard to repent. When wherefore if you are not your heart. What was mistake that Felix made by convenience will come, that conviction will continue that conflict will cease tomorrow. He just simply puts it all.

He's hoping that tomorrow is going to be the time to come to the Lord. It will not be so. George Debbie Truitt was one of the greatest preachers. The Southern Baptists have ever known. He was a pastor. The right first Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. One time an evangelism conference in Florida. George Debbie Truitt told what happened when he was a youngster in his town where he was. They had a revival meeting a preacher came in preach, a priest in the daytime and the little school at night time. He preached in the church when I preacher priest George Truitt gave his heart to Jesus Christ was saved. George set in school by a boy next to him in the classroom and George to let him know what happened in his heart and said to that youngster, I want you to come to the service tonight. The boy said to him, not tonight. George later. Joshua went to the service.

The little boarding come school the next day George Truitt on his way home stop by the house to see what happened to his best friend. His mother said he sent so I kept them in the next day George went by his mother said we think he has pneumonia.

The next day when George Truitt went by they said he has double pneumonia. The next day when Joyce sure went by the same mother said the doctor says he's dying. If you want to see them alive, you may come in, Joyce Truitt said he went into that room to see his boyhood chum is always there in the bed. There was a fever and the sickness, the weakness, but he was moving his lips. Joyce said I know he was trying to say something to me and this is what he was saying. Not tonight George tomorrow.

That's all he said over and over and over again. I sent in all he could say is not tonight. George Truitt said I left that room determine that I would urge people to come to Jesus while he could. The Holy Ghost says today.

God says today he experienced says today. This preacher says come to Jesus today.

It's as simple as that. Come to Jesus.

Don't put off salvation for one more moment surrender your life right now pray something like this. If you mean it got. I give you all that I am, I give that to you.

I surrender my life to you because I can't be good enough to get to heaven. But Jesus died on the cross for me. I believe that he gave himself for me. So I receive the gift of salvation your offering. I proclaim Jesus Lord right now.
