Melting down yesterday's Supreme Court argument involving Mississippi's law keeping you informed and now this is what was striking about the arguments for her today is that for the most part, contrary to all that gaslight nonsense that disingenuous misdirection that was used to the antiabortion side was no really hiding their terrain. Maybe ethic of the state of Mississippi is so brazen what it's asking you want to hear from you, Sharon posted, call 1-800-684-3110. This is not abstraction, we're looking at a situation which next summer when the court's decision is expected overnight tens of millions Americans could be under forced now. Your host Jordan secular right first pregnancy. She that was Chris Hayes that from MSNBC.

It does kind of encapsulate where the left is now that they've had some time that was yesterday evening at some time to take in the oral argument yesterday it what is the most important case involving life that made its way to the US Supreme Court since 1992, and I think that now that everybody's had some time to digest the oral argument yesterday and where the where the justices us, specifically your put the three liberal justices to the side for for about look at the six justices nominated by Republican Presidents and who are more open to life and the idea of a pro-life argument in court and also this idea that Roe versus Wade was wrong based off the principles of federalism the idea that this should be up to the states so you look at. From Chief Justice Roberts, who was again I think fair to say looking at not looking at ways to uphold the law without potentially directly overturning Roe versus Wade that you had a Justice Cavanaugh I go through a list of cases where the spring court has overturned its press that you heard starting to cite this over and over and over again, President of the court and that but he went through the list to get all the cases where the spring court has decided to change its mind and I get things change over time, we heard that in the arguments yesterday that your this is not 1973 where we are with technology, where we are medically where we are with also a women's ability to to take control of their own life.

It's a different situation on the right to see see how we can cc now that we've had the day to take the said what we were hearing from the left is the outrage, but I think what that really underscores is that they're very worried about the decision, absolutely.

I think I seen the writing on the wall they heard the oral arguments on and finally the decision that was made in Roe V Wade and in 1973 and that many legal scholars, even very liberal legal scholars have come against and it is a terrible opinion I think I see that opinion is possibly on its way out and going to be corrected and so they're going to scream as as loudly as they can go to Andy, maybe I Giorgio said today of the broadcasts your takedown now that we've had that this kind of 24 hour period of my take on this is that what you said at the beginning of the show is rightly left is going into a meltdown. Okay, I'll concede to them, the three liberal justices Kagan, Breyer, and so to my yard. She they've got them. I think buyer came out of the chute staying right away. We were there to start decisive. Why should we change this so he's not going to change his mind. But the questioning that was posed by the other justices indicated a shift in my direction that is pro-life. My eyelids listen to it very carefully actually listen to it twice Jordan because I wanted to be sure that I was hearing what I heard right. And I'm very impressed with the way the court is, I think going to proceed.

You can predict what it looks like that we are going to get a favorable result somehow particular cause of this to questions about Jesse's oral argument. What you're hearing the media give us a call one 800 684 31 to the courts of this case. Those of you fighting and standing with us in the pro-life movement is its it cannot be underscored enough support our work in ACLJ.org. Give us a call 1-800-684-3110). The American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom detecting those for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life reports and in commerce. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that.

We are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ.

The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge. Make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you. You forgive today online okay only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn, called mission like it will show you how you personally pro-life publication includes a look at all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the street and what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership is empowering the right question for copy mission life today online/secular. We are to your photos as well. What hundred 684 30 want to risk the first was very got five is through the first half-hour, but this first half of the show I get back into the Dobbs case yesterday, the Supreme Court of course really tracking this very, very carefully throughout the entire process until the court likely the decision will be sometime in June so I believe that a considerable amount of time you want to talk about it.

While the oral argument is fresh and fresh on everyone's mind. I want to play this this, the former President of Planned Parenthood. Cecile Richards you to start here. These ridiculous hours that we start to try to play doctor or tried and tried to it making the scientific broad statements think if you just again. A lot of this is hyperbole, but you do need to listen, take thankless abiding tape right that women have had to make the most personal decisions about their pregnancy nearly 50 years in America. She is the question which really distill the hall here and make what has changed in 50 years.

Medicine hasn't changed dramatically. Science hasn't changed about liability.

Women need to be able to control their bodies to make a decision about their pregnancy hasn't changed. The only thing that is changed is politics cc I go from my children and melds is five and the youngest is is not even what you and between that time. Things changed. Technology changed medical knowledge changed and that was that the five year period at 50 years, technology and science have come a very long way. There is in utero surgeries. There are again what they can do and how they can preserve and protect life and save life so early on in pregnancies is unbelievable, and those were advancements made in the last 50 years is completely wrong in that statement.

Again, they're just scrambling for anything that they can put their hand sign on things absolutely have changed since 1973, just everything you said medically and in every way that had changed. Most important part is nothing has changed in 1973 is a bad opinion day and so really change this opinion to be struck down, which it should have been.

It's just taken 50 years to do that other cases, bad decisions, wrong decisions made at 1558 years later overturned and the right decision is made, so she's probably on both ends. Lots of things have changed dramatically since 1973, but the main point is nothing had changed. It's a bad decision needs to be corrected by the second from Justice Cavanaugh, but simply you picked up on true was this idea that the court has gotten it wrong ACC was just document they've they've got it wrong before, very wrong and the corrected themselves. That's true Jordan, the court has made errors their human they've made matters in their legal decision since Plessy versus Ferguson even before that encases some people would say that the early cases were wrong.

That was our judicial foundations were built upon. But nonetheless, the corners had the sense to look at the changes that have occurred and to modify those opinions are either reversing those opinions, setting them aside started the sizes which we kept hearing about yesterday. This idea that one's cases are decided they need to stay decided that way. That's a judicially created concept courts have made that that was not in the Larner statute book anywhere courts have made that up. And that is not a hard and fast rule when something got Justice Breyer, notwithstanding, by the way, but when something is wrong and Justice Cavanaugh impressive to me rattled off a list of those cases in which the Supreme Court has gone back and said this was wrong. This was wrong. This was wrong, we reverse what we changed. We supplanted and we put another long in there that is exactly what needs to happen to row. Why is that so surprising to the left gun that all the time.

Jordan, I want to play for people so they could hear what time if it's a couple minutes so stick with this. This is Justice Cavanaugh your face oral argument.

History helps think about starting sizes. As I looked at it and on the history of how the court supplied Sardis Isis when you really dig into it. History tells a somewhat different story. I think that is sometimes assumed.

Think about some of the most important cases the most consequential cases in this court's history. There is a string of them where the case is overruled pressing around the board want separate but equal Baker versus Carr which set the stage for one person, one vote West Coast Hotel which recognize the state's authority to regulate business Miranda versus Arizona which required police warnings when the right to about the right to remain silent and have an attorney present to suspects in criminal custody warrantee Texas said that the state may not prohibit same-sex conduct Mapp versus Ohio held that the exclusionary rule applies to state criminal prosecutions to exclude evidence obtained in violation of the fourth amendment Gideon versus Raymond Wainwright which guaranteed the right to counsel in criminal cases. Obama fell, which recognize the constitutional right to same-sex marriage.

In each of those cases that's list and I could go on and those are some of the most consequential important in the court's history.

The court overruled precedent and it turns out, if the court in those cases had listened, and they were presented with arguments in those cases, adhere to precedent in Brown reported here Plessy on West Coast Hotel in here that consented here to Lochner. The court had done that in those cases, this could contribute much different place much different place and the for it when it comes to civil rights much different place when it comes to your protections. If you are facing any kind of criminal charges. That's exactly right for a prosecutor for over 40 years.

I can tell you that Miranda versus Arizona the Escobedo versus Illinois case Mapp versus Ohio all those that talk about the criminal cases. I'm intimately familiar with the Justice Cavanaugh said they all changed what had been decided by the Supreme Court before. In those cases, Jordan, the Supreme Court said we made errors in those cases we will wrong in those cases we need to change that we need to correct that we need to stay with the lawyer in the current situation. There is no constitutional right to an abortion. What they lend they rely on is this a liberty interest. When asked the question the person representing God's medical abortion clinic said well when Justice Thomas, I think Astro what do you been grounders on what constitutional principle do you say stands for abortion. All she could say was a liberty interest liberty from what liberty from life.

What about the fetus. What about the child know liberty for that child only liberty for the carrier of that child, so Justice Cavanaugh, and I was so impressed with the litany of cases that he rattled off he was right in everything that he said absolutely correct, Jordan. I would play this to cc because this again came up with this distraction. Issues like you said all ultimately if what what Mississippi is really arguing about what we all of us have agreed that this decision in 1973 that reaffirm in 1992 was wrong it was wrong. Judicial decision was bad application of the law bad application of the Constitution at end and we call it abortion distortion that nothing else gets treated like this and at ever before. States have such little role in the people of such little role would be able to put in place commonsense regulations even.

But then he goes to this everything that the this idea that you just a bunch of at least I've seen this throughout the toxic world of social media that that you know it you're about to theocrat's try to push this meticulous because Justice out tomorrow. Gave weight to those who were trying to make this this divisive issue or a cup is that if you not like an evangelical. Somehow, you can't be pro-life anything but a religious when life began has been hotly debated by philosophers since the beginning of time still debated. So when you say this is the only right that takes away the state. The ability to protect the life of religious surveys because I think it's not so much these three justices of the left over there going on this case.

You can predict easily, but cc again with the idea that you gotta be some religious theocrat to somehow take this view that a life after 50 weeks of Mississippi's case should be protected exactly right down to have an argument so they want to try and belittle, protecting the life is worth telling medical doctors that say when life began medically raving with religion is a scientific fact that she's trying to distort it to make the abortion distortion abortion is such a right. We can't get rid of rights urgencies move into in circuit courts already on life cases this this case much huge impact on video. Facebook is working on right now. We'll talk about that we come back, rushing to target second half hour. This is bringing back your Betamax policy will really believe only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn will show you how you personally. Publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood Obama care me in many ways your membership is powering the right question. Your free copy of mission today online/American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those covering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life reports and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way time you can participate in the ACLJ challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous heart wrenching challenge make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms gift today online okay secular. We are to your phone calls to 164, 31, tended it is if you heard it by the ministrations. Yes, they are going to reinstate that controversial remained in Mexico possible. That more. The second half hour of the broadcast lobby I get focusing on life was a bit Washington DC fan the tone from politicians fairly predictable. I would say on the conservative side, obviously feeling good after yesterday's oral arguments in cautiously optimistic and on the left trying to forbid a lot of outrage, but what I will. This is my artist taken, such as a partisan take as I was scared of looking to see the outrage actually matched the American people and I think what is what is happened on this issue in life is that while the Democrat party is is tied to where it was exclusively do exclude people who are who are pro-life or even joining the party figure out the other issues about what it comes down to it, ultimately it doesn't seem like that the American people shared her outrage at all during I really think the American people of all stripes on this are well ahead of the political class in Washington DC at learning the lessons that we've learned in the 50 years since row in the 30 years since Casey, I think they've seen the developments that may be just a soda Mayor and Cecile Richards not bite you played haven't learned in Jordan and as I continue to reflect on the arguments I'm really left with the take away that the left is just out of merited arguments on this and so they're resorting to, you know tax and their resort are resorting to ideological positions like I keep coming back Jordan to that exchange that Justice Altemeyer had were she said look, the lower courts have never been able to find a legal expert that that thinks that that viability happens before 23 or 24 weeks like we thought back in the 70s when row is considered adjourned the American people know there are literally scores of human beings walking the planet. Talking, walking, breathing, who were born before that point.

And I think you're in it. If you'll indulge me, one of the reasons I keep coming back to that exchange. It was less than a year ago that our family provided care for one of these baby she's now over a year old.

She's in an adoptive family. She was born before that point of viability suffer justice or to my artist set up on the bench and to lecture the attorneys that no one could possibly dream. The viability begins before this point, Jordan, she's not just wrong in her opinion she is wrong on the facts and I think the American people are well ahead of her.

I think there well ahead of the political class, and quite frankly, the political class in Washington DC that would like to see row upheld Jordan. I think that's why they're nervous and I think that's why they knowingly and they're gonna lose on this. It's a huge business that political class. A lot of donations party is is a billion-dollar year.

Interest groups and businesses with Planned Parenthood in the Center for reproductive rights, and the list goes on and on that, but cc this idea to if it came up in. In the oral arguments, but the idea able and what that is talking at that this idea of people making this argument about viability and where do you draw that line don't even believe that line should be drawn absolutely right.

First of all the people that are arguing that viability is the line are the same people that argue kill a baby to full term sometimes and after that point sell this point in saying yes liability is actually standard and believe that achieving weight viability. Justice Blackmun, who actually wrote the opinion of the way line is completely arbitrary and interesting life before viability and after viability mother's interest don't change before.

After viability, so it's just an arbitrary point out and completely unconstitutional, and it means to be changed this to to be just to underscore the importance of Eddie and I will say that on the left of the working 50 years for this.

That's the truth in organizations like the ACLJ found in the late 1980s and and in the early 90s that most of those decades to have been fighting fighting to educate the legal community educate potential future judges and justices on the court and educating like we do on this broadcast the American people that it's it's not like anybody hiding their their position on this and yet the left try to take all this is the theocrat's Smitty 50 years who is looking at America in 2021 say this looks like a theocracy in our country happy that it's absurd what is absurd but that's the only argument they have to fall back on and say you're being ruled by religion.

This is a theocracy in the medieval in the early medieval style and, therefore, really, there is this is a fake fake persona that you're portraying but let me just send you know you're not just come back from Strasbourg, where Mayor European Center for Law and Justice operates out of in France and we have had tremendous success in the countries in Europe on this abortion issue. Particularly, may I say with Poland, which has held that policy that is illegal abortion is illegal contrary to the Polish Constitution. Regardless of what the European Court of human rights is set in the EC. The ACLJ's European branch, the EC LJ had a great role in making that decision and embarrassing the European Court because the country of Poland said I don't care what to say. European Court of human rights. It's against the Polish Constitution and that's how it's going to remain so these are constitutional and legal questions. So to my adjuster soda Mayor not religious questions. I'm sorry to go watch the phone Stephen Colorado online to hasty welcome to secular euros a year hi, thanks for taking my call is I have a couple comments to make one and that viability is really an artificial construct and dependent on certain necessary conditions which are soon to be President, and it does not present no one is Bible, not an adult, not a baby after birth when in and not a baby creeper on and I think the best evidence of that is when a woman goes to the doctor and she thinks that she's pregnant the first thing they do is ask her what her last menstrual cycle is and was and they look on their little wheel and assuming automatically assuming that that's a viable child. They tell her what her due date is been a colored take prenatal vitamins in order to make sure that the proper and necessary conditions are going to be present for this already viable baby to develop fully the whole concept of viability is troubling to me.

The second thing I wanted to point out is that back in the 1950s a couple researchers named Bernstein and Borkowski recorded EEG and Edwards brain waves from fetuses as early as six weeks and three days there there recordings of very obvious brain waves. So even if you are trying to apply some standard of viability. Six weeks would be, you know, perhaps even not too late to catch every bit of brain activity and course by then there's a heartbeat as well.

Second, Dr. Turow yesterday called it because he had so much trouble with that part of the argument, I will say to him at six weeks Tennessee's law on six weeks is just been written a blog up@aclj.org, but it's going be heard en banc six or feels a lot of these cases will be dependent on what this report alt delete.

Besides, we we continue the fight were involved in that case as well without informed consent case at a South Dakota state governor there in that law, all looking towards this case, the Dobbs case with the second half hour coming up, but ACLJ.org support our work at the American central injustice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad time you can participate in the EC LJ challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes €20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family. Give a gift today online ACLJ keeping you informed and now secular secular first rocket stayed on Dobbs case history of the US supreme, but it is the first challenge direct chose Roe versus Wade. It's also it's a 50 week abortion that the restriction there would prevent abortion after 50 weeks in a Mississippi, 50 weeks in the pregnancy. That case has now been heard before the Supreme Court fully briefed off already and we we file 31 Amanda three briefs at the US Supreme Court for the ACLJ affiliated entities and I we we kind of got back into the after your day to day later kind of power people interpreting the oral arguments of the step, first half hour the broadcast. Check it out later. We got posterior social media for the sun radio or Sirius XM is always post our Facebook pages I Jay Sekulow page ACLJ page shows good ACLJ.org but there is a second and it's surprising and it get I would've spent some time on this broadcast today. We talked a lot about the crisis at our southern border and it kind of ebbs and flows right. The media will focus it on it and it would there's these big surges of the kind of media moves away from it. But now I we know Wall Street Journal breaking this news at the Biden administration has reached an agreement with Mexico to restart what was called a controversial trump era immigration policy notice remain in Mexico. They are so there there also noticed about the but they really got the micro protection protocols. These again. This significantly changed our southern border and the Biden administration ended that policy called bad policy will now guess was restarts on Monday, migrants are going to be sent back to Mexico. Yes, the Biden administration has readopted one of the trumpet.

This race is most important policies when it came to dealing with the crisis. Our southern border head on and insult to me this is a huge moment because it is the Biden ministration admitted they got it wrong and Wesley right away. There's no way around it. The end of the policy and now who don't we don't know how long the bid back in negotiations to renegotiate the policy, but they obviously think they're following the trump a playbook exactly to reinstate remain in Mexico right there's a lot of disingenuous about this whole issue with the Biden ministration part of the background on the reason there there restarting it. Is that a court ruled that of Missouri and Texas is about menstruation over over canceling this program. He actually cancel the remain in Mexico about his first day in office during Texas food and the judge has said okay they did not go through the proper administrative hearings. Biden ministration did not, so he's ordered them to reinstitute, so they're doing it on the outside, reluctantly trying to play to their left wing base, but in reality I think they realize we have a real issue here.

This is a crisis in this actually work.

The think is interesting about remaining Mexico is that the country that was most in favor of it was Mexico, they they lamented the fact the complaint actually to the administration on the day that he canceled it and there are couple of reasons why Mexico likes this policy.

First of all they get some aid from us to try and keep the people healthy and fat while they remain in Mexico.

It is a humane program because it lets people remain there and are fed and health include in their Safe while their immigration hearings are taking place, but the other thing that Mexico liked about it is because whenever we had this instituted illegal border crossings at our border, failed dramatically. Because of this, but not just that Mexico was having trouble policing their own southern border because people were coming in from the northern tribal countries in disrupting life in Mexico so Mexico like the program because it also decreased illegal crossings on their own southern border, and even though this was working even though it was lauded not just in America but some people that lauded in Mexico. The Biden administration stopped it anyway which is in think is right now refitting Jordan at 1.66 million people that have crossed illegally that we know about that with confronted Biden took office, you will love the evisceration of lettuce is a court order at a Texas work like forced into having to do this shorter value present by dangerous and there reinstating so that the plaintiff court that we come back the American Center for Law and issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity to help me way time you can participate in the EC LJ challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous heart wrenching challenge make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms. Today online okay only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how. Personally, publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists ramifications. 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the Obama care me in many ways your membership is powering the right question mission in life today online/situation that the bite evisceration finds himself sick, maybe because the pulley is in the 30s that approval polling is in the 30s again else that your staff shakeup and is kind like one thing after another. They never really get their hands on that. That's a good thing for our country, but they they can't even minutes such as the court order because there's all sorts of things that it was they did administratively in the program correctly that if you do that you go through the process of doing that while this quarters been sitting out there there reinstating. But if you listed digit sake today sound.

It says they all were being forced to do this horrible policy that that's not really the case will explain at that admitted meticulous brown color and maintaining everything. New York is also in the present. I have repeatedly said that this program is a clause in place and impose unjustifiable human costs, pulled resources and personnel away from other priority efforts and failed to address the root cause of our regular irregular migration deeply flawed. That's why they stopped enrolling individuals in the program and a one and subsequently issued a memorandum in June terminating the program but with the court said that's not the right way to do it instead of say okay were to do it the right way there reinstating and West you put out to be during a break. They renegotiated me some changes so it's not like what you say. It's like there's going back to square one because it forced to buy court not that's kind of how the Trinity to blame it to the left right doesn't like the policy led to try to justify call it inhumane and and unjustifiable human cost to me that the list goes on dangerous was used by Pres. Bob but they've actually updated it to make it even more stringent, more stringent and actually more effective and in my opinion more, since a couple changes among several that they've renegotiated with Mexico. First of all, not only will single adults be sent back across the border to remain in Mexico while their immigration hearings take place. Families with children will also be sent back together fed their health are close while their immigration hearing is scheduled because in the past of the chemical to the family. They just let you in and out and so that's a change.

The other thing that Mexico is now said they will not only hold people on their side of the border, who come from South America and the northern tribal countries, Mexico has said that we will hold anyone who speaks Spanish on our side of the border because what is happening, getting people, not just from Central and South America people are coming from Cuba and from all over the Caribbean. So Mexico saying when they come from those places. We will also hold them if they speak Spanish. So there are some significant changes going on in positive changes I get. I went to play the second 500 sake because you would know that because the administration is not trying to sell this as a positive Tracy were forced are henceforth as were saving the changes. Change actually got everything made the policy stronger took what was working. They make it start to kill a subject that you would never know that from the White House by 23. As you noted, though we are in a situation where we under a court abiding by court ruling and so that is what we are working to implement at this point in time. There are some key changes and exemptions that nonsecurity announced this morning and can speak to, but are our view of the program has not changed, working to implement under the court order working under the court order to be and it goes to, it's it's it's a real issue.

It's a humanitarian issue. We were finally able to take people back this idea people box at like operation warp speed. They mock present from this idea that this could ever be implemented now here they are, as Wes was explaining yes is it a court order, but instead of following that administrate the court also laid out how you could remove the policy get forced them but said he the way they did was wrong and instead of taking a procedural issue and if they really believed it go that way.

They made changes to actually beef up the policy yet. I think this is awfully convenient for them to your name, and I think they've come to the realization that the migrant protection protocols remain in Mexico and the rest of that they work Jordan, but they couldn't find a way to politically reinstate them without paying a political price and so they're sort of blaming it on the court. You know it's too bad we have to reinstituted when Jordan they know because they've seen the numbers they saw the crisis that took place over the last several months. They know that there the proper proper policies to put in place and remind listeners your naming. This is why we had that freedom of information act in place to ask why in the world you would stop a program that was actually helping the crisis will help stop a program that was working and by the way, stop a program that they still haven't reimplemented which is operation Talon which remove sexual offenders who are legally present in the country during all of those men out the window and all of them are working now. I'm grateful the migrant protection protocols were in place, but I just want to remind folks this is one of the reasons that we engaged at work behind the scenes because it brings to light it reveals the truth about what is working and what is not and it really puts pressure on an administration to do the right thing even if begrudgingly now turn.

I will say this an awful lot of harm was done.

In the meantime.

While this program was on the sidelines and it's a good thing that this court order has sort of given then the exit ramp luck. I just tell it like it, this was just a convenient way for them to say oh that was working and it's time to put it back in place and I think that I can get folks this is this a very important move because it is ultimately like visit. Maybe it's convenient for them, but it's also policy it works and that's what ultimately I meet people if they have been dealing with. I know the audience for crisis after crisis after crisis crisis. Turn on the news. If you still turn on the news, but the ideas that there there were that the trumpet is fresh scent. Acknowledge the crisis that was what they had no problem acknowledging it had to. We need to be creative about ways to to fix the problem and to improve this, that the situation border and honestly for people who are this is impacting which is all over the country that they don't care if your public it differently just what things that get done and whether the court try to nudge them here little bit but but that states that you are the kind of fell into this where they could, they could still blame a court but but utilize a policy that actually work. I think that down deep inside Jordan. The Biden administration is thankful for the court's decision they opposed. Of course the return to Mexico policy simply and totally because Pres. Trump was in favor of it no other reason no other reason there there there was no basis to oppose the policy except Trump came up with that therefore had to be bad so they play with her was challenged in court and I think they're breathing a sigh of relief saying well how wonderful this is.

We can go back now to the return and remain in Mexico policy and we can blame it on the court and tweak it a little and negotiate a little and do a little more talking with the Mexicans about this policy, which really was working over going to say the courts are forcing us to do it, that's playing to the left.

But of course and will were doing it unwillingly. But really, we want to do it. In point of fact, I think the Biden administration is breathing a sigh of relief saying thank the Lord that we have this court decision.

You know what Trump was right, and it was working, as we see it time to time.

Firstly, they were mock you mocked for just talking about the policy I've ever heard it when he's it would present. Trump said you don't have Mexico keep his people, and it will work out a deal work, having an arrangement and people said you gotta be kidding. They never go to do that.

And of course if you incentivize it in pressure and use your strength as it is a powerful country. Guess what they that's for me to Mexicogot solutions will border crisis. No one's ever been able to figure out and eat it because Congress can't get the job done on it so use an executive branch and the executive power there that set policy that works and then it was all well it's now the you know what it it's inhumane and dangerous.

Now they're back into re-implementing remain in Mexico that said said there still policies like operation Talon when it comes to trafficking. This should be reimplemented as well.

But there also still utilizing the section 42 emergency powers which the left been highly critical of to be able to expel people immediately without any kind of hearing place that you do not leave alive and make you become a claim because of the coping situation and that and so there's this emergency situation and they they have the power to do that ever change that they would change that they they they again so while they don't notice any attention on it and I don't think with all that is run VP Harris. I don't know who's in charge the border right now it it it it see that we have a department of homeland security vice President was tasked with it. We have Jim Saki speaking to her more than anyone so far in the administration, but I will take your calls out as well. The final say with the broadcast. This I think again this is a crisis. We should be able to come together with as a nation and have a unified policy on how were going to sick your are border and if you could come up with creative ways to do that working with our allies are working with our are those who border our country like Mexico that is great incentive, demonizing the other side of mocking the other side on it and I get that you see a policy like this back so I will take her phone calls on it. What hundred 684 30 wanted you to get enough attention is being given the crisis at the border, 1-800-684-3110 two away and be on the secular broadcast. We write back only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable. Is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice right to life.

We've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how publication includes a look at homemade were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later, when Obama care me in many ways your membership is empowering the right question mission in life today online/American Center for Law and engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those covering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life courts and in Congress.

ACLJ would not be able to do any of this. For that we are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 $50 gift becomes 100. This is time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous matching challenge make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms you forgive today online okay secular broadcast because they mature for you to would do its work to refocus that one, but specifically part of our policy practices that with you know these administrations coveted and they've demonized a policy that's been working they tried to get change the policy without going to the right process.

Part of our legal practice are in the government fears practice what was going on there like what would be taking the partisan ship out because I think they got first he thought they would never happen in the present trumpet ever get the deal with Mexico that he gets to deal with Mexico state. Gotta demonize it.

Now it works, and so they get a court it's that court that is outright if you like a file emergency appeals to get a stay of the like that while there in court the courts as a given. Why this policy down the correct way that other beefing back up. The remain in Mexico policy but is why that we do the work that we do to expose these issues and also focusing on the policies it it's a terrific example of why we asked people to partner with us when we engage in a number of efforts really any FOIA is sort of the most visible one we file a Freedom of information act request and then ultimately lawsuits to get information about why decisions are made in this case we wanted to know why a policy that was protecting the American people always ended Jordan so we did engage in foyer, we did engage in fact finally did engage Congress to try to find out those answers and turn there a lot of different tools that we use and I mean we've been very transparent with our listeners on this.

This is sort of the messy process, you win some you lose some courts. As you can have this you can't have this you have to narrow your request yet to negotiate but they at the end of the day Jordan what we got today is exactly what were after were trying to get transparency on these issues were trying to shed sunlight were willing to use every legal tool available to us to accomplish it and at the end of the day what worry after Jordan we were. After getting this policy that was protecting the American people back into place. So the way I look at this and you know the administration can put whatever excuse they want on it they can put whatever reason they want on it they can blame the court order Jordan. The policy protects the American people.

We need it back in place. It's back in place. I view, that is when plain and simple. I also viewed as evidence that this strategy is working and we will continue to engage it and so when we come back to an issue like this. I just want to kinda lay that out. This is why we asked people to support that worker can seem monotonous at times it can seem to take a long time and it can seem to have success mixed with failure in their Jordan. This is the result, it can produce the policies back in place and that's a win it's it's it's a get there up there. Some policies I know it's a word very partisan country that feels very divided. But it's like just because one present is able to come up with a policy, the works doesn't mean you gotta demonize everything. I think that the baby by the ministry, but maybe it's a wake-up call for everybody to come in and I don't see Republicans usually do this either safe.

We have to get rid of everything that the previous President.

Yes, there are certain issues like people elected you to make changes, but policies that are working and you just try to secure the border for everybody. Doesn't matter if you're Republican or Democrat. With these issues. I shouldn't and Ed maybe gets his back to that kind of place because there are some issues it should have to be so partisan when we deal about people's lives and and dignity and human beings that they let their reaction to Donald Trump cloud their judgment that hurt the United States of America. You can't overstate the seriousness of the border issue.

Look at the national security aspects look at the drugs coming across the human trafficking, the sex trafficking. The public safety issues. Now the health issues with COBIT. It is a very serious issue. Jordan yet. Up until now.

This administration has been like obviously dramatically out of touch with the seriousness of this issue will give you a couple of examples of how out of touch they are recently on Fox News Sunday May THE secular department, department of homeland security was talking to Chris Wallace and he said that you know Wallace is 10 to 12,000 people a day crossing the border. And what about that in my REPLY as well were just following the system were just following the system by bringing them at that time and letting them go to which Wallace said yeah but 11 million people have never come back for their court date when you gave them a notice to appear of the last decade or so. 11 million people which Mallorca says well the system is broken but were following it and I think it really the system is broken. You're going to follow it. The other thing that I noted here recently. John Kerry was making a speech in Mexico not long, about three weeks ago and he was trumpeting the parts of this bill before Congress that it includes a lot of the green new deal kind of issues and here's what he said at a speech in Mexico when we switch to electric vehicles there going to be a lot of good paying jobs right here in Mexico and I think it held tone deaf can you get in light of what's going on with the economy in America. But this administration is truly out of touch. There are literally billions of dollars of equipment in the construction of the wall that are laying in the desert deteriorating in the sun because again a reaction to Donald Trump were not going to build the wall and yet it's costing us $5 million a day. Could we Artie found the contracts with contractors, $5 million a day not to build a wall that was having a good effect and meanwhile billions of dollars of equipment is not dispensing his cameras is wiring is all kinds of the high tech equipment that is literally laying in boxes on the ground in the desert because of the reaction of this administration against the trust administration, not what is good for America and he he said Sec. for Department of Transportation, better known as Mayor Pete. He started every about the gas prices can deposit it out his his his department and entities to says well enough you don't like paying high gas prices go get like what was to provide electric car. I mean, this couple things electric cars so far, but pretty expensive. There are some companies coming out now that you bring the price down but a lot of you tests.

I think the model three is also supply chain issues with cars. I mean, in getting vehicle I'm supposed to issues that one like you could just buy the country could say if if you're somewhat aware that the gas goes up a dollar or dollar 50 a gallon that's hurting you able to go purchase electric cart to to to somehow alleviate that issue that's exactly right. Jordan that's the anomaly what he says if you don't want to pay $3.54 for a gallon of the lowest grade of gasoline which 25 years ago by the way was $0.70 a gallon. But now is 354 gallon go by an electric, that's just the idea I can order the electric car and I can afford gas.

So what you want me to do get caught in the middle but again it's back to what we have been saying we demonize the the very salutary good effect of policies of Pres. Trump with respect to gas with respect to the border with respect to so many other things simply because Trump came up with them and so we've got to do a scorched-earth policy.

We come in scrap everything the Pres. Trump did this because it was Pres. Trump and implement no alternative to it as West Smith said when asked about it by Chris Wallace Mallorca says were following the system and that's all he falls back on were following the system.

A system that says you're supposed to report back to court and 11 million people never have and never will. Is that which is that your solution to the problem. I think that's good. I think it's a state said fish of the broadcasting victory. Then I can call it that they they obviously they decided to say all you act like there.

Every person into this policy is a positive way.

It would take that praise be to what we can we claim this specific professor victory were Trump supporter. This I did these policies work the remaining Mexico is being re-up a bit on Monday too much next year Monday. That's how quickly the ministry she's acting. I think also reports he probably speaks to is how bad things have got the borders we discuss will talk to on secular the American Center for Law and critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ challenge for every dollar you donate will be $10 gift becomes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family.
