I know most you guys 855-2124 CBS is 855-2124 CBS also get a hold of me. I'm on social media everywhere at JR sport brief tonight is been interesting.

We talked about Tiger Woods being a superhero. We talked about Lamar Jackson having something to prove. We talked about Alan Rogers already complaining about his wide receivers also muddy needs to step up and not drop the ball a matter fact you know as much as Erin Rogers gets on my damn nerves and some of yours. Let's listen to them talk about some of his his young wideouts listen is good practice. So it's unfortunate some of the same guys that that's you repeat mistakes or problem always got clean those things up a little bit young guys you especially on receivers we have been way more consistent Lotta Lotta drops.

Lotta you know background decisions run the wrong route you really are better in that area run in the wrong route okay young guys. I guess he's not complaining that that much. Not everybody could be divorce right and as we continue on in a few minutes I'll man we we gotta talk about Lebron James and not for any bad reason. We all know about his son Brontė 17 years old. One more year left in school and that he will probably be off the college and in one year. After that he'll probably be in the NBA. Lebron James has made it clear he wants to play and will play with his son, but there's a guy he's 70 years old. He holds a prominent position in sports broadcasting and he's made a career out of just distant. Lebron and Allie's involvement is kicked to the unexplained that's even a minute, 855-2124 CBS Christmas call from Baltimore. Go ahead Chris, your CBS sports radio. You show every night with thank you Chris yet can go to sleep at night. Your body hey that's you, not the first person tell me that the go-ahead okay to me the best coach in football and I been following him since he was with the New York Giants and I'm sure I remember correctly it wants in writing when they won Super Bowl guy those years he was with two level yes so you have more Ray Bendigo if he does, he has eight that is correctly though better than Brady and you have to be very fortunate and lucky that he had Bill Belichick as a coach because we might never feel okay well I think it's a I think it's a mutually beneficial relationship that is taken place in thank you Chris for calling from Baltimore unit regardless of whether they like it or not they are connected at the hip.

Their legacies are connected at the hip and people that I have these conversations, or ever should gotta give both of them there credit where it's due. It's impossible.

They are together can split would not gonna find out how it was just how it is Elaine Kohler from Oklahoma. Your CBS was ready to tell you before I heard you anything at Harley and I'm telling you that right now you have made a here different than my attitude about Orit and not only can I not go to sleep without hearing you I can get to the gym in the gym without you all will thank you Elaine.

That's that's amazing what what what what what will I need to do that. So nice of you to say what must you know everybody laugh again I say something they lack true candidate.

Felt very dead. But I wanted to say any real quick and I don't want to take your time.

Thank you. We were talking about the goat Mohammed Eileen greatest of all time and everybody thinks that him as being great because of his athleticism enhanced his thigh and his arm was a little bit longer than a man about his height and build. I think had a slight advantage but everything with him with between ears before he stepped in the ring had it all mapped out lady was then I did this strategy is that of Philo and whoever he was up again and he started out at a great brain and what I wanted to say is nobody like Tupac nobody think about it, how we think and and I Mohammed Eileen wrote a book is called the soul of the butterfly. He and his daughter get together. She collaborated with him and he had participants with unkind things wasn't easy for him that she and him and me put it out and I don't know if you seen at but I highly recommend it. I get to it. If all the time and I encouraged them to the other five him that that appear intelligent are the man will Elaine share share the name of that with all of us will I do so, butterfly did a Google and you put Mohammed Ali and you put poetry poetry book in a pop-up okay well this is my last my last comment and try to go quickly. I Britney Greiner if anybody cares about her and you know they should forget about her and no look online for the address there for the empathy writer letter) and her fun-loving little car and I would print it because you know they're going to read it. Make it easy for don't say anything derogatory about anything, but something encouraging for her will think you will thank you Elaine I I'm not sure what I hope. Let me put it this way. I hope she receives about say that okay I see. Well, they may look at it and stuff okay do them any harm to not like that the giver her, let her it might be a while before she get the okay will thank you Elaine for the positivity. Okay, thank you so much okay thank you JR, you made my night with some salon Elaine you have a good evening. Okay okay thank you bye-bye bye-bye thank you Elaine, son of Saul Elaine students uncertain miscellaneous class and document the last time I sent anybody's class not doing that. Will my full ice in the class every night.

What to cut the crap man the class. This is not my home. I teach classier you didn't write you are not officers you do, you jump answers you do teach a class every night. I'm serious, I get your point. Thank you. I did do a whole school of school tour last fall, Eddie let me in Notre Dame I should start naming the school's mayor Notre Dame Drexel Fordham Columbia oh yeah mine for the IJ are Google talk, Google talk, yes, was sound like a phone, what is that, no, no, like talking about like they have some illustrious world-renowned speakers go there. I'm waiting for the I'm waiting for the video going viral you speaking to Google uncertain all I've done. I've done set of done it set so I know you contend I'm waiting for the Google said Google is too many names Mastro the so many damn names.

What the hell is this guy is even a guy named John called from North Carolina parties popular to your CBS sports radio was up John a good evening. Thanks for taking my call.

If you have a good night tonight is one of just one touch on the Lebron is you. First of all, just a couple things. First of all, you want to say I think you give can go after Lebron you want, that's that's his prerogative. I guess being a journalist.

Like it or not, you know I'm not a big Lebron fan myself. I think it completely get to very low ball move us get to go after a 17-year-old kid that not only could cross skipping any sport he wants, but don't go over his head as well. So I lowballed them, but skip of the second thing I want to mention I just wanted your comment on it and then I'll get off here is just note.

I think the bronze a little presumptuous when it comes to know him saying that he wants to play with. I like the idea, I guess, but nobody nobody has kind of futuristic time ball machine here that were to fail young to play. I want to do this or I would I do that just want to get your thoughts on like you know what you think about Lebron fan. He wants to play with get making that public and make a note I'm not here. Thanks for the show. Thank you Johnson calls North Carolina hey if you got the power wielded right.

I think there's better reasons.

The Lebron James is a free agent at the end of the season. If you did not know he's eligible for contract extension. It is not been signed by him. He just sat down and had a meeting. It's been said that that meeting went good. Well, I guess they want to figure out was to take place with Tyree look, why not, who in his position. Think about this.

Why wouldn't he want to play with the sun and if he has the power to do so.

One is the same guy who got his ass warps. Let's go back to what 2010 the decision and people are mad at him for that why you station a press conference when he signed with the Lakers.

There was no pomp and circumstance.

Just put out a statement and so he lets everybody know which is something that that that shouldn't be difficult to comprehend on the things I want to play with my kid and I plan on doing that and shoot why not, he can't if he can do it, then by all means there plenty of people. Why wouldn't you want to spend time which kid I got no problem with it. And so if Lebron James can still play basketball. If he's healthy. That is going to be one of the craziest stories ever me. We've seen Griffey Zen that's that's probably the most prominent. But Lebron James and his son in the NBA wall. So here's the deal. If you have no idea what he was talking about with Skip Bayless. This is basically the update Lebron James.

We know who the hell he is one of the greatest basketball players ever flat. He has two sons, one of the sons is Lebron James Junior, more commonly known as brawny. He is 17 years old is planning California high school.

He's moving into his senior year he is ranked as the seventh best shooting guard in the entire country.

I've actually seen him play also in play. Maybe when he was about 14 x 14 15 at AAU and he's he's grown. He's 6 foot six is that Lebron the 69. He also has a brother, Bryce was 15 years old and I believe Bryce is even taller than the older brother right now and who knows, maybe both of them will end up in the NBA when it comes to the 17-year-old brawny man. Right now there is this this questions about where he's going to go to college or what he's going to do.

Even tonight this evening. Today there was a rumor that brawny James was going to go play for the docks up in Oregon and Lebron James just Pete, put the kibosh on that quick he says he hasn't taken one visit yet.

He's only had a few calls with coaches and universities when brawny makes his choice. You'll hear from him that was from Lebron James and so right now brawny is planning Europe wanted his teams and California's playing in acts European tour and he's actually playing with his brother which is pretty cool for planning Europe and this game was televised on ESPN2 and Lebron James Junior brawny. He went down the court. There were three guys there and then he had one defender in front of any hit him with a flushed land to take a listen to this from ESPN yet, he went coast to coast. The ball was inbound to him the past write to him. He went from underneath one basket and he went straight down the line in one hand, right-handed slam right in. The guys face no. Even Donovan Mitchell and Lebron James. Plenty of other players in the NBA, which is like whoa stuff Kari was light well I okay and 90 he's going to be two more years probably before the NBA senior season, probably a seasoning collagen in the league and he's doing this already and so is he going to be Lebron James at know this only to be one Lebron can he be a serviceable player.

Maybe we have no idea. He could be a role player he could be a bench guy still make in the league would be a hell of an accomplishment. And so after that dark who decided to chime in.

Someone was 70 years old, someone who's made an entire career about just taken a massive dump on Lebron James and now he's involved in this kit that Skip Bayless someone I would say who used to be your reputable journalist, but now was just the is a is a professional media personalities lust about integrity and more about the dollar and so what did he do, he decided to tweet at brawny Lebron James 17-year-old son.

Hey brawny impressive, but your dad would've dunked it left-handed. You sure got away with it. Though we don't know if that's in reference to traveling with the dog or what. And it's just like why why you why even bother because it will elicit a reaction.

That's why it's because he doesn't care it's because he's made all his money and his millions of dollars just by attacking folks as bad as Russell Westbrook is been know this man wants to call Russell Westbrook West brick even when Westbrook did something as simple as, say, hey, continue chillout because it's it's getting to my family and so I what point is do you cross the line just like keep people out of it like stick to the players why, why do you gotta be a disrespectful ass to the people surrounding them and you.

You signed up to be a public figure. It comes with the territory.

But when you have a microphone.

You also have the view ability and the opportunity to not be a jerk save that for the people who don't know any better is two types of folks the people who know better. The people who just don't care and unfortunately Skip Bayless makes enough money and is full of himself enough. They just doesn't care. And so he was on his television show. What is a call out to look it up for us. I know this is called undisputed. It's called undisputed. Thank you ship talk sports. I get confused. I know it's what Shannon Fox sports one FS one and this was Skip Bayless. Defendant is tweet that involved will invoke the name of brawny James. I look back at my tweet I said I didn't intend. This is criticism, I intended it as a commentary on what I saw because I said hey brawny is my tweet impressive, but your dad would've dunked it left-handed. His dad is ambidextrous right and most NBA players riverfront goes coast-to-coast on the right.

So he gets up, the head of steam. Then he crosses over his defender, dancing, backpedaling a little off. Then as he goes up I'm expected to be a left-handed slam and at the last second. Almost like support the second he decides to dunk it with his inside handwriting on it much thought. The defendant was 24 inches tall guy right will you don't get right into the teeth of the defect correct your your your risky he's going to get a handle basketball if not make you eat the basketball yet like tie you up with us you don't handle the ball correct okay so that surprised me but but my last one, you sure got away with it though because he got away with it because it was so fast it was lightning fast dunked it. It took you could see everybody in the arena. They were just not overbuy because you didn't see it coming. It was so last-second that the 63 kid full. He's going as fast as he can run with the basketball right any he one and slams it with his right hand right into the okay so I'm just commenting about this man is not stupid is not. He's looking for attention.

He got it. He's getting it from from here with me, but this is my ultimate point man. It's a lazy it's not just about what he said last night or his explanation or how he's looking for an independent than a larger degree eat.

He's a genius and how he pushes buttons to his own benefit, but it's a lazy it's lazy when you gotta call people names. It's lazy when you have to you know even invoke the name of brawny to make it controversial so you can make money off of it.

It's a lazy I don't know how much longer these will be doing this when we can expect to see him on TV and social media being crotchety when he 75 when he's 80 years old. No, I just leave the kid alone.

He also said that brawny will be a topic of conversation as we move forward and sure he should be when it comes down to him as a prospect that's natural to talk about him. He's Lebron James son 17 years old.

There's an expectation that he moves into the NBA to be discussed like anybody else, but don't throw him into the Lebron mix of all man II got it. Now pick him apart. Leave it would basketball, but the precedent that he set in just insulting Lebron James for years. I just wish it shut up. I think that's pretty normal to us keep his kid out of it evaluate him on his own.

If you have to make the comparison between him and his son. We don't need the ambiguous tweets that row folks up to shut up. It's probably better I think we will have to wait too much longer for that. Anyway, especially as he ages 8552124C VSS 855-2124 CBS what you think about brawny James and and how he should be covered knowing that he's Lebron son. He shouldn't have but kid gloves with coverage but at the same time people should be going at him just out of the box just to get famous off of his name. That's lazy JR sport. We show here with you on CBS sports radio you are listening to the JR sport brief on CBS sports radio you are listening to the JR sport brief on CBS sports radio you before I heard you anything at Harley I'm telling you that right now you have made a difference in my attitude about board and not only can I not go to sleep without hearing you I can get to the gym in the gym without you calling now with 855-2124 CBS thank you. Let's get some your calls.

You talking about Lebron James and in his son brawny James 17 years old and recently he was just I want to say targeted because it's not like something malicious was said but it was a lazy basket Bayless and this is what he's done he's made money off of talking about athletes. Whether you agree with them or not his.

His promise and what he's done in generating attention is genius. He's made himself a multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multi-multimillionaire is one of the most famous individuals on television regardless of genre what's set or station or channel don't matter, but is it right I say I it's a lazy nor even sweet at brawny James knowing that it would generate attention is a lazy, if you want to talk about his merit as a basketball player than do it.

There's no need to put out ambiguous tweets to garner and generate attention. It's a lazy, even by seven-year-old genius to better lazy ass old man come on leave the kid along talk about whether or not he got a jumper. No need to tweet.

No need to put things out to explain lazy is what happens when you make all this money to get lazy. You do the same crap over and over again a 552124 CBS records: from Seattle.

You're the JR sport preshow JR for going on out all the time and got back and I want to know where John Lebron but why you I okay not know. This disease he's a jackass. I miss what else is it supposed to do like you just picking up something so it's a goner and draw attention to yourself my quiz. The merit I wonder if he's actually outside last night.

Has he ever seen it know he's never seen them play in person because he won't he won't go outside not actually enjoy the fact that most of the players don't even pay a million Mondo Pam any attention because I know he's nothing but a baiter he goes out and just distrust to be just harassing people is entertaining.

I guess it is. I'll watch haven't seen the guy outside about social or digital clips and and forever only hear about Skip Bayless when he says something ridiculous because a couple of months ago, you sly little light skin stuff Curry and Mike what are you doing to shut up ridiculous domicile from San Diego your CBS sports radio what's up Doc very well and growing up our year that we got there we got everyone there that you will let alone backyard. That wasn't a very good baseball player. All named there was regular think that what they're dead or Lebron James think that will you know I don't think there's any expectation from anyone that that that he wore or anybody else would live up to their sons. I remember Michael Jordan's kids didn't get past college and it's not like they were even playing a big schools and so that's I think that's besides the point. The larger point is how the hell was he going to be covered. I think for the most part, people of left him alone. You know I'm going to these. I've seen him play in person. He comes in he plays. It's as normal of a situation as you could imagine as normal as you could imagine.

There's not a circus like atmosphere as much attention as is on him and has been on him when he's in the gym and when he's playing it's as normal as it can be outside of the security guard in the corner. His mom is sitting there on the side with his is on. They have a sprinter van out front, but it's as normal as possible when he's out there playing ball. He's just playing ball Solano. They leave it at that.

It's only taken one idiot to come through and just just take it to another level.

But you know what, this is the reality of things. This is the reality of the media business no people ratcheting up all types of ridiculous things just to garner attention and make money because it is the entertainment business, but it doesn't mean everything just has to steer you into the realm of just being a jackass.

Sometimes you can garner attention by actually have a little bit more substance and what you say we have so many people that will pay attention and eat up anything the JR sport preshow. He with you on CBS sports radio to take more.

Your phone calls. On the other side. You are listening to the JR sport brief on CBS sports radio listening to the JR sport. We own CBS sports radio. They are near. Moby preshow monster Coley now with 855-2124 CBS, that's a compliment.

Yes, of beast of these think about it, we get rid of it. If one not like it good beast is one of my favorite accident as school as he was smart and it still will POS you can actually walk upside down on the ceiling like beastie was best part about being a beast. JR what you end up with the beauty so there it yeah I'm still here. You do for you don't like what I'm saying is you wind up with the woman of your dreams or partner of your dreams.

Whenever that you will have to do. I gotta go to buy.

Gotta call Walt Disney and get one lie when I was at work. I'm just saying man is is is not easy these days to find your true one only, and that we know when you are the beast, at least in the movies, or as you said the was in the world if you will a way where we talk about what will banquets talk about two different beasts got counseled about the blue beast that's what people think of anything abuse they think about beast imputing the beast know I think about beast and nothing about the blue guy from X-Men that was what Manas and then you talk about beast. Wasn't he a jerk. He was misunderstood more than he was a jerk because it wasn't he a monster while he was it he just he what he was born to a family that was very title thing, and he followed suit and and then he and somebody taught a mental monster because he was in.

That's right yeah but but but it's a little unfair because he didn't really have the right pathway growing up for people to show him how the way to be. And then when Bella Bella came along on Dell showed him know how to really treat everybody. And so that the beast learn the acclimated and they ended up living happily ever after. Together, I rather be Hank McCoy, was that that the real beast I've never heard McCoy, the blue one. He's beast from X-Men else's. That's his name, but I don't think most people watch that I am busy. I think when most people hear the name beast. They think of Disney in a while. I'm a John or Henriette Hank McCoy, gentleman of a certain age. I hear beast and I'm thinking about think about the blue guy that works as that's a super genius to help me know. I'll think, by the way you play him a good amount on your show because he so entertaining, compelling and captivating.

Who is Marsha Lynch of the beast will be small yet small and he out for a man they said there was no deep did you see the video of him getting arrested. No, not like watching people by God. The car had no it had no wheel. The car had no front wheel looked at the rub. There was no wheel on the car like damn, how did you drop the psyche that sucker was rolling until there was no room almost remade away. I don't I've never understood for life in general. When when you went to the caliber for Marchand Linton and the presents that he commands even off the field. I don't understand why he doesn't have a professional driver still human beings may people get up and do what they wanted to know. I understand that but when you're Marchand Linton your your era write you an all-time great running back. In my opinion, and you're even more, maybe, possibly more famous than you are off the field. I think you need to have people around you that are taking care of you that are putting you in position he is not that I was really unnecessary for the deposition. These services exist. I don't know if it extends almost certain it does to alumni, but there's this actually services available through players through the players Association for when they go out. This exists, and so will will see what happens with them.

I wish you nothing but the best I mean he's he's a human. Humans make mistakes but that's that's a lot. One, let's get some your calls before we are forced rollout. Amy Lawrence is going to come through at the top of the hour. Also need to let you know about the Navy Federal credit union defensive player of the week I'll do that shortly.

Robert Scola from Charlotte your CBS sports radio. There, I'm good. Go ahead Robert I like your money.

You not wanted a supernova graphic of the flameout gradually going up a well-rounded game on the fifth of player you got a big jump shot the game well and you know I don't think I've ever heard Critically important that faith from the he's an ass correct Robert, thank you for calling Charlotte know it's true on how to keep don't the bauble. His dad wouldn't dumped it with his right and shut.

The defensive player of the week is sponsored by the Navy Federal credit Union who proudly serves the Armed Forces DoD veterans and their families, their members are the mission you can learn more@navyfederal.org and the defensive player of the week Tiger Woods is defending the PGA Tour against love golf. Speaking of superheroes. I guess that's what Tiger Woods astronomy right now Jim is here from Cleveland your CBS sports radio.

I forgot to call. If I can feel how much I love you show an outfit with your like every other show. They didn't even like every got in my car and I turned on my computer to give Mike Blackburn every out and as I turn on the computer heard that and so the Proctor band when he said that the beast affiliated I do talk about like mascara. You lost me think it purely joking and but I'm financially lost my train.

No, it's okay Jim you been on the radio before yet if I have other and fun about her but okay so willing to listen to the slowdown you hear beast are you thinking about Disney beauty and the beast do you think about the blue guy from X-Men the way you phrased it to put the prophet who out. I thought of you.

Okay you will be you will then call him they call him know he did. They call him the beast didn't really bring up that much American movie will not.

The movie something I remember beast before the movies and they just beast is the guy I knew you'd be it just never really referred you went from like Hank and the children never referred you know what yeah he's yeasty. I like I don't know about that that that other guy from the Disney thing, but Jim and I appreciate you as a mother goddess good client who was misunderstood and thought I referred to you that your and I is reported misunderstood, but he was a jerk and and yeah prejudice the credit all led him to be a jerk and I haven't I haven't seen a beauty. It was the last time you saw beauty and the beast in the 90s. I watched and probably 97. Oh my God okay Jim, I appreciate you met me at all. Appreciate it helped out scores I haven't seen beauty and the beast and slaver.

I think you can't what you did that come out 92. Guess I would say 30 years ago you 92, 90, 92, 93, is probably the last time I saw it. Byron is calling for Marilyn your CBS sports radio. Byron, like beauty and the beast, Maryland will probably really Dr. Herrick. Mama poured tonight with the tomatoes from Boulder. One of the first already Herrick and he said to Bill Belichick: 40. Older safety middle to hold off or declare the speed didn't hear that Seattle was going to want and they did not get the ball back to peaceable people that Brady was going but you got figure with the drug you know absolutely team.

Team sport and that's why a lot of times and thank you Barbara for calling for Marilyn. A lot of times people focusing strictly on the Super Bowl as in the game and people they deemphasize the games that you actually need to get there. It's just just a lot it really is not alarming. I think Shep I think were done with the Brady and Belichick for tonight right yet. We can definitely continue to see you and tomorrow, no, no, no, no, can have a wraparound know. Let's not talk in the top six let's not do that. I think for top six tomorrow. How about we do this let's give a top six list of the best at coaches in the league right now.

Yes, do you think that that be fair must see yellow guy guess Bill Belichick is, he has to be on the top not handle day and not his. Note that maybe yesterday is one of the best.

Listen, if beast X-Men was an NFL head coaching me one of the best you probably the best this man walked. I think he had a pocket protector and he wrote what a pen and pad and if you cross them. He walked your ass he be an amazing NFL head coach up.
