You know there's not a lot of people have a passion for prison but I guess it could happen. I was getting. He has a passion I got it as a passion for those who are experiencing it in and also Jerry, let me just say it and you may not know this but one of the biggest joys I get from letter from listeners is how many prisoners listen to the Truth Network and how many people tell me in a Robbie when I was imprisoning us to love your riddles and 1/2. She stepped up its head and I've even been asked to speak in certain groups that that of people that support groups people getting out of prison and stuff to because they listen right and so were so great center that's part of the group. Well, there's there's just so many certain people and set certain humor and a bit like Beth and she can laugh. Thank you Scott: believe me, so getting back to pastor Matthew, I think we've held everybody in suspense long enough so what is what is going on Pinedale and when is it going. I don't like `not like to be national guidelines but it is a big deal for church and I think for community yet remember a year ago we did not have anybody in the building on Easter Sunday and I just remember walking down the hall to the work dinner and crying. On the way and I'm not embarrassed to say that don't belong and we had a good service that morning and we had great engagement line and we thank God for the opportunity but it just hurt to be a part Easter and we wanted to celebrate together. But if you were back in the building but we still have to stay right out. You know you're still in place and were not quite the other end of all of the best we've been in and so for us to do Easter Sunday butter building.

We would have to do for five and so everybody in the building but don't part is that what we decided to do this year is just take church outside and not is not like a sunrise service but what were doing at 11 o'clock we are taken one of our parking lot and we bought an 80,000 ft.² parking lot and setting up stage at one end and getting down to just right and had everybody bring a chair and a blanket degree grill for tailgating if you want to that part might be a joke, but maybe not a get what you would awesome since you want to. We we just won't we want our family together.

Parents and kids we want our church family together. We want community to be together in such an isolated year and so were just invite everybody to come outside. We can spread out and they and people just I think will naturally go deeper outside and have our worship celebration because we have a lot to celebrate. Where were celebrating the resurrection of our state and in the same time. Where were celebrating what God had done with the past year and your here we are not were not out of the woods, but were on the were deftly on the other side, then a long year and I think it is time for us to be together and praise.

But one boy that's beautiful absolutely beautiful and and he's I think of you guys that are in prison and you know, can you share another story with this of somebody that got that kind of prison break that actually you know to be free from their sin. Absolutely a lot of people that have been following along with CLI past year probably thought it would began expanding over the first time in her 25 years of ministry, and there's a story coming out of the looking really phenomenal and we have a team of volunteer pastors getting back in their pocket ability in the Manila capital city area and since October I've been going on for prison donning PPE and attending gospel presentation in front of hundreds of inmate I am then returning in the quite weak in smaller group and I journey through the CLI Bible study curriculum course and that we offer and there were a young man y'all can map our lead pastor John L over there and through his preaching trusted in Christ and started developing a relationship with Family Court. He actually was released and enjoying that that nation group and returned back to the jail.

He was released from a mental and leading others to Christ by Clement the Bible study.

I love that story you you know what Scripture with Jesus and the demoniac man.

You know how everyone would expect that the time come and follow me in the opposite year and tell everybody what got it done in your life and we just believe that firm only and make their mission field is other inmates that are incarcerated in while they're starting at him, or even on the outside. God called them the story that he's uniquely writing an ally share Christ with others on the inside nonbelieving prison guard and everybody at such an incredible opportunity to serve God behind bars even as we learned about that that Paul and Silas story of a state court. God even when the chains are broken down. That's when it comes to mind-body you know I love that that you know he can relate to those people in that culture with their language and you know is only someone that a Filipino good writer minutes. It is like God completely mobilizing and then lots and lots of people in the generations literally. Jerry generations that are going to be affected, and we get a chance to invest in what God is doing right we get to see what God's doing. I really don't know somebody else and all the sudden this power and dad and I think the last year, 12 months, 13 months what we been going through is a quick talk about the prisons it's all the isolation part and also we as a country have isolated herself and that's why prison is important gathering of churches back together is so important.

So getting back to pastor Matthew you know that the more I thought about how God got put seashells together, you know that it is no, I kind of just leave it open for who get scheduled and and Jerry called me this week and said hey you know we we need to talk about what would going on a pine Pinedale and I was like yeah it's great that I had given no thought to the fact that you know I knew that the CLI was going beyond with this because we only got this campaign going is exciting. But do you not see the prison break that coming this just God's whole theme that he gave us today. Jerry and you know those people that are incarcerated, which we all were Leftwich fail said write that bit you know you were just caught by men. That is so, so, so true, and every one of us can raise her hand because absolutely we you know I am so grateful that I'm not judged by man, for what all God knows about me and then and has shown his grace and then that and forgiven me over because we've all been there and Stephanie and I think about you know that. Think about the Brisbane Robbie talk but this just a moment when the break. How how what we have gone through is a country and through as a world almost what we've isolated herself a step yet. Whenever you have nothing in just those visits and step in how much they mean to somebody in prison and all the sudden that's taken away and then just the groups going and doing a Bible study. I know Pinedale has a prison ministry where where where a group is going to once a week and all of that stopped them you lost all of that and then just think the imports just heaven that Bible where you can just go to God's word because all the sudden is just as solemnly on chat and I and a lot of you know me well know that I have a dear friend is incarcerated for 15 years. He got out last November and we visit them all the way through. But when covert hit no visits right and you think about it and I know for him.

In fact, he's coming over tonight for dinner sometime excited about, but he lived for for the letters that came in and he lived for the visits because you're not living for the food. Believe me, that that if you're in prison. I never heard anybody salamander foods great it.

It's all okay and you live in under fear at this and that the other. Now add covert into the equation and oh my goodness and and what he if you said about this being for such a time right they don't have hope to be found in many other in any which by the way, none of us do, but they really are. This is for such a time as this right here absolutely. I grab I'm glad day, heading that direction about CLI market last year when a pandemic really and I didn't know the lockdown occurred. We've been getting an massive influx of inmates enrolling in a course on Bible and a lot of ministry volunteers had been serving on the inside been coming on board with and continuing to minister to inmate be a lifeline by participating in our Bible correspondence course program and where volunteers are repeating inmate Bible study electing revealing than in offering spiritual encouragement and that it can huge huge huge opportunity for the church to not remain locked down but to actually advance or word I get in I shared earlier about a gentleman that was suicidal lately so much isolation and depression and suicidal ideation by inmates because there at 19 and the lockdown and incredible to see how God has worked three to Christian and not in the Bible study courses's beautiful Guinness CLI.that CLI Christian library in the national which to CLI.world and Bibles for inmates there doing a match right now so you know however you know God just blessed this and in the they're going through this month with special emphasis on this match, and Bibles for inmates but meanwhile I would get this big prison break going on Easter you know Pinedale and you know Matthew I I am with you like we all shed a tear that the churches got hit so hard by not being able to come together and and I actually teach special needs journals and we are still on zoom but unfortunately because so many of our students can't do zoom in our our class got cut two thirds and so to be able to come together which work from what I understand him have the first opportunity to come together on Easter. Again, this is certainly something to celebrate his freedom was the reason for Passover that they got out of the slavery and and we can get out for freedom right out of this prison break come up to see Stuart find it absolutely the thing about it is that you're a prison to and or it can be the height turned on on this pandemic end and we moved into the summer, and I think there is good reason for optimism that, on the other side where we are almost to a place where people can start back out of the sunlight, I think were going to be a lot of a lot of your people trapped but I think what God with faith.
