Yes, and so I love the term he uses for the places where Jeff lives are called the farm and home, psoriasis, or semi retirement homes but retirement. I love that word and that is too strict. That one word encapsulates our entire vision rather than refinement. What you just done and waiting for whatever this is, engagement and kingdom activity and pursuing God and pursuing being useful right and when you're on this campus, you will certainly feel that experience and you know that it as well as we we are going to finish up with Jeff Carol story here in a minute. So with that said, David. I have been reading your book, so David is an author and I was suppose this is your first book. It is my first book and I love love love the story of how this book came about in an opt out. The first chapter which will get to that in a minute but actually have God put it on your heart when you first got realistic forcible Robbie think is quite an honor. You know Robbie when I was a been mostly for 25 years and in the early days when I'd have a cross sale with another agent we'd run into some sort of problem termites water in the basement what you know what if something we had overcome to make the sale and the other agent would just roll her eyes and say I could write a book will that's an expression we use right but in my mind I was thinking who would want to read a book of all your problems is that book so that was just that was that. And then fast-forward.

Decades later, the Lord started to put in my mind what if you gave a book of all God stories God would show up in the business world, particularly with me in the roasting world and do something incredible and would not be an encouragement to people so that's what this book is all about Robbie and it is and it is in like talk about God story I want to rob the joy of anybody from reading the first chapter because David asked me to do is have Peru's it and read the first chapter because you know the whole idea of of testimonies. This is a critical part of of what your soul keeps right when you hear a good testimony. There's a deposit that's made in your soul that improves your faith right and so this book is loaded.

I mean loaded with stories where faith played the key role right yes and and where you know as people listen. This right to get a chance to see.

Oh God, did that and he did that and he did that and you know story is is so much of it so now of course this the whole book for in the name of the book. By the way is when a how I love the name of this book. When a house eyes.

A person in Robbie. That's the title of the first stories I just digested in such a fantastic story. I just that's gotta be the title of book one house buys a person right right in and so that story in its own way is this is a big-time story of faith. First, about your friend that had faith in you have faith in God, followed what he'd ask you to do but maybe we should let you tell that story. I just with the appetitive won't give away all okay on all that you can actually read it for free on Amazon that the first was for free can read but a friend of mine was praying for my business will forcible.

How many people even have a friend like that. Thank God for that is because I'm new in the business he's praying for me and the Lord says he says Jesus prayer is Lord he's southern Lord bless Dave's business and the and the Lord said when you bless his business will how would I do that and he says once you list your house with them and he had no intention of selling his house and all that was the first and hike okay. So he talked to his wife and that they called me and it was a bad market.

It was not a good time to be selling a house was a buyers market and my counsel to my friend was don't sell.

This is a good time would wait a couple years coming couple years and will talk about and so he allowed that to stand but then the continue to be pursuit of Lord know you need to list your house with Dave so he called me and we got the house listed and it became an incredible redemptive story so that the sale of that house redeems two lives radically and it's an incredible son. I would venture to say three and a little and maybe even more than that because of the children.

Also, you get all that we got more could we ever got back to Jeff story were to get that. I should tell this anecdote so Gen. Boykin. If you've ever met. It was kind of an intimidating God, and I can't believe how beautifully they treated me like I can't have this green remarry where I get a chance to essentially hobnob with the speakers and all the stuff I got to eat dinner with Gen. Boykin and in on the key that always prefer up there and so Frank Shelton's son is there and he's about 13 years old with Gen. Boykin sits down across from him right and Gen. Boykin has sort of this intimidating presence. If you could picture the scene and says to the young man to have a girlfriend you know it almost swallows this time he is he is he is looking at this event… Well, I've got no no not easily ashamed or she fat you had to say though you know it was just his sense of humor, but the same point in time, coming from this very intimidating struck but anyway when we left our hero David. We also have Jeff Carol with this is one of the residents here at MorningStar and and a radio guided from way back. Very anxious to hear the rest of the story we get to that.

We left David he was sharing with us about his book in that first story we, cut them off at the point in time that all these lives redeemed really seriously redeemed as a result of your friends obedience.

That's the key to God told him specifically number one get David to sell your house number two, you're going to get $134,000 on going that part of the story because he didn't want to tell you that's a key part of the story was an hundred and 3436. I think it was 34 and he specifically got that number in prayer and I thought that was out of reach from the market at that time.

This is many years ago and we held your feet to the fire that hundred and 34,000 how all that story comes about, is absolutely spectacular and so David you you want to make this story available to everybody easily on Amazon right I do.

It's such a fun book and that's one of 12 stories that didn't the people have read it have said how much they've enjoyed it. Like I said you can read that first chapter for free and I think that what your appetite is also available on Kindle for 343 49 on Kindle and I would recommend like I've I've read a couple three chapters, and it is is one of those that you know there's not a lot of anything other than here's the storage man and if you know here's the stories and also that I do hear that people told me they really enjoyed. I give some real estate adages, and sometimes I break them and sometimes I live by them. But that know how to real estate agents.

We are one of the rules will go by and so those those little secrets are in this book as well. Do you know from your perspective, what's a home in the Bible where it absolutely does an interestingly, it also means understanding right and it in its own way right has to do with the Bible itself as if you read the hundred 19 Psalm there eight verses on the letter bet and those verses that some of you probably will know like I've hidden your word in my heart that verses in the section.

There's a reason for that and you know that's a really beautiful thing. I love that you know those people you know me well what you don't know that I love you. You get a special double whammy from the prize walks over to send you not one but two of something, maybe a book and a lot of stuff sending out right because Ben is son, you're exactly right. And that's why it lines up with tour because the sun is the word of God right so you make all those connections is beautiful, wonderful, thank you, Don appreciates Conan's. So David in its own way right this house bought a person. In other words, MorningStar kinda bought you. They did so in 2008 with the roasted market was very bad and we just happen to be kicking out something in this church MorningStar Fellowship Church where we were doing this active adult community we call a refinement center and so now I've split my time between pursuing that making that happen. We been doing it for now 14 years and it's it's gung ho going strong and also pursuing real estate as well and so talk about a redemptive story and the letter bet essential color set up Don that power that's kind of the iconic thing for Jim breaker situation is now almost you know it's gets gets in the middle of construction so that things can be opened up and I was blown away to find out that you guys have got commitments on all the great deal of those apartments are to be opened up and that right.

The interest has been overwhelming is just so fantastic people. The concept of refinement and the concept of being engaged and having my senior years count for something is just an engaging message and and were not just talking about.

I'm watching folks live this out and Jeff here with us in the studio he or lives here in MainStreet is a prime example. But you all that you get to that, but yes, just a fantastic thing to watch us play out right and so in its own way know that when you think about the idea of what went on. Describe this is the letter bet in the home right is that when when we have Jesus right were home. I'm pretty sure in his presence is fullness of joy and he is the son, and so it only makes sense that would start with a bat right then if you might be familiar with that word.

He was in the throes of deciding G yeah I got a B in radio or I meant to be, and you met this this professor had a passion for radio and and he was a disciple maker. Yeah, he Al Miller and to this day. Probably one of the biggest influences as far as my education so I took that and on with that came experience and confidence like I want to do this so I then went to Columbia school of broadcasting and so there I learned about Internet word internship and and so what that basically meant was I would go and shop at a radio station at 4 o'clock in the morning and the time make coffee and Xerox psych River. We would hit we have the newspaper I cut out newspaper clippings Xerox it and give it to the host so they can read it and so I just they said show up at 4 AM I was there at 330. If they said that I was say that he still that way because I will get here somewhere around 11 at about 9:45 might have been buying 35 hours Jeff okay Larry love in the end, when you anybody that worked in radio station knows this.

If you hang around the studio. Okay and not my boss Stu Epperson Singh and he had the live show at 5 o'clock which was, like the trademark show you how to talk a lot. I cannot tell you how many times as I would get this call about five minutes. Five Robbie in about 15 minutes out and I need you to step in and start to show why, what's the topic I don't know yet what or I've got a geysers live Canadian with you when he would come on, he wouldn't be there and so if you're hanging around a radio station you don't if you're anywhere near us to you. They are going to pull you in on you and that's exactly what happened.

So after making copious amounts of Xerox copies of newspaper my big opportunity came to take the control board in radio station liking of the airplane like you get the fly right right right.

Never getting trained up in and said he would train you.

But then there was like okay here's the keys to the car not operate the board and so I started doing that and then there's an opportunity for you to a filling shift in a very small radio station, I didn't get an internship at power 106 in Los Angeles and so that was you know your urine to let your major market and so were you a Christian. At that point I grew up. I grew up a Christian I really wasn't saved.

I mean I mean IIII went to church like I was raised Catholic and so I come from Irish Catholic, you reserve them yeah MRI would be the name and anyway working here more of how Jeff ended up at MorningStar another guest actually professional wrestler by the name of Johnny West. Thank you, David.

I'm so thankful for the year where in Ohio are you in a little place near day wonderful, wonderful, and the call letters that station your list 105. That is awesome 16.5, in Dayton, Ohio. I'm so glad you call William. So where do you what would you consider home in the Bible. What I consider home where there are believers in the Lord. No and that you know last night I experienced that complete because Nikita had with the call movie nights. We want to remember the type I area and Nikita sat right next to me and I can't tell you how many times he put his arm around me and and and and we were laughing at the stuff that we knew was common in that there are all these people there that were all around us and I looked at him and I said this is heaven, and that I mean this you could feel God you could feel his pleasure.

You could feel all that when you're in a community like that and I bet you got that William tells by your community.

My community have a lovely and embracing community. They are good people. They worry about other and to be left out in more. It is a very good group of people who live the word and speak the word and confident.

I always feel like when I'm in communities that the people like to accept me as one of them, like I'm one of their favorites. The idea like these people really happy I'm here in Sukkot United. It is one of those things.

I really think Jesus is full of grace. He has that ability to make you feel wanted you wanted here. You're excepted here, just as you are with all your shenanigans and and so well thank you William.

What a beautiful beautiful sentiment.

If you don't get a minute radial radial flies like that but was able to you know live out my dream might like my gifting that the Lord gave me that was prophesies to me by young lady was in middle school and so I remember just realizing that one day and you know being on the air in Los Angeles and that was my home base beyond Chicago, New York, Boston writers is America kind of like what you just experience now were sitting here in you know South Carolina you talk in person Ohio just to be able to do that and to be able to when you say something and and and and they call into to comment to share their stories into me right. He was always been about the callers and that's my love talk radio is because it's about listening to stories. Whether it's their personal story or an opinion on on something that's going on in the world, or perhaps a gel corridor answering a trivia question.

It's that's the magic of radio. I still believe, and I still love it and so it's that's why it's so much fun sitting in here and so so basically we moved here in 2012 from the West Coast because I was like it was time to leave and so I really have to say at first base to tell people I'm going there to honor my wife because she wanted to move here to MorningStar and so I really said you know what this would be amazing.

So we end up moving here, but really my wife.

I love life. She is awesome I I said to her, and she can be when he said you know you said you moved here. It was about moving to honor me, but really this was to honor God. It was really about, you know, your walk right and walking deeper with the Lord. Ever since I've been here. It's been amazing. What's been happening here in the Carolinas here at MorningStar and a part of Army rising men's ministry, led by Tim to zombies and amazing man of God's like I'm I'm I'm finally at that point where Lord I'm walking out my true identity and walking and that confidence walking at strength but I want to give it away to others. Right because we can't give away what we don't have a will we get it we want to give it away and set new love that new excitement right in it and so being around these men hurt the men's conference is amazing because last night when I was watching rim of the Titans. I was sitting there. That's all a movie that most licensing 10 times I've seen it you know where at home or in a lazy way. We got that Doritos when I looked around last night and he said these men are hungry and I just felt so blessed and so honored to be a blunt with the book with bunch of brothers that are sitting there watching this movie together. There is unity and expecting about the men that worked there and that next year the be more meant right and so would when we leave this place, which is what we we we we want to bring that excitement and that love of the Lord, but to be like it every day. Iron sharpens iron so it's like I mean it's it's been amazing.

I just love being in that's what it does. So what it would whether lead-in for our friend here that is actually Wayne King, but his name was Jerry West. But the thing you want and and he has that I sent wrong, Johnny, Johnny, Johnny West. That's right, Jodi West, Johnny was your weight when you wrestle is about to 2200 and know not my God profession for me. And now here but over the lifetime Spaniard, not as some of my friends might occur. But if this part of my life growing up with and later on got to have the opportunity to get in times you know but God had other directions for us in line. You want to believe this but hey listen me and God change my life.

I explained to Davis Bull Run not done in my life as he was a bull rider professional bull rider like for real. He was a Gillies right there.

They thought it might urban cowboy.

Many got on the real animal, and then it can only be wrestled in the ring and there's there's lots of stories.

Believe me, we got if we have enough time to tell the story. I don't want people to not hear is he's also a good friend as you might imagine of Nikita's and syndicated talk him into going to band camp and man camp is little different than the man's conference. You know it's five days. It starts on a Sunday night. It ends on a Friday on the alumni were to have a meeting of the alumni man camp, but what happened after Wayne went to man camp is nothing short of miraculous. So if you could share that story with our listeners like you finish man camp and then what happened well to the main camp.

It's experience in spending that time in my experience with the main camp I had to deal with unforgiveness to a brother that your mind will say 6 feet under, because of what happened in our family but now this was his physical brother, not a spiritual brother and I made his little brother right yes and here I was set up beautifully right so we come back like oh my goodness, we can give all the secrets of it was really hungry at the point in time that he was praying when we come back here. Today we are having so much fun here at the MorningStar facility in Fort Mill, South Carolina in the cuticle loss man up conference which is been going on since Thursday night.

Actually, it started and so during the third day, the sky good night and tonight we got a really fun thing. I'm looking forward to its alumni get together of all those who participated in man camp and so we left her hero, Jerry West/Wayne King he had gone the Nikita's main camp and he was praying by the lake. You were not to say what was going on because we don't give out those details that men Let me just say he was really hungry at this time. Yes, I had a hunger for the Lord and so I stepped in the go to man camp and doing unforgiveness and to man camp. There have an here I have met certain spot my devotion time and read a certain book in certain book well. Nikita said next morning are not finished have been released from your past Lord has a relationship until Nikita skipped breakfast. I'm going back out and seek the Lord and had a feeling inside me that this one ready to be released from and so I went back down to continue my seeking written word and it must certain spot on the hundred of the fishermen and here are some big fish kept on distract me, coming close to shore and chapter in a book called burnout.

Not that that's my Have to get to this chapter because it took me to be in burnout in the ministry when leaving the blade to the Lord, split away from things got cold and had a far heavy pack into me. Well here. All of a sudden the wind started blowing a little bit and there was a sweet sweet fragrance filled around me that you can taste so strong in here the Lord started moving.

It took me back to 2001 when I lost my stepdaughter of cancer happened in the room at the time her been received by the Lord and the Lord came in that room with the sweetness of strongest chicken billing taste in his presence.

So here with that he was reminding me that Wayne still with you as with you back in and turn to for that was still there and half a dozen, but surface and here I thought it meant the devil about get mad at God but God used those fish represented man and he was let me know that I am still fishermen a man and when it came to be released from the camp and Friday at noon time I had to travel 500 mouse up at the venue defacement brother face-to-face. Let him know that I forgive you for what you've done to but on the way to him and get to West Virginia I received a phone call from my sister-in-law Helen talked to in years and she called to let me know that she got Patrick cancer and to pray for her well through that phone call she received a miracle it wasn't for healing, but she let me pray for her to step Jesus Christ into our heart to speak to her for years but God, let me pray with her leader that Jesus is like Lord you're working already in me for leaving her to Christ. I got to my destination effacement brother Tom.

I forgive you and he accepted that and we embraced that through man camp. Let me let me dive into that just a little bit more because I think it's really important for listeners to know not all the details your family but but the situation was that you know he was a caregiver for the last years of her mother. Yes and so is often the case right you know you you felt like the care hadn't been what it needed to be based on selfish reasons. He added her, you know, and therefore may mow the brother's anger built up in his late brother numbly when I felt you know but with the power of God to released and forgiveness in me because C with unforgiveness.

It doesn't hurt the person it bothers you and torment you know tear you health down completely to you release that could affect the other person that the thing that I don't want anybody to mess I hope that so important as well is that it's God that did the war going.

When you go to man camp and come to man up conference. It's you get set up to have these times God what happens with him is what changes relying and you know there's a wonderful chance to do this.
