And then we come to our text for this message and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

I thank God for the note of victory that this prayer incident and I'm speaking today on the subject. Victoria's prayer these are treacherous and dangerous days in which we live and try to bring up our children. We used to think of the old time days on the frontier is dangerous days, but it is far more dangerous for child on the streets of Memphis, Tennessee than it ever was on the frontier. I will but I am the muggers the rapist that stalked the streets of America worse than wind and snow and ice and sun and drought is the all pervading humanistic philosophy that would invade the minds and freeze the hearts and dry the spirit of our young people and we need today in these dangerous days to learn how to pray to get hold of God because we have an enemy and he is the evil one when our Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray deliver us from evil. Actually that may be translated deliver us from the evil one. We are up against the organized, mobilized, demonize forces of hell, we have a deadly enemy. The message today is an alarm.

It is a call to arms God's alarm clock has gone off in America. If you can hear your death, God's alarm clock has gone off in America and we dare not push the snooze button and roll over for a few more weeks. It is time to wake up, get up, dress up and begin to go to war and we must learn to pray warfare is prayer warfare is prayer. Three things as we look at this verse I want you to see. First of all I want you to see the sinister person of evil, the sinister person of the now look at the verse again verse 13 deliver us from evil. Weymouth translates that deliver us from the evil one. It speaks of Satan as Satan don't want you to understand what I'm about to tell you is always been Satan's method to pull the veil of darkness over his kingdom, to hide behind a veil of lies on a masquerade in some disguise, but by the Holy Spirit. Today I want to rip away that mass and expose them for what you guys say we must recognize the person of evil.

He has a thousand heads, but he only has one. We wrestle against a person.

Now I want you to think not only that he is a person, but I want you to think that the position of this person that verse that I read to you in Ephesians chapter 6 and verse 12 says that he is a ruler of the darkness of this age is a ruler and thought of Satan as a ruler he rules over kingdom of fallen spirits. When Satan rebelled against God, and fell from heaven myriads of angels fell with him in rebellion and so in Ephesians chapter 2 in verse two. He's called apprentice of the power of the air as apprentice, he rules over the kingdoms of this world as a matter fact he offered to get those kingdoms to Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ never disputed his power or his authority to give those kingdom. He offered those kingdoms to Christ. Christ review because the Lord Jesus knew that one day the kingdoms of this world would become. They are not yet but they will become the kingdoms of our Lord and his Christ. You know what the devil is doing now he is moving the nations of this world like checkers on the checkerboard toward Armageddon. But the Scripture down Revelation chapter 16 in verse 14.

The apostle John had a vision he saw something happening. He wanted to know what it was. And here's what God said these are the spirits of the demon working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world and that includes the United States to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty demon spirits are working in the hearts and minds of world leaders to bring them to Armageddon. That's the reason the Bible calls Satan the god of this age.

G a little G second Corinthians 44 in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, we have a generation that walks in darkness because they have been blinded by the dark Prince. His great desire is great desire is to be worshiped as the god of this age and therefore he has developed a system that is an exact counterfeit of Christianity, the devil is not against religion is his chief to using religion to his ear. Think not only this person think not only of his position but think of his power only ignorant scoffs at the power of the devil.

It is sheer folly to underestimate his power. That's the reason the Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray for us, deliver us from the evil one acts chapter 26 verse 18 speaks of the power of Satan.

Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12 says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers.

Satan is a supernatural person. He has supernatural power.

Satan is a traitor.

He is an open revolt against Almighty God. He was lifted up with pride and decided that he wanted to be like the most time. His original name was Lucifer, that's an ugly named us today but was once a beautiful name it means light bearer, but Isaiah chapter 14 verse 12 says how art thou fallen from heaven all Lucifer, son of the moon thou cut down to the ground which this weakens the nations what thou hast said in my heart I will ascended to heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God.

Your adversary has a plan to ruin your life and your family the wiles of the devil.

Second Corinthians chapter 2 in verse 11. The Bible speaks of the devices of the devil. Second Timothy chapter 2 in verse 26 the Bible speaks of the snares of the death put those words together, wiles devices, snares lie Bible prophesies that in the last days there will be a great resurgence of demonic activity that's one of the reasons that I believe that we living in the last days, and what are some of these are things that are demonic resurgence that we will see in the last days. For example, spiritualism, new ages, first John chapter 4 verse one beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets are going out into the world. Leviticus chapter 19 verse 31 regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them to be filed by them.

I am the Lord your God. Deuteronomy chapter 18 verses nine and following. When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God giveth the thou shalt not learn to do after the nation of those nations that shall not be found among you any that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire they were sacrificing the children to demonic dogs were sacrificing our children today on the altar of abortion or he that use of divination.

That's a fortuneteller or an observer of times that's astrology or an enchanter or a witch or a charmer or a consultant with familiar spirits or a wizard, or a necromancer. Listen to this.

All these things are an abomination to the Lord and because of these abominations the Lord thy God drive them out from before the baby is this the end of the nation. It's the right of the nation. With these things come, thou shall be perfect with the Lord thy God will these nations which thou shalt possess parking unto observers of time and into diviners but as for the the Lord thy God had not suffered the to do so. What's his plan to deceive people. Number one through spiritualism, number two, through drug abuse.

Why do you think that we have an epidemic of drug abuse because we have an epidemic of demonic activity in the Bible teaches that in the last days there will be a plethora of drug abuse. Where is the true faith.

Today the Bible says in first Timothy chapter 4 and verse one now the Spirit is speaking of the Holy Spirit, speaketh expressly, that means pay attention. The Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the fate the faith, not a faith, the faith is only one how do they do that, he says, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons.

When you look for the devil never fail to look in the pulpit. Satan uses religion. The Bible speaks of the ministers of Satan. The sacrifices the demons doctrines of demons, the synagogue of Satan.

Again, I want to say that religion is one of his chief to another way that Satan has invaded this day, this age and will want to capture the hearts and minds of your children. My children, our grandchildren is through the entertainment and the media system is an angel of light is an angel of music and he is hideously beautiful. He is brilliantly stupid and it seems that in the media. Today we have reached the very bottom of the garbage. It is absolutely sickening.

First of all, therefore, if you would have victory. Lest we fall into temptation. Deliver us from the powerful reminder that in these dangerous days, we don't have to be afraid. We can stand upon this victorious prayer.
