The following program contain sensitive content listener discretion is advised previously on lantern rescue by naming the living. What are the way. By I don't pray beware there had a real hard time getting back the money and the training right now because the program there identified within the property adopted that are going to be managing the survivor helping debilitated testimony indicated between the survivor and its welcome to lantern risk ministry progress educated to bring light into the darkness of human trafficking.

It's time to light the way to freedom. This is lantern rust. We tell the stories we talk about rest, we empower you to do something about it was once said, let it not be said I was silent when the welcomes lantern rescue and really another action-packed episode is were going to another area of the country in the Caribbean and so Mark is a big operation yeah we you hay the last couple shows were able to update people on Eastern Europe and Ukraine ended the work there still going and then also the work around the world. You were able to talk about West Africa, a specific release of things and lash out and then really a country work work I can avoid it where it is just because this operation involved a lot of government officials that were arrested but we do have a full task force in this country.

We've got a great task force leaders as well as investigators who do a great job and then the computer specialist fixing that country and you they are, like West Africa is not ballpark probably doing a great job but that still you know takes our oversight, training, involvement, time and leadership in TC's been vital in that as well and so, let him take it from there. What are you know we had this operation on with the shows that air but it was right now is about. It was about a month ago that we did it and pass it off and start off talking talk about this mission, which lantern was a big success, except one. Several levels so there were four of us to and country operators, investigators we met with them. Initial goal was to train up a SWAT unit in this country to actually serve warrants to ignores all mechanical stuff that needs to happen at the end of an investigation. So for three days, we were able to train them up one Tom small unit tactics somewhat and handling and other things. You know, just like Intel gathering before laid home how to secure guys or potential bad guys and all those sorts of things and in that planning to create a really cool relationship with the Col. of that unit very squarely individual that we had our respect for and clearly his troops that I regard as well.

So one phase of the reoperation that was highly successful gender that we were rewarded with great relationships but also on honorable things coming from them back toward the guys, so it's always fun.

You're also able to receive scriptural instruction with love and I were part of so Joe I wanted to comment on that because we have our full-time task force investigators who are great door kickers and investigators in any partnership we pray partnership with the SWAT unit for that country. So is not local SWAT. The local police forces while you are for the whole nation, and we've also drink some commandos that country, but this is a national level SWAT so TC and note operator Chris to Downey and Grant all did a fantastic job and I was there to participate in a course in help. I just want to comment on TC. You remember when the Bibles were given out the first set a lesson. This probably never happened.

Imagine you're in this country are SWAT member you went to law enforcement. Maybe you are commendable for nag on the specialized unit in your big and bad in all that right these you why guys show up to you know you're going to train you will tactics within the first day after the first few hours we stopped for lunch with okay that's on the use of you and we give them all a Bible in their language and then begin to really walk them through the gospel in a way that makes them think and you comment about how they receive that cool Martin expectations and one lieutenant in the very first thing in said training and preparing for days just to get ready for us to be there. Okay you and have script should be a part of that you think you got all these young tough guys ready to run through walls everything but it's amazing.

They'd take to that that matters to them.

The relationship of course we know that the gospel is the answer to all be sent and interestingly enough, there is one guy who end up, not wanting the Bible, but we got an envelope marked you want those 30, had an interesting week aggressively just to see them totally dead again and they were taking his Bibles implement settable group – taking care of them.

Cool actually on the watching the good part of really receptive.

It wasn't like they like it will do this because the American operator. To train us know they man they were intent to me. The got his Bibles. They opened up to every passage there just you know all looking into it, reading it, listening, engaging it only we had full conversations with everybody. I mean just full.

We through a theological question now and man. It became a room discussion and so so: it is so important we tell him listen, you know it's not enough to be a physical warrior you have to be a spiritual warrior to do the job that you do for your country and the do the job that we are asking you to do with us yet to be solid, emotionally and spiritually, you know. And that's why were pouring into the oven and we hope that they those that don't know Christ will come to Christ.

To that activity in action well against to see whether appetite you know what happened with the guy who did not he actually you actually got in trouble actually raising new recruits and actually got pulled from the training so maybe the center of the Bible.

So I think maybe just one final point on this service Mark actually the end of one of those conversations were talking about the different noted spiritual man, physical man architecture but appointed him, but I could tell matter to them and Martin said to the group work. I know many many warriors who were great physically, but came home broken from the wars and had to be put back together had to get their feedback on themselves with the gospel in the Scripture you know they went there clearly listening to that and it's true. So very foundational point and some specialness unique on there not a lot of portable none that I know other organizations are actually doing things this way so against significant levels is getting you know our training facility.

That week was above average. We were using houses that had been was the word TC they were not livable.

They were on the side of a mountain and in any second.

They can experience a landslide that was weird. We go hiking up a mountain village on the Lego we have a training so we can use appear carrying gear, guns everything you know, we go up and looking at these these homes that were built but then they were taken off the market or they were not allowed to finish and hold because some of them started to experience a landslide on the side of the mountain so you know when you're on the third floor. One of those things are just hoping that having 20 guys jump around and you know or more that it doesn't decide the slide at that moment you know is beautiful and it was a beautiful view gorge out of the whole island you guys think of it, enjoying the view right that's right but nonetheless you got training engine was was good.

I think TC maybe you could talk a little bit about the scenario trainings that we did.

I mean no I know that our listeners understand everything that we take people through but maybe you can talk about the scenario training interpreter so a lot of times countries littering our PowerPoint a lot of lecture while talking so that the training we do is very dramatic, but in order to know that the operators of some of the skills, knowledge. We finished with a scenario. Several scenario-based training that would simulate the best we can in the environment. We have the kind of work that they would be doing there were going to serve a warrant so they court". A hotel and they.

Mark was a nightclub nightclub scene and they had to run recon and come back and report Intel none actually come and the place of arrest people and rescue victims of trafficking and they had to work through all that in the last nerves actually two teams of the time so is interesting to see them go Mark on what your thoughts were about their level of success with that had some I think one of the bay. Success is when you run that scenario and the Lieut. looks over at me. I mean after the paper, saying guys okay the way we have done this is always been wrong in the way you guys are showing this.

This is right and we have to adapt.

When any basis and we have to get the number of people like this is big and you know where we help us letter to is that has to now that authority has to be given not just to that unit. That unit commander, but to the prosecutor and those in that country who are hurt issuing out the operation may be in there calling up the number of you know operators that are needed only word word changing the environment there for the whole nation how they operate as SWAT you know and how the do these these type of operation. So yeah, I think it was that was is great when that will look that this one. Lieut. thought he knew everything okay. There's always a few when you start entraining there. The ones here know that it is try to impress you as an American you know they're trying to come across. They've Artie learned everything in the realities is they don't but he at that point he could see the light go off in his head. He was like oh my goodness okay this is this is way different is what needs be done so we were able to watch them graduate. These ceremonies, Mark was able to pass out to certain certificates for Japan's a lot of photos and things like that but in which you might think, was not a big deal but actually to these guys. It is a very big deal to get the training to not get it any other way.

And so to see them. I got have a conversation with all of the tenets of the unit give him a little new rock. What leadership is about so I would say no as a whole. We get leadership spiritual disciplines in the got technical technical skills for those three things. This is all leading up to the Exelon ration so when we come back half back a lot more around the world is a faith-based organization that conducts international rescue operations for people suffering from human trafficking lantern specializes in sending former US special operations law enforcement and intelligence personnel department with host nations and assist them in reading specialized units combat ongoing security, genocide, terrorism is a nonprofit charity. They offer services free of charge to trafficking is thrown into the second largest elected world reaching an estimated $50 billion in annual activity lantern rescue was developed rapidly to combat trafficking and operates through a train international network in order to rescue women and children, sex and labor slavery and facilitates holistic gearing up for operations right now and you can go to lantern.org and see how you can support the following program contains sensitive content listener discretion is advised back to lantern rescue in today were in the Caribbean with this operationally. The first segment on the training but now we get to what what what are they doing their training and so TC can you kind of take is that your through we would like to train training as we said before, another shows what occurrences like money clouds, all sorts of things. However, as good as all that is. Everybody wants to go on and operationally so actually wondered in our team had to split and Mark and I took off and one other actually took off to go on an actual operation that had been planned and two of us to stood back and worked on some things were working on swimming up driving to the border and country to take part in an arrest of some immigration officials who were actually complicit in tracking people by messing: somehow doctoring, marketing, and on the snare their passports so we drove for good big four hours.

I think hotel which was maybe just below average met up with the dominant mark on the guys you think your Emily operators were met. One setting that up to launch was that it was probably one of the largest operations I think is countries on especially involving the takedown of government officials who were falsifying passports and documents basing for foreign women from the South American region are still some investigations involving the office but they divided up in there. There was probably including the SWAT unit that we trained including other local police in the prosecutor's office to investigators. 11 there was there was 100 people involved in this and you know for us in our role in this particular one where sometimes we are kicking the door down, or in line to show them how to kick adoring to go in and this one we really were taken account of an oversight to see how it was done and it was there. There's a lot there's just so much want to help them with, you know, there they are trying their doing what they can and were proud that they made these arrests in the prosecution's happening, but from a practical sense searches that they're still great deal versus a life of work in every country that were in. There's a lifetime of work and you see it from not just our vantage point of what they give us.

But sometimes, just as Americans we just know how things work in those countries. Doings is done so well know. People complain about the justice system here in this and that but as a whole is far, far above what we see in other countries so we have that vantage point to see and I'm glad that we were able to wash how they did this because we can be doing some changes in me helping them out in different levels. I.e. I would say after you and I can say one thing the hotel what you mean above average man.

I think I was.

I am pretty sure some I died in that room the night before I got there and I can't even say on air what was all in that room selling say that glad only spent about 10 minutes and it will put it in the you know we had to roll back our wedding. We got in about 1 o'clock in my dual blog we will go back out the door. The operation you know so was a it was eight different raiding parties a different locations all hitting their location at the exact same time, which is for about 5 AM this the best time to arrest people not want to work yet they're just gonna get up with her still sleepy there in bed so it's easy to do at that. When we returned back from that operation were also that week involved in something we can only get better for sure. I'm for those of us don't know stuff like this, like me, I'm so are you saying that were eight people were arrested isn't as result or maybe even more than that is actually more than that is initial eight and then following that even some more of the chamber arrested some more of the officers and immigration officers. Some of the smugglers different ones who were involved were all arrested and there still is actually ties itself to another country where you have some influence in that country to what you were trying to have a key person there arrested as well so that was a successful guy was out of the hundred and 60 women under 60 victims. Wow.

That's how many were you know Foss whether doctors falsify they were passed along interview notes crossing international borders and in the outcome of their life was not what you know most of them either have been sold further trafficking or they were being held in a brothel and using that way, but nobody was hurt. Everything went smooth as it could be or yet that no one know was no one was hurt while that's kind of thing is use them over hundred people involved and you got all these arrests, nonsense, intense sound yummy you just went through it. I'm like well yeah what happened you went to you for one in there before we move onto the like final. Whatever significant that the organization the nongovernmental organization that lantern works with the task force was invited was asked to go on the grade which is significant because not necessarily law enforcement more Intel for law enforcement but there invited to go to be a part of that huge proof that the model is working. There is a coordination between an anti-trafficking organization there and the police. The police at a very high level recognize their value to all of the arrests and investigations going on so the model is legitimate and think even this particular rated spoke well of that relationship.

That process in the country are investigators are full-time there there land rescue investigators are part of the task force and we have a different name. There in that country then lantern but they do a great job because we see the caseload that they take on and I see that the AG's office take several of our cases in a serious and wants to address each one of them and if I we have one operation that's In any moment involves a great deal of victims from three different countries and their actually anyway, I just will say too much, but it's a big operation to NTC were undercover on that one.

I think you were involved in and I know I did part of the undercover work. I think you did as well. Maybe, and in part of the fair chain that's something TCI both done. He and I both have went to this picture country went undercover as a buyer, and I know a lot of people probably don't quite grasp what that is but that's going into area that is maybe controlled by a cartel or somebody or building and were posing as a an interest like we have an interest in buying girls yeah Robbie.

They sometimes they pray those girls in front of you there minor girls. You're there undercover trying to determine what information you need for the prosecution. We often are recording or documenting those things in our local people are also part of that undercover work there posing as something else. Maybe that's how those investigations get move forward. It works well sometimes for an American such as myself TC to go in because were not burning local people. They expect an American to show up who has money and wants to buy girls.

That's horrible. I make sense now absolutely insert TC with your experience undercover as any part about that that you might want to share with our listeners what that's like, well, it is different.

My language skills are not that high, which particular role but I played it on the burnt guy isn't necessarily essential. Although it would be better if I were much better skilled at the language, but were walked in as a guide in my particular case, I'm closing it out with a certain profile and that Mark said were trying to determine through conversations whether they are prostituted there, you know, under their own control so to speak, or perturbing traffic like when my first investigations. We work upstairs in the flat and the conversations that we have determined two girls were trafficked defending traffic from another country. They had some vague information about more girls that could be trafficked and made available to us and so that's how the conversation goes. It's different know we run surveillance in surveillance and all those sorts of things to make sure that everybody safe and sound, both physically and mentally know my current stuff but those things that have to happen in order to make investigations complete an order for prosecutions actually happen we pursue not just because human trafficking.

There's no tracking that maybe we can prosecute on quicker and so my drugs is the undercover we try to try to make an effort to find out what the girls are girls in our cost we try to find out age we find out if drugs are available cracker. We have other things to purchase the same time guns out all who are you there because the more you can bring the criminality of these people delight to the prosecutor, the more likely he's going say let's get it go after it was taken down in Ellis prosecute on the following things wow and so then from what I understand after the operation. There was another event right yeah during that week. You know, we tried on the show. We got a couple minutes we tried demonstrate some of our Aussies working experience to say this the country I don't quite have never quite had this experience I've had. I've had government officials honor us on our team or honor the work that were doing in the past, especially the Millie said a lot of stuff in this country we got invited to a banquet or somebody very important. We went to that large building in very, there was a nice building say that big and we go in and they escorted us over like their Secret Service is perseverant to this private banquet hall and we enter were like warehouses well enough we think were just part of a banquet was we sit down and we see all the like one and two star generals. The whole country come in.

One by one and they all said were like okay we just part of this within the next entourage comes in. This is the lead person in that particular country invited us and ask you know like who's in charge and me and the task force leader and so they bring us over to a special table. Now we realize all this whole banquet is in our honor. And this is really weird because we haven't you know I don't how much money was spent that night but I got you know to do this but this is bizarre. To this day we will have answers on the word got some ideas but I am at this moment thinking this could be a drug raid on this government official. He's wanted a bunch of Americans in here literally taxing agency people I know I'm gonna listen I don't know what happened here but I like it.

If the door gets you have the door Ellis on this whole building goes down. We are not part of whatever this order is governments part of a business that does that bless our you know they got special singers. They got a chef and they got everything right laid out. I don't TC comments on what you want to comment at this point, we were right. You know you're currently ramrod look with your eyes only. Yeah the whole team look like you open the door G0 out.

Yeah, I've been in there with so where there and to be honored in that way was way above and beyond what we were doing in the country have a good outcome on this is not right so you know when people talk about how we work in these foreign countries we have to because he wants her back was in that show. There was something that happened that I don't know which pumps they own air, but in some things. It went down but we need your prayers constantly because I think even that night. We may have avoided something that you know III really flights yet we did tip into something and then we avoided something I'm not sure if that was just the prayers of people backstage frame force wow wow I'm guessing you know just so grateful here that we can hear hormone around the world and know that we can befriend Afghanistan Ukraine Vivian West Africa Asia Pacific, so thank you guys so much.

Thank you TC God bless.
