That's 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown joining us on the Michael Brown delighted to be with you coming live from our studio in Fort Worth, Texas.

You got questions. We got answers 8663423263487884. Any question of any kind that relates in any way to any subject matter that we cover on the line of fire that Augustine talked about on the lawyer fire that I've written about spoken about by all means give us a call 866-34-TRUTH 878841 quick thing but it's major before we get to your calls. This is a 50 year anniversary for me yet 50 year anniversary. It was November 12, 1971 that for the first time I actually believed that Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead.

I wasn't ready to repent and really turn to God. It was a five-week battle that culminated in in the transformation. On December 17 but this 50 years ago was the first time that as I said it with my lips I actually believed Jesus died for me, and rose from the dead and the rest as they say has been history.

I am beyond profoundly grateful. 866-34-TRUTH let's go to the phones will start with Erin in Portland, Oregon. Welcome to the line of fire. Happy Friday. Dr. Brown thank you. I want to first say we serve and off you got a very dark God. Mark this we do. Amen. My question has to do it.

Second annual chapter 12 and David admits it's great for and with that she was pregnant on and God's righteous son of – even David had as a punishment for David's sin and elsewhere in the Bible likely to kill 18 you know if is a salty sin, you shall die in the fund shall not suffer the iniquity of the father so I'm trying to understand now.

I believe the Bible but I'm just trying to understand reconcile that your good questions. Let's look at three separate principles is the principal under the law of Deuteronomy 24 that sons are not or not to be put to death under the law for the sins of the fathers right so if if the father is a murderer, he gets put to death. You don't put the son to death for the semaphores that human law that's one thing right then.

Ezekiel 18 is dealing with an acceleration of punishment because if you if you read Lamentations in the fifth chapter it says our fathers send it and we are paying the price for and that often happens know was there.

There are consequences that the children of the Nazis, the children of those that had murderous plan in Germany, they suffered terribly. The whole nation suffered so there is often consequences the children of alcoholics have have a higher chance of becoming alcoholics themselves.

Just in the natural so in Ezekiel 18 God say I'm going to hasten the judge the speed the judgment you will no longer be able to say that the children of Eaton's the fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge instead everyone was in the divers own since all that saying there is that judgment will be accelerated right of it. In that case, otherwise there are often consequences from one generation to the next and this the sins of the fathers often visited on the next generation, especially if the generation continues to to send then there are going on the process so the third thing is can it be that we do something that is so ugly and wrong in God's sight that it must bring about immediate judgment, and in this case, the child is we would understand.

Thinking of eternity does go to be with the Lord that the child himself would not be punished eternally for what David and Bathsheba did, but their act was so sinful and and heinous.

Whether it was all David or whether it was jointly done so sinful and heinous in God's sight that God brought judgment on the react in this case the child he still the Redeemer. The child goes to be with with the Lord. But there are often consequences like that the fruit of my sin is so ugly that what it bears suffers judgment, so again, Ezekiel 18 is speaking in a specific context about God hastening judgment, often in the Bible with the parents do brings about negative consequences on the next generation and it's it's a reality of human life and sometimes in divine judgment. If God is going to strike home to to bring about the judgment than this is this is a way that it's really going to hurt in the recognize that this is one last thing this child also would've always had something hanging over them. They are the child of the fruit of adultery and murder into in terms of what David actually carries out so the child dying young. You can leave your mercy and for them, and being with the Lord. But it's it's a hard reality and in there that's that's how these things fit one verse with the other if that makes sense to you. Thank you, Dr. are you are you are very welcome, appreciated, 866-34-TRUTH. Let us go to Chandler in Ada, Oklahoma. Welcome to the line of fire.

Oh awesome am so excited.

I have a question for you on John chapter 6 verse 44 so many, I think, have the view that the father when he draws Jesus. He does that through the Holy Spirit.

But I don't think that he does so in John chapter 6 verse 44 is known can come to me except father which is sent me draw him our great month last day very next verse he says it is written in the prophets, and they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard enough, learned of the father, and the me so I believe that the father draws us through the hearing of the gospel agree with that, yes, but not only to the hearing of the gospel and in other words, for sure. Romans 10 how can they hear without a preacher right. How can simply chill us.

They were sent. So God does draw through the preaching of the word.

The cross itself, since you started across John 1232 if I be lifted up I'll draw all men unto me rides so there is the Lord's active drawing, but we know in John 16. The ministry of the Holy Spirit that convicts of sin.

We know that Jesus tells his disciples don't go out and preach until you been endued with power from on high. Luke 2449 in the next 18 you be my witnesses.

When you receive the spirit so the spirit through the word, draws people and and often the spirit through prayer draws people know when I talk about the transformation of my own life of 50 years ago. I did hear the word for sure. And then people were praying for me and the Holy Spirit was convicting me when I didn't even understand what it was so does the father draw. Yes, this use the word yes. Does the sun draw through the cross. Yes, does the spirit draw absolutely.

So it's is not either or about God anyway who is multifaceted and and complex in his unity so I will.

I just would make it either/or. I would say both land okay, follow-up, quick question. How exactly would you say the Holy Spirit does draw a person is it like in the way that like an example, like the lady of the color of fine purple says that God touched her heart to hear the things that I think Apollo's or maybe Paul is preaching about you say that's kind of the way that the Holy Spirit draw, you will what we know.

In John 16 verse nine. Following that when the Holy Spirit, Jesus Lisa's role.

The Holy Spirit comes in the convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment right so there is that aspect of the Holy Spirit, making us aware of our sin, making us aware of of our need us so we come under conviction, there is a revelation of our own sin and as the word is preach, the Holy Spirit enlivens it it it it quickens us with it touches us through it so okay conviction of sin. It's through the that the message that's preached again, both land okay so it's kind of like in Romans one when here where he said that the truth of God is manifest in them. For God has showed it to them showing them through the Holy Spirit, located in a context that the context there he showing through nature. In terms of of his power.

So that's a revelation through nature. God but then the Holy Spirit works from that to personalize the Holy Spirit works from that the shows were not in right relationship with the governor's revelation of nature's document shows that in and of itself right the relational nature will show us the power and majesty of God's sovereignty of God the things that that will talk about our relationship.

That's for the Holy Spirit will come in a personal way. You also learn that it is you as you realize that the Holy Spirit interacts with us in an interpersonal way. Second Corinthians 1314 we have fellowship with the Holy Spirit and in Ephesians 4 tells us not to grieve the spirit of the same in Isaiah 6 that really believers right so so the point is, that's for believers, but it's indicating right.

The interpersonal way that the spirit deals with us to the same way a sinner this the interpersonal way that the Holy Spirit brings that application convicts draws that's with the Holy Spirit's doing actively. So he's working invisibly behind the scenes on the lost and on the saved as only he unique, and do and that's why we grieve the spirit. Of course we grieve God in general grieve the heart of the father summits as we grieve the Spirit because he's the one enter personally working. Romans 816, that the spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. That's his unique role that interpersonal hidden behind the scenes role drawing in the center and the strength of the St. family.

I guess just the way that I was looking at it is that Jesus said he that believe coming out flow rivers of living water. I was beginning that we have to come to Jesus first and then each export.

The Holy Spirit yet what the Holy Spirit draws us to Jesus right Holy Spirit draws us to Jesus, Holy Spirit quickens us with the preaching of the word and then we receive Jesus. The Holy Spirit is poured out in our lives so don't limit the work of the spirit that regard. Just include that with everything a signature hey Chandler, thank you for the call and the questions much appreciated. 866-34-TRUTH. Let's go to Jean in East Chicago, Illinois. Welcome to the line of fire. Hi Dr. Brown, at the pleasure to be here with you again.

I love your ministry been following for a long time. I myself am in now college ministry and leave a bunch of students and so they're always watching YouTube videos and not tick-tock something like that. Then one of them came across a video that was teaching that according to Jewish culture.

Prophecy was a warning for the president, not so much a vision of the future and the apocalypse was more of a revealing of something in the supernatural. Again, more so than their will on the other side one line open. Call six. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution there again is Dr. Michael Brown remember we have tons of free resources waiting for you on the website asked Dr. Brown.org KSK do your Brown.org so explore their search for topics you looking for literally thousands of articles and videos waiting for you there, and the vast majority of all material there is free can also buy my books and other full-length courses, but all there waiting for you Esther to Brown.org. Make sure if you don't get my emails that you sign up for the emails take you 30 seconds or less. Put in your first name, last name, email, physical address, if you like, and then you hear from us immediately will send a really neat e-book, seven secrets of the real Messiah neat mini book and then bunch of resources will send you a way that will be a blessing to you so make sure you sign up Esther Brown.org. Okay, so going back to Jean so the idea would be that in the Hebrew Bible that prophecy is about the president and if things are about the future than its apocalyptic literature and its unveiling in revealing the future. Is that correct yeah but undertook an error in on YouTube it's very recent November 5 is when it came out on Netflix eight that the claim was about ancient Judaism and out. Daniel would've been understood or even some of the New Testament prophecy that that mixes truth with error. There is something called apocalyptic and apocalyptic literature can speak of coming events as if it's the end of the world of the great cataclysm so that a coming destruction in their day could be priced, presented, or in the next generation and cataclysmic apocalyptic term so Isaiah 24 through 27 skull, the apocalypse of Isaiah and it speaks of end of the age things it's it's the final conflict and much of prophecy is for the present rebuking sin in the present but plenty of prophecy is predictive and it's not apocalyptic notes is not in visionary terms.

It is, it is not in his mystical terms like the book of Revelation, and it you know it's it's the Bible is filled with you know and in and in first Kings. When King Jeroboam sets up the golden calf and and then profit comes in and prophesies without a man named Josias is going to do that's that's hundreds of years later that that happens, there are many prophecies of about days to come and read Isaiah 11 chapter and that the messianic prophecy about the stump that will come out over the route that will come from the stump of Jesse and and how such that the messianic King's ruling on the earth years will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord's words cover the seas that's on apocalyptic at all. That's just predictive prophecy. So the Bible is filled with that you have Jacob prophesying over his sons in Genesis 49 and there prophecies about future about the messianic ruler coming from the line of Judah. That's just prophecies.

Nothing apocalyptic about that whatsoever numbers the 24th by Dr. White when bailing prophesies.

I see him, but not yet.

So it's a future messianic ruler may be David and then in the future, the Messiah, many, many prophecies or future and some for the end of the age and their absolutely not apocalyptic in intoning structure if I can give an example that was given to video it talked about the statue in the book of Daniel, that was destroyed by the rock of the example was depending on if it's for present or future.

The kingdoms would've been completely different that those different sections of the stent statute represented and so that would be kind of their argument and saying that it was for the present meeting these kingdoms rather than not being for the future meeting future kingdoms and finally up to the Roman with understanding know. So what this is. Okay so first there completely wrong on the statement that prophecy is is not predictive. In many many cases it is much prophecy is predictive, predicting the children of Israel.

Going into exile. The sense of you coming out of exile, the temple being destroyed the temple being rebuilt. Let's prophesies inside apocalyptic. It was apocalyptic it would either be talking this by the end of the age, or describing the destruction of the temple is it with the end of the age. So the vast majority of prophetic literature is not apocalyptic and much of it is predictive when it comes to the book of Daniel.

Critical scholars often think that Daniel is writing it after the fact. So he he's writing it in the mid-second century BC and is reflecting back on the recent past and things like that but for sure there are things that Daniel speaks of that have not yet happened so so that that rock that that strikes at the base of the last statue, which represents the Roman Empire certainly represents the Roman Empire so you know you got the various emperors and subs in succession Babylonian the Medo Persian and Greek than Roman. That this stone has to strike and from there, this little beginning as a filling there so that's we see with the coming of the gospel within the days of the Roman Empire, so it has historical applicability and its ongoing fulfillment until the end of the age now, there are prophecies that can have dual meaning when the abomination of desolation, spoken by Jesus.

It already had an application in the second century BC and Daniel stay with the temple is defiled and restored so there is there is something relevant there and and in many cases, prophecy has a beginning, fulfillment, and the final fulfillment, but the idea that these prophecies are not filled with things that are relevant for the future would would be inaccurate. Okay well I want to get a mortgage. I really appreciate that answer in your spot yet. Thank you so much appreciate the question and I'm glad you get with college students, 866-34-TRUTH a let's go to Todd in Cedar Grove, North Carolina.

Welcome to the line of fire. Thank you Dr. Brown question is coming from Revelation chapter 19. I know there is disagreement about the timing of the marriage and marriage supper of the Lamb. I want to find a your understanding to those 2 Advanced Take Pl. in heaven or on earth right so if you believe in the pretrip rapture. You believe that Jesus catches us up at the beginning of the tribulation period immediately before catches us up. We feast in heaven. The marriage supper of the Lamb and then return to earth with him.

I don't see it like that at all. Number one, to simply the pretrip rapture. My understanding is the Lord return sets up his kingdom on the earth. And then there is this great feast that Isaiah 25 speaks about the this great feast.

This is when he has a destroyed death and he has raised us up to be with him forever. So I understand to take place in their feathers. Also, the supper that Revelation 19 mentions were all the beasts of the field, the birds of the air are called to eat the carcasses of those slain. That's another another supper right that spoken of the but my understanding is as best as we can see future chronology before it unfolds.

And there's always mystery how the future will unfold is that he will you will return us to establish his kingdom. And then as King. We will have that special merit supper with him here on the earth thing about fail because it made it all the faint happy people failed 40 returns of everything would happen on earth as pertaining to the marriage of Mary separate on like you. You know I came to believe that Vega post rehab rapture view about 25 years ago after believing in pretrip or probably about the first probably six or seven years after I was saved based, which is what the board Thomas rolled audited just save indicate the bay they had to of advanced take place it right at the beginning of the millennial came again look as I said when it comes to the future unfold in this always mystery things we can miss.

But, as best as I understand it I see it the same way yeah and Anton, I came to faith in the church that preached pretrip rapture. In fact, I heard that message from before even heard the gospel is also interesting Anton prophecy and all that and then after for five years. I just discovered it was in the Bible and then my views never changed since a creaking and I wrote a book about not afraid of the antichrist by would not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.

Of course we don't divide over that, but yeah I'm with you. Hey, thank you for the call Todd BC at the same way that you are a godless 866-34-TRUTH so were in our studio here in Fort Worth and what just happened you may have heard some noise what it was. Next: the line of fire. Hello are you there are you hello Dr. Brown yeah go ahead please start on it on the vertical direction of a question about the grammar. Daniel chapter 9 verse 25 of the week. If you read it the way someone like Toby or Fairwood. The utmost year struggling Shabbat. Under several inches Jimbo Schneider if you are just another question about that particular part at first the shovel and she should shine through.

But it doesn't actually vary from not miss very much. McGregor does not recite short-term human about how is often translated adjuster's return of special and it seems to me is no enter student. There are tickets with very few short-term human in Jerusalem and find out adjuster and 52-week shall return and shall be built and it finished me that there's something off your mind, or am I wrong or what first windchill and Heber Canary on cargo compartment right now was just curious where you learn cheaper because you're reading it very nicely of Frank you know I am just an amateur okay will good good good good money is really pronunciation and everything and yet nicely nicely read so far Dr. yes so so Nick basically you can make an argument either way, the way that you find in most Jewish translations is that you have a period of 49 weeks right so 7×7 and then that's when you have a she has not agreed, so this this anointed one prints then you have that so they can be the initial rebuilding time and and then the 60s appeared of 62 weeks of 434 years is a subsequent one and then you have another Michiana couscous cut off with nothing for himself. The way it's often translated in Christian translations. It argues for the 69 weeks and told Michio Magid. I have no problem number one with there being two different anointed ones mentioned in the context no problem whatsoever. The first being a Aurora leader involved with her the rebuilding of the temple and the second being the Messiah couscous cut off and this is the one at the end of the.

So I have no problem with reading it like that whatsoever doesn't doesn't take away anything from the significance of the prophecy of Bud to focus on your question, the root shoe is is often used just for once again. And because it's talking about, that the temple it's in the feminine form rather than a masculine form for was masculine would be you personally right so it is a feminine forms of teshuvah and they've been taught it will once again the street etc. once again be rebuilt so that that's that's all that it means there it's not.

It's it shouldn't be taken in and of itself is you will returner it will return, but rather, once again, it will be rebuilt so tissue beneath the tall would be taken together, and and you'll find no for example with the floodwaters and in Genesis hello pushover, which is literally a walking and returning it means going back and forth so that that's how it can often be used verbally so taken together with the patella once again. It will be built all right that's that's the best way to read it grammatically okay listen for whatever reason, it's hard for you to reply from you to hear that, but hopefully that answered the question. So again, teshuvah goes with the following with the following word and that is and will be rebuilt. So once again it will be guilty thank you for the question. Kubrick on the Hebrew there even great 86634 let us go to Roy was not there. Let us go to Victoria and Greensboro, North Carolina.

Walking to the line of fire. Hi Dr. Brown I hope you're doing okay yes I'm doing better than okay. Thank you, great, great, I have a question.

I am a mental health therapy and as a therapist and a believer. Bill believer, I get the question often from my client and I am I don't know.

I don't know what the day though I have been question about the guy parked in who professes to love God affected Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior extent them at the Lord's day gift.

Feel the father to a really bad depression, mental health, why they did get really overwhelmed and they thought, hope, and eventually commit that I'm often asked by the Loveland get the part and the salvation did they go to hail and I really don't know what the Telemann and honestly I have studied back-and-forth or not, the well.

The only unforgivable thing that I know in the Bible in blasting the Holy Spirit out there, but I don't I don't really know what to say but you can give Katie come in and I are absolutely some reference to yeah and you look, you're right in front line still with very painful issues so I have answered this before but I want to ask you a questions a mental health professional. You believe that some people because of real mental health issues can do things irrationally, that really if they were thinking clearly. They never would've done it. In other words, like someone in a court of law can be found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Maybe the governmental institution instead of a prison seducing thin people, either through depression, hopelessness, or some chemical imbalance can actually do something rational it's it's really not them. It's really it's it's something you know they they got so messed up with her there.

Their mind was so affected that there really not thinking rationally, you would agree that that can happen right absolutely, absolutely right.

So the first thing when it comes to suicide. You are right in saying that the Bible does not say this unforgivable that you could say will no murderer has eternal life. First John three and if you take your own life. Your murdering yourself and therefore you can have eternal life. But the idea that if I commit one sin that that forever damns me, I would question that if if my sin was rejecting God right then that would damn if my sin was renouncing Jesus is Lord and I die in that state than that would damn me, but if someone does something terrible you know let's let's say you you get discouraged. Every miserable time.

Some friends of both friends invite couch end up getting drunk you you driving that night and and in a drunken accident you crashed your car into a tree and die.

This is me your damn forever because of that it's it's a terrible way to leave this world and going to God's presence. But you don't just want to make the assumption that that one center didn't get to repent of it is that's the thought I didn't get to repent of it will their their sins we commit, we don't even know we commit right all of our lives.

Sometimes no sins of omission or commission I'm aware of. Sometimes God's mercy is right there, but the other thing is that I do believe that there are people who get in a certain situation they find no way they could be suffering from PTSD. It can't. You can't take the torment anymore or physical pain anymore and their dislike of me. I am sorry but in the they commit suicide only because, damn them for doing that and you being on the front lines of of mental health know the agony that some people live with. On the other hand, I can't just tell someone I know there with the Lord right my my Lord, I know there with the Lord. I aisle I don't know that I can say that but I'm certainly not consider with the commit suicide than there and how I would certainly not despair. If someone again renounces got I don't want you in my life out of my life with a clear head and understanding announces him and dies.

Whether could be lost right right but that's not the case in the vast, vast majority of situations that you're dealing with. So I would. I would not let Chris everything.

Sometimes people just think oh well it's it's a it's a there in a better place now here's a kid 17 years old been getting high and stealing money and living a miserable life in the they commit suicide within a better plate will know enough to suicide. This is, that's a magic ticket to heaven.

And the last thing I want to say you know we don't know where they are but with certain ocular center in heaven and they could well be lost before believer, especially if they have been through trauma and they're not themselves or in some agony situation or an deep depression I've never suffered deep depression but understand, you know, the world looks very different you in that situation there is no holy, absolutely pure gasoline better than it is not God or I'm I'm tired about you, but I do think that they allowed me.

In looking at the black noun because it makes me more empathetic and compassionate and I think about that but I have been down at the therapist, even to the point where I either through building. Thank you thousand 14 and fourth model back. I felt like I lost hope in that moment. If I did not have somebody around me a support system.

And guess what, that's what I do. If it's like I'm sorry I'm I'm getting kind of emotional but like a happy parent who have had can't commit the question and break them because I don't know what you listen again, thank you for your heart and that you don't just do this the professionally that you that you haven't become caustic and cynical. After seeing so much suffering. If this person was a believer and was in some type of trauma or pain.

I would hope for the best. Again, you can send you know for sure, but I would absolutely hope for the best and think of this. How is God revealed himself to us in Scripture right. What kind of goddess. He does say he knows our frame, he remembers that were dust. So let's say you got someone in in in chronic severe pain and and they can't sleep. They feel like they're losing their mind and then in the midst of that they get news of of your love one dying in a car wreck. And then there is of the care their caregiver abandons them in their in this plate. It's like okay just take a few the spells of the pains over his dog to sit you just snap there so damn you forever not see him as reveal that when Scripture so I will, I would say listen, let's have hope.

Let's have hope and if they really love the Lord may be, they were just ill in an impossible situation. So no way out but maybe maybe they did what they did, thinking that they were snowshoeing themselves before the enemy captured them and tortured them to their still haven't narrowed war trauma, etc. but you either. You can't stuff you to give the assurance write that you can say I'm telling for sure there with the Lord, but you can give hope a this is not the unpardonable sin it's is still is certainly possible that you be with them for a list of either where we thank you so much for the call. 866-34-TRUTH will be right back. Your calls will stay right there.

It's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 86643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown brought next week. All right, let's go to Jim in Atlanta, Georgia are welcome to light a fire hi, thanks for taking my call so I just have a quick question.

I'm not Jewish, technically, but I have friends that are making it do that and friends that are not met a cute. My question is I got my interact with them. Nonmetric views on Twitter and they'll tell me that if your mate yet you you're no longer Jewish and but they'll have they'll allow homosexual or native Jewish, but if you believe in Yeshua do not Jewish anymore, but I wonder where did they get that from that, like the rabbis photo more that Torah.edition yes so the authority, kind of all of the above that there is a debate within Judaism over this. The great majority of rabbis that I've dealt with over the decades, the vast, vast majority all recognize me as Jewish.

There was an apostate. You are confused or deceived or deceiving others, but they would Sam still Jewish out when I was getting baptized as a new believer.

My dad was concerned about it and talk to local rabbi and the rabbi said you know what happens to him after he is baptized is a baptized you so there is a statement in the Talmud that even if Israel's sins, Israel still Israel so based on that concept if it would be understood that a Jew was still a Jew because it's it is something beyond your practice. You can be a disobedient Jew, a nonbelieving Jew and atheist to Buddhist Jew right you could you could be living a pure life for an ungodly life. You're still a Jew so that would be the one concept so they look at me and say you're lost in your deceiving others of the commercial log, which is apostate.

Others would say well you know you're like a child to know finish bear which is a child that was born in captivity so you you weren't raised in real Judaism this week fell away, etc., but there are others that would say just like you can't be a vegetarian who eats meat then you can't be a Jew who believes in Jesus dislike if you say Jews for Islam you like with your Muslim you're no longer Jew, so it it again that I vast majority of rabbis and traditional Jews that I've dealt with for 50 years now. Also, yes you are a Jew, but your your deceived and misleading others. There are some would say because I'm not practicing Judaism, but quote practicing another religion that said they would see it. It wouldn't see it as holding to the biblical messianic faith, but I have joined another religion.

So I am out of the class of people called Jews, whereas an atheist was a practicing homosexual weather or somebody else. They haven't joined another religion and therefore they'd still be considered Jews, although about living by the Torah so that it is a debate and it's one that that's it it's gone for many many centuries. But overwhelming that it is it also true you got it true that like with different one of them is your ancestry really that the ancestry part of being Jewish. You can't really take that right right so you may not be practicing Judaism, but you're an ethnic you and in accordance Jewish tradition. A few mothers do if you Jewish, and the subject it's it's that simple grandmothers Jewish you Jewish because it is it is ethnic right so it would be in that sense, like if you're Hispanic or or race right you know, so a ethnicity or race that is who you are, even if you live differently than your ancestors.

Do so again, ethnically, you're Jewish or boy G.I. diet you that's a given.

And then the question is okay and look you could even go through through Israel's history and asked people why is it when they worshiped other gods, God still call my people your disobedience but your my people) August the gonna push back and say hey look, I'm just I'm I'm in the biblical faith you challenge your traditions and say you bet it and you rejected the Messiah and and that ultimately to be a true Jew in God's sight is to recognize who he is and follow his Messiah saw pushback in that way with my rabbinic friend say Jim thank you for the call in your thinking on the ethnic lines is exactly right. Let's go to Craig and Terry North Carolina. Welcome to light a fire, a doctrinal question about pretrip digital unit of the Colorado pretrip line. I don't know stuff (lightly one thing that I'm kind of stumbling over stars.

Second Thessalonians 2, six were talks about.

That's what will it which was withhold unfolds would be with moved and I think that is in the Holy Spirit. None of it because I believe us comfortless without the Holy Spirit.

That's the only thing that I have the hose me up from you so right, so it's a good question. Let's start second Thessalonians to one. As Paul writes their consistent with this loan today. Don't be disturbed is if you are to report a letter from us. That day Lawrence come said that databases concerning the coming of the Lord and are being gathered to him right so that's were waiting for waiting for his coming soon can be gathered to him. People would call that the rapture will gather to him so he says that day will not happen until the rebellion comes in. The man of sin is revealed to his ready set explicitly that there must be this final apostasy and the Antichrist must be revealed before were gathered to the Lord so He pretrip he's ready told us that and then you think that it's possible that a possibly apostasy comes because a lot of people believe that pretrip determine that it's definitely not as it's possible it's it's certainly a possibility. People just disappointed by failed prophecy, it is a possibility that we know in Matthew 2412. Jesus is because iniquity will abound, the love that many will wax cold. So certainly, that's a factor Jesus is ready talked about but and then remember that he starts off at some of the coming of the Lord are being gathered to him and then he says that that the Antichrist will be destroyed. With the coming of the Lord. So it must be PostScript so here's the other thing people cannot be saved without the influence of the Holy Spirit that according to the pretrip teaching during that the tribulation, a multitude will be say that no one could number also fearful of the saved right Anna and and that's when Jewish people will turn en masse to the Lord. So they're not doing it now with the Holy Spirit working and yet the Holy Spirit's take it out of the earth and all these people getting it saved more than ever before in history so that can't possibly be true.

So the restrainer let me ask you this what one holds back lawlessness will all write the law right so where you have strong law and order.

You have strong government with law and order then then you that pushes back against lawlessness. The man of lawlessness is revealed when that's taken out of the way and Paul speaks about he speaks better in two different ways. One of the more personally when it just as in it. So many of thought that he is talking such a way and he's being a little cryptic about it because it could be viewed. You take out strong governmental law and order leadership and that you have chaos you have anarchy. So if you just wrote it directly. It could of been taken as a you sent. Is this a threat against Caesar against the Empire or something like that. But that makes the most sense. Important factor Craig is my friend Craig Keener explained, and in his part of our book. Not afraid of the answer Christ but we don't believe the pretrip relation rapture pointed out, there are over 30 different interpretations of the restrainer, but for sure it can't be the church being taken out number one he's explicit in this passage that were waiting for the coming of the Lord, which he tells us in the first chapters in flaming fire. It's a public event taking vengeance on those who don't know God that's we are gathered to meet the Lord when he comes to destroy the answer Christ at the end of the tribulation. That's explicit there in second Thessalonians 2 as for what the restrainer is again different arguments, but it could just be that's that structure of a strong leader law and order taken out of the way.

Now you have lawlessness and chaos into that void. Now the center Christ. Hey, he's gonna take over and bring everything under his power. That's most natural way to read it again. It can't be the church taken away, the Holy Spirit taken out of the way and help more people get saved without the witness of the body more people get saved without the Holy Spirit never got saved in history. Now I don't see it that way with all respect to my pretrip friends who differ. Let's contend earnestly for the lost. That's of godly lives. Let's shine brightly. Let's be living in readiness for the Lord's return. Let's learn from each other. But let's not divide over and time differences hate. Thank you for the calls. Much appreciated.
