The following program is recorded content created by the Truth Network you got questions, we've got answers phone lines are wide open stage for the line of fire with your host activist all the international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown was the director of the coalition of conscience have the president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire valves like always. 866-34-TRUTH index 866-34-TRUTH your job is Dr. Michael Brown thanks friends for joining us on the line of fire.

This is Michael Brown it's Friday, which means you got questions. We got answers any question of any kind that relates in any way to the subject matter recovery here on the line of fire.

Anything I write about talk about off the air 866-34-TRUTH 87884 and as always, we welcome calls from those who differ with us, even the strongest of terms with that restricted phones will start with Renée in Pahrump north of Nevada. Welcome to the line of fire. Thank you Dr. Brown you are my hero of bless your heart. I wanted to know about bail in the temple. We have the account that it was torn at the crucifixion yet and I'm wondering if there are any rabbinic account or any extra biblical accounts about that they'll and what happened before the destruction of the temple as they were making sacrifices so you can you shed any light on that yes so three things. First, the only reference we have specifically to the tearing of the veil is in the gospel accounts. We don't have it in rabbinic literature. That's the first thing secondly there is an account in rabbinic literature. It's hard to date with precision, but it speaks of the. The temple doors being swung open and in a row by having church to rebuke them in and the doors closing some sink that that could be a reflection. In other words it in the memory of the people he got passed on differently and exaggerated. That's the closest we have the swinging open of the temple doors if you just search online for that swinging open of temple doors Rabbi rebuke you.

You'll find that further details on it but the most interesting thing that we do have is this. It's in the Talmud so this is the third point it's in the Talmud tractate Yoma which is the tractate dealing with the rituals and laws and customs for the day of atonement, Yoma Cermak for the day. Your months 39 a NBA is the front side of the page be the backside of the page there. There is a discussion about what happened on the day of atonement that you had these these two urns and within them. You had two different lots really sees me, having earned was two different lots in it. One of the lots said for the Lord, meaning that this goat was the one that would be brought into the temple and sacrifice to the Lord. The other was for us to sell meeting the goat that would be sent away and this this goat would be would be sent to the wilderness and biblical days within Old Testament days, but by the second Temple days there. There would push it off a cliff. Okay, so according to Jewish tradition. When the priest reached into the earned when he pulled out the lot. That said, for the Lord with his right hand. That was a good sign if he pulled out the lockets of the Lord with his left hand was a bad sign. Conversely with the coprocessor of those one tradition. Another tradition said that on the day of atonement, that there was a a Crimson cord that was tied on the temple doors some of those who say on the goat of the head of the that the horn of the goat that was being sent out into the wilderness or off the cliff to go for us to sell and if that turned wife that was assigned to God, except that the sacrifices if it didn't turn white. Then then the people would think God did not accept the sacrifices, then the last thing was that the the oil on the lampstand you you would write you would you would like from one side to to the to the next side so the one that she go out first is the first one that was lit but when that we got last that was a sign got accepted the sacrifices when it didn't happen that would be sign. He didn't accept what it says that there was a high priest, Shimon HUD Siddique for the couple hundred years before the time of Jesus to 300 years that the entire 40 years that he was high priest. All three signs came up positive meaning all those years got accepted all sacrifices and then in the intervening years.

Some years yes some years known it was a no people grieve the that God did not accept the sacrifices of the David tone for the says last 40 years before the temple was destroyed, all signs came up negative every time. For 40 years and of course Jesus dies four years before the temple was destroyed. That to me is a powerful recollection I talk about in similar books was found in the Talmud Yoma subelements, Yoma 39 a and B is reread that account. Thank you so much you are yeah you are very welcome 866-34-TRUTH of course traditional rabbis and some conflict misusing the text. It is nothing to do with Jesus obviously got really like that.

Obviously on the super differently with God saying no more no more. I've provided a better way right 866-34-TRUTH, let's go to Sam's in McAllen Texas. Welcome to the modifier good afternoon Dr. Brown always got to interact with future ministry and great black and I have a question about what's known as the trolley problem I was not familiar with it myself and collaborated on a YouTube video last night. It is some type of you are utilitarian type of argument that your hat okay you got three people tied down to attract the trolley track the trolley at coming and you see the handle where you can turn off the tracking turn the trolley to move on to a different tactic would you.

The problem being dulled after they know the good one per think tied on that second track so if you do not think we people are going to die if you do something, one per think it's going to die. What do you do and didn't do the people thought of making this argument Are Complicating Things or What It Know It. Three Older People in a Baby. What Could Be Critical Race Theory, and Enjoying Peterson and Whatnot Goat It It It Seems like Very Much like a Subjective Type of System, but I Wondered Okay What Would Be Thought of the Biblical the Font, If Any, to a System like That and It Aptly, We Understand That the Source of Truth Is Not What Is It Not the Greatest Good about of the Thoughts of Good Is Not the Greatest Good Scripture but I, Felt Sort of Struggling with How What I Answer a Question like That. Yeah I Saw You Laughing Yeah of Course the First Thing I Would Do Is Short-Circuit the Whole Argument, Because Ultimately It's It's Not Unless You Just into Some Philosophical Debate. It's It's Not a Productive Argument That That Is Going to Help Someone Making a God of the Choices Much As a Gotcha Kind of Thing. So What I Would Say Is I Guess the Lord God Told Me from Liking Wisdom to Ask Monogamy for This Artist, Lord, What I Should Do. Make It Simple Theft Is Not Short-Circuit the Whole Thing and Obviously That Case Is the Lord, Show Me What to Do. Some of What to Do Now in Principle, the Noble and Right Thing Is If You Can Sacrifice Your Own Life to Save the Lives of Others You Do It Right, You Know, for Example, Your Your Parent and and One Your Kids Is Drowning and and You See You Know Some Alligators Swimming Towards the Meal You Jump in and You Get Your Kid Interests from Onshore and If You Die in the Process. You Do It That That's That's What Parent Would Do. Obviously, Say, Hey, I Am under Lay My Life down to to Help Others, but in Other Situations That Are Very Complex and Difficult Is Not Necessarily a Right or Wrong Answer, Especially the More Equations You Had into It but Say Look This Is What We Do Know Is That God Did the Thing That None of Us Would That He He Sent His Perfectly Righteous Son to Die for Every Evil Criminal Ugly Thing We Ever Did.

None of Us Would Ever Do That. He Did It.

Jesus Died for Nazis.

Jesus Died for Terrace Jesus Died for Adulterers Jesus Die for Pedophiles. Jesus Died for Each of Us so I Will You Know I Get. I Am Not Philosophically Inclined to Foos William Ln., Craig he would give your brilliant philosophical answer to the question. This is not the way I'm I'm I'm oriented so again I would short-circuit busing, unless the Lord I turn it into an opportunity to preach the gospel and in the and go from there with it. Talk about God's amazing love. But the masses really quickly.

Was there something that was must come out of this and in other words, was there some principal Laura or argument that was supposed come out of this. I don't. I'm not sure because I I jumped into the live stream in the middle of it so they were just talking about product utilitarian argument directed deontology and I heard any of the terms before label going back and forth about you know the problem of you to go to to carry genetic objective and and whatnot. So I am not sure where thought of the end goal was a look at what you trying to get to those thanks for those who have more background in this there. There will be familiar with all of this in the arguments, etc. ultimately what what we want to communicate is say that there lots of difficult moral choices that we want to operate on the principle of want to live my life in such a way that I am willing to give in sacrifice for your well-being because that reflects the heart of God not notice it.

If I am the bread with my family and I just received my paycheck and I'm responsible, go home and pay the rent sign the contract and responsible to do it and I can if I don't pay the rent. My phone we kicked out on the street also will be no food for my own children. I have an ethical responsibility to go home and use that money to pay the rent if I see some poor person hurting. I do not have the ethical right to say once you take the money for my family and get kicked out and and violate violate agreement that I've signed that would be unethical even though I'm supposed to do some compassion that God might tell me.

Give all your money away and it's a word from God to do it and I do it by the time I get home.

He's given me five times as much but see this, reface principles come in the leading of the Spirit comes in so that there's probably more to this again philosophically, but honestly how I would respond if I was in the debate and pushed in these ways because it's going to be an endless argument with some going for a gotcha thing and it let's try to come away with principal say thank you for the question. Wish I could give you more philosophical responses that are 866342. But hey, we cover specializations right.

That's why can give you answers about rabbinic literature about Hebrew and other things but I will be weaker when it comes to philosophy and science are eight 866-34-TRUTH 87884. We will be back momentarily on the other side of the break. Hey, have you read my new book has God failed you has been a blessing to you. I really believe some hearing from readers that it's give you life change or even a lifesaver to pray God will use it even blessed by the book on Amazon post a review and tell a friend share it with a friend that he could be just within it. Has God failed in finding faith sure God is real. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown as friends for joining us on the far you got the students that answers phone lines wide open, 86634 treat them get to my right screen, here, here we go and we will go over to Maggie and Austin, Texas.

Welcome to the line of fire, thank you know I hurt her frequently.

Truly God and firmly that I don't need you to preach. And now I'm fairly it seems like Christian referred to God the father and he that tangibly sometime thank you believe in the Trinity and and father are to person. We pray to the father but everyone said that our personal relationship with you that is not matter if not all even out.

Jesus came to reckon father felt my question and are we to be seeking that daily personal relation right first. I answer in the broadest terms, God, I'm seeking to draw close to God when I'm seeking to draw close to God. I'm not making a major distinction that I'm seeking to grow close to the father or the son or the spirit.

I fully understand that their different roles and functions that relate differently in different ways, but when I'm just crying out with all my heart all God, God of long if you are one draw close to you, will glorify you want to honor you on thinking of the one God, the overwhelming emphasis of the Bible.

This is one God and one bottle so I will start their secondly, in my general praying.

Yes, the patterns we pray to the father, God wants us to come to most children in that sense, leaning on him, looking to him as the source of everything so if men and my mindset. I'm looking to the Lord to do certain things and act in certain ways. It will be very natural for me to pray to the father and doing it because of the nature of what I'm doing. If what I'm doing this kind of having a heart to heart about what's going on struggles of things it may be very natural for me to be talking to Jesus and then second Corinthians 1314 says that we have fellowship corn in the Greek with the spirit right so what I'm experiencing in terms of that sense of divine witness or leaving or hearing God's voice. That's the spirit I'm interacting with so we can make it complex. We can make it relationship relational and simple suits me on with the relational simple way first. Overall I'm seeking God. I want the blessing of God. The smile of God. The anointing of God the grace of God in my life. And then secondly as a relating I don't pray to the spirit is no biblical precedent really praying to the spirit. But I am relating. As I relate so sometimes on journaling my prayers. They say Lord. Sometimes they say, Abba. Sometimes I'm just talking to Jesus and it's going to come out in that way.

So you it's it's almost like in a relationship when you are dealing with someone as a friend or as an employer with a family member that you deal with that same person in different ways so depends on what I'm doing in my interacting with God in terms of if there are specific aspects of dealing with father versus son versus spirit that makes sense to on a practical level aren't God. God had gone there. No, I'm saying that I'm thinking of one God. That's my primary orientation. There's one God, right. One God created the universe, one God save me be without one God, forever and ever and ever. First commandment in the love the Lord your God, the Lord of the Lord is one, so the unamused term God had been because it's rare terms thinking God and it's totally generic when I'm saying I'm speaking of 1.a relational level depending on how I'm relating to God I might be relating more to the father or more to the son, I might be thanking Jesus for dying for me and being merciful and kind and gracious and employing my heart out to him just friends of friends use a set of called you my friends right and then other times and just coming as a child to my father's from the leading Morton fossil at different times will relate more to the father or the sun or experience the spirit. Those are just different aspects of how we relate to God I wouldn't make a theological I would make it some kind of rules for think of it in mathematical formulas and that's reason get hung up, make it more relational and generic and I think things will love the questions will go away if you plug your prayer like this can do this in the and they got all their methods down. I step back from that unfunded helpful in that regard.

I specifically miss.

If that sort things out for you then get back to us.

After all, and tell us about your journey right sure thing, 86634 we go to Eddie in Orlando, Florida. Welcome to the line of fire. Hi Dr. Brown hey how are very large wooden doing. My family must be so the question I have is the Bible together me my life and we were coming across in the book of Samuel the Revelation where Jonathan and David Wright SOI a lot about a lot of the I get the debates I've heard amongst those who are of the gay community or whatever against Christian and direct their relationship, and I wondered just of someone who not only my wording. Sometimes you just want to be there quick to answer those things like I is there something maybe to the source of the originally was written back translated better to look at their affection. Jonathan had for David. He was a lovely thing about like how could that be like I get better interpreted correctly. Yeah so nothing on this in a single sexual word that's used the additional word in terms of having a sexual relationship. There's no description even of passionate kissing in terms of kissing one another.

Everybody in the Bible kisses each of the rights of a footnote in the book a queer thing happened to America was like everybody who kisses on his family members and friends and just integrate with all of the holy kiss New Testament so there's nothing there even exchanging of certain garments either was was done of the covenant of what it is.

A city stripped naked truth is that a single sexual reference in anything that said those that spoke of is is is love. We know that that Jonathan was married with children and that we know that David had many wives and got into all kinds of trouble because of his lust for women solar at the very most gay activist or theologian would try to argue that David was bisexual, but you can even say gay because he's clearly attracted to women and then brings destruction of his own life because of his lust for Bathsheba right so clearly David was not gay. Clearly, Jonathan was not gave even more clearly David. Not a single sexual term is used and when David says in second Samuel, the first chapter as he's lamenting the death of Jonathan and and your love for me was was greater than the love of women, Jonathan's incredible devotion and in the other thing is that we know categorically that there were prohibitions against homosexual practice in the Old Testament and in the ancient world in which they live.

Know the larger ancient world and the idea that the biblical authors would be celebrating this openly when the Torah ready blatantly condemns homosexual acts is is the most absurd thing. It would be like in the midst of the New Testament saying all and by the way there. There millions of other gods and thousands of other ways to God. Aside from Jesus, the beak be completely ridiculous so on.

On all fronts. It fails to the point that I've gotten major Bible commentaries by gay scholars and even they debate whether David Jonathan should be looked as if it if it was so clear to them, they would be debating so it it breaks down on on every level, lack of terminology that sexual David's explicit interest in and women and the overall condemnation against homosexual practice that we know was there. In ancient times, in ancient Israel right thank you so much that I ordered for regular loafer are being believers, so from their communication. I directly introduce to you through your teaching throughout the king okay gathers this yesterday as a good yeah yeah Lafleur thanks Eddie, thanks for the kind words. Thank you in advance number and it's the light a fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown to the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown eyes for joining us on the line of fire broke 64 truth and with that we go back to the phones and let's see starting with the guy in Sacramento, California. Welcome to the line of fire your third year. Hey you like to eat 3024 indicate that God is going to work for the winter and I'm speculating myself about what percentage of builder and what would be the great point between those who work back to the land and those who work back the land if you thought about that. Or maybe I'll start making you think about that right. So why, why do you take Ezekiel 3624 in in that way when you use the word force because it will take you from the nation. Regular wearing back right so what made you cry out for help.

In the event regional context, this is the Babylonian exile than it has an enzyme application swap with the original context is Babylonian exile so exiles wanting help crying out so is nothing about force their white lighting that will make it happen.

You will require it to happen and the increase the persecution of abuse throughout the pool well I guess I just want to hang on that for a second. It doesn't say force right. I'll take so take and bring that could be people crying out for help. Or it could be God puts it in the hearts and they want to could be those just as well so that's my big thing. I don't want to draw something on it. Now you can go to other passages as funds went to other passes like Jeremiah robust fishers and hunters seeking them out and let me speak of something more. So here's a woman so I was a challenge that one point per your overall question is a great question. So here's the deal. You have to look at the thing itself. Anti-Semitism is ugly is destructive is is hateful is demonic is is based on lies and wants to see destruction of the Jewish people. So it's bad.

We expose it we resisted at the same time with Satan's freedom God can use for good. So Satan may be stirring up anti-Semitism and God uses that to bring people back to land because the thing I want. I gotta get outta here, so you have veto massive influx of of Russian Jews some decades back that was because of a massive spike of anti-Semitism in Russia. I'm sure you're seeing a spike in juice coming from France. Jews come from England because of rising anti-Semitism so God certainly uses the things the things themselves maybe evil and wrong but God uses it look when when Israel declared its independence in 1948 there about 800,000 views in the surrounding Muslim nations and they were driven out. They were told you can't be here anymore.

It's very difficult expulsion leaving so much behind having to start a new life in not having so many things you would want to bring with you very difficult because you said so people meant for evil and God can use that for good. As for percentages are how it works on can't say of the vast majority of those that go to Israel today go willingly of their own accord, but many of them have a fire lit under them because what's happening in the society around them so desolate, so have thought about this is the one passage I push back a bit, but the check I Jeremiah 16 is an example and and you'll find a little bit more.

That seems to be more aggressive as God is going to regather his people now could it increase in intensity at the end of the ages we get closer and closer with her with its tenures from our hundred years from now could be that that anti-Semitism worldwide gets so intense that Jews must've no choice but to flee out. Israel could be. Could be. But II can't quantify that in any way. Thank you sir for the question. I appreciate the bottom line of what I'm saying is we should combat anti-Semitism because it's evil and wrong. But God was he does but we should combat the evils of it and expose the evils of white, 86634 let's go to Caleb in Dayton, Ohio. Welcome to light a fire around here. Thank you for everything that you advocate for on here like I learned a lot, especially with you advocating for Israel and and and all that I am involved with a high school ministry that it may think some backlash of their political stand on not allowing LGBT Q people that identify as gay or lesbian, or transgendered hold position staff or you know hold volunteer leadership roles, the been under a bit of scrutiny lately.

That is kind of carried the whole movement, and I think there's two sides of the big encouraging and discouraging encouraging feels like another spiritual warfare that is proving that you know God is moving on and the carpet discouraging because an age where young people are so influenced by social media.

Social justice in general, eyes becoming harder and harder to advocate for the gospel to young people because there is a deterrent that well you know as Christians we don't we don't believe the biblical be involved in homosexual relationship, or we don't leave biblical that identifies another gender or change your gender that got you starting to become the largest attorney and I was wondering you know what you talking about this so frequently. Maybe from the standpoint of how you how would you go about advocating to a generation of people that is really quick to turn away from God because of that belief system right so you start by getting to the heart that statistics won't won't do it that just throwing Scripture them for many won't do it with. They have to see us, because God is so good and so loving and so kind and so compassionate that that he has a better way and that, if you really love people. If you really want what's best for them. Then you can go for this better way as well as its for a lot of young people if you just start with theological truths. Many of them are not there because there they're not listening and they they had a negative use of the Bible or you just bigoted or we simply, this Bible translations.

They get all the soundbites down right so you grab their heart and in a great way to do that is by testimony have have you watched the in his image movie I'm not on YouTube if you go to in his image.movie in his image.movie, but I'd encourage you to do is sit down and watch it. It's it's pretty long, so you have found the time to do it. Watch it with the kids together.

The high school group of Christians I was I was ministering to pastors online old couple months ago.

Some weeks back and afterwards redoing Q&A and one of the pastor said that the kids in their middle school to Christian kids completely bought into the transgender narrative and they change their views and he said we watch the movie with them in his image. He said in all of them shifted back. They embrace what Scripture says their views completely changed and the testimonies are so powerful, so in his image.movie you can watch at first as per your email and then watch it for free and then sit down with them so I would start there powerful testimonies. The stories love compassion, so they don't hear anger, hatred, anything from you.

Of course it's not your heart anyway. I will, I would nurse him with that.

Okay then with it and in his image movie will do this to help ground and what Scripture says he looks the Bible is clear and there's a reason for so first you appeal to their heart grabbed the man without the stories. Second, you can ground them in in Scripture. Third, show them the trajectory show them where the thing goes in and find things that they definitely disagree with that. They definitely think a wrong associate that's where it goes.

And that's why Gaza was Thomas Dunkel here because it leads to this and this and this is trajectory. That's really big because will see no I don't agree with that honor like that's a kibitzing that's right goes and then lastly in terms of of pressure within the school. This was no legal right to force a Christian organization to have kids and in leadership or service that are not. That are not a Christian anymore then you can force it on a gay group that's in the school of so I would I would reach out to the liberty Council reliance defending freedom.

If these major Christian organizations and tell them what's happening and sometimes they just write a letter to the school.

That's it.

That settles it right there on the spot that I've seen it happen in front of my eyes and I've had people at with humans happen where schools are cracking down. You can't do this you can't do that is got a letter from ADF liberty Council does it. They backed off because they they were they were overstating things they were going beyond their their own legal rights there so it's a kids hearts watch in his image.movie get them grounded in Scripture. So there clear on what the Bible says, then children trajectory. This is where things lead-now okay that's wrong right that's where this goes and thenceforth push back legally and and encourage the kids. This is just what was your God put us here for this met Monica's he knows that your strong in him in it together with you to make a difference in and this is what this generation needs, didn't Jesus call us to go against the grain didn't Jesus tell us to to swim against the tide didn't tell us that we be misunderstood and hated.

This is our moment to shine in the more people hate us.

The more we do love them back because they need Jesus in one of these kids get to come to privately send hat I got tired of struggling. I think I need the Lord to encourage and this is why they're there. This is whether there by the way, if you had kids that were really ready to go for of God they could sign up for clubs with a totally disagreed on atheist club or whatever and say I'm a committed Christian. I like to refer the leadership here, or the getting the gay club. I believe that the Bible says that homosexual practice is sinful and I like center for leadership promises that you can't say will of course it's just want the same treatment vary by some of the Lord give you grace. Caleb and and may you erase up a solid army of young people in Jesus name is Francis what time of this for 17 years now is we knew this would be the great issue scary will be right that it's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 6643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown come back to the line of fire, 8664 truth. Let's go to Fred in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Welcome to the line of fire.

Hello Dr. grounded good to be on.

Thanks. My question is a question about the motivation of why the attack on Israel happened like the hum by Kamath and like other terrorist group and I'm asking why is there like how much of of it is like a religious aspect like that barrel Islamic and II know their horses and like the Islamic Scripture like stocky Muslim 1767 that you might like to expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and things like that and on it like a lot of a big like one of the key like reason this Islam are the fundamental beliefs of Islam. Why is it never talked about like on the mainstream news and stuff that it's absolutely religious in its most fundamental way is not talked about the mainstream media because there going by different there. They're looking at is more superficial things that are going on in the society and then listening to the propaganda that's been put forward by some of the participants, but here there were specific issues that came up that were used as provocations by Hamas to start trying to to murder Jews.

The two things being one of alleged violations of the Al-Aqsa mosque and is really answer would be you plan to protest riots you are ready to disrupt. We had to go in there and call the violence that is really answer the other was the potential eviction ultimately of 13 families from Shea Star neighborhood and in Jerusalem and it's a long-standing legal case, but looking it's being looked at is as posted in fans are fans being driven out by the Jewish occupiers against was presented. In any case, must use those things as provocations to start out trying to kill as many juices they could and of course Israel Defense forces fought back forcefully to to shut this down and take out which of their terrorist infrastructure, but for Hamas fundamentally it's not it's political because it's religious. The issue is that the Jews are usurpers.

The Jews have no right to be there in Islamic theology, Islamic mindset it. Islam is not just about extending peace Islam something piece slumming submission, so the goal of Islam is to bring the entire world in submission to a law just like you could say the Christian goal is to make disciples of the nations.

The goal of Islam is to bring people in submission to a law and you have territorial conquest in the process. So if you take over an area becomes Islamic that is now under Islamic authority you have you have two worlds you that you have Darl Islam and Darrell Harp you have that the world of Islam and and in the world of the sword, so that's, that's, which are at battle with and if you can conquer certain area sold Ottoman Empire ruling over Jerusalem and and and Palestine. For it to now come under Jewish control when it had been wrested from the filthy Jews, the descendents of apes and pigs as Islam would see them and and and now in Jewish control that's that's a part and now the Jews are there and they've they've expelled the native population. The Muslim population so there there occupiers on top of it so fundamentally, stands for the eradication of the Jewish state, it would technically say such radical Jews all around the world, but Jews in Israel must be driven out so it is fundamentally ideological a check Dennis Prager's most recent article he makes clear, it's about religion and he's it. It sums things up correctly so it ultimately is religious battle. That's why it's been such a tough nut to crack.

Because of this fundamental religious objection.

Okay thank you Dr. Brown.

Also, David would I've heard his name talk about it topic before dwell yeah go to Dick Davis's no holds barred straight straight assessment of where Islam stands on this and will expose the that the wrong mentality behind absolutely. So we pray for that for the Palestinians. We pray for positive emotions we pray for Hamas and we we want to see God's best for them. But that's good to begin with repentance.

Hey, thank you for the call. I appreciated all right. We got Thomas keep going. We go to Alex in Buffalo, New York.

Welcome to light a fire hello that a question about… 13 minute talk about how like Don was done the like to pray to the Lord for like the time to stop the vacant battle at Israel, and Israel stopped and the fog stopped when Joshua prayed, but then doesn't the fund not move because the earth revolved around the thought and the like yet. Was there a bunch of questions that come out of it right like if if the son did stop in its course because I mean everything in the universe is moving right and is a certain certain way, but with the earth is going around the sun, but in typical that the body's observation language we do to this day the sun rose the sun.

Sometimes a sunset right we use that credit line actually move right so I say right stop the sun from setting so it's observation now. I imagine Joshua's mind. He thought the someone around the earth. You know that with you would think so. Rising stock that, however, God did he did it but to do it would cause like massive upheaval in in in the solar system right and then upheaval in other ways in the universe. That was it, such as like slow this one thing down because everything and just as the first to choosing observational language as if the sun was going around that there is no just like us and God slow the sunset stuff the sunset is because we gotta get here before dark.

Design from setting how God did it, that's only because he's gone. I mean, there is no other possible way it can happen other than an extraordinary miracle of large proportion right out that letter to satisfy. I heard this thing you know, decades ago was a believer that NASA scientist did the study and is there going back in the history of the universe there is a day missing and someone found Joshua 10, the center, that explains it is just a myth that's that's an old myth. There's nothing to it but anyway it's it's it's a nice story but it's just a myth go yet.

I probably got like what you like an operator, but I just thought about like that though the Bible Holy Spirit live like the people he probably would like the Lord stop the earth removing the like pumped up, but I so here's just a thing. Here's the thing. The Bible has been with us for parts of the Bible over a period of of over 3000 years right 3500 years in certain parts written so if something was written that was scientifically correct.

Today, let's say, the Bible talked about the earth going around the sun, then the total time compared to Copernicus. Basically everybody would've thought that the Bible is wrong because it had that wrong. So the Haskins observational language and even today, like their things were sure about what I would then we find out were actually wrong about it. We had recess had suffered what exactly I looked at him.

If the Bible said and the earth stopped going around the sun for the spirit of time that everyone assembled, it can't be true because we know the sun goes round the earth, so it's Riley was observational language rather than whatever scientifically correct in a particular generation are you good okay all right God bless you man and we have time for one more call and that's what we'll do a hunter in Hartford Alabama your last but not least, welcome to the broadcast.

I remember a very dark law.

Thanks, Marco dialogue with a woman, Elder are all woman. 30 year a medium number of birth to me that I'm having a little bit apart a good answer to become first. First Peter chapter 3 verse 21. I don't know the believe you will be back about the muddy drug property for the board right and that the benefit control. For velvet you don't want take that that that but Berkeley was the baptism melt anything in the baptism is a saving. I disagree with how would you respond to that thing right. So first I would go to all of the verses that you speak about being justified by faith and asking to see except those we agree that baptism is important that baptism is a command that baptism is part of obedience in the Lord and part of what he requires of us, as is his children and that's what you have in the Bob repent and be baptized, etc. but I would first go and and I'm unfortunately short on time slip me also encourage you to check out some of the James White's debates with most of with Mormons as well or Karam CAR M.org and check on their mature Mormons, but I got all the verses it's about being justified by faith and ask him to see except those simple bikes of the one and not the other. You want me except this I want you to accept these and being saved. Social greed can be brought it so it can baptism as part of our deliverance, but baptism is part of our declaration of death to sin, etc. this a larger complex of being saved, being delivered as opposed to just born again, I would point to the larger context of our Outlook cleansing identification is dying to send a living to God with that rotted time left to take up more of less.
