Well first of all, Nicodemus was born into the natural world birth like all of us had a bird, I'm so glad that God uses the illustration of the birth of salvation because that's something universal that's something we all know something about. But Jesus is saying Nicodemus, one birth for you is not enough. There is something deficient in your natural birth.

Now Nicodemus was born into the natural world and he was bound.

Listen, he was bound to the sinful world. He was born with a sinful nature.

I want you to jot these verses down some 51 verse five the prophet David said, behold, I was shaken in iniquity shape and in iniquity, and sin did my mother conceive me made me that his mother was in an adulterous relationship when he was conceived by what he meant was I had a sinful nature. The moment I was conceived I was shape in iniquity give you this.

Verse Ephesians chapter 2 in verse three.

The Bible says there we are by nature the children of wrath that is real born with a sinful nature, that sweet little baby that was born into your house. That little child is born with a depraved sinful nature.
