Her name is Janice Sean that she felt called to write this children's book and and I just found out a minute ago that actually her degrees in illustration and like when if you see this book. I'm a tell you like it is phenomenally beautifully illustrated and it is such a sweet story.

Thank you. Thank you. I'm so glad to be here so excited really save listen for a long time yeah yeah I have I have often on, but usually when a Camarillo on time.

I grew up in India for the first 17 years of my life and then came to the United States and in 1991 to go to college and fill out the been here for a long time.

I'm about you but I'm just giving it one star and you may know this Janice son doesn't have to go to college and align 28 million° in one that I heard this story than to sitting on some one said to the other.

I'm getting pretty hot bacon there. It's just unbelievable. 866-34-TRUTH 87884 866-34-TRUTH so pastor apparently based on what I read you actually you you you were raised Muslim well my dad was raised Muslim and he came to know Christ at a very young age and that will have that testimony. I grew up in a Christian home dad but money going up in the older I get, I realized what all he endured persecution kicked out of the family home and so every day I have more appreciation for my dad than I did before I missed that. But it was easy, but I I'm I'm so glad to get that. So it's really cool your second-generation then I am right on the second-generation Christian and that that is the first generation is still pastoring in India E 84 and he is pastoring its first and only church so now it coming up to about 57 or so age years in ministry of that church and so is that church where he was originally where his family was no sir.

He grew up in the south of India and out in a wealthy family, a Muslim family. They were not fundamentalist but when my dad shared with his father that he was saved and that the Christ that changed his life. His father gave him the ultimatum to leave his home that night and and that he was he was a gracious man and because of that he will let him leave alive and so before the night was over, my dad left his home course through the years he visited back in this sort of reconcile the fact that no longer become a Muslim again, but it was never the same.

You church that you hear Sundays 830 WBR you welcome back to how God takes your passion and uses it to build so blessed to have with this pastor Paul Shaw with a clear view church which is in Henderson but also Tom Sundays. I know you guys were excited to hear him submit mornings at 830 on WTR you out in Raleigh and then we have Janice Young who is the author of the brand-new children's book and when I I did not know that she had illustrated it and I was like ma'am where did you find this illustrator like I like what it because usually what when I interview children's book authors. They found some outstanding illustrated in Genesis case is a new how good the storyline was in his book like I was that I was dying to know what happens to sunshine and with all this.

So I was like there's no way you had to have somebody else that but now she did the illustration that was what she was trying to do but Janice tell me how did you sense God leading you to this project. Well basically it came out in 19 2014 and when would have was like 2010 2014 Canon just fell off the Christian wagon for period of time when others cannot. Been doing my own thing and you were sunshine near Chase exactly so. It was about 2014 and during that time it got even closer to the Holy Spirit was just coming. He was just frustrating me and frustrating and frustrating about situation that was in an fight me.

He knows he knows exactly how to get your attention, my God, when he chasing you.

You know it, and the most beautiful thing that happened was even all the time that I've been a Christian, I always knew God love me but it was in my head I could never get it in my heart, and after the Lord had chasing me like I had this vision that I was on this cliff as a lamb and Jesus was down at the bottom and I fell down from the cliff and I fell right into Jesus's arms and at that same moment, the love that God has made it came straight from my head into my heart like I felt like I felt, and from that day on I never had I known Jesus love have no doubt truly beautiful. You give me an opportunity to tell this construction want to do it for couple weeks is the Jews teach this concept of the ball teshuvah which probably never heard that word. But Jesus taught the concept when he was talk about the prodigal son and what they teach, actually, is that this person which all means actually master and teshuvah is one that returned like spring comes in when you return. Right. So this person is returning to the master which actually name of my riddle is happens to be the original ball in the Bible and it is not necessarily an idol. It has to do with being Lord and so this ball teshuvah somebody who returns to the Lord.

But what they teach is that the ball teshuvah has a better seat at the table is at eight. What that means. This attic is the righteous one. It's actually the older brother. Okay so inched when when God was teaching the parable of the of the prodigal older brother was is that it never done anything all that bad, so he didn't understand what it was that the sun got the younger son discovered in his repentance and his returning to the father and so as a result right it there something in your heart. Having fallen off the Christian wagon like you're talking about that that makes you the ball teshuvah met me I was wonderful and pastor you may know a lot better than I what I'm talking about. God values the one who returns in an repentance and and he restores them so much more. So yeah absolutely right and I know it's my story I have certainly needed to return so many times. So how did that what I'm interested. Your dad was so you grew up in a Christian home, but I have a sense that probably at some point in time you experienced sort of a return.

Absolutely a lot, actually give my heart to the Lord, or years of age very young and and then grew up in a Christian home pastor's family. Dad was also missionary you so we would always be out witnessing to people. Mom and dad told family and then I came to United States them, how it is you know you you you think you missed out on life so you start venturing out and I ventured out not to fall never did anything horrible, terrible, but church attendance dropped in and I wasn't reading the Bible on daily basis praying like I should feel that the Lord and then through a series of crises in my life. God brought me back so please God and have to venture too far for him to bring me back when he did not never left and it's been in my story that God will will restore and you done that for me and I'm grateful we are to see that as a result of finding out, what should Mr. see her the previous show is one Bob came back from no junior-college that he discovered how wonderful his mother's fried squash was so and I was you had a just a taste God's fried squash when you came back you know that clearly is led to an overflow in your life for you. You have this ministry, there at Clearview and so can you share with our listeners little bit what I what God really is put on your heart to share three regular week.

We are grateful 22 years Nicole and I my wife and I have been serving here and start out with a small church barely maybe 10 or 15 would be a good Sunday we would go home and talk like we have 15 500 we feel we're very grateful and today, even in the myth of the craziness in 2020 oh world and then people coming in and we have four services every weekend while in God is just doing some amazing things lives are being transformed. Families are coming in and were just in all because not enough Christ working through us and is very evident that the soap beyond cool.

So Janice, you gotta take us in a little bit for sunshine. She has some friends. This is about a sheep in the beautiful thing about her book that she saw this vision that I now understand, was about a sheep. So take us into the storyline a little bit. You have to see the illustration I really appreciate all that sunshine is experiencing here but so tell us about well stuff is my thing, when God gave me when he gave in the story gave to me back in 2014, but it was a couple years exit 17 before I actually started to write it and incisive based off of my you know my experience and what what what it is with sunshine sees this curious lamb and teased us when Jesus is always talking to them in teaching them and you know telling them you know not to stray off because of big bad wolf.

He and the wolves always try to get his feet and he's on you know this wanting them to listen and to learn in.

Of course sunshine sees off wandering around not paying paying any attention sees all sniffing flowers and chasing butterflies and this one particular day suggests that she's gonna know if he tells Wesley and sweep me that she's going to go often. No wonder around a bit as he tried to get them to go with her and they tell her no and they try to convince her not to go but does anyway and I can't.

I can't really really wanders off and you know next thinks he knows you know getting dark and she has no idea where she's in Jesus and I love course gets more than just a minute, but I have to tell you that the intimacy that is described in this book. It's a children's book but as you get it completely as you read it between these other sheep talking to Jesus about what's happened with sunshine and I what Jesus explains to them is going to happen as a result of the shenanigans you know this is all this just a beautiful beautiful you content will clearly tell a Holy Spirit inspired story and so it's called sunshine and butterflies insert kingdom pursuits, but I have to tell you I'm deeply sad that no one has called in on my rental as I was thinking about going is that I may have misled you with the with the housewarming party.

It was just a joke. Okay, this actually about the smoking furnace was outside okay I don't want you to think it was a house in a way for this particular Bible character.

I love the mother-daughter idea will not hold line all night and going down my people become so if you couldn't hear. That is, clearly, this is what Amy shows going to be about our the stigma right and since my mother-in-law lives with my wife like I get the stigma firsthand all the time that there is a mother-daughter thing and and I am actually since I had two daughters. I watched the stigma kinda take place right in front of me. You know, with two different daughters like something happens between age of 14 and like mothers and daughters, but then something happens.

Amy I love you notice this when they turn about 28 or something that all the sudden that you can separate them with a with a hatchet you know that all suddenly they went from like I don't know what it was going on but now the stigma is changed in the ME and I and I can say that with both my daughters a relationship with their mother is unbelievable and so I'm so glad to talk about is people can call in his live. They can call in the same number that they called him and did my little so Amy thought, thank you so much for doing the show that's courageous. And like I say you not this is my book. I feel strange saying that because it's not my book. It's God's book, because he gave it he gave it to me and he gave me the story to write and I am just I can't even express how thankful and how grateful I am to the Lord and for the talent that he gave me because of the period of time accept going completely for like 16 years online I was done with withdrawing the Lord said he came he said gave me this book in got me back on coming back on the road and I had a lot of encouragement from family and friends my dad my sister gave us gifts and then they start calling out on yes that's yes that's Bianco I need to tell you that if you go to kingdom person's right you can see sunshine butterflies there.
