The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network to access the big obvious question to what extent, if any, should Christians be involved in the culture wars for the light a fire with your host scholar and cultural commentator Dr. Michael Brown your voice for more nationality and spiritual clarity called 866-34-TRUTH to get on the line of fire and now there's your host Dr. Michael Brown times over the years relevant. It's so on the table.

It's so important that we are we are revisiting it today. Should we should we as followers of Jesus be involved in the culture wars by which I mean the volatile cultural battles of the day the battle over abortion, the battle over family.

The battle over LGBT Q plus activism. The battle over racism.

Should we be involved as followers of Jesus, is there a way to do it that glorifies the Lord is there way to do it. That is in keeping with our call to be disciples or is it always a distraction from the gospel is a divide over secondary issues and pull us away from preaching Jesus to the lost.

Does it put God in a particular political camp. Can we do this, but separate from politics, to what extent should we be involved out some might clearly be called by God to involvement in certain specific ways, but your average believer. Your average church or average minister of the gospel. To what extent should we be involved in the culture wars. Is it simply a matter of prayer is adjustment of loving our neighbor without getting into this 866-34-TRUTH welcome to the broadcast Michael Brown serving as your voice moral sanity and spiritual clarity here every day to infused with faith and truth.

Encourage one of the CU healthy, thriving standing firm in the Lord with your equip you, help you strengthen you. 866-348-7884. What's your take. Either way, here's what's really interesting. By the way, we should have time for the call. So if you have any other subject. One of bring up to me, however off-topic it may be a certain point. The broadcast will probably shift start addressing your questions calls the subjects if everybody wants to talk about this will do it for the hour, but if we shifted a certain point, other topics come up that we want to switch to great, so you can call now and then we'll get to the cause of the 1-866-348-7884. Now, I wrote a book that is due out in September of this year really excited about it called the political seduction of the church help millions of American Christians confuse the gospel with politics. I did not write the book to be popular. I did not write the book to make money. I did not write the book to increase my following quite the contrary, this book will be controversial to many, but I'm convicted that what I wrote is honoring the Lord is best understand in harmony with the word will let God and the readers judge but I've been thinking about this topic a lot in writing this book and researching for this book. So this throughout September. The book I'm currently writing now this throughout. In March 2023 asked the question as to why so many Christians have left the faith and deals with the whole issue of deconstructionism as people are deconstructing it deconstructing question what they believe and you know it's really fascinating really really fascinating is that there are people, especially young people who left the church because the church got way to political way to political, especially white evangelical churches identify with Donald Trump. Turn them off, made them seem insensitive, bigoted and even racist to some, and they left like I'm not here for this or if it wasn't the church preaching it specifically. It was other evangelical leaders on conservative news standing up for the president cemented to preach the president were there preaching the gospel as it seems to me or was the social media pages of Christians and they are turned off and they walked out like I am here for politics near the gospel. Conversely conversely, there were others who said you're not talking about politics enough where were you and George Lord was killed. Where were you in the BLM movement was rising. Why were you so some so there people have left the church because the church was to political and there are others who left the church because the church wasn't political enough and one of my friends pastors a multiracial church but 1200 people equally divided between black, white and Hispanic and they been in harmony through the years with understanding and learning from each other and an even different song selection is more suitable for diverse congregation so the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd pastor sought to address issues with sensitivity. There were white families in particular to families where the husband was a cop and they felt offended by the way he handled it left there were black families who were furthered by the way he handled left social what you make of that. And historically black churches because of their history in America because of the system of slavery and segregation and oppression that was there largely united the cause of the gospel with the cause of justice very obviously so emerging politics of the gospel was more common in black circles and white circles and and and in any case, it's a very challenging thing to navigate, so I want to think about this from it. All right. But first I politics.

Let's please put aside first Republican Democrat Trump Biden was put that aside right. Let's just talk issues. Let's say you live in the 1850s America right your passionate follower of Jesus, you are the Scriptures you see the horror of the African slave trade. Even though new slaves are not being brought into America now could not be brought into America you got the slavery system got much of the economy running on the back of the slavery system and you've got active slaveowners throughout the South. Many of them Christian right something generally Christian, but obviously completely wrong here.

It happens it happens there Christians today that are generally Christian, but their dead wrong on abortion. It can happen. Many of us have more blind spots than we realize. So how can it happen. That's the question, but it does happen, it does happen. So if you're living in the 1850s. You can tell me is a follower of Jesus, it will be should be involved in the slavery. It's too volatile and after all, if we make that a major point in our message or a subdivision of what were saying. Even if a second or third or fourth point if we stand for this. Then people you divide over and lose people were leaving to Jesus nor divide over slavery just too volatile it with the overtime little by little little little Google whale be abolished was just focus on making people and disciples, but held what the disciples do the great commission is to go and make disciples of the nations.

But what do disciples do want disciples called to be the salt of the earth. In light of the world are disciples called to stand for justice doesn't loving my neighbor as myself, require me to do something with my neighbors being unjustly oppressed by the system and of the Christians running into that system doesn't call for that the same principles that you have from Jesus, and then in first John and then Jacob James that if you if you see your brother in need, and you have the ability to help with that. Need and you walk away. Where's the love of God in you, how you love your neighbor as yourself. Be thou warmed and filled, when you go in abundance and in your refrigerator mother son love suggests the love of God would require us to take action right now becomes to the election of Abraham Lincoln and the entities run against Douglas. Some of the candidates was Republican. The antislavery party and Democrat. The slavery part right is Lincoln the antislavery candidate and Douglas in the north, the slavery candidate.

So that's a couple of the candidates is run against.

So that's the battle that's the battle you come you're not going to get involved politically. You tell me you're not gonna vote for Lincoln versus Douglas you you tell me that in your churches. This can be no talk about this simply was slavery today or this past weekend. Both places restful Dallas than Tampa or Tyler Texas event in Tampa. Both places were spoke, I was asked to address LGBT cumulative issues and and tomorrow night in North Carolina. I'm scheduled to do Q&A the church where they want to talk about LB LGBT Jewishness, but they also want to talk about CRT critical race theory. There was talk about intersection Valley is this the world we live in because kids go to school and dealing with this because run social meeting dealing with this is your being bombarded by the media and do this because each of the parties is very different platforms on these issues and we been talking about abortion day and night, especially since the overturning of Roe V Wade on Friday writes feels good to say that does that. But of course we are because were followers of Jesus. How could we not talk about these things and yet there's a way to do it. That is gospel first flowing into justice because of the gospel. We stand for what's right because of our love for Jesus. We love our neighbor because we are people of the light we expose the darkness versus these are permit primarily partisan political issues and we can divide over politics and working to get into the same political spirit of name-calling and carnality and divisiveness. Two very different things and I've said this before Allstate again because the pastor of the local church. That was my primary calling or even more if was primarily an evangelist just reaching the lost. I will talk about these issues less than I do this as part of my specific calling to talk about them as much as I do. As a talk radio host as an op-ed writer is someone called by God to advocate for revival in the church and gospel based moral cultural revolution in society and also as someone called by God to have a prophetic side to me. A prophetic part of me which is calling for repentance, for the church to wake up and confronting the culture with its sent and and and many have that as part of their their calling part of who they are in in the Lord right so this is part of what God's call to do any gaming commission, 2004 articulated nearly 2005. Reach out and resist reach out to the gay community with compassion reach resist the agenda with courage. This is been a specific part of my call in and to equip the body to help equip the body to deal with these things. But as I was interacting with pastor Andy Stanley recently and he plans to come on my show talk about his new book, not in it to win it a lot I love about the book quartzite a different strongly but a lot I love about the book is is calling the church to get away from partisan politics and focus on the great commission, but I was sent in euros of what we do and I am waiting, you know, get on the air. Will talk about what we do if we soak it when I can fight the cultural's politically but on the pastor level. This is the roller people live in their deal with these things the kids the grandkids are every single day. Surely we must address them together by which you take what your take, take my helping you by talking about these things by writing about the basic 634-8784 line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown thank you so much, get healthy, physically and spiritually. Check out these great health supplements, vitamin mission.calm hate even if Dr. Singh was not a sponsor of us give you a discount and then donating to our ministry. This is vitamin mission.com. Lots of great stuff there and stuff of use for years myself, 866-34-TRUTH of the phones momentarily, but let me say this. Over the years I've posted questions on social media and I've said I know what God's called me to do. I'm not asking for your opinion telling me what you think I should do. I know what God's called me to do. I'm submitted to God and interaction with other leaders and in the body. I have my number one critic on hand 24 seven.

My bride and I know what God's called me to do this is no question that a bone in my body. Questions God's called me to do I need to press into him even more know him.

Even better, and serve him even more effectively, and he may change many things in the over the years but but I know that I know that I know this called me to do what I'm doing now and it's it is teaching and training people for ministry in different schools. It is constant prayer resources for Jewish outreach and in interacting with a Jewish community itself. It it it is about writing books that are informative on doctrinal issues and commentaries but is also rocking the boat tackling the controversies dealing with cultural issues. I know that but what I've asked on social media sometimes and sometimes on radio.

Is this helpful to you from your perspective. Would you rather those just teaching the Bible and not intersecting with these things or bring the word of God into intersection with the culture I want no how it's affecting you.

I know because called Medo not asking your opinion that sledges in different I'm asking from your perspective you find this beneficial. The last time I asked that when I last checked to see because I had looked at in the few years.

There are over 3000 comments among social media page long.

Responding and they were doubly encouraging say please do please do not enough to please do some weeks ago couple months ago I rediscovered that that thread assert really comments it was was devastating. The goodwill at home. Why is meeting in the wow I'm a new, but I was so encouraged by the invitations. I committed the questions that come are constantly can you help us can help a church with this one because again, this is the world we live put politics aside, put partisan politics aside completely. I did, I would be great with this. If the people who visit your church unless they happen to look at like a values voter God that you that you distribute around election time seekers of the candidates stand on different issues right or they heard you preach on a certain subject, by which they did tell you probably felt the lowest it be great if they have no clue how you vote. They have no clue in your church, what the demographics are how many vote this way, how many vote that way.

That would be great with me, but they should understand what we stand on the issues are to the phones.

866-34-TRUTH and I love it when people differ with me.

I welcome it. I love constructive dialogue debate.

I love it. So if you think I'm wrong here or off track or have a different view over the church instead. Please give me a call as well. Right. Let's start in with Nikki in Portland Oregon butcher take on all this. Dr. Brown on everywhere in.

My take me. I think that we are in a culture. However, I will want a copy yet not. I don't have everyone called that not every Christian may not be made not have that gap Inc. may not be called holy start that for me.

I am called in at back that's what I do not get keep different don't have to use that I get into a lot of discussions with other questions you think that we shouldn't be involved in which Amy involved in Jason's book about politics that I understand that but how you help what what alternative is anarchy don't I just don't understand it though. I'm with you on that I agree with you and I and I strongly agree with you conductor my gift that there may be some other questions that you know that's not what the called you know I don't one way or another. I think what the gift but we can given by the Holy Spirit must do, really (June 20 think about that will teach you things. One is that yes there are different callings for different individuals. We have to give ourselves to those callings in honor those with different callings and not compare ourselves to ourselves or judge each other by ourselves.

The other side is that in general, all believers are called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world and therefore in some of let's even leave out the word political on some level will engage the culture that is an inevitability salt of the earth and light of the world.

I thank you Nikki for the call 866-348-7884.

Let's go to Jesse in Twin Cities, Minnesota. Thanks for: the line of fire. I cricket my color dark brown welcome so I wanted to somewhat agree with you that along with the last car that everyone has a different calling and I think a patch is calling is really to preach doctrine. As you know many millennial think the Holy Spirit for that you, God is good future and is completely ignorant of the gospel and then so I think there is proneness to error on politics will believe the gospel out of the equation and I think that's what I think the role of the pastor is, of course, they have people with their problems and things like that to I and that may overlap with cultural issues, but I and I just wanted to say I I totally understand about your calling that you have a calling to speak into the culture like that but I don't know if I necessarily see that the same weight for the past yeah so so Jesse thanks for the comments below. The pastor, the local church has a lot of responsibilities to nurture the flock to see that believers are healthy, grounded in the fundamentals of the faith of the have to develop ministry for children they have to develop ministry for singles. They have to be equipped to counsel couples they wanted be making a positive impact in their community there.

There may be some needs that arise after some some hurricane or flood, and they want to be there. Hey, we've got food or we've got essentials for you here and and then they want to be reaching out to the lost. So this is just part of the life of of the body right now, your average pastor cannot vote the time that I've devoted to studying say LGBT to related issues or be talking as much about pro-life issues. As we been talking as much again it's it's it's a relative thing. I do believe that over the course of a year that that the body should be equipped and he may have a month okay this is our cultural emphasis month right in and you get the body sensitized issues of race that are dividing America or you say hey Lotta folks are dealing with issues about you. You got a gay friend, should you go to a same-sex wedding. What happens when your own kid identifies transgender so that's where we then bring in the resources for them right. But if if I was here and it will go one step further suggested to interact because were were in agreement on this so if if I was primarily an evangelist that was my calling in the evangelist that I know you are really evangelists me whatever room you put them in for whatever reason are you give an altar call for lost if you put them in a room with the bit of the leading mega church pastors in America, there to give a call to laws deceived by the member is not really save them. It is they're doing a wedding there doing a funeral there and there's an opening prayer of baseball game where there is a recall for the lost because that's what evangelist do you want to have a lot of other things associated with your message.

Don't say you don't want all your tribes, to borrow your body supporter will wait wait wait wait you work. You were so vocal about this gay legislation in your city or you you were leaving the, the, the pro-abortion whether it exceeds the pro-life cause and okay so here's the deal. I would agree that those are righteous causes some of some of the things that I mentioned arbitrary examples of the laws, but now that you're associated with that. You can't speak about, but it has to be so subservient to your gospel message. So, for example, preterm LGBT few issues you're reaching out to that community. Right. I was called first resist the agenda and then as God broke my heart for the people reach out to the peoples of the church is doing both. But there are some churches. The whole thing a major on his reaching out, reaching out, reaching out to LGBT community and the church building, they major on is resisting the agenda and both are fulfilling a calling but the ones reaching out to take a stand. Also for what is right. Let the ones taking a stand. Also be compassionate to the lost us the both and calling but some of us be called to do one thing more than other could be a race issue could be something else that is all the flow out of our relationship with Jesus and let it not evolve into politics is little politics is not the world of the kingdom of God. Intersect with enough same with your back to the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown boy to know that you're getting my emails yet that that would really give me joy because I know you benefit every week you'll get an update here the latest articles that I wrote a here are the latest videos that we put out about to send out an email with all the details about our our next trip to Israel gobbling the second half of May with the second half of of May 2023. Truth is number to call let us go to Gloria in Austin, Texas. Welcome to the line of fire and yes if you talking right in the phone that's the best of also go ahead and I will not know how while you are about the way I do hope Dr. Rowe wait.

I've only lost but I never like a pro-life might go out of date and are no pro-life… Oh I actually morality that we have a point where we might think you know, not on the right day and made an and another group of people they become and I idea that you know I did not… The problem at hand and not like a lot of young lady in my company.

I felt about you and Mary and coming together actually younger I would make a lot of you out for sure. Just jumping for second for sure there there there are larger cultural issues right there actually are larger cultural issues.

The problem is insured agrees that it still comes down to was right to take the innocent life of the baby's right to punish the baby because the mistakes that were made by the mother or the father of the baby or that were imposed on the things that were done, she didn't want done. As terrible as it may be, is it right to punish the baby and is that a human being in there and what happens to the larger culture will be become a culture of of death and abortion assist normal part of life and limit me through this. One of the thing before I go to another call, but the thank you, thank you for calling one of the thought and we were just chatting before the show about this silver team it is you, you corrupt today's young woman right sort think of our granddaughters, their 21 and 15 so they grew up. Nothing they've grown up in a different environment than the typical world environment, but they've grown up in a world in which abortion is always been here. While think of our daughters were born in 1977, 1978, abortion was ready, the law of the land then and then think of Nancy who and when role became law was maybe 18 years old right so that was normal. That is normal a life so people grown up is understandable why it was summer it is terrible what what is a fundamental right. This will we as the church. After that's when a debate with them or say well your crazy cause a baby's life the way it all worked out though reach out reach out communicate with you, hate, hate, glory. Thank you for weighing in. I appreciated by the way, check out my latest article on the stream stream.org described on the stream stream.org will God send rain on pro-life states and withhold it from pro-abortion states is God going to make a distinction over that and are there other issues important to the world so that must be brought into the equation so check that article out it will get you thinking we go to Lori in New York City. Welcome to the line of fire hi how are you doing very well thank you.

Yes I have a couple of comments by it. It really does have to do with the well you know deep issues Mimi, treat them all separately, is not and not really as a them of the greater evil and I really think it has the name and I think it is socialism. It communism a lot of things that are characteristic of both types of regime and I really believe that it is a panic. It is in. They basically Satan manifesting himself in our culture and in on people are talking about politics it's like you know everything is political for the left everything your whole entire life. Christianity is now political. If you if you called it Christian value. You can't get away from politics at this point I want to tell you like a little a little story. A friend of mine who's very much on the left. Basically enough but saying how we should be like other civilized country and with the healthcare and in all the other stuff other civilized country and then shortly thereafter that I was reading in first Samuel where God is talking to Samuel because I don't believe Israel wants a king like the other nations. Yeah, I met with Annette that line jumped out at me at we want to be like other nation and you know suggested to me, this is definitely something that is an ancient spiritual thing that is in our culture and it's not even just in the culture at large and I've heard you have heard other teachers in the church yeah and in my third visit.

This is a mindset of world the mindset rather than the church renewing its mind by the word, the church often comes like the world is trying to have relevance or what often happens in our elite institutions of learning or Christian colleges, universities, and seminaries that we end up trying to show how woke and enlightened. We are, which is my sense of the world. Look, we think like you think. Also, as we should. Antonio radically different feeling and let last lesson just to say this, there are those that like Dennis Prager make a distinction between the left and liberals and the left. He and others would very much join often with with a socialist communist way of thinking and it is interesting that you read these documents which sums the richest propaganda documents in the 50s but others said no.

This is communist agenda and one thing was how homosexual activists will change America and so on so forth. But we also remember that America is just another country in this world. It may have certain origins, but have much stronger Jewish Christian roots are Judeo-Christian roots and at the same time some real deep sin and problems from our foundation were just another country. In this role, theirs were not the covenant nation was one covenant nation Israel and Israel's call to the Messiah to be a light to the world. Israel today yes I believe brought back to Lem by God, but in many ways, and sin of disobedience to God in America is just part of the world, like China, like Russia, like Mexico I Canada and within America.

The body of believers and we are part of the Eckley see that the congregation that the messianic assembly to church. We are part of that with other believers worldwide, but America is just part of the world and that's what we always have to remember I thank you for for weighing in appreciated 866-34-TRUTH. Let's go to Robert in Mountain home Texas. Welcome to the line of fire.

Dark brown seem to always be fighting the battle with a 40 years ago in the pro-life movement. What came to live with all the activity about elders and why work using abortifacient birth control and I did the math in the report, abortifacient mode or abortions taking place within the organization. The churches and what was going on at Planned Parenthood.

What what extent what specifically what type of birth control. He talked about abortifacient birth control.

How accurate you know that was 40 years ago all the ones that were available not just with what was what was available now.

I think the appeal was one you know that I can't remember all the good but none none of those are the loser. Those are contraceptive devices which many Christians would object to many Catholics with objective but they're not there. They're not causing abortions well verify that the conception take quite the conception of those conception takes place than those have failed to do the job. So that's that that's a whole other debate. The debate about contraception. Clarence Thomas is a lot of people very concerned because he say we have to revisit the slick revisited row those bad precedent. We have to revisit a bridge or felt this redefining of vouchers. I agree on this is bad decision and we have to revisit the layout of the permitting of contraception which I don't believe is in that same class, and Justice Alito said no, those are separate issues. Anyway, this has to do with potential life but you can say there is hypocrisy because contraception, birth control is being used by pro-life leaders and churches, non-Catholic, you could argue that there is not a profession for not causing abortions. Thank you for weighing in every line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown 148663487884 friends.

Everyone has distinct callings. Everyone has the same general calling. In other words, as followers of Jesus we are all called to glorify God. We are all called to love God and love our neighbor as yourself. We are all called to be salt of the earth. In light of the world which were justified in many different ways but not everyone is called to do with the same way the arm does something different than than the leg.

The eye something different than the ear we have to do is unite in our diversity to do the will of God is, as I said that my hands especially k.d. lang class flats. That's the body.

Working together in complex mechanism right we unite as as one in our diversity, but we do not compromise the standards of God as we don't unite with sin. We don't yet with compromise and sometimes kill" the Methodist preacher, W. E. Sangster great quote that I first read in Leonard Ravenhill's why revival tarries.

How shall I feel that the judgment of multitudes of missed opportunities pass before me in full right and all my excuses proved to be disguises of my cowardice and pride.

The guy that almost exactly rush so we also not making excuses why some eye calling a lot of things were called to do that we don't like to do things were called to do that are unpleasant, but things were called to do that are difficult last some eye calling Grace to do that by which I mean I don't feel like, or it's hard on my flesh I live grace to fast today.

Meaning I would rather eat I've done that, you feel more that meaning pressed her brother for this confrontation, but when you're walking with the Lord and to the best of your knowledge you have surrendered to him to the best of your knowledge would appear to please you honor you, glorify you, whatever the cost with the consequence we all know Paul's words in Philippians 121 for me to live is Christ to die is gain receivers before that was at something. He was just sharing because diagnosed with sickness and hate for me to live is Christ eyes get many of quoted that and that when you apply it in a life-giving way. That's fine, but was he saying he's in prison does not deliver dogs to be martyred or not. It seems that is giving them a choice and he says in verse 20 Philippians 1. I eagerly expect and hope that I will be in no way ashamed, but will have sufficient courage to that now. As always Christ will be exalted in my body whether by life or by death for live is Christ, the dies gain that is gospel 101. You died Colossians 3 in your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Six Corinthians 5 was posted in verse 15 when we realize that Jesus died for. We conclude that all died and that we no longer live for ourselves but for him who died for us and rose from the dead, here I am Lord, send me. That's gospel 101. We pray prayers like that so often during the Browns revival with her students at the Brown's revival school of ministry that they started putting up bumper stickers made at the school slogan by life or by death. This is how we honor the Lord not to take the lives of others, but to give our lives for others is a restart. If the Lord has us do something uncomfortable, so be it. We belong to him that we were ready put your blood. Everything else is minor. Thereafter, with the help and grace of God at the same time without out to be troublemakers were not out to two fight meanness with meanness and anger with anger and force with force this on who we are when people revile us. We bless them when they mock us. We pray for them when they persecuted us. We we asked the Lord to touch them. That's how we fight our battles we overcome evil with good overcome hatred with love will become truth with lies.

One of the most reproachful things about was happened to so many of us in recent years has become so politicized that our social media pages will post a Bible verse one day and then a link to beautiful worship song. The next day and then then the day after that. Some mocking political meme. Here's a picture mocking Donald Trump as being fat here some picture mocking Joe Biden's mental capacities and so on so forth.

What that when we doing Jacob James III chapter with with with our voice would we bless God we curse people. What is how does the site glorify the Lord drives people away now to talk about Jesus is Jesus plus I'm a Republican or Jesus. Plus I'm a Democrat or Jesus plus on for Trump or Jesus plus I guess Trump and that becomes her definition know we can have our political involvement. We can speak to things but Jesus is Jesus. Let's not drag him down with other things is I have about your prayer prayer life at all righteous issues is different than political affiliation defending the life of the unborn is different than defending a political party life of the child's preciousness of a political party is flawed. Love corruption and even if I agree with one party more. The other right back to the phones. Let's go to cage in Louisiana. Thanks for holding welcome to the line of fire. Hey. Dear Dr. Michael Brown, I just wanted to give Mike take on should be in culture war specifically about after I think with politics and culture. Yeah a million percent and more right now we have to freaking fine on it.

If the big issue of the day were what kind of renewable energy review or a Keystone pipeline maybe not, but the issues are sexual immorality and the murder of children. Though obviously yes a thousand times yes To be preaching on the big end of the day is an example we see of the prophet of Jesus of Paul's letter. The big issues then in any given day or what were supposed be calling out to me and calling people to repentance over and I'm an evangelist. When I go out I don't if they repent, apply, I lift long list of things like even if you look block even if you did that because you have to extend it to everyone so that you don't have the man living in actuality they okay will give up lying and doing what apartment.

Having abortion thing okay I'll give up cursing and gluttony today. We have to preach on the whole wide range of issues. This is the example in the Bible, and if not, would have unrepented people in the church. It's okay. Will said I will absolutely well said wonderfully said clearly said biblically said that when Paul is laying out list of sins for the body and see if you do this you will inherit the kingdom of God will now you're preaching to the lost incentives: to repentance and and you're going to address things, especially the elephants in the room. The key thing is this, can you do that without making making it a partisan political issue and answers yes. In other words, you can preach against sin and I don't know if you vote Republican, Democrat, independent libertarian, or not at all because it was about politics.

You can preach against sin and call us out for being politically consumed. So I think the the line make its cross cage is one we we take preach against sin and the one party happens to agree with more of our moral standards than the other and now we become known politically. So I would say amen Jordan, preaching a amen to evangelist preaching. This is as part of what route were not making a not making general statements about cultural issues were talk about sins that people are committing in the culture, which they have to give account to God individually were doing it corporately were doing it and to not address it is to be responsible and to be missing. Lots of things that are going on, but Kate, you believe you can do that without being known as a politically partisan political evangelist.

Yeah, I deftly think that 100% possible, and you never have to mention a name or political party, then and Baltic pop in the thumb of mine when you're doing it because it's an issue of the day, you can't really control what you can says look I'm not talking Trump by the not talking Republican, Democrat, I'm talking you God. Sin right is what we we disabled without talking about so when I said if I was an evangelist. I wouldn't do what I do, I wouldn't major audit is much as I do, because there's so many other issues of sin and brokenness of major audit by by divine calling and to equip the body in these areas but absolutely when you're dealing with sin. Sin is sin. When you're dealing with disobedience and kid. We know that there's so many women who have abortions and are heard and I told one of Anne's assisted bro what you said about abortion was absolutely right on. But you failed to say there is mercy here what you talk about the horror of the sin and he was talking mainly to believers in this meeting with the vans assisted bro, you didn't preach the mercy of God and forgiveness through the cross of I believe that many of the women that are angry and raging anger raging because the hurting on the inside and that we become the enemy, and red and yellow. What would you send this week.

At this conflict and this don't yell at me as a conflict inside of you. So yes yes yes or a major call a mentor what you're doing. Amen to the way that you said it. I appreciated and stand with you.

Keep going for the lost and glorifying Jesus will friends. Thanks for the calls. Thanks for the input. Thanks for the interaction.
