The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network new wave of terror in Israel will talk about it today. It's time for the light a fire with your host scholar and cultural commentator Dr. Michael Brown your voice for more spiritual clarity 866-34-TRUTH to get him a lot of wire and now there's your host Dr. Michael Brown. It is our focus is on Israel and the Jewish people on Thursday some tragic news to report, but it is reality we need to talk about it.

We need to pray. Here's the recall any Jewish related question you have of any kind with her ties in with modern Israel whether it's about messianic prophecy in the Old Testament, but it's about the Hebrew language or Jewish tradition or if you're Jewish person and you differ with my beliefs in your shoe up being our Messiah same number to call 866-348-7884 so you so much going on in the world today. You may have missed the news from Israel, but there are now 11 people killed in the last eight days.

That was as of yesterday living people killed in the previous eight days and it is a clear wave of terror.

In other words, there have been several different attacks. Attackers have have made in association with ISIS known plainly Ramadan, which is the holiest month on Islamic calendar begins on Saturday, April 2, and there are real concerns with what could happen during Ramadan because terrorism often increases during Ramadan. It's a time of intense spiritual devotion and Islam. It's a tent at time of a self-denial in the day and feasting at night so from dawn to dusk, no food, no liquids in the Muslim world religious Muslim world particular role will largely live by this abide by and feasting at night but during this time be at the pent up aggression Beatrice this is a time of greater consecration to Islamic principles. Terrorism often rises and their calls for terrorist acts that often arises this time so Israel is really on the alert. This is right now, not on the level of the first or second intifada, or anything like that.

There has not been an opening organize call safe from Palestinian Authority or Hamas for acts of violence like there would've been in the past, but something is obviously brewing something is going on and the tragedies affecting everyone.

It's affecting Israeli Jews.

It's affecting Arab Christians victim looking@aheadlineonallisrael.com where it shows pictures of the funeral of 32-year-old Ami or Cory. So based on the pictures. He was an Orthodox Christian, and even though he had finished his law degree.

He loved being a policeman, so he stayed in the police force.

He told his girlfriend. One day I'm gonna stop a terror attack and she said it's not worth it. While he responded to a terror attack. The terrace was still firing his M-16. Cory got there with his partner. There was a shootout. He was killed.

His partner killed the terrorist and is being hailed as a hero of Israel and at his funeral.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews from Binet Brock. This is the area that the terrace was shooting it, and into which the police officer. His partner went that ultrathin fees from Binet Brock came to his funeral hailing him as a hero. So it is is touching many many lies in Israel. The randomness of it.

The suddenness of it. The fact that it seems like it could come from anyone at any time ask the situation all the more volatile, so those who pray for Israel. Pray for God's will for God's best for protection for repentance in the hearts of terrorists for solutions to many of the problems that the people face there because you have to realize that that when you had massive conflict for so many years and now going on for few generations. When you have one group that says we are just put down.

We are just depressed me just marginalized you say well the reason is because your leaders try to wipe us out and kill us right that would be the Israeli response to Palestinian same. We been marginalized were second-class citizens, etc., especially those in the quote in the quote occupied territories so they their perspective would be if you drop in the Gaza Strip that the Israelis are tyrants and their their murderers and their pressing us and and they're stealing our land and living in our land and the Israeli response would be. We pulled out of Gaza Gaza Strip so you can self determine your destiny instead you you will like Hamas after blood he Civil War Housing Authority you like. Hamas is your leaders there terrace out to destroy us, what you expect us to do if if you change your policies will change ours. So it's this back and forth. But if you grew up there and you've just been exposed to the educational system and you've just been exposed to the state run TV then you will have the worst possible view of Israel.

So when after repeated attacks, repeated attacks, repeated attacks, Israel says okay were going to respond and were going to declare war on Hamas and Gaza in the start bombing than the world is sated, you're just bombing innocent people in Gaza were you doing and this is the world's largest open prison camp and this is oppression. This is terror. Israel says were where we are responding to terror. We are fighting back against terror as any sovereign nation would be sold.

The things have gone so deep they are so generationally ingrained, then you have radical Islamic ideology and theology built in, which demonizes the Jewish people would says that this land will always belong to Islam.

Once Islam has conquered territory than in Islamic thought that territory belongs to it would be like you Mary your wife in the seminal steels are no, no that's my wife. You have a right to her as my wife Lisa that's our land.

That's our territory in Israel claims not on how this is always been our land always been our territory. Then there is the Islamic response to that in back and forth go so this is very, very deep roots. Many in the younger generation with who may be more access to the truth and more access to the humanity of others through social media heart of the demonized people you're interacting with them in a friendly way.

Many of the younger generation may be more willing to see peace on both sides, but may not be fully aware of the history of the difficulties and the challenges and and then you also have say within a place like Gaza Strip. The average age is very young for four people. In other words old. Let's let's just see your type this it all right average age citizen of Gaza all right Gaza Strip at Gaza Strip. Let's see with this comes up with him. I'd be shocked to hear his deceased dad's population whether average income demographics, average salary while a fossil leader but if you can. If you compare that to Japan. The average age effect. I see if is see if you can find that okay the. The average age for some living in Japan and the average age for some living in Gaza Strip, you'll find it's off, probably by several decades. Different that one population aging.

The other more and more and more young people, and yes there are young people who are in touch with each other.

Palestinians Israelis and they want to be friends that will work you want to see peace than the many others that have been raised radicalized and hear what the young man often do fight right is is I remember talking to two at a Catholic sociologist is PhD in sociology 10 years before I got my PhD at NYU. He had his a W and he was saying. Sociology 101.

The reason that you have all the rioting in the 60s. The reason that you had the whole generation gap and counterculture revolution was that you had the baby boomers and after the war resisted disproportionate number of young people born the tip the scale when you're more young people have more fighting it is that sociology 101 so you have to factor that in as well. You have a lot of young people, especially young men who have been radicalized.

Growing up, especially in places like Gaza Strip or growing up in the so-called West Bank biblically Judeo and Samaria, and they see Israel, and much more negative ominous ways and are much more easily recruited to do battle against Israel and then you have the more radical elements within Israel.

You have that growing as well out on the right and they're more inclined to violence so it's it's a volatile situation.

I do not have some peace plan. I do not have some magic Okies listen to Mike Brown on this always all you will be sought no I'm simply a pray. Let's pray before more innocent lives are taking God your will.

Yes, every person on the planet is important to God. Yes, he cares about conflicts and deaths all over the world when it comes to Israel.

It's something that we pay even more attention to because it is so volatile because can affect so many others because this is a history of slaughtering of Jewish people cold little of the earth sensitizes us to that as well, but we we are not okay we we are not pro-Israel, as he posted. We are pro people. We are pro-justice. I stand with Israel. I'm I'm absolutely sure that Israel today is a partial fulfillment of ancient prophecy still coming to pass. This was a partial fulfillment this much more still happen, but my heart is God's best for all the people in the land 866-34-TRUTH Google phones momentarily. Yeah, I that's that's what I thought I was off in in Japan but I have it right for Gotham. It was, but it seemed so extreme.

I want to double check. So thanks to my crack team here is ready for this. The median age and gossip so you you average in the entire population right and then you just look for the.

The average age as it balances out.

You ready for this.

The median age for people living Gaza Strip is a teen years old so a lot of families having a lot of kids in a relatively small area. Growing up with Hamas misusing funds growing up without all of the benefits that internationally could have given them very very volatile.

What's the average age of the median age for someone Japan 40. I thought it was at 56 six that's what was in my mind, but it's close and I was told just going to be a disparity of decades. Yes, 48 this is an aging culture without support for the elderly because they're not enough kids. Gaza's population growth rate is 2.05 Japan's is -.03 if so, it's a volatile situation with Ramadan coming even more volatile special to get to the end of Robin on so father your will be done. Your kingdom come to Israel and surrounding territories and surrounding nations. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven and they all the peoples of that region. Jew and Gentile alike look to you as their hope is there salvation right back and illustrate your calls.

The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866342 here again is Dr. Michael Brown was sound beautiful music.

All right 866-34-TRUTH, let's go to Ryan in Yukon, Oklahoma. Welcome to the line of fire by Dr. Brown.

I unit at any time, and it is a question that a lot of people they get.

About letting the Bible, crop the question is gotten example, the question is why are their family time when the writers of the new Putting even Alpine or off all would quote the Old Testament but they would go out of their way. Perhaps quote the Greek applicant that was translated I got about 100 years right and in info doing many times where I get frustrated because I wear the New Testament with the Old Testament) and they don't come out quite the payment.

The classic example. I found Jeremiah 3132 8903 the closet Hebrews 31, 32 finishes by things like that with they broke although I was due them, declares the Lord, but in Hebrews 89 that they did not continue in my covenant, and I do not care for them that the Lord so that the classic example of where the Greek document of the Greek New Testament. It quoting the Greek Old Testament but it better with the Old Testament Hebrew and I wanted to see if what you could talk to about along those line thank you for the question and it is an important one. And of course it's one that the it was just it is about him carefully as you seek tries to dig deeper into the original text will raise so the simple answer is because New Testament writers writing in Greek. They quoted the Greek Bible that was most widely used in their day. Later revisions the Goshen silicosis cola, though those would postdate New Testament for the most part, in terms of being widely distributed or used so it would be just like in the days when the King James Bible was the English Bible right and that's let's say, I'm a pastor and I got congregations in several different states.

The 1700s and I'm writing a letter and I'm quoting Scripture to them. Maybe I can read it perfectly from the Greek or from the Hebrew, but I'm quoting it to them and say read this look this up your Bible. The Bible they have is the King James Bible sets when a quote from. As long as the overall substance of it is accurate that I can leave it like that.

So that was the Bible the people and access to that was the Bible that they would check references and things like that selectively quoted as first Jesus. I don't believe that he would've referenced record of the Septuagint because he would've been quoting the Scriptures in Hebrew, and if he was teaching in a colloquial way he would've been teaching in Aramaic so it's simply if a gospel writer say Luke writing in Greek is quoting Jesus. He's now going to use the Septuagint the same way because just that that's the Bible of the people when they're familiar with, and the will that they can reference a look things up. You know, and if they can get to the scroll or or someone has memorized, etc. of that the lesson would be that if the overall force of the message is coming across accurately than that's what matters that there may, there may be a couple of different traditions in terms of how word is translated or what the original text said that it's a balky of fruit for that passage in Jeremiah 31 I was a husband to them as as in the Hebrew could've the been a very it may be gone all three. I rejected them as as others might render it is that with the Septuagint, saw the decisive church and have a different understanding of the Hebrew word so that's that's what's debated.

There's a German word for logger which means that the text that is before you. In other words, when the Septuagint translators were translating that that their text is there for logger say about healthy or did it say something else or do they have a different understanding of the word.

Either way, they translated carefully never close to it right they were.

They were dry. 200 years before us in terms of closeness to the text so that would be the lesson, which would also tell me that when when the Bible was translated into multiple languages.

That's a good thing. For example, the Quran, you're supposed to read in the original Arabic and if it's translated it's called a translation of the Koran or the meaning of the Quran because the Quran technically is only in Arabic that was not God's intent with the Bible and therefore is right was the overall message gets out, then we can we can debate very specific words and details. That's what we learn from the New Testament usage. Dr. Brown I think that was a great point that thank you very much up but especially about how the gospel writer are quoting G.perhaps likely like you that did not quote from the applicant but the gospel writer taking the material that boat went and when they would reference the Old Testament, it seems that they that would be the time, especially things like Matthew take a lot of liberty we would say with with some of the Old Testament after is interesting though. What was interesting line is that, for example, Matthew 817. That's Matthew's own translation from the Hebrew we don't have anything like it in the targums and we don't have anything like it in in the Septuagint in the same way in the 27th chapter where he's quoting from Zechariah 11 with reference to two probably Jeremiah 19 as well, but he's quoting that he seems to provide his own translation there as well.

So when he felt it was important for point that was being made to emphasize that he would do it but if you think for example the quotation in Hebrews 8 of of Jeremiah 31 verses 31 to 34, which by the way, is the longest quotation of any passage from the Old Testament and the new all four verses quoted the whole emphasis is the new covenant new covenant new covenant new covenant. That's the emphasis and it comes across loudly and clearly hey again, thank you for the questions, feel free to call us again with more 866-348-7884. Let's go to Isaac and Westville, Oklahoma, had you know where Yukon, Oklahoma is I have no idea yeah I never heard of it either at those Yukon Alaska but anyway Westville, Oklahoma.

Welcome to the broadcast or think you're there were new to the area. A lot of my couple speak with you.

We regret leaving you about a little bit of my testimony about you but I feel my life.

I realize that there a lot of Christians out there who believe in a flatter the Bible back to it and when you get down to translation Greek translation they had the workers here. So of course they would you like circle but in your opinion when you read Isaiah is there any proof that would explain that the earth is either a spear or the flat will search certainly setting it in the Hebrew words for Earth's land that has anything to do with flatness around this for examples of the word and its has nothing to it which can be earth or land or even world. At times, that is nothing to do with flatness or roundness of the mall, which is just the earth itself right of Dom is created from the Automall. There's nothing in that word or any of the words and to my knowledge in Greek, you have gave her for Earth and things like that that has anything to do with flatness around this anymore than our words world earth land have anything to do with flatness around this question is that when you see the observational language of the Bible.

The ends of the earth with the four corners of the wings coming for the four corners of the world to set indicate a flatness will obviously not just observational. When we read Isaiah about about the food of the sphere of the earth or the circle of the earth does that mean that the earth is a sphere, or when speaking of the circle the earth is just about looking out at the horizon, which can have that that spherical look. There is debate about it, but they just say this if someone is going to try to use the Hebrew Bible to prove flatness, then we can use the verse word where word speaks of the food of the earth to say no. It's quite the opposite. It's circular it's round it's really a battle but the Bible does not address. To be frank, but if it did address it. Then I would push back with that that the there is Skoog likely coming from from roots, Gog, which which means to circum-ambulate part of the Hajj. So why is the Hodge call the Hodgen Arabic. It's because the people go to Mecca and they circum-ambulate, they they walk around in a circle with a walk around the Kaaba in Mecca so it's it's that same route from once the scum so it does have to do with spherical or circular nature. So if you are usually Hebrew pushback is that and then abandon. Try to prove this from the Bible and just look at reality size. I think thank you for the call would come right back straight to your calls. Now's a great time to call in by the way, takes more calls, 866-348-7884 the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown welcome to sit back and take it in. Drink it in welcome welcome to the broadcast.

Hey, if you've got any Jewish related question of any kind, be at Hebrew language, be it messianic prophecy Jewish background New Testament those, questions read about Jewish beliefs and traditions about modern state of Israel. By all means give us call you a couple phone lines open and the earlier you call in, the better chance we have of getting your call 866-348-7884. Going to the phones momentarily. I I'm often asked the question what is the best translation of the Bible. Number one, that's completely subjective so were talking into English right that's completely subjective. You talk to different biblical scholars different linguists different ministers of the gospel and they'll have different opinions. So it is highly subjective. This number one number two in my view, there is no such thing as the best translation because different translations are better at different things or have a certain purpose. So I've dealt with that if you want to dig in deeper. Go to asked Dr. Brown.org ASK DR Brown.org and just type in translations or Bible translations in the search box and in you get past broadcast. We've talked about this. Maybe another day I will do it it's it's been a few years since have just devoted a whole broadcast to it so I could give you a list of what I believe are the best translations. Overall, in and among them. This will may be better for certain people or this will may may be considered more reliable and more accurate etc. that I can easily do, but in my view, there is no such thing as the best translation hey I did translation of the book of Job from a Job commentary. I started one in the book of Isaiah for commentary of the writing doubled over a period of years on the book of Isaiah. I did not do a translation for Jeremiah when I was a Comintern that just because it was not required that the, the commentators did that in that series, but is my translation of Joe the best translation of Joe that's been done though I did it I did it but I wouldn't say it's the best that would be foolish. That would be arrogant to. In my mind it's it's the most accurate based on my interpretation of Joe, but there are so many other Job scholars and Hebrew scholars that have other views and and and maybe maybe the translations read much better than mine.

Maybe minds really good here that week there maybe someone can convince me that there translation of the word is better semen.

The one that I did myself, I can say all it's the best I say you'll find it in harmony with my commentary and hopefully find it useful, but there are so many things are going to Bible translation, so you may have your favorite you may be a scholar and said I think this is the most accurate.

You may say Hafer study. This is most useful or for preaching. This works best.

But this little room for discussion there okay that's a wide-ranging art. Let's let's go over to Ledeen and Alberta. Welcome to the 15.

Thanks for calling sure I'm wondering if in fact true.

Temporal keep you out if the name of Yahweh that accident mean behold and now, behold, the hand that is gratuitous that that is as if the letter still had symbolic meanings which they have not since they become an alphabet if if you go to my website and just search for the word Palio PAL EO Palio you'll see a whole video right absolutely debunk that. That notion will of first the idea that the.

The first symbol stands for, behold, is completely gratuitous. You have to read much into that which is to explain the the earliest forms of language were written and in pictographs right so you have thousands of different pictures to convey things maybe have a foot and that can mean foot or commune walk reckoning kick the can mean a word related to that genie, thousands of them right and then from pictograph.

In many cases you want was called cuneiform. That's the wedge-shaped. It looks like like dinner chicken feet when you see it when you see tablets you know stone and and cuneiform on so that was able to take the pictographs and not reduce them to sounds like Bhumibol E Lou etc. she could maybe get was 600 something sounds. Then the alphabet was developed out of that ultimately and the oldest that we have it in terms of relevancy. Hebrew would be the Phoenician alphabet. Some some claim. There's an earlier Hebrew before that but the Phoenician alphabet said okay and this was the philosophy with other alphabets will will take the first letter of this word and just take the sound right. So the first letter of buyer to house but or the first the first letter of of olive ox reduced is kind of a silent sound see that you have those eight were the first letter of yard hand so that's why your so if you just put these together now you actually have words and you can spell anything with 2225 different letters. So originally, the, the letter for Byatt house looked like a house or the letter for olive ox look like an ox there in Weatherford doll at the Dell.

It door look like a door but very, very quickly, as the alphabet developed it no longer look like that at all. So the Greeks borrowed their alphabet from the Phoenicians.

The Romans for the Greeks. Ultimately we got things from Latin, so our alphabet goes back to the Phoenician elf with the American English goes back to Phoenician. Ultimately, the Hebrew goes back to Phoenician degree because back to Phoenician. The thing is, once it became an alphabet just like what is the letter a stand for what symbol nothing. It's a sound it's about what is be Stanford beat is not the same thing with the Hebrew alphabet, so it is completely gratuitous people of made whole ministries base their whole ministries on discovering the original Hebrew meaning based on a but based on the pictographs. It's completely bogus. It is terribly misleading. There's not any evidence that any ancient Hebrew ever in reading the Hebrew Bible said all this, this alphabet letter actually stands for this pictorial symbol, which stands for this word that's basically something with people you don't know Hebrew don't really understand it advocating for this is become very popular, but it is completely bogus, and 100% gratuitous to say that the divine name has that gospel message in it, so sorry to disappoint, because the truth wanted to know because I wanted to have an argument that God and I'm glad different then it here's the other thing where the, the biblical writers ever point to the whit where does the test never point to the word of the disciples of the apostles ever point to the nowhere nowhere so it in any case it check out and Palio by the way, it is just a type of script it's out of phase of the language. This is the old way of writing the script. That's always just search for Palio on the YouTube channel with Esther to Brown is Kadir Brown or on a website Esther to Brown.org. Thank you for the call. By the way, the hostility towards my video for setting the record straight, the people mocking me for not knowing Hebrew. It's like it's frustrating because I want people to truth and again people will the whole ministries on this and so master the other. This is a good website is a stayaway for terrible board agreement is the site still up the ministry still going despite it being based completely on faucet seven all right, let's go to a mono in North Carolina.

Welcome to the line of fire.

Thank you, thank you, Dr. Brown marketing Nikon 5010 98 and and how many I know why a God and a mono are you are a Christian yourself I am not click are you Muslim, okay. Are you aware that there were many, yet there were many many many different versions of the crime passed on orally and then when they were written out that they were they were so so different that that when the early caliphs I had had a had them had them destroyed so that there was only one left but you're aware that grandma not only will actually actually there are a mono. There are… Make it back not know the different versions. Their manuscripts found in Yemen a few years back, and those differed as well. Whenever you find older versions of the Quran, yet a mono just tell you the truth I'm telling you the truth, yet now here's the here's a big difference. Let's say the New Testament. The New Testament was largely written by eyewitnesses of of the crucifixion right like like Matthew or John so the oral traditions were passed on immediately. They were put in writing within 30 to 60 years which is very fast. But here's what's interesting the eyewitnesses recorded that Jesus was crucified 600 years later the Quran says he wasn't crucified.

So, who I believe the eyewitnesses who saw with their own. I saw him die so him rise or someone who wasn't there 600 years later.

Who should I believe that 33rd 30 is 60 years after the crucifixion of Jesus. The Gospels were written, but the oral traditions passed on to me there. And remember, the Quran was originally passed on orally and then, in addition to that them on the letters of Paul start to be written within within 15 or 20 years of the crucifixion.

So you have many people have to remember there were so many people who saw this happen and knew that Jesus died and knew that he rose so the Bible is incredibly reliable, incredibly trustworthy with her many many different people who wrote it inspired by the Lord, like Moses and Isaiah and Matthew and Paul. They were inspired by the Lord to write these things supernaturally God gave me the words put the words of their heart and their mind so they were like Moses wrote about the Exodus from Egypt. He was there he saw. It is part of a stay right there will be like that if the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown got on the line of fire by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown as friends and Thursday, go right back to you mama. I'm so glad you called. With these questions.

May I ask you some thing or are you open to to find out more about the Bible or are you primarily calling as it is a devoted Muslim wanting to sit show why the Bible is wrong now going on night my daughter and that you think that you yeah you had not got it when I saw your name which look like an unobvious Arabic name when I saw that and you study classical Arabic for three years and in college and university as a so could recur on it in Arabic, so I saw the name and the questions SYS so can I do this. Can I send you something to read. That'll answer a lot of these questions and then once you read it you can call you and we can talk some more can I do that soon so to this wonderful wonderful good good good.

I love it I love it and look, I'm a Jew who believes in Jesus, so I had to go against a lot of my own family traditions and background solicit when I can put you on any mailing list or anything like that.

I just need your address to send you a book all right a moment to think about the right book to send you once you read it, then call in with further questions. Okay, so are our call screener is going to go in and get your address and then were to send you a book in the next couple weeks. All right. And then we get in the conversationalist. Pray for Mara, it is not providential that she called in and is a Muslim. She believes in divine providence, yes, let's pray that the Lord will open the heart and mind, and as we answer a lot of the questions then probably more open to the good news about Jesus the Messiah. Awesome. Thank you so much. All right, let's go to Paul in Richmond, Virginia. Welcome to the line of fire or good afternoon Dr. Brown how are you doing very well thank you thank you all think of your ministry so reading about Luke 21 look different, but other one to get your perspective dollar I Luke 21 waiver 22 to 24 and 23 Wednesday that if it were good, punishment, and fulfillment of all that is written in them.

24 is that they will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners, all the nation Jerusalem will be trampled on by the tenant until the time of the death of Phil. The first question is, I think it would respect Nicaragua benefit of the, punishment the people that talk about them the truth of Judah, but that they can present to all the nation that you name first question to me all the nation and if so, do we have a record historically are either secular or Christopher Soria of where with literally alternate right so this is the first thing is definitely a judgment on the people of Judah and Jerusalem so the Jewish people as a whole, culminating with the destruction of Jerusalem that something was spoken of and when it says among the nations among all nations.

ESV translates among all nations. Many many times when the Bible speaks of all the world, all nations is make a general statement as opposed to every single nation in the world other words, you got some island nation in a with a population of 1100 people 3000 miles away from other every of the civilization that it must include that just means all around the world and for sure Jewish people were sold into slavery were taken captive were exiled all around the world so it's it's happened in striking ways and in many times to submit expelled from different countries because they refuse to be baptized within fit in with Islamic law and things like that with what's glorious though is until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

It's one of these New Testament until that says there will be restoration. There will be a transformation so it doesn't happen. For example in in one specific moment that it doesn't happen. That's a so here's the second we can see this transition has been taking place, especially as the old city of Jerusalem, and in that which is under Jordanian control it from 48 to 67 that that is back in Jewish hands and upping trampled underfoot the way it was in an abusive way so deftly applies to the Jewish people, but there is a restoration and were watching it unfold.

About prayer shawl and I remember part in the Bible where you know the woman half ball I met with Mike prayer shawl or something and I wondered what they really use them or didn't like how the Rosary kind of thing, or if it something because of you know how to better never come about right okay so only men of war. Yes, it was initially was none shawl was just part of the garments. Remember you're wearing a four corner garment that's hanging down loosely right. Men are not wearing pants and in the ancient world primarily right so there there there there wearing this this four corner garment and for from the hems, it would have these tassels right that was that was his God David in Numbers and Deuteronomy and the woman with the issue of blood that's just that that the extremity that the thing that's hanging out the first life I just touch that even that I'll be healed or period of time as garments changed, then a prayer shawl was developed so that you could put this on and it would have these ritual fringes that remind you that the way the knots were done ultimately tradition developed at certain knots is not originally with Moses.

The Jewish tradition developed with that remind you to keep the 613 commandments of the Torah south of their 613 kn, but that it's a remembrance to keep the 613 mammoths of the process.

Later Jewish tradition developed that if you see some movie and it's depicting life in ancient Israel the mentoring professionals that's anachronistic. That's the stuff what happened then that the actual development of shawl is later. Now in in some traditions as it developed in the religious household you always wear that you words called to lead Qatar on under your garments of men would wear this and then they would have the fringes, sticking out to remind them always see them and assist Numbers 15 for example this is a reminder to you to keep the commandments.

So it's not that you pray it like the Rosary or something like that. And then when you going to the synagogue. There can be the additional prayer shawl that you carry with you and that you put on a sometimes men will will put it over their heads just to exhort themselves and in deeper prayer and meditation is there before the Lord, but it's it is just something that accompanies prayer that reminds Jewish person of the commandment to keep the. The 613 commandments of the Lord and as a something that's worn under the sukkah like on your T-shirt where it under your shirt. And then you just have hanging out from the sides. The fringes, that's reminder all the time and then we put it on for prayer adjuster for further reinforcing but is like the Rosary for each be on the catheters and stand each be general as is you.

You touch it, then you say certain prayer that beaded so I could touch the friends here and say this prayer another work your way down and touch another by the by the way a rabbi once told me this joke that he brought some of his close into the local drycleaner that was owned by a Chinese fellow and brought into local drycleaner and comes back and everything is ready except the prayer shawl is all right but we just have the lay with that.

This come back next Friday will have it ready driver comes back to Sartre. We just need to Monday will get it like one would happen because Mike Monday said it took us forever to get all those knots out so anyway, is it okay thank you for the call to listen all those we couldn't get to today is always agreeable to close tomorrow. You got questions. We got answers to those that don't get through on a Thursday. We try to push up the line for Friday so by all means give us a call.
