Hey this is Jim Graham from the masculine dirty podcast where we explore relationship instead a religion every week their chosen Truth Network podcast is starting in just a few seconds to enjoy it. Sure, but most of all, thank you for listening you for choosing The Truth Podcast Network. This is the Truth Network.

The following program contain sensitive content listener discretion is advised previously on lantern rescue got social scene. My welcome to lantern risk ministry program dedicated to bringing light into the darkness of human trafficking. It's time to light the way to freedom. This is lantern rest. We tell the stories we talk about rest and we empower you to do something about it was once said that it not be said I was silent when the welcome to really awesome episode of lantern rescuers. We get a chance to go around the world. This week is last week we were in the Ukraine and in Mark. There's so many things going on really for such a time as this that I know our listeners are going to be like my mind is blown them all the things that lantern rescuers involved in around the world – are written in our B on the show here today.

It's no with lantern, I know our podcast for those who follow us, and I have a lot to say I was in every Saturday or I always get the podcast and I'm note for us where we get so busy, you know will be gone out of country were working in us like we go three, four weeks, and then we come into the studio. We do several shows that once we try to capture everything that's going on so sometimes are showing our listeners think is just week to week is really there so much going on were so busy we can't do week to week, so here this is a show for us today.

We want to take timing, update people. What were doing regionally around the world and everything that we've been God's given us opportunity to do a favor to do and the stuff is happening so I wrote I think miracle I know got around to showing she has a lower plate today. Thought I would love it if she jumped in talked about Asia-Pacific and some of you know activities that were trying to do their no I-9 over and now and me having Through very remote rural country.

What happened find a human trafficking liberate them every night getting by naming the living are the way I donkey something crazy where I have a hard time getting back to court to give their Money and hard to do a bunch of time. I'm young back on your thinking they might not program the family working with their popular training right now to establish what we call victim witness advocacy program that they have taken their individual identified with in their pocket office that are going to be managing the other survivor helping facilitate money between the provider and the court not met back in allowing the driver to testify by.

Not only used in United States for minor that company in the presence of their there they can.

I presume with you, and I got to looking at getting out and getting basically prerecorded testimony with an event you often got a present and allowing them to testify on record once or twice and then go back to their village and not have to come back every couple weeks and I think the longer they might not be able to make when the victims are unable to make your journey but end up happening is the thought highly not able to get anyone to try to get in the middle of that problem and think that is survivor not having to make it by multiple time and think well blows my mind that the legal listeners will have a lot of questions last week were in the Ukraine and welcome people in this warehouse and over here works in the Roman Asia-Pacific and helping their prosecution system. You know, and something I never would have even dreamed would have a solution like with what you come up with a God really is given you favor the team we have the team that we have the rent working with that we know we vetted been produced in and put in place or anything is that they are capable of addressing this with rinse direction in legal direction from people who know and how it should work, and I'm I'm excited like we have the right people like different countries were going to door kicker here, we just might give this something good that it's like God gives the exact people we need to accomplish what rings just discussed likes put people away.

The perpetrators right right of those of the people that if we could get them in a put away then we wouldn't have the victims justice is it's brilliant but that God is restricted in the way really that hard. And then I will try not actual really clearing are always involved somehow in the league of the legal process because we are committed not just a chapter taking the driver then finally prosecution all the way through his conviction for multiple reasons to believe the privacy of their death is also conviction rate you ever take a look at the trafficking in persons report without a Office the way that countries get funding to help when the trafficking is through the Report and that earthquake that they report doesn't reflect the amount of traffickers that were charged reflect the connection when you're just trying to blustering not helping the country to show that they are trying to improve their department and I have a copy when you're getting the conviction that help show on a global scale.

What that country. How committed they are combating a problem, just another way that the legal process to get involved in any country. It is really beneficial to support us as a team, even down to the ground level. We train the task force do operations will work with her prosecutors at the end of the day the people we arrest will make sure they go well you know it's a we take a lot of risk personally would take a lot of time and effort, money, all that and we want to do an operation and in the person walk away. I think probably a couple weeks.

Our task force leader from Asia reported bring them here states unloaded.

I'm still in the South as the special reducer Robbie with him when they can even talk more about that part of the world). Even stores along one so no strip on the Realtek site and I will talk about the Middle East and then you can cut update forecastle West Africa in the Middle East. We have you know we've ran a great deal of extraction of vulnerable people out of the withdrawal area of Afghanistan. We've done that for organizations, agencies, no vetted groups that we made sure we were moving who they were that they were Delavan that they are people who need to be moved and so we've moved them to different a different country and provided a community of people there and you know we were doing the best we can say is humanitarian crisis, people were starving we don't show about it. We have been doing all that we can do so will your people and update even since that show. We talked about the media is telling us that a million people were dying this spring in Afghanistan. I would say that's absolutely correct my task force were our communication with our team leader. We just brought to the states and then these back in action there now is the Taliban has really become full of criminality. They first cleaned up a lot of criminal activity. Basically that was so that they could be the only game in town okay and so they've establish that they are the only game in town and other doing anything and everything they want to from burning houses to know imprisoning people unjustly. The taking the newer vehicles from people on me. This is just a game in Tel Aviv.

Another terrorist group but what we were able to do this is what so unique a foundation came to office, a small foundation of a Christian couple and they said what can we do there.

We said listen, we we need to feed people, but we also have a medical need to do medical exam to special the females, especially the pregnant females and we could do it. We have the relationship to work through the Delphic government that they will give us that placement access so we actually set up three facilities we purchased about together with that of the foundation we did about $20,000 in medical supplies. This is medicine and treatment.

We did not want to just dump that into Afghanistan because if we give it to the urgent care systems.

They would just turn around so little Mr. heat for money so we had to sources so that it was good supply. Good stuff. We got into the country. We set up three examination facilities. We were able to get three doctors and nurses in their nursing staff to run those facilities for us and we treated people all day for several days. You know they just lined up outside.

They came in they were examined and then the medical supplies that we purchased were used to treat those people.

This something that not everybody gets to do in you know it's it's funny.

This is why were so careful and I mean I hope you know we run a task force is extracting people under televisions knows the same time we turn around and were able to do a medical treatment for several days out of three locations and so you still we can you turn on the Ukraine show counter trafficking, rescue, vulnerable people, or do not turn a blind eye to the military needs around us and you can't help but see the favor of God and my yeah that's like oh my goodness you there actually telegram governments allowing you to to do this humanitarian aid and you're doing it in such a way that you're not wasting the resources and then God provide somehow the doctors and the people actually do that because as doctors volunteered they we didn't have to pay them. They were so grateful for what we're doing as doctors volunteered and were they are the source in Afghanistan from SFX and so those connections that you have in those countries that that will start happening so some of these people were being examined and that work had come out of Afghanistan or actually impact yes. The main thing that we were going after or the women and children, you know, was treat them and was worked out with the leaders that's what we would do and they agreed to so spectacular you can run into a situation you several medical treatment facility and all you have a thousand men lined up front is a big disrespect Brian female so much, but we were able to overcome that amazing what we come back we have world report Woodland in rescue of all the things of God's doing with your prayers and your support Alanna rescue.

Hope you like me Michael God that we can help in all these situations really such a time as this even legal to talk to international rescue operations for people suffering from human trafficking lantern specializes in sending you a special operation law-enforcement and intelligence personnel department with host nations and assist them in reading specialized combat on genocide, terrorism is a nonprofit charity. They offer services free of charge. Human trafficking is thrown into the second largest collective reaching an estimated $50 billion activity rescue was developed rapidly to combat and operates with training, a national network of women and children, sex and labor slavery and facilitates gearing up for operations right now and see how you can support the following program contains sensitive content description is welcome back to lantern rescue today show were going around the world into the Pacific.

Middle East. But now Africa. So Mark and Randall would just go right straight to rent you got some stuff going on there as well actually caught the border where we work at getting treatment because it interacting alone – I think Martin isn't letting anyone story.

There is power in their father not I will write that you can share about things that people are on their showing how attractive and they're not willing to get the Story. I love it when people come up to us. So what you do with all the corruption of the government's there's some things we do. One of Ms. we arrest him. So we do so. This is a prime example of that. You know the one the case or is brief and everybody on that we establish a task force that doesn't back down all our test for subs. We had some radio shows we talk about engagement conflict with the government official was doing wrong for cases like a lot lot of immigration officers and people immigration officers are the ones who when it comes to crossing borders. They're the ones who have lot access to that false documentation means to move people from one place to another. So in this case, he was arrested so that is still developing an end like Rick probably also commented he didn't do it alone. Robbie was in a run. One man trafficking you know this is probably involved.

Some people in another country to rent you any more comments on that particular situation, you know again when that team there in West Africa is really outstanding in an ongoing and will be involved in the Network Dr., Bob impact in the region doubt that government want well so anything else in Africa comment on Mark Karen. I think remember the also we have almost an investigation opened every day almost arrest every day to with that particular task force the girls that were intercepted.

You're the guy who claimed that he was there brother and yet really good documentation of get that brief pulled up, I can go through it.

Your brief on that case where they were told to was apprenticeship start working in the team interviewed the brother and the alleged brothers and their stories and they matched our trained interrogators on the team unity did everything they normally do. They do a really good job. Okay, very good, knowing their culture. Knowing the culture of the surrounding tribes. The quote surrounding countries is to just really good. But in this case, the interrogation process didn't reveal anything you know it was okay. This is the brother and this is a real job and everything matches up with these girls so they head on into that other country for that job.

Well, what's it. I think I'm how much time passed about a month rent is a right a month passes by and that are one of our offices. These two girls now come back in a state of victimization there crying. They have found out that when they they got there that they were taken as slave labor. They were brutally beaten and this was so upsetting to all of us to our team and everybody that's the criminals were fighting against because their learning. Even I think to overcome her interrogation. So when you work in an area so you work aboard 100 miles in every day. Your taskforces run that water in the doing the things that they do their running their interrogations a certain way will the smugglers in the criminal start to learn our tactics and so that's something that were addressing. I think from operational side we've been looking at okay, how do we make sure that our tactics of interrogation are exploited by smugglers that they learn with the questions we are that we ask in the way that we verify documentation and then they overcome that. How do we combat that right right then. Also, the stories or case to make people realize a long time.

Survivors are there victimize the real victim's and even for them personally. It takes a little bit for them to understand what a bad situation is so obviously when these were two girls about the age of 17.

They were duped into this, but they lied as well. Right, Brian.

They were lying as well because they thought what they were going to was a good thing and now they obviously know better and have learned through a hard situation and there will be instrumental now and being part of the advocacy of that area, say look this is what we were told to the other smarter there wiser and all that so but whether we were able to be there for them if we didn't have that office. They would have anywhere to go. They would've remembered okay way that there is a team. There is a unit that was warning us about this was diving into us.

We lied to them. We need to go back to them now and tell them the truth so they brought that case back to us and you know we have the identification of the smugglers so they're going after that individual well have escorted case to case. You think I'd like to comment on in which to call the country in the Caribbean. I think people know were heavily involved in Haiti and we do have something that's playing out there on a larger scale, but really could we talk about just the one case that are one agent has been involved in involving the pastor. There's more than one patch RK stem gathers more than one the most recent one where I think people need to know, like a country like Haiti just how hard it is for a stop right there right now because we have agents there. We have task force members and we have a pastor that has great girls has sold them out from an orphanage has taken money from people in the US and then we started investigation and he went on the run and then wonder task force members when we actually set up undercover, watch the facility to make sure you know he was doing an investigation and we confirm that the pastor had left that area was on the run. Then we were able to acquire a warrant which I would just say the country Haiti is really hard to get okay because of so much dysfunction you know to get the leadership of the police forces to actually issue a warrant is a really big deal.

That just shows our persistence in the quality of our task force members, but we actually have that now one of the difficulties is this guys hiding in a place that gangs control and gesture was days ago was around that we were sent the images like we get a lot yeah yeah and that and that was some this is something we did every day seems like from the country where somebody we know it's a policeman we know it wasn't task force member. It was somebody that are task force new, but it it was basically in the same area that this is pastor. This wanted pastor's hiding and so that desecrates the difficulties we we do the investigation.

We report on it.

We get to all the right authority in that place and then the guy goes in hiding or is protected by gangs short of a small army is really hard for us to get into that that region is really hard for us to go in and make that arrest soak you know we we need. With so many prayer Woody finances because those things cost more money than normal rate operation unit with flight on extra people spent a lot of extra time did you think that you got that picture to specifically warn you about what you're doing with him. I don't think so you don't think so you I think it's just us just this is just showing what they're doing to people who enter that region you know is just there to showing you know this is this is a consequence of me there's part starts in Haiti right now that are you you know is completely safe. You know you're running a mission that is far from a lot of the criminality then there's parts like this where is matter who you are. If you drive a vehicle through that that 1 mile. There's taking shots at you yelling they're just shooting there just out of control their games and their very young gangs were talking these are 18-year-olds 19-year-olds. These are yes very young country so because of the disease because of the earthquake and you know earlier in the year so you know we we were trying to overcome that we have something that God is opened up for us that we hope we can report on soon that will allow us to impact a country that we've worked so hard and for so long and I think this is going take us even to another level right right right so moving on to back to Ukraine ran you. Can you give us an update from their warehouse turn provide contract order or about their higher rate of trafficking document with that thing on. People are moving back and forth on how that providing information on how to pump the salt and closing hope. I'm thinking you can see the listing you know how goddess given Lanham rescue favor around the world and in this because of you know everyone's prayers and certainly got six folks I mean everywhere and in market it's it's kind of unique. There's so many organizations United States along this way there, well-funded, and whatever get help for people around the world. You know it's it's it's wonderful that God provided through Lanham rescue is he a were so were so blessed today. We never thought days. This would be used in different parts of the world to do were doing so I appreciate or don't appreciate our listeners a lot considered show follow us on Instagram are never able.
