This is the Truth Network versus where you hear from ordinary people instilled with an extraordinary fashion. Together, we explore the stories of men and women who take what they love and let God turn their passion into kingdom pursuits now live from the truth. Robbie Gilmore so many times I wish to praise God for having a job that I have good human like the Christian cargo sugars have recalls that I just had from these unbelievable saints, and then I get to do this show with two unbelievable poster children for you know how does God take your passion and use it to build the kingdom and our first guest. Apparently, wow, I'm I'm excited to hear about the story behind this, but it's it's a new author Gwendolyn Burton who wrote the book you don't know just how I feel hope for the grieving heart so Gwendolyn based on that title. It sounds like it came from a deep place it help if I push the button so you could be on the air.

Gwendolyn efforts are now morning so share with us how bad that looks and sounds like it was a story behind that story behind you don't know how I feel. Hope the grieving heart and that story began in 2016 when my then 2609 effort. A seizure he had epilepsy and packed away and down at that unexpected death in epilepsy and with your transition came a journey that I never thought I'd be on a journey of grief, a journey of learning navigate that grief journey ended spelling some of the myth, the misconception that the ground Creek book came from not only those misconceptions in the world but rather those that we experience in the body of Christ as well. You don't know just how I feel this is so well put in. I love the title is, and so I know were all excited to hear the journey but also the hope that's on the other side of that journey and the other guest today is also somebody, new and what they're doing. We have Tony Boyd who is with team Jesus everything is possible. And so Tony, how fun to have you this morning right to be her rubbing flesh will have no I just looked a little bit first. What you said there didn't come to work everyday to two worship and praise God and to speak about them and to go to Pflugerville and one of Allston on privilege. It is for you from the two chosen by the creator of everything to represent heal, all you know this.

Just like if you chose somebody to go out here represent you vehicle you will hold them to a pretty high standard and holds us to a higher standard and I don't like the privilege lightly butter little team Jesus ministry world, a local outreach were influenced by his use of wood do things for people in the community there bought groceries for needy people took a group of underprivileged children to Walmart every year and give them money to buy their own Christmas presents to us anywhere we see them they would try to fill the and team Jesus is represented by this beautiful yellow Corvette only new carpets this or you to see that car you know you can see that it obviously was really high standard but in order to lower everybody's standards you know I have to do my shenanigans that that's the speak so speaking of feel right now. I so Gwendolyn, you know, as we start, please. This is a part of what we do in the show every week as we try to have a little bit of fun to lighten things up with before we get real heavy duty and was obviously running a bigger but to begin with, since this has to do with feelings right so speaking of feel it out for those who don't know my wife's name is Tammy so I feel like Tammy and I don't speak the same language. Sometimes I say long distance relationships and you know she says I have a restraining order, then that's not the right language right. And remember, said the boss. There is no up that's a different that's a different joke. I was last week. I've never recycle the joke in the middle of my jokes. But anyway vertigo but anyway, speaking of feel a fly feels about on its back, you been wondering about the sound and the bug in the bud says a fly on my back are you a might and and he said I might be giggles. The might, that's the worst one I ever heard drones. The fly what do you expect says the might be ready for this. Just let it out. All right, all right.

I came with it. If I came up with that on the flawed. So yeah there you go, and are you sweating allows putting fuel in your car these days, feeling sick when paying well you know which might have. Are you ready for this one gets me ready. Are you ready you know what you may have. It's a car owner virus coronavirus okay it's what I told the guy who gave up on Superman comics right I am told.

I said that wrong so I gotta get my jokes right here Tony, I am told the guy who gave up on Superman comics and I was told about him militarily until he feels marvelous tonight. He feels marvelous. You like that then you got well, okay, you knew that Marvel made all the comments okay so here's the actual little that she was coming on today's pursuit so and I do like this one, whose faith made Jesus Marv marvelous. We just didn't know who in the Bible did Jesus marvel at their faith. If you know the answer to that. You can call in and excited to date only garments of calm time with family and in answer to Bobby's memo. In answer to Robbie's mood today go in family fly back to get to the – even take on the ass – Bill toys the 23rd sets August 23 of understand their last home game so this is your last opportunity – before the snow so to speak in one herself 66 866-34-TRUTH 87884 866-34-TRUTH, you just have to tell us whose faith did Jesus marvel at. Again, 86634 truth and you can Windows – tickets we would love for you to do that so Gwendolyn I know everybody's kind of wondering the same thing I'm wondering so you had no hint at all that he was epileptic when he had that seizure, notoriety, and thank you for having me today that yet might find mildly know at 821 now I have done Matt Aldrich nine Robert was diagnosed in 18 and eight delete I family with very familiar with epilepsy.

I family you know we volunteered we thought we had out at about epileptic that when I found mild. My youngest son, but in college I got a call that Ms. Burton mild within the library. Daddy, a magnetic collet in the library stacks – got lots I can chalk that we got to go to a break. So when we come back from here a lot more from you. Don't know just how I feel. Gwendolyn Burton's new book as well as Tony Boyd with team Jesus everything is possible by glorifying God I love love love love is yellow Corvette circus much more coming up state you're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to where we hear how God takes your passion then uses it to build the kingdom and today we've got again poster children for about I feel so blessed to have witnessed Gwendolyn Burton she is a new author of you don't know just how I feel hope for the grieving heart as well as Tony Boyd with team Jesus, everything is possible. Romans 828 is right here on this card and you know really really neat. Oh by the way, I should mention that somebody called and I thought there gonna win the tickets to the – right all you do is tell us whose faith that Jesus marvel at for easy whose faith the Jesus marvel. I love that story. Like when there was a situation there in the Bible where Jesus marveled at the guys faith that's pretty interest pretty fast.

I think Tony is with your stump for that's a good thing as a listener, who's going to call 866-34-TRUTH 87884 they will be dashing before the snow on April 23 at the at the at the time but anyway one during the break you were telling me… Really, really cool that that you feel like everybody on earth has a purpose broad public God put everybody here for some specific reason. Some find some don't.

No doubt you found what you're supposed to do and everybody has a different opinion of why God put man here here team Jesus ministry is really about one thing, man was put here to please God. And so the home ministry is built around pleasing God by glorifying him anything would do. Whether it's the wood bag groceries for people that are having a hard time but just send us a message on her Facebook page.

In the Western questions we just go get groceries and delivered to, but would make sure God gets the glory. And everything would do and would do that that pleases the father know that Jesus said in John II do all things that please the father and I know you've heard the Scriptures say it is impossible to please the father without faith. All you can be more arrived and and you know I love that the line in chariots of fire.

Right when I run I can feel his pleasure. I remember that.

Then Hannity and Sarah Eric Lytle was a runner and he was supposed be a missionary in Africa and his sister was complaining to him in the movie that like you need to be a missionary in Africa. Well I'm going to go be a mission in Africa.

In Africa, but first I've got a run because when I run and he was a Olympic runner. I've run I can feel God's pleasure. Well, it's really neat about what you said Tony is that in the Lord's prayer right we all pray at every single time. My hope is frequently. A couple times a day and it says in our father art in heaven, hallowed be your name right by kingdom, and then it says that I will be done really interesting thing about that word will if you and I like to look at words really hard so she take the word, will and you look at it in the trance.

If you took it from what that the Septuagint would say the Hebrew equivalent word of that is the word Rexall Arezzo and in Hebrew means delight and so what you're actually saying when you say your will be done is not Jesus I want you to be her father. I want you to be delighted by which is not wanting to be pleased right if because of he's delighting righties feel his pleasures riot is the same. It's the same kind idea and I often think about that. I actually have what I call the RSV that's the Robbie standard version of the way I pray that you know because I usually will say or you know if you know your delight be done and then I say instead to give us this day our daily bread. Since Jesus is our daily bread. I was given since their daily Jesus just might be good enough just a little bit. I would talk about Lord we can do a new direction.

Why assume, but you talk about his will be done and so many times people probably in the but don't think about his will, they think about their wheel notes if I asked for anything I asked for very little, mostly forgiveness Muslims, but of course you know be a truck driver asked for safe trip and then always attitude if it be your will, you know and and people all time. Telemedia Tony pray for you.

Hope hope you have a safe trip out there so rudely true but you know what the worst thing that can happen to me is the best thing that could happen to them because I would be with Jesus. And so whatever the father's will is that's got to be our will also it's actually because God is for us, and can be against us right up. So something along comes along. He's got he's got something that's going to be absolutely, absolutely. The life what is the case. Obviously, Gwendolyn. I know everybody's brokenhearted about what what your family's been through. Obviously you have a lot of experience with epilepsy, but I guess what we gotta get to the point where we can kinda understand a little bit of what what you experienced. Can you take us there. Miles was diagnosed Alec at let me. I actually controlled with medication and start my unexpected and felt when she passed away. I did at family directed play of what happened. How could this happen.

Okay 10 minute before we went downstairs and had to face down the bad and fell only I never knew I couldn't have known Dan how God with you. My great journey to encourage the uplift and to provide validation and comfort to the undead Creek attorney and how the book came along. You don't know just how I feel that there and so I began writing this book, and I'm guessing that somebody came along I can kinda picture this may be in the centerline or some like I know how you feel. I'm so I'm guessing you're mirroring something that you heard from someone later title not only I but spoken with others.

Well, and actually that is one of the statement that greeting people told me that really caught it down letter. Thanks. When people say you don't know just how I feel you don't know you. I know how you feel and I believe that we cannot know exactly how a person field.

Although we may have similar our common law, we can't know exactly how a person feels a grieving person field because of that had a unique relationship with the president who die at who die and so that I have that title came along somewhat. You know, obviously people are.

It's an awkward thing I want to go to a funeral of a parent/child. It's really unthinkable. And so it's awkward what would you tell somebody would be a better thing to say and my I know doing the pain right now, and although I don't know. I can imagine that you're hurting deeply in debt and here for you and get to the point you think of that nature. Find something where you feel like they are essentially on your side and and and and want to be there and in the in the difficult times so you know you mentioned that obviously went into this place is unbelievable pain. What would happen. What was to turn around for me. There had been learned to navigate my great journey. Abby learned to expect not been a how they ate. A turnaround I believe that to some degree that I will grieve my child up for the rest of my life the loya jirga together again.

But then I also believe that very and moved forward on my great journey and knowing that I don't have to live with the excruciating raw pain of law that I experience during the first and early years. The objective for each person that asked for experience. The first few years after mouth and taken July I defended into the life of this past July. The stick here, and although I don't feel the excruciating raw agonizing pain that I felt when he passed away. I still feel pain in their day.

When that pain click me and I think that and I honor that I try to teach other how to respect and honor their pain as they move forward knowing that there will be a kind where the pain won't be can't but can no that there may still be day but you experience pain block students and said you know I kind of wanted to take back that Christmas is a came out of my mouth.

I know there could be no turnaround. I thought I'm glad you handled that graciously will find out more when we come back about Gwendolyn's hope journey how where she starts to find her hope and were she and I love that idea of respecting your pain and and I want to get in the battle more, as well as team Jesus all things are possible in and what Tony is doing with this yellow car is bright yellow you're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com.

Welcome back to pursuits where we hear how God takes passion and then to build the kingdom and just one form from Prescott was provided for us today. Tony Boyd would team Jesus everything is possible. Please God by glorifying him.

I love that love that line and Gwendolyn Burton.

She is the author of you don't know just how I feel hope for the grieving heart and I would point out that her book is there a team to pursuits.com and you can order) from Amazon but not always tell people is for new authors man you have no idea what kind encouragement you've got in your hand when you buy a book on Amazon and you go back and you write that book and you tell it author.

Not only that you enjoyed the book, but specifically you know I read this part of it meant so much to me what encouragement you can be his people go on this journey right there scared to death to write a book. I'm I know I would be and then they step out and do it and then I owe to have somebody come back and say God touch me when they read two books a minute means so much so as you order books on Amazon.

You know think there's somebody out there that the labor self output, a lot of risk in order to come on and do that but now I have the absolute joy have I have all these revelers. We have many Jill in Orlando are all calling with answer to whose faith in Jesus marveled at me before I give this to anybody.

When we say that none of them apparently are going to the desk and because minis in Ohio.

Jill is in Richmond and Orlando says he just wants answer no price so you 3.all means stay on because I want to get all three of you but to somebody else must call in the alley wants to come to the best game in a work we got you we got room for you at 866-34-TRUTH 87884. The first friend of many is in Ohio.

How exciting is that many are on the kingdom pursuits good morning so whose faith in Jesus marveled at. Soldier is not cool is not clear out of Jill and Orlando stay with me if you have the same answer but it was one of the neatest things that you didn't marvel at any of the Jews face. He he marveled at this Roman centurion's faith and and what you think. Many it was that he marveled at you just say the word and I know it can happen because I say the word.

Things happen for me are your exact authority that he had authority so you know how he had to say the word, not even have to come home. He was adamant about her Christ. Just wanted him to speak the word is the servant would be better if you will be well, he wouldn't be sick anymore. So Wilson well said many, I'm guessing you don't want to go to the – came in Winston-Salem last week here with good of the tickets, but we have a prize fault that we are to give you access to some pushback on hold and let Tom our producer, get your information so we can help you out. There was something many. I'm so grateful for your answers. Just beautiful. Thank you. Okay so next up we have Jill, who is in Richmond so Jill, you are on kingdom pursuits good morning that you have got you if you got another answer about whose why I love it I love it.

I would love to know your take on that verse. No, I'm not being that I think it's absolutely wonderful Jill that you would call us. I'm really honored that you would be that you would take the time to do that and you would listen to your station I listened to Billy Heston in Richmond so hopefully you find are so somewhat entertaining. Appreciate you listening calling my time with you till I also signed and you have the answer right you know your Bible.

It sounds like that you said you're not Christians. What do you consider Christian debate could you define it. Please do not you don't believe in Jesus and see him. I don't understand what you so you know is she saying that she doesn't believe that mankind is bad inherently. She believes all men are good are you right right, just great sincere call. We really aren't great since I listened okay. God bless our ride we got Orlando is in the high point, my old friend Orlando Orlando you're on kingdom pursuits good morning good morning Robbie, are you go. I am awesome I am awesome and we can all be time for Jill. She sounds a bit yet that's the main thing that is the main thing you need to know the father mostly drawing her to be listening to a Christian should then the GS said.

No one comes to fatherless he draws. It's an interesting situation is not out about it, she sounds like a very intelligent person and
