Breaking news the Twitter CEO resigns immediately. Talk more today now want to hear from you Sharon post call 1-800-683-1130 have the effect of the stock market Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey whose bid known as liberal activist recalls oriented force Twitter famous for are infamous for banning Donald Trump in seeing their stock price drop 12% that one day, down in that it ultimately after shut down 6%. It's been that of the over 20% over the last couple of years so the stock is not doing great. The release this morning. Just the fact that Jack Dorsey, the CEO and founder of twitter is gone. It's effective immediately, has set the stock price up about 4% and they had to close training because of that it was just too much volatility so that the issue here is, is this a direct reaction to corporate America realizing going totally woke excludes more than half the country, or at least half the country and these moves by these founders of these companies that ultimately damage the brand.

I will be honest with you right now. I think a lot of you know this who are on twitter. I should be much more active on Twitter.

I not just corporately getting out ACLJ information but also engaging in politics and things like that got too toxic way to toxic way to personal and in there with the banning of people. I felt like everything I wrote there had to be conservators. I got the blue checkmarks of the company be coming after me.

So I'm very careful with it now, which is not what Twitter was supposed to be on it once was merely shifted. Watch what you say. If you're conservative because you might get banned in then why my putting resources into this think it's very interesting that his statement a set of decidedly twitter because I believe the company is ready to move on from its founders, three that reads few different ways, one of which is either what corporatized this company thought maybe start monetizing twitter and maybe that includes like you said maybe a little more open to opinions they have tried on many occasions, actually to figure out this toxicity issue. Do they have with it. What I know plenty of people celebrities and just regular people of personal friends of mine who have completely quit and left the platform with millions of followers because of all you said how quickly becomes a very easy to access point of negativity in their life. It's really hurting your life. So I think to me that says it's time to move on.

Started were now you can limit who can respond to you. They tried all these different things and in the tribe paid tweets to just have your fans who reported they keep trying over and over to keep this going letting you write a lot of it is deeply political.

Jack is a political figure that clearly a guy who created it in their industry platform that has served maybe a change in purpose the last 20 years. As I said originally it was not the way it was. He saw the rise of sort of the alternative outlets and you saw the rise of some Toledo like an Instagram where it's her Snapchat were it's not so highly politically divisive. A lot of it is something to relax. Okay, they do enjoy instead of this caustic toxic violent kind of behavior become a death threats continually on twitter then you tell them that hey hey this person's this person is a give me a death threat and six months later they could come up that you off half twitter so it stuff like that really does happen and I think this is a good move of research we don't know about this new this new CORD in place. I don't know much of his background, but I think just that statement are moving beyond the founders means moving on and he said against the political ideology of this in becoming a corporation and dad just quickly I this is because it was becoming like a public for an it's not right it's it's regulated and one where they don't have the same power I would've talk, but that we come back to the break in public forums were known for that.

The way you deal with controversial speech is more speech and twitter went the other way. They said the way you deal with controversy is to shut one side of the debate down.

I think that with what's led to a lot of this will talk more about that whole idea public or we come back so share this broadcast with your friends and family. If you're watching the show on social media platforms share with your friends and family support people see the conversation. My company is going to join us later the show as well support our work. ACLJ the November matching challenge continues@aclj.org double the impact of your donation of your event. The American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith.

Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress.

ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100.

This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take Courtney and her matching challenge today and make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you and your family. Give a gift today online ACLJ only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life.

We created a free hour for publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold edition like it will show you how you personally support, and publication includes all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of weighing 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to discover many ways your membership is empowering the right question for copy mission in life today online ACLJ/let me just let you know. So the CEO twitter is stepped out, effective immediately, his release is benign.

Best of his headset time for new leadership founders need to go something about it like this up anything like that happened there except for their stock in the last three months is down 20%. It was down 12%. The day they banned Donald Trump and then climbed up believing that 6% but it's been it's been losing engagement and we just are not broadcast all telling you our own experiences with engaging that we still utilize it as an organization we utilize as a way to get breaking news comments from members of Congress and I'll tell you a platform on unjust politics for that is not to survive as a megacorporations had at bringing other people got toxic for celebrities and athletes and and so easily end up six about 20 and up. You can lose your career and it was that's not what you said something 20 years ago right underwriter for get these come out like people in high school and so I again this idea that because they're not.

They don't have.

It's not a for sin, a First Amendment issue that's really because of the section 230 protections we talked about so much that these Internet companies from liability for content, but also allow them to decide they get to be the police instead of a dad which is a traditional public for which we've fought it up for a lot of the ACLJ which the place were real free speech is allowed. And that's the difference between these companies and how the regulated versus the actual public for though, the way it worked.

In the 1980s and 90s and going back to the 60s was that the public form is defined as the highways and byways, the streets, the sidewalks, the college campuses. These were areas that will be open for free speech and recalled some occult traditional public forums of the recalled open public forms and the one thing you cannot do on a public form the government cannot do is pick one side of the debate that was called viewpoint discrimination in a series of cases that I argued in the 1990s. The what happened in those cases where the Supreme Court said unanimously.

By the way, that viewpoint discrimination is unconstitutional per se. You can't have you know a pro-abortion message and then shut off the pro-life speech well the new highways and byways became the social media platforms like Twitter and the course are not there not controlled by the government saving the same First Amendment protections. But then they did not become just a neutral arbitrator just said they became became toxic because they were picking one side of the debate really shutting out speech they disagree with the point like you said, it's very difficult to engage on that platform yet to be.

Logan is for our audience. I feel like I'm a lot of them were on it in these last 56 years because present Trump really I think he actually remade twitter by by utilizing it so often, and not just using it in the corporate way. If I was a corporate way corporate ways.

I mean from you know, with me linking to an ACLJ new story is good to utilize a waste of utilize platform people can share.

I can share a clip from Mike Pompeo being on today is like that. That's the corporate way the personal way is what present Trump did. He was giving you reaction you live yeah either action without having to go to a TV studio and a lot of people moved to different platforms and we see other people. We have seen a lot of thousand people watch on on Facebook and on YouTube. We were broadcasting on Twitter actually moved away from that we actually host our clips from rumble right now is what we do on our twitter account.

I'm curious.

For those of you who are watching. How do you consume social media where you go, what platforms you now going to give us a call.

I would love to hear that 1-800-684-3110 opposite without some you're watching always different platforms to comment as well give us a call. What you think about this move from from Jack leaving at Twitter we could definitely bring you back to their platform or are you done for good and where you go way I could there be other moves maybe certain people being unbent that would bring you back to the platform. That's what I'm curious about and which CMC a lot of people move away from it, but maybe there is a way to write the wrong here that's been happening on their platform gives a call would love to hear from you what hundred 684-3110. We know there lot alternatives right now or always try to find a great social media team who sees always trying to investigate and look at new platforms, new ways to engage would love to hear from you about having that this is a it is very unique because I again then the section 230, which is been talked about a lot is whether not this needs to go is is really protects them from the normal rules of the good of the road for actually a lot of other companies to you wouldn't because we were trying to allow the Internet to blossom and grow and innovate and maybe it made sense for time. When they became the content police were not talking about taking down concert that wouldn't be allowed the public form either. Dad like there was pornographic. Whether it was Harris promoting our or promoting illegal activity. That's one thing but the idea that they they just take it you know we know we can see our numbers. We use the word abortion in the head and the number it doesn't get served as many people yesterday for cross pretty much all social media platforms all the major social media platforms.

The mainstream ones, that's just true that we see that notifications we see that constantly adjusting the algorithm in a way, the way that works when it comes to twitter as we see the people been banded and if you have a bad who are running as you said terrorist regimes worldwide and some of Twitter's always responsive to be well were trying to make sure that even now they get the message that we have their version records.

We know that's not the case. Look the part are specifically getting people thrown off twitter I will say that I have reported plenty of people. But why is because they threatened me and my family by name in very specific events so look, I'm not saying everyone should be allowed on their should be this blanket free speech does matter what you say. Like you said, there are limits to that we not say that you can have a limit on what you will be posted on your platform, but we jumps. He saw that limit the exit does not only just you put out there in it where working people to band, but also where you get shadow band where you just really get stifled in terms of reaching the question that is is is this a move that ultimately could reopen the idea of twitter as a kind of public form where people feel more comfortable utilizing again, or do they continue event that woke culture move and and really make it a place for only one side in the group who agrees with each other, and either because breaking news and things like that. That's not enough to keep that platform as a multibillion-dollar company don't look at me.

This is a jurisprudence after Mike because of the way it used to work as I said was Abby's way speech areas in these free-speech areas were open for the exchange of ideas and you had multiple voices in the way you dealt with speech was that you disagree with with more speech that immigrate with and you enabled him that was up to the individual hear you got a company that takes the role of a manager if you will, content manager and the content manager here specifically in this situation, I gotta be clear is taking it on what you said we didn't get shadow band but you pick one side of the debate that they don't like or even using the word. So what happens here is the question becomes is next round of leadership so you know we we wanted this Remo bus marketplace like Logan said, it doesn't mean you can yell fire in a movie theater doesn't mean causality from it does mean and I think this is where comes in that when it comes to Alisa leveling the playing field level the playing field but a lot of people of left lately social media platform for others for precisely that reason. Now the truth is there are more people watching us right now on Facebook and and I'm sure on YouTube and and then then on the other platforms that are out there that's just called market dominance. But the way you handled speech in the old days when I was living in these cases, would you allow for robust free-speech that appears that it's robust all right, but now it's nasty and nasty and threatening and generally not a conversation conversation with people just look hardly anymore. I mean I'm it's it's what he wants me to stop. Yet one that is the point is that if you're if you're looking there for maybe you see it sports are you looking there for news, commentary for this, but if you're looking there for actual dialogue back and forth. It's just become nasty. One of the phones Cassondra in North Carolina online one walking secularly on the air. Thank you, thank you for all that you do well, but had been a necessary evil and started business for my artwork in my book and I think become more challenging. I actually found that I've had tremendous success in switching over to doing more on telegram in the conservative world as it seems when the messaging platform. There is a way to kind of group message out on a lot of people do use it, I believe I've used before.

Donald Junior is usually there is. You also have to do some due diligence on where these companies come from a good part is that China has banned telegram I think is maybe somewhere you go.

Well it's been a good thing. They are Russian own company so you do have to admit nothing wrong with their very anti-censorship so no problem without a know much about it but you do have to do some due diligence also with each other. Platforms come up when you have something like a very clear-cut Jack Dorsey Mark Zuckerberg you know who are running these two major companies, meta, and running twitter and all their subseries, Facebook, Instagram, there is a bit more, not transparency, but we should kinda know where the bus stop that I am always hesitant with some of these new ones without knowing look, rumbles a good programmable. It's like a YouTube alternative we I've talked to the CEO myself here, but we went on there so I know that they're real people, human beings that are running with us. There are some things do I love to hear more from you though, here's a call 1-800-684-3110 about kind of where you're going, and social media what what how do you ingest social media do you take it for what it's worth, you used to exit the necessary evils of Facebook and twitter as they say I don't associate that. But I just sort of the, the truth about his call one 800 684 31 to elicit present binders addressing the country now on the new covert variant for watching and see if there's any news that you have Artie seen about some of the travel restrictions is anything else on this were not Artie mounted. Singapore sector state nursing accounts for global affairs Mike Pompeo during his next room talking a Ron that team is over there on the Biden team trying to negotiate in Vienna new nuclear deal with the call that with Iran will be right back only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We created a free hour for publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission will show you how you personally support the publication includes all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist the ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right question free copy of mission in life today online ACLJ/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you today online ACLJ to secular rejoin them by her senior counsel for global affairs. Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Cemetery Pompeo, thanks for joining us rent the holiday and neuron right before the holiday, but let me ask you because of specific times for people here because the IAEA has new evidence of Iranian nuclear activity. The obstructed investigators you tweeted out on Friday that international inspectors confirm Iran live in continues to lie about it snoops they never fully comply with the Obama new deal. Why would Biden let his weak negotiators go to Vienna to cut a deal with the Ayatollah in his butcher, the newly elected President racy what IEA fine and what to tell you about the seriousness of these Iranian talks because their ongoing right now.

What they inspectors found Ellen M.

Grossinger one day.

IAEA was a continuation of what we already knew, but probably worth we've known for a long time that when John Kerry signed the deal the JC POA uranium lied about the history of their weapons program nuclear program that without a given it with a wink and a not carry misdirected what had happened under our watch is that we put enough pressure on the Arabian that we force them to begin to comply with the IA needed to do as they could see the new administration coming in now. They've essentially blocked inspectors what Grossi reported was that they've now found fissile material.

Nuclear isotopes apply to the quick not be consistent with what the previous bill they find with do not understand how you can fit your negotiating team into Vienna to negotiate a deal with the same people who lied to you about their nuclear program before what will that piece of paper actually be worked or not.

I would argue that there much. Follow that up because the thing I don't understand here is that we all know that you know by ministration wants to be back in this deal with Iran, but they said the one verifiable facts they want to make sure this compliance we know that is not compliance, there's never been compliance. I made the statement before that when the United States pulled out the Europeans were spilling, but the Iranians never complied with this so is this a deal to just get a deal is that what many ministration looking for here is that due to the region is already very concerned. Yeah, I think you got it right. I think they want and so desperately that in spite of their statements that that were going to get a longer stronger deal working to get a shorter weaker deal, one that begins to expire literally within a handful of months explainable to me they didn't comply with the full requirement or time. He implied that the same guys right Malley, Ben Roosevelt, the whole gang didn't comply. The first time with what they had promised. There's no reason to think they will.

This time, and what you'll see is your see the other countries in the region.

The Arab states. The erotic Saudi Kuwaiti Egyptians always watching closely as Iran begins to develop its capability of call on weapons program, not just a weapon but weapons program and they too will feel the need to proliferate to have the capacity to protect themselves from the theocratic global regime. What is the deliverable here secretary pump having it with this kind of follow-up and they go to these meetings. They put all this time.

All this staff attention audit. What's the deliverable for the USA. We seek all these Iranian demands and I know we know for the passes put them on the path towards nuclear weapon with a bit on now since they this since they had initially had the JC POA not a clear deliverable but no clear alternative but haven't told me when he told us of what will be in the event that you don't sign it at first they came on public pensions don't work so well. Critical thinking template organelle at the proliferate work and allow them to build a missile program in their care capability around the world. Then they said well if this doesn't work we might put something in place or if you're the Uranian you know that the functions are already essentially got there not being in force. The Chinese are already purchasing Iranian crude up. Ironically, the same crude oil that Pres. Biden is asking them to release from the strategic petroleum reserve to save American record right Iranian oil to China now being released into the market to help American no one could make this stuff up. I don't know what their ultimate goal is that I think they just want to get a deal to preserve the legacy of Pres. Obama's second term and that previous deal to say, bad Obama guide we got a deal and any problems that happen will happen after Pres. Biden got it a year that you please rephrase this point on them just to read the quote here so Israelis. Prime Minister Bennett has urged the world, not the quote given to Iran's nuclear blackmail. That's exactly the words that he's using that weight would that messily carried weight under your administration doesn't mean a thing to these negotiators in the present Biden what is real sign that the facts suggest that what our administration is doing is putting pressure on the Israelis come out and support this crappy deal that the telling former Israeli leaders. Hey send out up at that that statement put pressure on Bennett the prime minister predator Naftali Bennett of Israel put pressure on Prime Minister Bennett not to make a big deal out of this. In fact, just the opposite of what we would do. We would've acknowledged Israel's right to defend itself.

Indeed, its duty to support them that this administration is telling them be quiet being your own place. Don't don't buy that. We got bigger grander Beverly strategic objectives that we are trying to achieve and essentially pressuring Israeli leadership to at least at least not squawk when this really, really, we deal get struck switch gears just for moment here to China because you got a new piece up that went out over and over on the last week after holiday@aclj.org so people could see right on the home page from second tape on parents is once again, Biden fails to stand up to China. The weakness again that we saw just remind people at Summit that occurred between present Biden presidency was virtual but it was their first face-to-face since present. Biden took office, and it just again.

It was another one of those things you can walk away from with your hands up saying, what was that for relate what they want to accomplish.

Other than that we want to talk to talking there were no objectives that I could discern that they disclose in their statement following the summit either. They that they will update the administration wants to talk about what we welcome competition with China. I must say she's thinking the leader of the Chinese cabbage party welcomes credited Biden saying that he welcomes competition promise you that TEC is a statement because America compete with China and Chancellor Chinese continue to lock all over steel our intellectual property and trade our local systems politically here at home to deny the ability to stand what's going on with this virus. It Artie did ministration still running rampant around the world. This is the survey a China has chosen confrontation that needs to do with the trumpet ministration get to wake up to this confrontation and to push back on training every one of these.

Whether it's cyber or military or commercial to stand up and defend and secure American freedom from the Chinese Party. I thought joining us in the broadcaster, senior counsel for global affairs at the ACLJ that new piece again is upright of the homepage ACLJ.org once again, Biden fails to stand up to China and let me just let you on those are going to this break. Rickety discussion to one on twitter what's happened there with either CEO I stepping down to talk. Some of these Iran issues as well, brought out some more folks from our team in the studio but let me just encourage you the reason why Mike Pompeii was on the team at ACLJ is a senior counsel for global affairs because your support for the ACLJI. We been able to expand even in a time of uncertainty when there is been pandemic in the issues that we been able to grow as an organization to expand the work that we do because of your financial support of the ACLJ this month is a great time. Double the impact of your donation to theaclj@aclj.org that's ACLJ.org again so I can $25 donation that is like $50 force because a group of donors will match that make the initial contribution that's ACLJ.org we write back. Second half hour, for secular the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate, it will be now. $10 becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in the one who knew protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most to you and your family. Give a gift today online ACLJ keeping you informed anything now is Jordan secular. That first.

Obviously Wednesday or supreme to hear the Dobbs case.

This is the first time the court is heard a direct challenge to Roe versus Wade releases Planned Parenthood versus Casey which reaffirmed much of row I we will have morning rivet because the Windstream courts operate right now that will have audio from it that way, even if the case goes longer as they have been going a longer week.

It would be able to live analysis at that day and of course, are the following up as well. That's exactly right. So this is to be a very historic day. This is the case that involves the constitutionality of and continue on precedent of Roe versus Wade. I mean it. It's clearly before the court. There is no question is before the court. The issue is joined were to find out real soon what the justices that were just appointed feel about the constitutionality of Roe versus Wade which is been on a constitutional basis amendment for putting the policy assignment on the constitutional basis is been suspect since it began with that you know was Justice Blackmun wrote that the this right to privacy, which is where he found the right to abortion was part of the penumbras of the Constitution of the Bill of Rights and Mrs. this was judicial fiat.

This was made up and minimal although now for 50 years. So the question is to be a big mistake to start decisive switches. Governing law will control where they get to do what they've done. In other cases of magnitude in site you know what Supreme Court is not infallible. They got it wrong here were to return this the site. It does not mean that abortion is illegal in every state it simply returns the issue of abortion to the states so that that really will be the issue that the Supreme Court's codesign. I think by June were to have an idea where that comes out slightly if that were to happen, it will get into this more, but there haven't been about half the country would have a lot of restrictions or maybe completely ban elective abortion so nonmedically necessary abortion and then edge about half the country would probably a pretty extreme rules either be a different it would be a whole different issue and fight we have to get to that point and Odyssey had to get this case.

Ultimately, there was never was not hearing these cases for for decades have been so this is a unique opportunity when we followed up. Of course, we found three different briefs.

In this case, I threw ACLJ another one of our entities and the European Center for Law and Justice as well weighing it so that we been actively engaged in this case and I just want to remind you that is this week, so if you come back from holidays that is happening on Wednesday and we will be of course live there and give you updates even if it's not finished yet because of the way the course and put this on that we would talk about a twitter the seal twitter steps down, effective immediately. Today resigning immediately with pretty benign statement saying if you have its bite my time to go for the family to go in and will it become more corporate stock price was down pretty considerably. It's been dropping. It's a lot of that started when twitter began, not just banning bad actors terrorist traffickers drug dealers by the way that you know that little band Ayatollah but they band Pres. Trump and when that happened the stock prices of just continue to drop for a company that's always had a tough time forget how to monetize it.

Anyways, that's one of the cool things about twitter isn't full of ads about wonderful Tim in California online 118 welcome to secular your near my call so long for Jack Dorsey to do the right thing and what is the future of twitter conversations happening about that with the futures of twitter biopsies one founders and use of the main face of twitter.

I think he in general says is really believe there should be this corporate face of twitter so I think for the future of the platform is either going to see much like our Facebook shifted, much like Instagram has shifted Shirley Hennessey assuming come in with a more corporate values who understand maybe how to try monetize this is Vern said always been a struggle would twitter run ads with very limited, very limited ad space that sometimes the good of twitter was a you're just getting fed information that you wanted. Are you so you thought that it could be renting a major change comes to twitter general as they try to hold it look very massive organization are going anywhere but he said that other social media platforms before and often lifelines away if you well and there is no more that those tricks and tricks tricks up will see lots alternative popping up this. The American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who face covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that.

We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ the work we simply would not occur without your generous heart wrenching challenge to make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you today online ACLJ only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice.

Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn, called mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists. The ramifications of 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the industry and what Obama care means to serve the many ways your membership is powering the right question for incoming mission in life today online ACLJ/secular graves of our team as well. The economic side of this area, you will get a company like this. David the been making controversial decisions. They tried to placate the what they thought. My guess was their base audience, which was younger people and liberals and this new kind of woke corporate culture that were seeing throughout the stock prices kept going down and kept in serious way. Swing down 20% last three months and now you see the founders. This is your big moments when I found out like Jack Dorsey whose outspoken on these liberal issues at East is resides on a Monday, effective immediately. Yes, I think your analysis is very, very soon.

Twitter stock has fallen 20% over the past couple of years, perhaps over the last few months and I think that is a very good thing but we should contrast that relatively sharply with the fact that the stock market itself has generally speaking, been rising and Jack Dorsey has made himself the focal point of disappointment with twitter because he has become a hot and heavy social justice warrior and so consistent with that claim. Jack Dorsey has been a strong supporter of Ibrahim X can be an imprint X can be perhaps America's leading woke theorists today states that the most threatening racist movement in the United States is not the right and their unlikely drive for a white F no state but the regular Americans drive for a race neutral one can these absurd views are then echoed by Robin D'Angelo and it's important to keep in mind that Jack Dorsey has given it promax candy over $10 million. I believe as part of a grant and in this house also propelled twitter to give up on being a public forum for public debates, so twitter has instead become a hateful medium that has been toxic to conservatives and to conservative opinion. As a consequence, its market share has fallen and I began I would say that is a good thing because the market is reacting to the negative behavior of Jack Dorsey. Now that he's leaving. Perhaps twitter will turn the page and once again resume its original function is dead at what at one of these I go to with this is that when when twitter first large week. I was really cool when she sent emails out.

He's our own ACLJ list encouraging people to sign up because we thought it was a cool unique way to engage wasn't as personal as I Facebook it wasn't like a bunch of photos your family photos. It was just dialogue but was a way for people to directly engage and then it became again. It just it's not out of control.

The sense of of robust dialogue, but out of control.

This is that your I don't feel comfortable just writing a tweak and sending it out because I don't know what the consequences may be I'm talking a pretty nice stuff that I'm saying on the radio broadcast nothing. Nothing nothing nothing more than that if we use this word if you say this work. My go to be banned so the money that we've invested to tip to row the following base is that all gone. I mean we have to think about that with all these platforms now this was that the kind of offender number one offender number two is is Facebook you will look at remixing that on days when you know you have a topic that we know our radio audiences are fully engaged in mobility as the example, the phone lines will jam up, and there's you know I'm making a joke airman enters nine people watching on Facebook when it used to be 6000 what's going on. There are so you understand that the social media platforms have become the new and the 2020s is the new public for the question is, is anyone going to require that they police this in a way that is neutral and the Internet is probably not. So what happens is you, then don't have a a pure debate of what used to stay on the sidewalks. The highways and byways, as we used to say in the Supreme Court cases on the way back in the 1960s, 70s and 80s. Now you have one side of the debate and is Logan and you have said perfectly. I think it's very toxic, very quick to the point where sometimes you will tell me don't even look@twitter.net.

Look at twitter because it it gets so toxic so quick, it's usually it's usually not you know a lot of people, but it's a not to create a stir and when it does it, it creates its own news and its own danger still leave a lot of people that are on our twitter feeds and and get our information, but look. There's no question that this is become a wild West with no regulation putting the sermon yesterday.

She feels like the bow unless you can find horrendous things on Twitter right now, but you can't see Donald Trump suites that next to me was was kind of different.

Jack Dorsey probably might revert to him. He's good. He's kind of saying he's stepping Jay's movie different roles and you guys are at this point I said I one of the main things with twitter is obsolete and anonymity is fine on the United States needed over twitter it was to the point where these a lot of touches that these are a few few people laptops.

These are not people. These are our companies organizations. These are PR teams PR teams bought farms that are creating accounts to stifle Cree bad news for you to do things I've had stuff. There's no way it's not just being hammered on by specifically people who are have buzzwords set to target those who use those specific words are big and not people items is not human beings that have no leisure Donald Trump if you get kicked off twitter there's no way for you to not just restart back up. Trust me I know got a couple of you out there who are her right watching right now, they do that to me so they do it to me to do it to a lot of people and it is sad.

It's ridiculous. You do see someone like Jack Dorsey stepping aside, I hope this a positive move. I think for him and try positively to set same as Eichelberger probably like you know what this is got out of control. We were the people who break very early a lot of twitter. I hear the first few years for becoming mainstream. We were very innovative. The campaigns ran the time this winter retreat for pastor use F campaign. Imagine a time where you would give an organization. This is how social media was presented 10 years ago you gave an organization like ours access to tweet on your behalf because I because you said this was a different time social media we were able to go in. We would tweet something we have full control to tweet what everyone honestly we said we are going to. We had our love rules we are going to tweet this specific thing in support of the prison pastor you would never do that now to an organization you would never let someone take upon your account because the trust is no longer there. Social media and you see that with the fragmentation and wetsuit ideas but it's what he says where we need to have.

There's got to be places online because that younger people, not even that young people I'd say here if you're under 50, the idea of traditional protester traditional agape is it's not. It's people used to be able to do it online and it's not. It doesn't have to be anonymous, you can you most was usernames can be bad for the soul pretty quick yet absolutely I think you could actually see that reflected in some of my characters doesn't seem like like like it just seems like it's been raining on them to because real public forms are really nasty and but America was found on that idea and the idea you could just police. One guy you don't like and then I think in all from there to suspend its effect me up a ball just kind of unites it just there, is that there's either it's got to be a big change or it will just continue to lose influence of the followers may stay up there. But people may not be engaging.

It was a very effective way to communicate. But not only that it was a very popular way for people to communicate and yet the last few years, Jack Dorsey. Under his leadership is been surrounded in controversies been perceived as biased.

He has allowed his personal political opinions.

I think the cloud his judgment as the leader of this company and you it's it's unfortunate it really is.

He miss read.

I think were most of the American people work. He also has misread were his investors are as well.

It's time for change and and color me optimistic. I hope it will be a change for the better. It will go back to being an open and neutral platform and social media like it was never started out here in it. I think to be ultimately and then just cut your thoughts real public forms means will see things you don't like at the I think the Internet is had, it's unique because it's different than just a protester counter protest, but it that has got to be figured out that the long-term issue so that the Russian bots don't dominate discussions and and twitter trolls don't dominate discussions in Facebook isn't saying out today, ACLJ gets 50,000 viewers with their video and tomorrow gets 1000 because we don't like the word that was used yet. So what it becomes is a become more like a utility. Something told me privately owned. Generally, the power companies but they are regulated and the Internet is not been, and certainly there's been immunity given under section 232 companies like twitter and on so what you have to see if you open up the forum now and you allow robust speech and what's the government's role, if any, in that but again I think that the cats out of the bag.

I think that's a very hard to scale back.

I'm very concerned about the scope and nature. What's going on the sites and I think we just have to be aware that you know it's a difficult situation and it's not a public forum December, I love to hear from you.

Their censorship is not equally applied that this issue, all these social media platforms right now who engage in censorship versus trying to police illegal content. There's a difference you don't like the way we're talking about the idea that you can police try to keep out the sex traffickers, drug dealers, Isis tears, people promoting the acts of violence promoting illegal activity.

That's it right there that's not protected free speech in the Constitution. But that's not how it's worked. Yes they do some of that but it seemed like a much more aggressive on the political front low. This way because you can find all the bad stuff on their usages go on and be creative. They put right back and people know the words to use and it said but yet when they make these political moves that they can be lifetime dance slats of the yet similar President had not been a total of their lifetime band sex traffickers is a really can't. They had actually where Pres. Trump, someone we did on his behalf or posted just a clip we will all be honest while you watch on YouTube right now were always kind of straddling the line of what we can use and yet is because you see when he's had speeches or things like that just clips of that technically is showing the speech that becomes hold other stories. We have to be August the always very careful and in the tiptoeing of that is ridiculous where you write for him. If you create account or even just from which we did on his behalf or something like that really shut down. However, if you random whoever decides to send something horrendous to you and your family and make threats sure they get around to it three or four weeks, maybe six months. They may get around.

Think you know what they need the account. He reported we decided you were right. It should be suspended.

I've had that happen multiple times from seam accounts.

I reported months later. I don't remember the threat they made, but I know that they did.

Clearly I made a report in the end you and as they do it within a day two days. All of a sudden that same person rises up and they have a brand-new account. It doesn't matter to their 12 followers there just getting to you because they want to scare you, and I think there's also people again. A lot of people are even real.

These are people who are are are have a bigger means and bigger needs than just specifically going to you because they dislike you personally. It's because there is a much bigger machine happening behind the scenes.

Twitter has and has that anonymity allow the other social media platforms do not allow again and they can go either way on that.

There's some pluses and minuses to it that when it comes to actual threats or issues like that. They're very slow to act unless it's a body with national attention getting to go to Beth in Kentucky online to hey Beth, welcome to secular things going on your on the air, everything had to say about 1.9.8 social media sites do not exist in a vacuum.

They are reflected as to what is going on in society at all the different levels and in higher education in the past earn in in school board meetings, you name it. There is no healthy place to have a discussion with different ideas and to do it respectfully and so you can think back plate like Twitter or Facebook which used to be self-monitoring. We let the outlook around say that guys a trawler whenever people would call the person out no longer exist because it's not existing at the site. Take a look at that election year that had found there was no room for any kind of donate another ideas felt when he click distance you can't change the problem. Twitter and Facebook until you address the bigger issue and how do we talk about things respectfully agree agreed or going to disagree on anything.

Demonization of the right by a lot of corporate America because they've accepted this push to go the other way that they felt like this is a good financial decision for them. Harry and instead I think what they're saying is it when you start alienating half the country that's that's about where the elections are for you half the country votes this way and have a lot of those people aren't, they don't care about politics with everyday. This this is kind of forced them to because it's in their face every moment so that the whole group of kind of the disinterested voter they vote in the big elections care about their country. This now with the dominator life. It feels like now. We had does because in every aspect was that your social media. Whether it's Twitter, and when the they start banning voices like eight at Donald Trump. You feel like as a regular person but I got no power here. I think your analysis is spot on.

So I would say first that social media platforms often harness social division and there is in fact an empirical study out that shows that, for instance, Facebook tends to increase the level level of societal fragmentation number two Corporation seek to monetize social division. So if for instance you look at American airlines American airlines essentially placed one of its own employees on suspension or discipline.

Why, because he spoke out at a school board meeting against critical race theory, and so corporations many times have decided to take one side rather than attempting to serve all Americans impartially and so I think the caller is onto something that social division is a huge, huge problem going forward.

This feels three W. is like you come to work the ACLJ Wheeler mission to go if you don't like that Mr. W presciently worketh ACLJ and I think our supporters would appear that the but when you talk about an airline or a platform.

You would assume those are places where again, it's not. It's not think their mission is not is not like the ACLJ's are not an organization set yet they become that these these companies are now some of the biggest activist you talk about the money that they're giving out to the CEOs but the month to get the seals are getting the money from the company and are able to then fund these causes. They feel like you know every time you see a commercial and others. There's a little activism in absolutely, you know you and most Americans reserve center right and if you pulled Americans about how they feel about these kinds of issues.

I think most Americans would agree. Don't tell me what to think and don't criticize me for my thoughts, freedom of speech is not the only thing foundational to America, freedom of thought is also foundation to our country and what is happened under Jack Dorsey's leadership is that freedom of speech and freedom of thought has been targeted by Twitter and I think people are tired of that. I want to ultimately any loan every Final question for you think this.

This has a real impact if it's a big side. I think you can have a really big impact. If the new leadership. I kinda can get away from having like a sense of this key person figurehead moved to just being a big corporate company entity. I think there is good that can happen. And in that in terms of the way exit the censorship problem exists. It's yet to be seen but II do believe the reason that the stock bounced is not because people feel that you feel right now that there could be a positive right I'm in this time of the corporate America would basically donate money to both sides of politics and now a lot of these corporate subbands on donating to the Republic again just they put in pans and so the idea is to be kind of open for all safety were given do this because people change in the leadership change and now it's all one-sided.

So like a regular company start to feel like an ACLJ but that's not what it should be like. And again I hope that we have these platforms. I think younger people want to be able to do this through their phone not having it real rallies and things like that. It pose different issues as well covered and forcibly followed very closely.
