It is a beautiful Saturday morning in order to have really really exciting guest on my show today and is always God bless, socks, talk to amazing people that God's given visions Florence stories and things and so start off with for such a time as this.

We have my good friend Alex McFarland's recent book, how to defend America before it's too late. Seems a bit timely there.

Alex good morning brought joy to hear your voice) it is that it is always and so I'm really excited to hear your thoughts along current lines and and get into this book and the things that really we have opportunities to pray like never before. Perhaps and and and what God is teaching us so and then yeah Alex.

I know there's a lot of people's minds about the country and everything but let a little light and fun to begin with, may I with you how I always do something like begin with Alex often very excited about you quizzing me you know I am the host of Robbie's riddle. So, no doubt, will let you in our lifetime and I think you know me pretty well, let's play a game called what was he driving all sounds fun as you may know Joann's are the distance she's planning on really patiently but on the Christian cargo to so this is extra fun.

Okay, so the privilege of coming on you this morning did I run my errands this morning and a 2008 Dodge Caravan or be a 2000 Dodge pickup be a 1979 trail Dr. house on I will quit that will thin the copy of my new meeting, so I would just hope that the that you took the trail blazed the trail duster because it did you say is a trail duster so that it's in Plymouth right yeah Robbie and I are long car I got it I don't need to digress here but yet there now for extra credit. So I know exactly what the trail busters were so I get into. We now have ram chargers there at crown Dodge in 1991.

They have not even changed the dashboard on this car since 1972, or three. I guess the way I should say that I Joanne and and I love that title. Being a grandparent myself and I also dearly, dearly, dearly, dearly loved my grandmother love to read to us and I can remember those times in and she loved to read Bible stories and and they were just very warm precious memories because as you might guess, this is a little dramatic and on the same… Might find so you know the rabbit. I do have time for metalsmithing.

Many have a cow run and since were having fun will just do that and I'll get on the other stuff so speaking of stories right now.

I've been reading Joanne's story and prayer. That's interesting and in and you know I am thinking that it's Jesus to the rescue like I can just feel it. Alex, you can laugh as well. Obviously, most of it with you, but my wife she was like Robbie if if Trump fights this is present from fights this thing. It's chemist it's going to kick off all kinds of riots it's can it you know it's going to do this that and the other and I looked at her and I said honey there is there is just to quote one of my favorite movie. Seems that since Sean Connery recently passed where my quota a little bit from the first night he said there's a peace that only comes on the other side of war, and I don't mean war from a standpoint of necessarily that I want people to go into battle, but the spiritual war that you're talking about is couldn't be more real and that is where the battle actually is our bladder list against flesh and blood rights against spiritual forces in high places and the cave because were afraid of violence is the last thing that I in my mind. We need to do what God has an agenda and we need to make sure that were on his agenda right are you still with me, Alex. I cannot really grant November 7, 1980 and you know this like the struggle but wonderful number wanted to know Christ and to all of your listeners.

If you've never asked Jesus into your day. You know obviously that greatest method that we could convey it know Jesus but then once you're a Christian like this wonderful adventure of representing the gospel sharing think people get, you know, I don't know the fact that the dead telegram was born is really comfort me to, you know, just remind me that Christ is in control to gladden will. I was very blessed to live with my grandmother and I'm so excited here about the book by your yeah but my grandmother were believers, but one of my great grandmother my dad's mom. She was blind and she would have me read and she would tell me stories about the depression and things like that but she was a devout believer and she would ask me know that she went blind.

She said would you Alex, would you rate yes ma'am grandmother agreed me that the John chapter 3 how does it go Nicodemus and I would read that with the return of their day. One of my best friends always credits his grandmother. He was in the service in Europe get involved in all sorts of things.

She kept on sending letters. I'm praying for you and praying for you. When he came back.

This woman came in your life you got saved. But he always credits his grandmother with that faith that you know it's just that superduper stuff will so I like like you said the Sean Connery quote look like a struggle.

None of us like to have to flex legal muscle or really big in her heel remind you, this country is worth fighting for. It been my privilege in the course administrated in nicely. Much of the world and I will tell you unequivocally that the greatest nation in terms of prosperity opportunity stability and and yeah the devil wants America to fall of the devil wants America to fall one thing… That was just amazing Monday afternoon, November 2, 4:37 PM the issue than an executive order, 1776 commission and this was just Monday and Robbie always tried to unpack out significant but basically the executive order of Monday afternoon which got no coverage in the news but… Public schools are teaching our kids hate America to vilify the founders and we have to teach our history that America is great we accomplish great things and we have to teach people to love America not hate America and so for the next two years, and that I will renew this that I need two years so I mean he was presuming he would win and I credit the miracle got but you look this is where we live. Let's not denigrate America. Let stand for America and so I pray because the devil want our nation to implode. We do not want to be social anomie how a mark then be our vice president. I mean, I deeply concerned for religious freedom for 2000 other things as well start pray for this country. I mean, it really is, since it's an opportunity and in no doubt God is in charge and he will intervene and you know one of the benefits of prayer, regardless right as we get closer to God and closer to what what plan he may have for us next in and and our opportunity to take part in the kingdom, whatever that may look like and quite often it just has to do is sharing your own story about what I've done in your life just like you just did about your grandmother Alex will let let me encourage everybody every believer understand that you know we had the privilege of my goodness what a great privilege to witness for Jesus and to tell people about the way of salvation and thank the Lord for Billy Graham and David Jeremiah Bobby Gilmore, you know, Charles Stanley, Emmett, we have Franklin Graham. We have many great Christian leaders, but there may be a person that God's word found that you lead to crime and though you can hear my dog just get me in a witness we we can think about is eternity telling them about how that's absolute absolutely the case and and it's a really beautiful thing.

What's the one thing in your new booklet that you would love for our listeners to discover. You know just whether appetite a bit. Well the role that moral place in our country. In my book the assault on America how to defend our nation before it's too late, and it's available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble everywhere but I talk about more and how the founders believed that morality was the key to the success of this nation and I agree, and cannot talk about how to share with people what morality is and how if we continue to become a nation without moral dangers.

That's going to be well absolutely and we can see not only do we have it in state and on our country, but in our homes right is and so yeah and it is one of the thing I could point out it is the role of the church. Now let me encourage pastors and out, I pestered several churches in spoken in 2000 and literally. But many ministers nowadays.

Robbie date. Think alike inappropriate for them to speak about politics and I would disagree about the way George Barnett that more than 75% of parishioners walk their clergy to speak about moral, social and political issues, but only about 9% do anything but 600,000 ordained ministers and pastors, and only about 9% speak what the Lord about moral, social, political issues, and look this election would be different. Our country would be different if pastors would from their pulpit look. We love you but this is the word of God and homosexuality. God loves you.

Anybody can be born again, but on the sexuality and heterosexual promiscuity is so we we must have a spiritual revival in this country and maybe the hard times that were in struggle over burden all of the unit problems we face. Maybe this is really something that will as Corrie 10 boom that will knock us to our need, so that we could turn to God and pray exactly that's a wonderful opportunity right now so it now. I mean this for such a time as this. In the end God gave us the dignity of being the church. The friends of Jesus. Right now, and I met and and you know we have the honor really of of pram like never before.

She never stop praying she tell God she didn't care how bad situation. She knew he was God. She said you are the miracle maker you gave me my phone and have it finished raising him.

God I trust you. You are my help.

You are my hope, I want to see the victory. Now I need it now. Got that very moment. Uncle Simon someone. Ethan little red pop up out of the water a few feet away. As it floated off. Uncle Simon ran with all his might to get the spot, but came up the water with up to his hip.

He had to fight hard to predict a permit doing mud closed in on him with each step he reached the spot dear guy help me with under the water.

Simon went. He felt around. He felt the culvert he reached the he felt something like that, but he couldn't get a grip and uncle Simon quickly came up, took a deep breath and manically when it went under the water again. His head was underwater, but it's people kicking something awful above the water. He reached in the culvert. He felt the leg pain deep in flag this with the most scared. Uncle Simon had ever been in his black what if he thought he read anything to write out a backhoe and was a key one even crying and going really going to play in Atlanta couldn't get anything didn't have a scratch on him and Liz started praising God and ran to grab Ethan she pray thank you for this miracle. Thank you for your blessing. She snatched Ethan up loved on him and this got into the ambulance. But the paramedics and red with Ethan to the hospital to be checked out when amulet pulled and turn on the firemen poor uncle Simon collapsed his leg just gave out. He realized that God had just formed a miracle for him for his family. He was overwhelmed with gratitude.
