I'm telling I'm telling if you're in for some joy because group that we have here today say that they have joy would be an understatement. As I've been listening to for a few minutes and even though one of them.

You know you he's when you say that work. His joy is covered well covered being you will get all that you never met Bob very well. You know he's with the hero center and he is with us today. He is passionate for years and years and years and been for our military heroes in so many ways, but he also has another passion I'm very familiar with that for community and the community of High Point specifically and so with that, he has his other guest with this witches were quick and he is with miracle Temple. He's the pastor there of deliverance, which is a part of the Church of God in Christ and may have an event is huge. It's come up April 3. It's called covered by 33 which you can find out about 33. Oh my goodness it's a community event coming up in High Point and I'm guessing pastor. This was, your idea well it was a collaboration. I guess I want to say this to Bob always has great ideas and so we decided to bring ideas together so that we can better help the community and so I'm very grateful for being able to have this event at the hero center and so that we can let people know what covered by 33 is all about, and this is very important in especially during the season of our lives because we were were coming out of the backside of covert and one of the things that covert hook was confidence in so covered by 33.

What it does is is here to encourage us to let us know that our faith is not in covert medicine. Affect is encumbered by 33 and manlike. It's so simple and so profound that I've never heard of before.

Well, it is a reflection of my entire life. If if you know anything about me. God has brought me through so much and it explains why my name is Orrick my name Orrick action means Oaktree and which means long-lasting means endurance and means strong strength a lot of different things because I have been dated twice in my lifetime I've been in a coma of lost my eyesight from a deadly car accident be in the hospital for 48 weeks in a body cast with 13 weeks I was hit by a call when I was five years old, died on the spot God raised me back up living as though I got thrown at the back windshield of a car car flipped on top of me and I even once a four years ago we had a house fire and God save me, my family from that and so many different things God showed me Orrick. You have always been covered by 33 now what is covered by 33 simply means what we all know that Jesus Christ died on that cross and the age of 33 years old, which means rose from the dead, and the age of 33 years old. Now what does that mean estimate means every promise that was made for the whole race the entire world was instituted employment and put in place when Christ rose again from from the day and so when you say you're covered by 33 is simply means you are covered by a promise that's what it means that what all the promises of God better in that Bible.

You are entitled to because you are covered by 33 in one of those promises. LOL there's more and we got callers. I don't have to look over my shoulder. My sins are forgiven and in part of the reason why you know I do a tremendous amount of counseling and is sometimes this is easier to forgive other people better than to forgive yourself and so is so important that that all of us take the time and forgive ourselves of some of the things you know one thing that was it was on my mind many years ago I got had to help me get over you know sometimes you think I should be for a little farther along in my life with this sort going together, you got to know that wherever God has you is exactly where he wants you to be at that moment.

At that, so she is very important that we all understand that forgiveness is that covering you know understanding that he for gave it. That's why he went to the cross he went to the cross so we could have that forgiveness available at any given time.

You know when we can see it but realized it as I began to understand that principle when what we hope that the people come out will gather that principle because were trying to communicate that covered by 33 to individual testimonies as actual lies not preaching the people whose actual lives and so I was thinking in my own life way back in the beginning when I was a combat officer in Vietnam and the first day I was on station nodding country, but on station. That being one of those moments.

So, what is covered by 33 mean fear it's peace right so that we can have peace in the midst of fear. This is just this phenomenal down neglected meeting of yourself getting out that it's a community thing because when you come out you encourage all the other people became easy and so you being part of this you know this is this is your community. And when when you told that story.

What happened I owe him covered by 33 now is this is this is a good man and so you hear those kind of testimonies when you come out of this community event your family. Maybe that person you've been trying to witness to God has a divine out there so we got some way that I know welcome back to the person that takes your and uses it to build the kingdom. They got you know… There is really is a dog show in Vermont. I understand there's a bite dog, which were all interested in out about that one. You think that God is not necessarily affectionate, there's so many things that we pass on to God because of our fathers, and so that relationship another Rotary building that in our own lives and also passing on a good one for children it's it's it's a wonderful topic. Jesus used his parables writing stories speak to the heart is right word speak to the head to what ever intellect that man in of this transaction that were gonna have in order to get covered is your heart that needs the covering right and so the stories you know, can you give us some hint of which got lined up there, you know, what was Scripture pops up in my mind now that the mouse is and we overcame them overcame him by the blood of the blood of the Lamb and the word of his testimony and so that that is so key because if you go back through even when so many people were going through the user testimony as an introduction to their God, and so at the end of the day, you can never deny a person's testimony because it personally happened to them.

And so when when you make that connection with the Scriptures and your testimony. That's when sometimes people light bulb goes off because sometimes people think that the bow was some distant mystical thing that only happened to people long time ago. But when you have a personal testimony that happened to you about me or will the case would be I want to blow your mind a little bit but God told me back in 2012. He said all right. He said I can give you anything if you have faith, he said all right, give you a house for free make you debt free will.

Wait a minute how you going to do that is that you are getting a good job and Emma take money from his good job and pay my mortgage off. He says no it is all right I own everything he says if your faith is able to digest what I'm speaking to you and five years later he totally eradicate my loan, my mortgage and is things like that that that institutes more faith that that that spark in my heart that lets me know that God is real. One of my favorite things along those lines to think about was I had up. Actually, my producer one point in time. Here was my daughter's Mike my son's girlfriend, but the first time I met her, actually you know she had a friend that was gay and my kids were setting me up to start a controversies repair actually doing because I knew I never really my opinion of Ellen degenerate so you know they set up this thing so that I would get in a fight with this young lady that was my brother. My sons new girlfriend name is team and sit Tina sit Mary and Chris on my kids as well, hey dad, if you seen Ellen degenerate says this new show in a course immediately. I made a bad word and she bore she turned on me and here came the fire and I could see them arrive and she was like, so your you know I do you have this opinion about gay people and off it went right. It was really bad. I was listening and I was trying to like what what I do here and I said Tina Tina, please, please, please forgive me.

What she's been through. Her story is.

You know she may be 10 times more godly me.

I have no idea, but what because I went through all the sexual sin in my own life. Believe me I did, but what happened was I met Jesus who actually showed me how he paid for that and how he covered that. And in and it made all the difference in my life and in a few weeks after that conversation with Tina. She came up to me and she said you know the thing about that discussion that day was you talk like you knew him and I didn't ever know you could know God, so they look over the city and the pain in the city and the perception of injustice and isolation of being separated is to recognize that that pain that injustice said all that's happened to you can be covered by forgiveness. Forgiveness is such a wonderful gift from God to cover our hurt our finances are injustices and when you have that then you can have peace inside himself is look at this event, we see a city that is hurting as many other cities always well that we want this event not just to be one day event giving testimony, but we would like to have organizations actually come out set up a table that's covering the city will glisten with food alliance or what it was world relief or what it might be. So that is people get the vision how they can be covered by 33 they can volunteer be part of the southern organization that on an ongoing basis throughout the year can also impact and be covered by 33.

It entitles you to his will that you are able to get anything that you need inside of the will of God. But that's exactly what they are and the part of being covered allows you to see how God sees you know your service and and and what you signed up for.
