Will deliver now, Sharon poster, call one 800-6843 11 right Celeste that we at the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the Dobbs case first major challenge to reverse weights to the by Presidential commission on the Supreme Court of United States, as we call the court packing commission issued their final report last night. The report came out holding my hands of this is by the way front and back copy sold nearly 300 pages the cups to no conclusions. I want to take you back. So in April of I this was to Executive Order present by created a Presidential commission on this record, United States directed to address reforms, the courts like term limits expansion. A jurisdictional limits of the court modify the emergency docket mechanism for Congress to expressly override a court rulings well. The report is surprise, surprise, typical of the Bible team even they can appease the left because the group that they chose could come to no conclusions.

II think that my favorite part about this is a pubs or MPR and they said the Presidential commission's report is issued by the report, the panel steers clear of take your position on many of the most controversial suggestions. This is key. This is where ever you think MPR belittled a more educated still. The report states pretty unequivocally. I would think it would be 100% unequivocally.

The Congress does have the power to elect the court requested that should be pretty unequivocally that the debate is whether or not it should never be done and that the Constitution doesn't specify the number so that the numbers determined by congressional act of Congress that they wanted to have 35 members of his report and it passed and signed into law the good habit that's not what they're talking about where they say what it for term limits. Maybe it's not necessary for Custer split up with all of this goes to this modeling that's ready to buy the way you can get like appointment there not 100% on that he didn't worry that a disagreement with this commission, which came to no conclusion. So what is the left do it with a less unhappy about it there putting forward already legislation now to say that they need to expand the court even before the Dobbs case comes up. That's what it's all about it's all about Roe versus Wade. It's all about abortion. That is the single issue driving this entire a discussion on the court issues. So, will you look at again €300 300 pages you put together all these legal experts, and all they've come down to the conclusion as we have no solutions. We have no conclusions. It's just a back-and-forth the pros and cons list of very expensive pros and cons list, but I thought affected journalists were trying to say really done something they didn't do anything but it should be pretty, unequivocally, it should be unequivocally Congress does have a role here could expand the court or change the number just on the court.

The question is whether that's the right thing to do and Congress right now. Would you look at the makeup of the court today doesn't have the votes now. We talked about this book before in our inner beauty. If the Supreme Court were to come back overturn Roe versus Wade or something similar, to allow Mississippi's lot estate which basically got Roe versus Wade warehouse reverse ways, but internally as it is a a bill run on in there. The couple of Senators Manchu considerable who said they don't support this would be a tremendous amount of pressure from the left Illinois all Republicans to who would be under pressure because they were reelected on the idea that there's a couple who get elected because they see the proportion yet. So the question will be able to with the politics of this become the major issue next next year and what document next year without amount no campaign season, folks gets into full gear for the midterms in about three weeks so you are they getting use this together can use this amended and try to use in a minute with a successful not, but this commission order to give it what it but political was political expediency provide. That's what it was, and become. It's a joke. Yes, the fact that they lived only illusionist we all already agreed upon, which is where the Congress power is with official limits have been, whether it's right or wrong you not to forget that the support of escape arguments from both sides and that's it. That's what the American taxpayers pay for right back as the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally pro-life support and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right to life question free copy of mission in life today online ACLJ/day in our history and movements in the later the broadcast as well. But God is of course was 80 years ago today that the Empire of Japan attacked United States or Pearl Harbor. So again we want to remember that the significance that brought the United States into World War II, the court, Franklin Delano Mugabe, an impassioned speech I think would trample some of that now may have it in a moment right before get back to the politics I just want to say Mrs. I'm going to Westergren West met that was inert in our moments of history like the beginning of the Civil War. The fire on Fort Sumter. These kind of things that was one of those events.

Yeah, and to our nations credit. It's still one of those dates that unites us. We think about this date and it doesn't matter what race, religion, political party you're moved by the remembrances of this date and we need more of that in America, but it is a somber and effective date annuities.

I want to play.

This was Franklin Delano Roosevelt 80 years ago. I think probably two days ago.

Yesterday, December 7, 1941, 80 date which will live in infamy. The Empire of Japan attacked the United States or Pearl Harbor actually ended his brother very interesting historical point that was not in the original state.

Now, the original speech did not have the clause which will live in infamy.

The President added that himself extemporaneously when he made the statement and, in fact, the date has lived in and for here we are 80 years later remembering the infamous attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor and the fact that the United States then entered a world war two, and change the course of the war say that a man I'm just finishing up a five volume set Winston Churchill on the second world war and he talks about that. The fact was that the attack by the Japanese Empire of Japan on the United States. West was probably the main was the main reason we got it we were really hesitant to get involved directly were helping the British to get directly involved.

We were very hesitant now present Rosa had a lot of resistance from both political parties about helping the British and he almost had to do it initially clandestinely to help them yeah you're right it change the course of the war, Winston Churchill was elated and grateful and relieved whenever letters that when the attack came and are chemical which leader was one of the Japanese leaders said to to Toto who is ran better here is we have a least a sleep typing giant. Yes, we have unleashed a sleeping giant and we were that jot and we won the war but it was a calculated move to attack the United States 80 years ago today. Did they not think a memo look at it historically and he and the get hurt, that they not think the United States was in respond like this before. It was a foolish remark active of any evidence of man's point of fact, Toto, who was in the United States talking to Cordell all the Secretary of State and the President when the attack occurred. So was brazen and duplicitous today no event may be determined that they needed to attend those and those diplomats know that that was controversial before I think it came out that they and I think they knew that it is now on question if those diplomats were, and while they were talking and you are right. Let why were talking to the President. They were playing the attack on on Pearl Harbor and the United States response was massive and is West mention Winston Churchill braved a great sigh of relief because up to that point Britain had stood alone yes we give them ammunition on the Wii game ships and amazingly not get them right in a land lease but we did not give them a fighting men and women what Japan was counting on was they were going to destroy the entire Pacific fleet. Had they done that we would been crippled for a couple of years. As fate would have it in God's grace part of the fleet had had moved out of Pearl Harbor. They were all there.

Otherwise they would have destroyed the entire Pacific fleet so that one little incident helped save us going forward in the work, the attack on Pearl Harbor also will will just do this for another minute or two. I think this is interesting for audience to know Harry had a dramatic affect on the lot because you had a lot of actions of the presidency at that time Youngstown seal these kind of cases and some of the other semi went with it did not answer, court, or monsoon, which was the internment of Japanese Americans up all those actions took place, a kind of that's why, in the time of crisis you have to have an independent judiciary and that beckoned all of the judiciary got a totally wrong stare decisis.

By the way, for those that are so concerned about stare decisis, but it did it did change the law.

I think it dad and so if you look at the combination of the new deal and World War II and the attack on Pearl Harbor. The importance of the presidency in American history rose very very significantly of the attack on Pearl Harbor also underscored the fact that the American military was unprepared and said no that raises an argument in favor of ensuring eternal vigilance and eternal deterrence with respect to aggression José again. I think one thing we would Asher today and if you like us: 800-684-3110 G think the Democrats will try to get what is the judiciary actively defended on this to expand the court before the 2022 midterms I would say if it was today.

They don't have the votes to court you know again if you think they come out with opinion. I think the pressure fan is obvious what they trying to do that. They didn't get that through the Presidential commission but date they still have the power to act.

They don't have the votes right now but it's a couple of votes away from potentially a court expansion, which Congress has the authority to do with your let me first say this I mean I think that they had the votes in both chambers. I think they would be taking those notes right now. I mean, is literally just a matter of the math, it's a matter of the votes is why they hadn't taken and journeys were to be called up in the House of Representatives right now.

I think they probably do have the votes to pass it but when you look at the United States Senate and how many times have we said this in a 50-50 divided Senate. I think they have a tall hill to climb with a couple of their members, as you mentioned at the outset of the broadcaster, and I don't think they'd given up on getting a couple of Republicans to come their way and I think they probably feel like something proposed Dobbs as their best opportunity.

But today Jordan. My biggest take away on the Judiciary act and its fate. I actually think the sponsors of that legislation. Sen. Markey and then Congressman Hank Johnson.

By the way judiciary committee chairman Jerry Nadler to cosponsor as well. I think all three of those members Jordan, I think they feel like they're in a worse place today.

Because of this report than they were before because before this report. Jordan even have to engage the discussion about whether or not there was a valid play for the Judiciary act. They just had to try to convince members to vote for now they sort of have to engage both conversations because this report now takes so little position just as quickly. Jordan I love this line from the report, it says on all these issues. The commission takes no position. No position on the wisdom of expansion. Well I'm really glad they spent months and months on this to take no position on these as you and I want to laugh at this because it's it's comical to be honest you got a 300 page report roughly Harry writing this close to 300 front and back of those pages and they say the beginning. By the way, we take no position on ending these controversy villagers say there's the pros and cons. Now did you need a commission to do this or was this now they can use it for political ammunition because it basically gave some Democratic talking points on the not particularly clear but this court court will talk about FDR court packing was his idea was very mean it didn't work out so well for Franklin Delano Roosevelt either. Well, Democrats, and this is one of my fondest hopes about Democrats is that they fail to learn from history and said to if you look at Biden's Supreme Court commission basically it reached an expected conclusion, consistent with Pres. Biden's record.

In other words, it was a failure of the Presidential commission on the Supreme Court delivered zero concrete recommendations. This is simply seen. I want ironically as another matchless success, consisting J as you correctly point out a 300 pages it essentially is the sound and fury of significant that signifies nothing yet.

I mean, when they open up their line Jordan, the things they were taken up positions on any of these things, including including injustices including determinate thing which by the way, I think you got them in the Constitution to do that. It says there point for life for good behavior. Right. Yes, on the one hand, I mean that they a knowledge but not even as clearly as I think we would be honest about which is the Congress could expand the court and Congress can and they won't even know that filings it's it's a pretty unequivocal was a pretty unequivocal I think there has to be debate about does Congress have that power with the babies whether not it's right. And again we've we've heard from scholars both both you left right there is not agreement on. I mean Congress was to politicize continue to politicize the court and so by doing partisan ways to say it's good be Democrats. The Democrats have the most of the fact that that's how we talk about it. I is is what makes the court that much more political and Odyssey to the people to go through another for comfort more confirmation hearings that divide up the country because now part is to meet these are nomination to become especially if it's a Republican President gets to make the pick and they basically try to destroy these people's lives by time to get to the court and a little more that as a country and I don't think there's many people signed up to take that on. Take your calls 164 3110 at 2000 684-3110 and two to square work ACLJ.or we have a matching challenge the entire month of December he could double the impact of your donation ACLJ.org only one. Protecting those who face covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100.

This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you beautiful gift today online okay this is from aggressive left of the left of indivisible in their director of democracy policy said this the quote despite the obviousness of both the problem and the solution the Presidential commission on the Supreme Court has refused to make a formal recommendation or court expansion or any other reform the American people deserve better than this long-awaited deeply unhelpful pros and cons list cited this where the left actually sees this is hurting more than just being you don't do nothing.

Is it because they can come to no conclusion. It seems like they should be taking the actually they came to no conclusion that we go back to us in early. But the court document was placed under FDR.

He did that because any that he did like the way this man court was really now with this court packing commission to buy the way that you can see what they do is after the decision in Dobbs they will use the language in the lease.

Some of the pros and cons Knoxville use the Pro go-ahead yeah what what happened was that by Pres. Roosevelt wanted to get through a lot of his new Deal projects in the Supreme Court of the time which was to have been cleaning for the Republican side Finding those unconstitutional and he's relying take care of that.

I'll just go ahead and add some more justices to the Supreme Court and the people who opposed him were largely his fellow Democrats who said no, you're not going to do that and as Justice Ginsburg has said, and I know we constantly refer back to her statement. It's been nine for long time not be left that way. I think that was a bad idea to expand the court. She says when Pres. Franklin Delano Roosevelt tried to pack the court. I think it's bad now and then choose a pretty liberal justice on the court.

I would say and I think she has got the right idea. Leave it alone don't politicize the Supreme Court of the United States you play that I sow this is from the late Justice repair Ginsburg by night.

Anything else think the Constitution this client has had experience falling in many as 10/19 to be a good nanogram and that way for five or 10 I have heard some people in a democratic tank who would like to increase the number of catches.

I think that was a bad idea when Pres. Franklin Delano Roosevelt trying to pack the court they go so I think that's why even on the left and some of the heroes of the left, they they look to it, to those who were there and that they don't agree with this idea that you do this for political purposes, which is what totally they should be totally note so to my Lord made this whole thing argument during the Dobbs case about this was going to politicize the court will not able to politicize the court every President that comes in. Harry decides I want another justice like and tilted to my favorite.

They also ignored. By the way, the fact that these institutions are supposed not be political except the nominated Bise that Presidents confirmed by Senators and they tend to fall along party lines in their decisions of anomalies, but generally assuages. I think that's correct. And so you if you continue to add justices to the United States Supreme Court. Then you've got a logistical nightmare and so if, for instance, Biden ads for the his successor ads for etc. etc. what we really then will need is a much larger Supreme Court or the Supreme Court will have to divide itself up in panels and then the question becomes what would such a decision, retain any legitimacy or buying the rest of the court. So one of the things that the Democrats sometimes are fortunate about is that they do not get what they are asking for. Because I think this is a fairly unintelligent a move by the Democrats. Chris in Nevada online what he Chris Walker, the secular, you're on the air. I really court packing. Now it will constantly put pressure on the current.

In relation to the Dobbs case, I agree to get subconscious direct eye. They had the legislation written to we can the power of this current justices so that the legislation is there, there, holding an oversight you if you make these kind of moves and I will say this I don't think it any justice should be swayed by by that but their people S1 and to the eye. The idea it is very real.

People on the left who said they were opposed to this, would feel massive political pressure from the abortion industry from the group site plan.

Their lobbying groups and Democratic Party itself to two support the idea of adding justices. I think that that that you don't really get into more than that, I think it's right there and unfortunately at that date. They want to pressure that it's coming right at the time when the court, the fact that they even decided to hear the case. You outraged the left and ME that that that was upsetting enough, though, even that was part of the ark of the DOJ's.

We should have this case because we walk through it again in 1992 right.

We already decided we already do in case you are you coming through again and ended in politicize this time to politicize the court by doing these kinds of things is the thing that really puts the stench on the court, the politicization the justice Untermeyer said would be hat would happen if we didn't oppose Roe V Wade, and I think that's if you want everyone to stink the court up 11 more justices and allow every President comes in to put his political ideology on the court. Don't do that. Stay away from you if you went to 13. What prevents Congress from the next time say we want. Nine not nothing that we look great Congress of the target set by the others in another lifetime appoint a national crisis. There's a way to do it here little football and of the Supreme Court by design is not supposed to be political, its members have political opinions because are human beings and as you said, Jake reported by present his part of a political party and their confirmed by Senators but their job is to interpret the law are not supposed to make direct political statements that they're not supposed to get up have political involvement. It is why this is an example of this during the state of unit of the Union addresses the justices are there there in the robes. They do not applaud in response to the President's address to the Congress.

They will applaud. After honoring a veteran in the gallery or something that they don't apply to the address itself because there by design are not supposed to be political, what is not surprising that it's always shocking to me is the left is intent on making the court blatantly political in the name of trying to denounce the politicization of the court gets you in this human and family growth & legislation what what is the exact status of that legislation right now. It's introduced in both the House and the Senate J and luck. I would type directly into the pressure that Jordan talked about the pressure to pass it happened actually during the Dobbs argument and this is just a symptom I are talking about the stench that would be on the court. Should this really go the wrong way. JJ, I saw that is her laying the groundwork for moving that legislation. If this case because the way she doesn't want to write folks. I get. We're going to get signify the broadcast. As you know, present Biden and Pres. Putin. They've got a phone call this morning and it's that link the call we don't know if it's it's in the yet, I would think it's still going all we've gotten so far is the. The initial readings which I would be quite honest with you, even there we look pretty weak. If you got hit the button's violence hands up or all of a player you and the Russian fleet released a video immediately so as Russian as the Kremlin releases the video of what looks like a kind of out of touch older President United States not able to even give say hello and be able to get started off as a reason why the crib and release that even though there's no readouts of actual said, but I can have that for your record as to be going down.

Right now as we speak the word present. Biden is on the phone with Pres. Putin tried to avert a what could be a full-scale conflict in Europe and yet another Russian attempt to annex more of Ukraine which we saw under the Obama administration with Crimea and parts of eastern Ukraine. Russian troops are massing on the board.

We talked about that and and now is the President of the United States tried to make the final diplomatic pitch to the President of Russia not to do this but I think the tone is already off what I could treat to show the image. This is what it looks like the beginning. Now, interesting enough with this release. If you look closely, he got :-) by the heads up.

Try to figure it out, hit the button Kremlin releases this video is that look like you guys about to threat your entire economy whether not equivalent release that on purpose just try to show already American weakness in trouble with with the bond that staffing issues not all bites OF that's his problem with his staff are the associated press just put this out Russian state news agency said by the Putin have wrapped up the video calls for two hours. That's all sense of the calls adjusted to our phone call.

Jen Saki was asked about your what could happen on this call already.

I think they take the wrong told by 25 I will will again I think that it's not about the racks it's about conveying that the right path for it. Here is through diplomacy.

In the meantime I'm financial sanctions with consulting significantly with her allies and believe me the path forward that would impose significant and severe harm on the Russian economy. You can call that a threat you can call that a fact you can call that preparation. Whatever you want to call it when I hear there is talk to recruit his we don't have full-bodied from the European allies of this new think they think we think specifically coated with that we believe they have a path for you, but it's not a united front, where he could go this phone caucus would put this work is doing now with the allies in Europe it right and say were alternate single you out here they see make it possible for your financial system operate the US, standing alone, or that it could still impact significantly. Russia's ability to operate, but but without Germany without the body and and I think that's what you really hear that statement is we think we have a path forward to impose significant harm of their economy that hundred percent and I think that I think that's exactly the point I was going was a gun article coming up on ACLJ.org on this mint had at EV which warns us that as far as the willingness of your peer yeah I think there's a lot of hesitation and desolation. The part of Europe. Germany is all for this nurturing to pipe language President trouble trying to block in and present, Biden has approved it. They want to do trade with Russia and for a while we were selling them liquefied natural gas United States. We don't have it fill to them anymore because the present by the policy. So yeah, whether or not you're welcome on board meet with economic sanctions that will make a difference is still in question. You just there. I would just say I was in Europe for three weeks and I can tell you that if we think of in the lead the charge with our European allies hundred percent behind us in terms of economic threats. That's a pipe dream. It's not going to happen because the Europeans are interested in dealing with the Russians in trading with the Russians and having commerce with the Russians and and and interfacing with them significantly willing to be leading the charge with no sodas behind Mr. Rickard out our supervisor for Nashville foreign policy can be joining us in XM in the broadcasts with reaction initial reaction to this that take taking apart these statements are referred from the White House. It seems like what happened is that present buys going from this call call with those leaders in the UK, France, Germany at two tried sell the on I the economic response the diplomatic approach to trying to prevent its and halt what I Russian invasion of Ukraine. Ukrainian comments are interesting to what they said is because the trump administration have beefed up their military. They believe if they got fully invaded by Russia. They could slow or slow down the retreat that the best case there slower retreat or manage treat as Russia continues, and I would be getting paid fully with a full-scale invasion.

Think about 20, 21, still trying to read your right that second the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

The last of the pretty confident on, but not 100%. They got buy-in from our European allies, but I Rickard now our Senior advisor for national security and foreign policy joining us at today and and and Rick just right off the bat.

We've got readouts yet from this phone call obviously but we don't that the that present. By discounting this call to the next call with European allies trying to sell them on joining this economic sanctions package which I think you'll fit with the full-scale. The way the people try to basically limit Russia's ability to act internationally. That's one thing if we don't go that far. We seen section of the past that were not prevent this kind of Russian aggression. Let's hope the United States strategy is not simply to try to get the Europeans to be tough because that that's our strategy, I can tell you were already failing and were going to fail. We've already given the United States is Artie given that the Russians an amazing pipeline of leverage into Europe so they pocketed that pipeline and are now looking to do more within Europe and that's why they've got more than 100,000 troops on the Ukrainian border. Remember, they've already grabbed Crimea and there was really not a reaction that made any difference from the Europeans or from the Obama Biden administration so you you really have the Russians knowing exactly who Joe Biden is in there reacting accordingly things Rick that I might find interesting about this is the presence trying to look like Eric. Biggs walk softly and carry a big stick. Meanwhile, there is you just mentioned the Russian military is on the border of Ukraine personal on that one. Did you see a scenario of events where brushwood would basically invade Ukraine. I do and it ineluctably, we have given away our leverage over the last 11 months with with Biden. It's a very difficult situation in the United States needs to 11 months ago. Partner with the Europeans under Joe Biden and send a very clear message.

Since we didn't do that now were finding ourselves in a situation where we we have to decide between multiple really bad choices. And so I'm very concerned that Chancellor Merkel now is off the stage.

She's no longer the Chancellor. The Green party is now in charge in Germany about the defense and foreign policy. The ministry needs the Foreign Ministry and so when you have the Green party in control of the military and the diplomacy of Germany. I think you also send to put in a very strong message that your week so combine that with but with the Biden administration. I think Putin is reading the tea leaves insane. Who's gonna stop me Rick this is that the ideas that already. We saw this instrument by the crib until to release this video where the present was having issues with with even the promise and they look like there very smiley and and it just doesn't seem like that's a start with if the talk is that tough and he was put in the had to actually was trying to get by the tension of tell that where to start their issues there and in the criminal course release it but that's not out in to share what you it started snowing that the decision to take that kind of video that's all we have for this so far and no that's coming from a foreign power like the Kremlin to do that it's it's those are intentionally released they they think that that again it underscores this idea of weakness. Russians are great at manipulation. This is what they do, they they push misinformation and so I'm sure that that was a moment where Pres. Biden was greeting present important but it makes it really look like Biden is the one coming to bag it looks like Putin is in control. It looks like Biden is weekend funny and irrelevant and it is a terrible signal all of Europe is looking at this picture all Americans looking at this picture the world is looking at this picture and it only emphasizes what we were already thinking that Joe Biden is weak when he goes head-to-head with that's what I was stricken with what is. This was to make my we live on the that's what it is is the bag it looks like the way they shot it because you shut it from his view right which you can do for the other people today they released, but there's quickly got ahead of it.

He's in his office he's visually clear and have a present with open arms look like we were using technology from 100 years ago, but I was telling what we would like the supplicants in this case we really do know any gesture of goodwill that we give to the Russians.

Rick seems like they see that as a sign of weakness. I remember when Pres. Obama was in office and we agreed to remove our defensive missile batteries from the countries in Eastern Europe of Putin's response to that was to continue the aggression and Crimea and to invade Eastern Ukraine and so now if you were in charge. What what repercussions would you put in place if you were the President and of their talk about financial sanctions not just on his oligarch friends but on himself removing Russia from the G 20. I don't know what effect that would have, but if you could lay out three or four things. What would you do to make it clear to Vladimir Putin. You will be punished.

And this is how well first of all, I gotta start with saying that I'm really angry that were in this position. Where were finding ourselves having to respond and are only choices are bad and very bad. You know the answer to your question why what is really 11 months ago I would've made different decisions, and that put us into this situation. First of all, I wouldn't have allowed the North stream to sanctions to lapse. By the way, if Biden had been stronger. I North stream to then there are senators who wouldn't be holding up all of his ambassadorial nominations and one of the reasons why Ted Cruz is is really doing a good job of holding the State Department's feet to the fire is because we have a whole bunch of ambassadors appointed by Biden out in Europe singing the messages that Joe Biden wants our ambassadors to be singing then that's even more so sending a weak message because we will be organizing European countries to back off from standing up to Russia now are finding today that it the the Biden administration is trying to get the Europeans to be stronger in Russia looked a little too late.

They've already sent the signal and Chancellor Merkel is gone and we don't really have a leader in Europe right now. I think there tonight and it was interesting with the timing of the way in which were engaging is seems to be in the drummer might. I am passionate by creek ribbon on the drum. He got a Big gotta keep in the pocket you got a rhythm and Gillick were out of rhythm. Support were were two beats behind if you will and 50 beats behind the song and something harmful in any stressor, European Center for Law and Justice offices in Frostburg and see said the consensus in Europe was were not leading to our investors are now my view of what I saw in Europe in three weeks that I was there, is that if we leave it if the Biden administration leads a charge economically or otherwise against this will set Soviet Union against Russia. You're not gonna find a lot of European allies right behind you supporting you and taking up your line because the Europeans are soft on this and are interested in trade and commerce with the year with the Russians and are not going to go behind a weakling President.

But what I want to ask you is if you are Vladimir Putin, sitting in that chair today.

Looking across the Atlantic Ocean that at Joe Biden in his performance. And you know the mind of put in the mindset of the Russians. What would you, as Vladimir Putin be thinking of this person that was sitting across the screen to you at such a good question. I will give you a little tip that I'm writing a piece right now. I'm almost finished that will go up on ACLJ.org that really answers that question. What is Putin thinking and what is what is happening and I think what Putin is his thinking as he's watched over the last 11 months, you have Joe Biden say that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation knows that that's not true.

And yet all of the US media same from that same's book that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation Joe Biden pushes that and so he sitting across the table from somebody who is been pushing the Russian hopes for four years, saying that Donald Trump was a Russian asset knows that that's not true there's a whole bunch of things that are happening in the lead up where I think Putin is determined that Joe Biden is too weak to respond to him and he's going to make some symbols remember. Lastly, to make a big move on Crimea when Joe Biden was vice President, not a lot happened.

So this is you know just like this is the second part of the act directly know you got that working on that piece to be doing this to Marx we will get more read out more from our European allies about what this push was after the after the call with Putin and so I can Rick join us tomorrow as we get more information about this to our phone call between present Biden present Putin and in the call with our Western European allies. As always we appreciate Rick and a check on ACLJ.org missionary Ricky Mike Pompeo writing on these issues. All these international issues that do affect us here.

You also say thank you to ACLJ members around the country that support a worker able to have people like Rick for knowing this kind of analysis in the reporting fan in Washington. This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge today make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you beautiful gift today online okay right now is try to sell whatever threat he made, or they don't like cold threats but diplomatic options on the table. Whatever it was made using a full Biden. I think just the White House allowing the Russians to know that before this call, even that was the case, but but that card being on the table puts put in a more powerful position is used her from Rick, just that imagery the tried release is effective, were going to beg them not to invade Ukraine as if we really if we really had the wherewithal we could stop that we know everyone, every player knows at this table that the US has no up the military weaponry on that say we want to go that route, but they all know and get it just they feel like were too weak to even utilize it. If we felt strongly and we can convince smaller European countries who usually are very reliant on the US for their own protection, but also there at their economies to go along with us sexually Russia because we've allowed this pipeline to be developed. I think that's the apathy that you had a feel from Europe is the they don't have a strong position on this because economically there benefiting from Russian gas and hasn't started flowing yet but they will know this. A ministration has lifted a lot of those sections but that Rick brought up I want to get a little bit more because Rich brought up a couple times your sugar cruised the holdup of the administration.

The Biden team is had a very difficult job getting there diplomatic positions filled because of the word stream to question about a Jordan I mean there's been stiff opposition in the United States, and it really all across Washington DC and hasn't been just strictly partisan. Another factor in this Jordan I really I was thinking back to the conversation at the panel. There had about the attack on Pearl Harbor and how there were Japanese diplomats, even in country leading up to that adjourn. I actually think they're somewhat of an analogous situation here is this conversation takes place while the Russian troops are staged on the border and so you can kinda take the optics that you been talking about and then combine them with some of the sound that you been playing from Jen sake, especially that one, were she talked about. This is not a tiger. This is not about threats… Maybe this is a time for threat to me.

Maybe maybe the Russians have been provocative. Maybe it's a very clear what they plan to do, or at least they are threatening to plan to do. Maybe it is time for the superpower of the world the United States to to threaten them diplomatically. Maybe they will say this is the force that we would will put in place should you take this action.

I think that kind of strength is what would get you coalescing across Europe, and Jordan. I think it would is probably what would get you greater buy-in even inside your own party and washing Indian.

Some of these nominations is FDR instead reference to back. I get talking about Japanese tried to deceive us by 28 time government United but statement will continue the attack today on the Hawaiian island of American naval report.

I regret very many American live. We do want take a moment again remember the men and women that served during World War II is not many of them left now when a historic moment by was thinking about this Harry and I tied into the foreign policy issue guard record policy we could be immune. Will Haynes one assessment talk Rick about this tomorrow. We are we about to witness an invasion of Ukraine.

I asked that in and Rick said yeah this is probable. I think Rick is right.

I think after the American government and Pres. Joe Biden caved in Afghanistan, a signal was received and that signal was loud and clear that the United States will no longer protect its own interest. It will no longer protect American soldiers in harm's way. It will continue to basically engage in a conspiracy that harms individuals who have been allies with us for instance in Afghanistan for decades and so I think what we need now in Washington is we need a President who believes in preemptive sanctions and, if necessary, preemptive actions, we don't have such a President and Senate given that I think an invasion in Ukraine and possibly an attack on Taiwan are potentially in the offing.

Those are game changing world events if that would happen, game changing, we have to have a lot of backroad to either response that the military had the right lights are to be lost. I wonder if I got massive invasion in two different up regions of the world with two different major powers that you're still dealing with some of this goes the fact that we get too greedy to think we did with the Chinese and allow you rely on slave labor and a country committing genocide to host Olympics then invade Taiwan and tells everyone to take the top spot in the world.

And yet this family. Specifically, the presence family has so many financial ties to like that.

They got a problem today because there try to explain away which Chinese government official to Hunter Biden sell his stake in the Chinese firm director that became present they got problems and I think it's it's not just American greed. It's world greed. Cheap labor. Allow the soup in these powers than to utilize that and create an act like there's been that the different but not that same actress same problem same people but were empowering them invites aggression always weakness invites aggression and no prudent he's winning. Already because he's sowing friction and disunity in with our European partners and NATO if you can prevent NATO from acting cohesively against him is one of the got a call around Carter California online won a raffle for the secular on the air.

My call Mike Street didn't the US and Russia agreed that if Crimea would disarm their nuclear abilities that they would always remain sovereign and independent.

I think there was agreement. 1994 Celeste flashback today that Russia was a mess.

They were to if the government was the Soviet Union was still disintegrating.

There was to try to figure out how were who they were or where they were. So I think they would say we make those agreements that that was by the previous administration. I think that anybody shown that Crimea has Artie been annexed and there's that that's that that's that's good that something happened to the Obama years and there's no there's no penalty for them to any to ignore this abound by the baby, ignore, and I have a penalty goodness saying luck. I've got a free pass. I'm not worried. I had a weakling I got a backbone list feckless person on the other side. What's he going to do the media find by the Ukraine.

Ukraine is mine anyway. Historically, it's been mine and the impracticality it's going to be mine and the Americans and the Europeans are going to take no real action against me. I believe in sitting in his seat as I asked Rick Grenell to put himself in that. That's the attitude that Vladimir Putin is taking is a strong man against a weak man, and the stronger is that a win every single time we are going to continue Foss very closely. So again just to remind you the present with that call to phone call with the European leaders tried to sell them on whatever sanctions package.

He threatened lender put on notice that's happening after the fact is even come into the meeting with 100% agreement. At least that's that with the White House indicate why would you want to play that is your hand unless you felt like you had to, or they already knew. So let me just occurred to stick with the broadcast bar as well as always good ACLJ.org work is the most critical month of the year for Stacy okay financially I got it online for able do it.
