We called to be peacemakers or troublemakers. Time for the line of fire with your host biblical scholar and cultural commentator Dr. Michael Brown your voice for more insanity and spiritual clarity.

Call 866-34-TRUTH to get on the line of fire and now there's your host Dr. Michael Brown to have an eye opening word-based broadcast today will look at some important scriptures asked some challenging questions and hopefully take each of us deeper in obedience to the Lord this is Michael Brown great to be with you today here to infusion with faith and truth and courage so you can stand strong in the Lord, I will come back to that courage, word in a moment, but had a very candid conversation yesterday with Pastor Greg walk.

Hopefully you were able to hear the broadcast.

If you missed it. Of course on the website Esther to Brown.org, or you ever get our podcast. You can listen to the broadcast or watch it afterwards.

If you have questions or comments about yesterday show, by all means give us a call 8663. Foray 7884 Allstate calls on other subjects.

Random subjects little bit later in the broadcast 866-34-TRUTH but one of the things that came out towards the end of the show was passed along said is 46 years old and he has a tension between the angry prophet and the pastoral Shepherd and how to bring those things together in a healthy way and perhaps I can be of help to him and that area or some very willing to be God opens the door and he desires it. By all means so the thing is many times we mistake fleshly anger or even our own indignation with the birds of the Lord, and sometimes the Lord does burden us and there is there's a holy outrage against sin in this destructive force and the question is how we present ourselves to the church how we present ourselves to the world we know that will be misunderstood. We know that will be hated for the gospel. If we walk in obedience to Jesus.

We will be hated right, that's understood the same world that hated him will hate us. John 1518 and following. He says if the world hate you remember it hated me first, and if the world knew God, then the world would love you, but because you are not of the world of culture out of the world there for the world can hatred seven Matthew 510 through 12 truly happy.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake. Theirs is the King of heaven, blessed truly happy or are you when you were reviled when you're spoken against. When you're lied about because of me. Jesus says rejoice in that day. This is a theme throughout the gospel. Second Timothy 312, Paul says take off several of his persecutions, but not only me, everyone who was a godly life in Messiah Jesus will suffer persecution. The world is going to hate us and we will be called troublemakers right I mean acts 17 Paul and his companions are are called the ones who turn the world upside down there accused of stirring riots, acts 16 Paul and Silas are whipped as troublemakers or they they Paul draws a demon out of a girl and and the the owners, the slaveowners lose their income because you can tell fortunes and things like that and more. There's an uproar over this is gonna happen to be hated were to be persecuted. We can be driven out to be cast out. In some parts the world is very real, living reality, ongoing ongoing is a real reality ongoing that they are suffering these very things simply because they are followers of Jesus. That's the way it's going to be the darkness will hate the light. The darkness will persecute the like. That's all true, Paul, and asked 24 when he's being accused by the Jewish leaders they citizen is a pestilence is a plague.

He disrupts places is a troublemaker. So I will not accused of being a troublemaker for the gospel.

What when I'm accused of the craziest things because the gospel I rejoice, I take it as a badge of honor. And if that's the case with you my brother, my sister, because of the gospel because of your identification with Jesus because of your following the master then rejoice. It may be painful rejection may stating there may be some real difficult, painful consequences, but praise God we rejoice. The world is treating us the way he treated Jesus. Acts 541.

The apostles left the Sanhedrin rejoice and they've just been flogged there been flogged can be pleasant.

They've just been flogged. They leave the Sanhedrin rejoice and why because they were counted worthy of suffering reproached for the name they are suffering the same way he suffered. Praise God.

What a privilege. At the same time. Jesus says this to us blessed, truly happy are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.

Peacemakers.

We should seek to be peacemakers sacredness five.

We are ambassadors of reconciliation. We go to a lost world and say be reconciled to God and and the wisdom that comes from Bob Lilly read this to really go to James Jacob. Chapter 3 Jacob chapter 3 and look at what is written at the end of this chapter James Jacob chapter 3 verse 13 who is wise and understanding among you by his good conduct, but him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast falls to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly on spiritual demonic forward jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice but the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere and a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. This should characterize us as much as it lies in us. Paul writes in Romans 12 your enemies hungry freedom of peace there is to give a cylindrically from Proverbs 25. Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good. Bless those who curse you he was 12 writes about as much as it lies in you, be at peace with all people, so this is the kind of wisdom we need to demonstrate not mimic the spine by God's grace I have sought to be gracious in my opposition to those I differ with eye of sought to be loving, kind and merciful.

While clearly speaking out against evil, and clearly laying down the line of this is right and this is wrong. Yes I'm hated for. Now I I'm not super popular among many cited sectors of the population they don't like me they hate my guts. They think I'm an evil, vile person. I'm not trying to escape the hatred aware that again is a badge of honor. Walt, my heart breaks for the people, but I would I would be shattered if they hated me because I acted like a jerk. I would be shattered if they hated me because I was obnoxious. I would be shattered if they hated me because I had a foul temper so let's take the reproach of the cross. But let's not bring reproach to the cross by RFL behavior during say this is this is some of the dialogue with Pastor Locke yesterday there were say. There there is a way to stand boldly and speak righteously and there's a way to do it in the flesh. Another important passage. Paul's writing to Timothy right especially for leaders. This is really really important. So second Timothy chapter 2, he says this second Timothy chapter 2 verse 24. Remember I'm a debater it's it's in my blood to debate raised in a home with with my dad is a senior lawyer in the New York Supreme Court and you and I might say, will they say who it was that he asked me Tuesday.

I would use what was there is no such word. Note that the challenge my thinking. My sister remember the sudden remembered as well, but my sister remembered him, putting subjects on the table for dinner for us to have these many debates over site I grew up in an environment and and I'm Jewish, New Yorker and occult apologetic so debating's in my blood is just it's natural for me that if if if use.

If you say X and I differ with you that my first thing is okay on the porch why those rather than the I'm just in my first reaction rather than getting make sure I understand you may open up your position better, please, please tell me why you feel this okay now here let me give some of us to think about my if I'm just in the flesh by minute response is wrong. Here's why. Boom okay that the liquid Paul writes here. Second Timothy chapter 2 beginning in verse 24 and the Lord's servant, leader must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach patiently enduring evil correcting his opponents with gentleness God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil after being captured by hand to do his will note there are different styles of ministry. Okay II can preach with passion and get you energized and I'm strong that there been a screamer. I was on a TV show with some of Angela's friends that there was a near where screamers are a lot those does their style. They operate so that that was his tooth that was their style is nothing wrong with it living right with it is just their style muscles different and obviously sitting on Mike doing radio is different than preach behind the pulpit lectionary lecturing a seminary class is different than doing outreach with no amplification in a village somewhere. Each setting is different in the world were wired differently from a different I'm not comparing styles. I'm not talking style okay I'm talking demeanor on talking attitude I'm talking who we are in God and I'm doing this for reason because what I see many times as we mistake boldness for natural aggression. We mistake courage for being dogmatic up.

This is a discussion of want to have for a while and it it's really constructive to have it after my talk with Pastor Locke yesterday with there are so many important points that were brought out in the midst of our discussion and with Pastor likely very humble in terms of his own presentation right so read this again. The Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach patiently enduring evil correcting his opponents with gentleness why this is, with the hope than that God will give them repentance that the term back 866-3420 take some calls on talking more about this courage issue.

Want to post some things I think you'll find very interesting. And then talk with you about Christians voting Republican Christians living Democrat that Mr. controversy was for a purpose you get my emails to get announcements from coming to your area. Click on emails sign up so we can stay in touch with you going to a regular basis. If the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH. Is Dr. Michael Brown. I was talking to my buddy John Cooper lead singer front man of skillet that you destroyed a moment ago which I will my book the silencing of the lambs.

If you don't have it yet, but we strongly encourage you to get it. I wish I could push a button and download the contents into you find it eye-opening stirring, disturbing, and yet full of fact filled Bible filled truths. Filled calls to courage and practical strategies to overcome tensile culture.

The time of the book and he said look a bottom line, the second half your book is basically and we opened it up.

If you save your life, you lose it, the words of Jesus. If you lose your life for the gospel you find so I work with the persecuted church in different parts of the world of dear friends regularly risk their lives for the gospel.

I've had the privilege of risky moment for the gospel. I mean that literally, not metaphorically, literally, for the privilege of doing that and I work with people who are subject to that on a regular basis is the sadness that is broadcast is probably about six by now could be higher.

People that we, personally, hands-on send out with people who work with different parts of the world that have not been martyred for the gospel in the next generation is ready to go out and later lost out. This is reality around the world.

The fact that we get the platforms on Facebook or we get unfriended or something they will reach as many as I can use these platforms put this on exactly persecution get unfriended on Facebook right so let's speak out this be bold.

But let us also be broken. Let us worn with tears. I the privilege of being very close with Leonard Ravenhill the last five years was life from 1989 to 1994 that is HB seven and sometimes he would preach. Remember meetings in January in Anaheim January 1990 with about 4000 4500 people present anything that was messaging can finish it there. People just on their faces, weeping and wailing all over the building. There's tremendous brokenness and anguish for what he preached. I got to know David Wilkerson. That is not as well as I got to the Berlin but I got to know David Wilkerson preach for him.

40 or 50 times from 91 to 95 and he was as prophetic commands. I knew it all. So there is this the steep brokenness. This anguish of spirit soar or boldness must come out of a brokenness are our strong proclamations must must lead. So to say that there there there must be that the cheers of intercession and the laying down of our laws and brokenness for others that will then produce the desired impact that we want 866-34-TRUTH I'm going to again return to the subject of courage and share some really interesting things. I think you find very eye-opening for some of the phones. Let's start with Jim in Atlanta, Georgia.

Welcome to the line of fire by Dr. Brown research Dykema call Revelation 1211. They overcame the only thing lightened by the blood of the oil and the word of their testimony. I've always took the word of their testimony. Money is people. Christians telling others what God is done for the member and their laugh believe don't hold me to this Dr. Michael Heiser one day talking about the one player there. We get this wrong but we misunderstand it, but he didn't go into detail while our file. I would like to know the word of their testimony. What do you think that is my second question right so if you think of it as their testimony in context is the testimony of Jesus the Messiah. So it's not so much. Here's what the Lord did in my life but I am testifying to who Jesus is. I'm testifying to him being the risen Savior, and the only one that can bring us to God, the one by whose blood, our sins are forgiven. So it's not so much a praise the Lord I have a testimony of how the Lord healed me last week that has a place and that's wonderful. But the word of their testimony here is the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 19 tells us that the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus and then tying him with what I've been talking about here, for they loved not their lives even to the point of death, that this is this is a key thing that we overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb by the word of our testimony so testimony who he is, yes, what is generalized but proclaiming who he is and by not living our lives, even to the point of death. That's how we overcome Satan so that would be. I imagine with Dr. Heiser would've said on that.

So that's with the passage is saying my will yes go ahead, go ahead.

The book of Revelation. Years ago I had somebody tell me that Catholic believe it is mostly full yield. My gift is that they believe that is the other persecutions in the crumbling of the Roman Empire was bought the book Revelation was going for, though I don't know that my question is, is that a small bowl nation, the more I read more intimate that their position is at least plausible. Yet this unsolicited Catholic position meaning only Catholics withhold to that resume that's that's the.

The historical view of the book of Revelation that many scholars hold to because it had to have context in the first century to the ones that were receiving it had to have relevance to them, but on another level, though, so you have to start reading it there what it mean to the people hearing it there right and is very relevant, though, in every generation. That's the next thing was to say to us to say to us in the in the midst of these life-and-death conflicts want to say to us in the midst of the Satanic attack was to say to us in the midst of persecution, opposition, so it speaks to us. I believe it also has special relevance to the last generation is Mina. Revelation 1920 2122 have not yet happened matter how you slice the cake. Jesus is not yet returned and set up his kingdom on the earth. I reject views. That's it were not in the new heavens and the new earth. So you start with what it said in the first century. How does it apply to every generation and was the special application.

Candidates check out Craig Keener's NIV application commentary on Revelation's was the NIV application commentary series. Check out his commentary on Revelation, I think you'll find it very helpful. Craig Keener KE NER vessels questions which are obviously relevant to what were talking about. That's why I brought it on here.

Let's go over to Austin in the Lyndale, Texas.

Welcome to the line of fire. The author sure by questionnaires on a related topic will boldness big and courageous. Karen Karen was coming to mind where the current business by Paul is old and weighty and demanding letters and then in person is the core humbler you know, as this is an insult. It's an insult that that his letters and his letters are bold, but his bodily presence as we can. There's nothing to speaking there there insulting him and there there saying all yeah big talker all big big talker but the guys nothing. Nothing to them once was a little guy and he knew this is little guy the frailties speak well of big no big talker so it's that is an insult as opposed to a pattern that were supposed to follow yet so that that's all it is not there. It's not say hey this is the pattern really really bold if you're not there then really really meek.

If you are there. We have to remember though, is very important is that you can't hear tone necessarily when you read something in many times you can post something in haste. I've done it and it doesn't communicate the way you wanted to communicate how can someone hear tears of from writing so I've got to write in a certain way.

Pray for the Lord's anointing and grace behind it and then write in a certain way that will that will minister to the person reading it that the bill hear my heart and not just the word say thank you for the call. I appreciate that. So let me come back to discourage topic for a moment. Some years back and try to think where we were is about 1215 years ago we had a meeting with our fire school of ministry staff and with our team from the different parts of a fire or church missions organization and we are really creative gal on our team and she asked everyone to take a Lego. She gave us each individual Lego and then it with indelible ink. You can write on it and double and kind write the one specific thing that you bring to the ministry into the organization so we all did it regardless of whether the person was a secretary answering phones was a faculty member or the president of the school as I was reach wrote songs. I was gonna write vision that's… Not the Senate for such unique thing I bring all the others bring vision as well and I do bring some vision and their notes that courage. Courage and and I realized it in the midst of financial challenges. We would often face the ministry challenges we face and difficulties in going against the grain and difficulties in having to stand for what was right when it cost you everything that that the special most unique thing that I brought is the leader of the ministry was courage and as Billy Graham said that that when a strongman takes a stand courageous man takes a stand and in the backbones of others or strength. So II know part of my role in the body is to help import courage and each one has their role right.

That's the beauty of the body and each one is needed. We depend on one another to beautiful expression of Jesus to the world but I know one of the things God's call me to do was import courage as I stand. It helps you stand as I speak out helps to speak out or you can simply share repeat will be passed on so when I say were here infusion with faith, truth, encourage I mean that from the heart may receive courage and strength and stand with boldness and grace mixed together, that we may glorify Jesus. Okay, we come back measures very interesting comments with you, stay right here is the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown my phone view here just texting my daughter diffuse, picking me up at the airport is a fly in tonight for our second graduation of the last couple weeks this time. Our grandson Connor in Maryland excited about that. All right. 866-34-TRUTH the number to call so here's what I find really interesting friends again part of my calling is to be involved in controversy that's just a reality so II get hit from lots of different sides. I got hit from atheists I get hit from radical Muslims negative from traditional Jews. I get hit from gay activists. I had from Christians in different size the different that's the spot. As part of my calling. I address controversial issues by calling not not by desire or by design words.

I don't spark the controversy just to spark controversy God for bid that's carnal with/I don't do so I woo the secular people talk know what, what's the use that recalls bring peace. I work for unity for harmony. I really do try to be a peacemaker by God's grace reaching out to people behind the scenes talking things through. If I can do that all of do it, but only get hit from all sides, that's fine. There's no no boasting and no complaining is just like everybody knows that's that's reality okay I'm in the Mr. controversial time.

That's just part of my calling. Part of my life and I thrive in it because what God called me to do and need me to do and we got a ton of prayer support. Thank you for all. Thank you, thank you.

If you pray for me for ministry regularly when your burden to thank you. Trust me, it makes a big big difference. What's interesting to me though is when I will challenge certain prevailing narratives or call something out. Suddenly I become a compromiser or a coward. That's what I find really interesting. There is when I do the difficult thing of calling out something that's been wrong. Like the failed trump prophecies and the false prophecies and call them out try to read some of the people privately behind the scenes they wouldn't talk to me. Okay fine slide publicly played the clips and call them out said wrong. This false need to repent of this and and and and humble yourself right so that's not an easy thing to do because you know you're gonna get hated for but I don't think twice.

It has to be done. I feel prompted to do it, do it.

I will calculate will cause nobody's you obey them to me is not a matter of personal courage is disobedience right when you hear your mom and and you and your kid runs into the street to see a car coming in you, you run the risk your life and grandma Melissa so much courageous just be a mom like this, like it right so you is do that so that the same way you know when when you know something's right side set to do was write this note will get it when a prize for that right out of the goblets databases will Mike you are so correct always like this.

This was supposed to do is post obey and honor the Lord. But what I find fascinating is when I'll do that or when we exposed chewing on conspiracies as a mention is that we probably lost like call out that the false trump prophecies: for accountability and calling out the cueing on conspiracy nonsense people say what I believe she went on and was like every Jew or non-talking point right. We probably lost like 10,000 followers on Facebook and it's the sum of numbers is whether these were people that were coming to me and and learning and and receiving with us and want nothing to do with you so I just wanted to see what happened. This is on not blaming Pastor like this is not on him. This is not on him. We had a conversation yesterday, I just want you to see some of what I deal with when I call these things out and it is to say, look, you gotta do what's right, you're gonna get blasted. Misunderstood what you have to do what's right and then pray for the people I come against you sit here just just a few examples are right so this was again when I said what when I took exception to pastoralist comments that can easily have said like he was calling for violence. He very very clearly said no, no, no, on the radio show yesterday and is set it in. In other settings since then since he made the first comments are right and that's why when public was immediately because I was concerned he could sound like a a call to violence. So for doing that getting Jordan post on Facebook wall. Sounds like Dr. Brown is a coward's eye. I just find this interesting because I got a lot of that you coward. Sleep was a hang on.

So for calling out something city responsibly that could be very dangerous in today's climate that makes me a coward. No risk to not be a coward is to scream at the top of your lungs was go to war with the government right which contest lock was not saying to do via right here it is again, this is I can give you one after another, this Patrick Esther Brown what are you doing to save America.

I mean he might be unhinged but at least is doing something you like Frank and grandma just likes to go down the middle and show for both sides never taken a real stand as long as you keep increasing followers induced it's the weirdest ego to understand friends. It's really weird to read stuff like that because the gentleman who posted it again posted publicly believes what he posted right in thinking what what world does he live in is just you can accuse me of being too controversial or taking too many controversial stands on the culture wars or things within the church or calling for accountability when the charismatic church or challenging the critics are exposing hyper grace or confronting, missionary rabbis are where you can accuse me of taking too many controversial stands and it being too much involved in the culture wars on the front lines of the pro-life movement.

Working with leaders for years. One of my closest pro-life friends, has been arrested over 100 times and owes more than $25 million in products. I asked him for an update.

Cheviot is one of my buddies revert together for years the pro-life cause pushed I was pushing back by calling against LGBT Q plus activism before anybody many seasons before many in our circles were even thinking about sub- working code to save America for my books is called saving a sick America. But when I call out words that could be understood to be calling for violence now suddenly I'm a coward who takes the stance of thinking what this is really on and I'm trying out understand these people so I can minister to them better. And of course when I do this I lose a lot of code followers know this with the call of social media right you is ill when you do this you lose followers and I get what he does it to get more views and fall. Note to the contrary, I know what I do this and you lose people so if you're if you're listing rather than watching it.

I hope you can hear the smile in my voice because I the last thing I do is take this personally.

I just feel that like what are people thinking what what what are they thinking. Boldness is is is only to say inflammatory things in an inflammatory way and that's what boldness is is I mean is it just to be super patriotic. That's what boldness is and where patriotism becomes caught only callout that's not being bold all here have, this one from Greg hey Doc Brown, what about your pointy-headed bit Midler in the Hollywood crowd calling why she my pointy headed bit Midler and I was insulting her head help anything, but in the Hollywood crowd confident of a speech they don't like in the gelling of those people.

Remember Hitler's Nazi party reframes to the same thing in you for your church pastor from Tennessee really critical substantive subterfuge to create a distraction to look behind the black curtain like appearance of the Wizard of Oz and in another nice way to plug your merchandise so I'm thinking what what are people thinking, help these folks with all your thinking. My most recent book is the silencing of the lambs.

The mistrust of cancel culture and how we overcome it again. Ike I've been blacklisted by the Southern poverty Law Center with call. Hope one of the 30 leaders of the new radical right were the 30 new leaders of the radical right a few years ago I was alone with David Duke for the grand Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Malik solution Boz, former leader of the new Black Panthers skinheads neo-Nazis. I was there." Anti-gay human rights campaign, which is the world's largest Georg Dacus organization they blacklisted me for court exporting evil because I went to Peru at the invitation of leaders are distal to congressional leaders in University Chancellor's as to what happens when you normalize same-sex relationships and embrace LGBT Q plus activism so II got on their hitless record exporting evil and then glad the gay and lesbian Alliance against defamation now just as glad I nicknamed them the game was McCloskey's disagreement. They put me out. I was in the very first list of still there commentator accountability project which is here are people that the secular media should not have on the air, they should not have on the air because our our our opinions or viewpoints or to destructive and negative and people should not get our side of the story. Only those some of you stream blacklisted hated as a mentioned one key country of gone to the minister. I can't go to now because of spoken out against radical Islam and that's when things if you speak against Islam. You can't go to the country in a very careful and lay out what I'm talking about can't go there, sobbing. This is this normal life and yet somehow somehow when I'm concerned that rhetoric is unhelpful and could bring reproach to the gospel and provoke violence that makes me a compromise coward.

See that's that's what concerns me that some talk about this so I'm in the middle is on the example rights. Unlike the dartboard I learned was in people's hearts because the darts get thrown at me some mind let here throw the darts everybody doing her best ear leaving the eyes of your wife throw the darts go at it helps me understand what you're thinking and then I can look at the poison in those darts and see how I can try to help you administer you so I welcome the darts welcome them. Let me be that the punching bag. Go ahead put my face on your punching bag and go ahead write no skill beer that's fine I'm good with that because now you've gotten out and now I can see how I can help you. I can see what's wrong.

I can see what you're missing. So this is what I'm really trying to understand and see and we got flooded with comments within pastor Locke said that he told people he stopped defending me etc. is not about me versus him. We had a very important talk yesterday and you go back and listen to that right and he was humble and gracious. My point is that we often mistake human anger client old partisanship, hyper patriotism that drives us beyond the kingdom of God. We often equate those things with boldness and when maybe someone may be a young lady with a quiet voice says I believe are in the wrong spirit told she's the condo she's actually the bold one. She's actually the one being a prophetic witness in the Miss McAnally. That's why I assure you, this goes against floods and one after another after another is the same thing when I called out to the falls from prophecies we got blasted last plastic friends. That's what you have to do. You blasted with that that reveals the spiritual sickness so that we can deal with that the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown vitamin mission.com.

Actually, as I did last night looking for a particular supplement from Dr. Stigler got a special cold. You can use the get your 10% discount and then when you order donations made core ministries will vitamin mission.com 866-34-TRUTH let's go to Michael and bourbon a Illinois welcome to the line of fire Dr. Brown Oreo very well, thank you.

I don't really have a question. I have more you know you know you did it show recently about target celebrates courier yeah okay pastor Locke years ago or talking like back in like 2015.

He kinda started something amongst people who Street bridge and I've started a street preacher my area that I just simply read my Bible but go ye and preach okay and well pastor Locke said though that you know that was when they started to open the bathrooms and well I went to my target and I do the exact same thing as pastor Locke. I asked question just said okay. Are you seriously going and a week later I a whole bunch of us another a street preacher spell abandonment by the Bell rigidity with Michael just for time sake and consent of the callers. If you could this get to the focal point that we can comment on okay yeah I went in there and I we would we. I pretty much yelled repent, layout, and the amount telling people to repent and I didn't have the same exact idea.

Ideology is now pastor Locke.

I know was a big, big on either candidate's automate the tenancy with the just come in here because it may take a little while to get to the point of II have good friends who have Street preach for many many years of dinner here and there, but I have good friends that do it very very regularly of their colleagues that lead street preaching ministries around America and they will sometimes have a different style than I would have. They would sometimes have a different delivery than I would have, but they seen fruit they seen people fall to the knees and repent right on the street and got use them even if their style is different than mine. I have other friends that put an emphasis on on looking for sick people and those in need and they minister to them and God heals them and touches them and they they very clearly share the gospel with them very clearly. Share with them the need to repent and will get right on their knees on the street and leave those people in Jesus and work to follow up with them. So there are different methods in which the message can be preached. I would just say that to a person working in the store there employee or manager of the store are under orders to do certain things and they don't know the Lord that I'm not I'm not yelling at them to repent of of opening up bathrooms to peoples no perceived gender until it's wrong is destructive and you will have my business because it they need the Lord that they need to know Jesus. That's the main thing I'm calling them to repent. Another may be a time that were called to tell people stuff are likely to repent goes you judge. There are times for that but we really need to be in harmony with the Holy Spirit really need to know his voice and is prompting.

Sometimes we can just do that and think we been very bold and it's the flesh having this without knowing more in seeing a situation I can say which is which. But let everyone know that we love them that the reason were telling the truth is out of love, that if one about hell B. With tears.

Thank you, thank you for the call of let's go to Sherry in Atlanta. Welcome to the line of fire. Dr. Brown, thank you so much for you family your ministry your special blessing and I just wanted will honor you and thank you for that question for you, and a lot of people say that how Greg Locke talked in the things he said. It's like Jesus turning over the tables in the temple and 10 m are vastly different things which are due on that with your thoughts right so Sue pastor Locke was our subject yesterday and people got to hear from him so I want to answer it in that way. Rather than making a direct comparison, especially in his absence went when he was willing to come on the errands and speak openly. Let me speak openly to him, so I will say this. Number one, we all of us.

We are not Jesus and our indignation is often mixed. James Jacob one says that the anger of man does not accomplish God's righteous will, therefore, we should be slow to anger or the pieces for in your anger do not sin because often reduce sin in our anger and saying we, us, so that this is forcing were not Jesus, and he was doing things he said a guilt he can only do what he saw the father doing right and obviously this is what he the father showed him he was to do and there is no there's no time that anyone else did that that was the apostles never did.

The followers of Jesus never did that. Even though the temple stood for 40 more years after his death and resurrection are there is no evidence of them going into idle temples and smashing the idols and things like that. So there is a righteous and holy indignation, but let it come in the way that the rest of the New Testament tells us to be bold this be uncompromising. Let's be clear. But let us do it with gentleness of spirit but is gently correct. Those who oppose us and this is with what Paul writes we relisted it earlier in the broadcast. Let us demonstrate the wisdom that comes from above, there is something interesting, so I started preaching I am 18 years old right for Lucille in the word and prayer. 6 to 7 hours a day memorizing 20 versus a day sharing the gospel at least one new person every day. Going to church services multiple times a week zealous passionate right and I preached a real wake-up call to the young people in our church a sirocco not enough evangelizing a theory like 15 young people so I preached there was a Tuesday night service and the, the, you know, it was time when when the real diehard folks were always there. They came to multiple services weeks with 550 60 people.

Many older and then the young people and at one point my message for emphasis. I said I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and I slapped the table with my hand so much of my Pastor Greg Locke on phone and biased about me right I slapped it and I thought I was like that's a good thing to do for emphasis are members. I did the pastor as he was watching, jumped know I thought out well. Anyway, I instantly instantly that split-second got a blister on on my hand instantly. I'm trying out the second I hit I was like oh that's done which I did not expect, and I look and I literally the skin was warm and if they had a blister. So when I finish the message we have altar call in and the young people weeping at the altar and all this we finish the offense. The message and then the pastor got up and he said, Lord, temper your word that went forth tonight and I was very offended temper with me so when I want to meet within the next day specs. He spent the day in prayer that I would hear what he had to say that I met them before the service and he said look, your young whippersnapper you know anything your wet behind the just when I was 18, 19 years old. He said there there are men, and that in that meeting last night. He said, and and Dave is a sacrifice, and you have no idea they've given away 30, 40% of their income over the years to to help the gospel and you have the right talking to him I had to paraphrase what he said he was. The problem is the young people they loved it there in here and they'll support you but I'm telling you in a you learn something here.

Will that for me was a very formative lesson early on and and I learned that there was a certain again to let me much of anybody else. There is a certain delivery that I thought was quote anointed, which was just we get worked up a little bit and try to make some point God made it clear enough with the intellect, the pain of the instant blister and in the pastor's words, but that's been something maybe just because I could be so strong headed, I could be so dogmatic and myself. I could be so contentious in myself I could be so argumentative in myself. The gods really had to purge me what you know it it says in Proverbs 3 that God corrects those that he loves Proverbs 311 and 12 and I once told Nancy.

I said I think God loves me more than others because he corrects me so much so I think whatever.

Let it be B again, I'm not speaking a pastor Locke you know some speak about speak about me. Let it be that that we really live broken laws before the Lord, that we are really people who take up the cross deeply that we really crucify our either our timidity on the one side or our fleshly anger on the other, or our wishy-washy this on the one side or our contentiousness on the other side that we crucify those things and that we live to honor the Lord, and if he tells us your number one most controversial messages of my life at a Palestinian Christian conference.

Roy was the sole voice that was Zionist and and sing support Israel. In these ways, that's where they invited me to invite some of the company is like that to their conference and I pipe publicly corrected them. I publicly said wrong on this point. This point this point and you need to fix these things if if you want our full support, but they also know I did it with brokenness. They also know I did it with pain in my heart and that's what allowed us to sit and have fellowship afterwards. Let that be the message that we bring to the church of the world, boldness, uncompromising words of truth but with brokenness and cut us. We believe love back with you on Thursday or Thursday.
