Breaking news the US holds diplomatic meeting with the Taliban in a special sneak preview of our new documentary series revenge keeping you informed and now this is the Taliban. They very much want to be seen to be negotiating with representatives of powerful country in the world and instantly the American round of the talks is just finished and they moved on to talking to the Europeans so that you will burnish their image or at least make them as if they're a legitimate government want to hear from you, Sharon Peyster, call one 800-6843 11 $7 billion worth of frozen assets held in US bonds and in gold in the US ON the Taliban took over and showed up at the central bank thinking great, let's get our hands on the money to run the country. It wasn't there, and now your circular secular. This is Logan Sekulow George executive producer of secular will. We are to be taken. Your phone calls 100-684-3110 of the issues at hand course relieving with that US delegation met with the Taliban over the weekend. Maybe the first what you call diplomatic meetings with the doll bed and all of that.

I'm CS chaos is still new stories are coming out from Afghanistan received new things coming from that we have a bread do documentary series I been working on with our team for the last month and 1/2 or so in real time documenting how people feel the thoughts and emotions, and some of the top leaders in Washington and around the world. It's a new series called revenge of the Taliban. This could be available very soon. If you want to be the first person to know me about the first people to know when and how to get this groundbreaking series Rosalie that I feel very passionate about the ridge again be a 90 minute filter probably will be later on. Still down the line with these interviews is 20 3040 minute long interviews were so intense it were filled with so much good content without written release these as full as we can and you be able to get as much of this content to you and be able to share with your friend.

So it's something that you be coming out very soon be out of the release details exactly yet, but it really helps us out. Good health.

Unlike gauge how release will bring to do, but it gives you first and exclusive access to what you need to go to ACLJ.org/Taliban DA L IBAN Taliban fill out the basic form and you will be amongst the first to know anything goes on we can with our new series revenge of the Taliban that I host and we have some excellent, excellent.

Guess who are on obvious you will hear from people who use the other show all the time like my dad Jay Sekulow Jordan secular will hear from by Pompeo. You will hear from Rick Grenell. You also hear from former Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft, Nikki Haley from Sen. Langford from Tulsa Gabbert we had on that one last interviews we conducted with Wes Smith as well, and many others were playing clubs of that coming up here in the next few segments. If you want to see what that's gonna look like there really were amazing interviews. I think you can enjoy them taking a lot information minimart breaking bill make you cry video mobile will get jammed up and and upset like a lie there many times you have these interviews feeling pretty down to play a lot of these clips is good.

You know the real information that we have people get from both sides of the aisle with Isaac Tulsa Gabbert, whether that is a by Pompeo so and then we have people who historically can look back 20 years, like a John Ashcroft so really interesting piece of the will. We are putting together right now as we speak and you see some clips from that in the next few segments 09 Skinner open at 1-800-684-3110 order discuss get well there was this US delegation that met with the Taliban will get into why they were doing that, rather than accept. That's right, they didn't meet in Doha Cutter over the weekend, though, and there were some very specific agenda items on their agenda that they wanted to talk about.

We got a readout from the State Department on that and some other information that we can give our analysis on we come back from the break that we get back again restart plates of those clips also give some analysis of that but right now were in break, you want to know the first to know how to get this brand-new series revenge of the Taliban Avenue to go to ACLJ.org/Taliban when you do that.

This is simple but in your name, email address, click, click submit. The will notify you as soon as those details are there soon as we have ACLJ.org/Taliban be the first to know when our exclusive new series premier challenges facing Americans as time went on, no freedom sword constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice for decades. ACLJ on the front lines protecting your freedoms defending your rights in court in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success.

But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms and then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you Knox well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about our life changing become a member today ACLJ only one.

A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission life will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ casings were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the worship ministry and what Obama care means to the prone life in many ways your membership is powering the right question for copy mission life today online/cellulosic your phone calls. 100 684 31 to the goodwill order discuss that Alisa clips and placing new clips from our brand-new series of it to the Taliban.

We also are to discuss what happened over the weekend, which allow you probably didn't seek it's not a silly making your mainstream news headlines this is that US delegation met with the Taliban and their first high-level talks since our pull out of Afghanistan. This was to try to get having those meetings with diplomatic meetings like that hold up. Right. Be good to make sure Al Qaeda stays out, you're going to stick to what we agreed upon.

But it does unsettle the nerves well in one thing that kind of unsettle our nerves. As you said back during the chaos in in Kabul was the way they kept referring to the Taliban and is businesslike at and use these these descriptors that were positive towards the Taliban a terrorist group but in net prices, readout of the meetings that Took Pl., Saturday and Sunday and this is a spokesperson for the US State Department.

He said the discussions were candid and professional with the US delegation reiterating that the Taliban will be judged on its actions. Not only its words. Well, one it its cringe worthy to hear them again say candid and professional when talking about their talks with the towel band but also there be judged by their actions not only their words were already seeing a return to the dark ages of Afghanistan, where women are oppressed minorities are oppressed. Religious minorities are oppressed, and being killed for their faith or their gender or their their race. This is something that is already reverted back to buy the Taliban in all, just the last month and yet their single be judged on their actions not only their words will I think that we can start making judgments now about how Taliban 2.0 is going to unfold yet either say that this meeting is about granting recognition or confirming legitimacy, but we all know the legitimacy is already bid to convert. I think that yes made on the global stage and all technical senses have all the eyes and teased and crossed her eyes and died to cross no. But do I think that we have. We decidedly said that it essentially the way that we've created the told one of the questions we will be producing the series a lot time to ask for similar questions because again we originally started making. It was going to be a euro 80 minute 90 minute feature-length documentary shield please. I asked similar questions because you will build, edit, back and forth all the questions I often ask which is how can you as a US representative as a former attorney general or as you will. Whoever it was here the name the Taliban in here treated with respect, something that is very disheartening. Very upsetting to a lot of people who grew up with and get most of my adult life was spent with the Taliban as a terrorist regime. Now the last 90 days, 60 days it's become a legitimate government. According to our administration and officials is a pretty rough rough time with that we produce this news new series and am very proud as there is a RT Bennett did a wonderful job when it was will ranging a lot of the interviews are on our production. This would allow the always virtually we did this week via Skype and shot really cool. Have some clips here soon. We have clips ready yeah one of things I think we could jump into his baby that specifically which is how the Taliban has gained some respects, you'll see me ask a question you'll see it from a guest so they will start with represent waltz, that's right, Congressman Walter Lorenz and we have the clip ready will go ahead and play it. But you know someone who was a he's the first Green Beret elected to Congress and so it say he has both the spirits is a veteran of Afghanistan, and now a member yet he was involved in likable Bergdahl Berg allegedly he represents an area of Florida. It's like the Daytona area of Florida. He is an intelligent guy pricing about Fox. I will say this. Looking at this list of people you want to know who to be the next generation of the conservative party pretty much this entire lineup of people trusted the people who are absent some graphs cross those guys are our legacy pieces at this point there so many that have really showed themselves in this series so if you want to see was going to pry your Who's Who in the next election cycle are like five election cycles.

I think a lot of them are to be people that I interviewed. I really do. These people are intelligent smart. Our understanding are not our nuclear nuanced. You know what had when I was a trick. No one had the same answers during the years of the same questions but completely different versions of this spectrum. Let's start though with what's take a look not crazy to you and it is to make a someone who and I was 15 when 9/11 happened. 35 now living pretty much my whole life with with the towel abandons as a term of a terrorist organization and now were hearing that this is the diplomatic Taliban were hearing you know having a relationship with them. It's rolling off people mount often times, like any other government and it's really shocking to someone who was there and experience it was in Afghanistan. I can't imagine that you hear that and can just take that lightly, because most of us here and it shocking every time someone says it with authority listed change. The only thing that's changed is they have tuned up their propaganda program and and they're dealing yet and they're dealing with the same administration know that they got there five top traffic stop Guantánamo for Bergdahl right but let me tell you something I've seen principles of schools girl schools run out of town and their families murdered when they tried make a stand. I've seen a girl schools machine with the girl still in the school when my interpreters was stopped at Italian checkpoint and had documentation on data component beheaded him along with members of his family to send a message. We had my last for a seven-year-old boy was hung because he had dollar bills on Monday hung up and shoved it in his mouth. I know this is all harsh and graphic, but this is these are brutal brutal Islamic extremist dogs and we now not only handed them the powers of the state with a central bank and currently see in a functioning airport to send terrorists anywhere around the world, but we also does the party just off the most is allow billions of dollars in American equipment. Our own equipment to fall into their hands, that future American soldiers are going to have to are going to have to fight with what we have to go back to deal with this problem. It's it's taken it's a consequence, it's unforgivable again.

So that is just a small clip thousands of Congressman Mike waltz are from Florida who did was well said the first Green Beret to serve in in Congress very that interviewed that's just two minutes of what was probably half-hour discussion about the details economically served Afghanistan was there. We lobby blue servant gifted family served in Afghanistan were part of the war on terror. General others in Iraq or in other parts of the world. Again, that's just two minutes of what is probably a 45 hour special, obsolete, separated and episodically and they'll be edited down later on if you want to be when the first people to get and receive figure out how to get revenge of the Taliban are new series. Very simple. We set this up today so those who are watching the dedicated few who are who are so intensely paying attention to what's going on in the world. I was a few to keep an audience who are really care about what's happening even with the news media shifts. We encourage you good ACLJ.org/Alabama they'll take you to the revenge of the Taliban/page is a simple form first name last name email address it coat you will be the first to know with this series is coming and will be released and how to get and I think that clip that we play from Congressman Walter was really important to play today and to kind of lead this discussion because, as were hearing that the US delegation is meeting with the towel abandoned Ohio met with them over Saturday and Sunday of this weekend and and to hear the things that they're talking about. Like Reuters points out that they it's a top priority to hold the Taliban to its commitment that it will not allow Afghanistan to again become a hotbed for Al Qaeda or other extremists will other extremists could be the Taliban it is already now a hotbed for terrorism because the Taliban controls the territory in the country so no matter what, they can't leave you behind that of terror that settled is his terrorist regime. We also talked about the future of Al Qaeda, future of terrorism worldwide.

It's only got into Whittlesey Gabbert, who we better communication with about a month knowing that we are getting building at this interview with her and someone from the other side. Not traditionally a straight up conservative person obsessively who I can serve as the respect she was military personnel lost it and it was during this time she was active in Africa on a mission against Al Qaeda.

We discussed that will play clip from that we get back is it's a pretty aggressive thing to think about that. There's all these missions already happening. It's not just about Afghanistan.

Afghanistan is a small piece to the global puzzle that still is this war on terror. Whether you want to label it or not, whether they can engrave 2021 into the Iwo Jima statue with all the wards with all the wars in it doesn't matter because this is an ongoing battle and ongoing discussion again.

We can't wait for you to see this new special revenge of the Taliban. Multi-part episodic interview series to be available to our audience.

First, what you can do is go to ACLJ.org/Delavan fill out that simple form will be the first person to know it's coming very soon.

That's are not months down the road we talk about a couple weeks. You get to be able to see this series in its entirety is really an amazing piece, and I look forward to hearing all of your responses to set people go different direction.

Some people always it's nice of you, but we should go about war submitted 10 years ago we know its history about this is, everyone has an opinion. These are all senior-level people with incredible knowledge that I can't wait for you to see again the today show J.org/Delavan if you've a phone call gives call 1-800-684-3110 only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally and publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists.

The ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right to life question for mission life today online ACLJ/challenges facing Americans for substantial time and are now free to sort constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice for decades now ACLJ on the frontlines injecting your freedoms defending your rights in court in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do our work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you, are not well this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing, member today ACLJ I were discussing the fact of just everything we think the Afghanistan topic is wrapped up and we wrapped up this documentary series production was couple days ago.

Every time we think there's not a news item there is that is that the US delegation met with the child and for the first time to discuss keeping Al Qaeda at bay.

You make sure that you're not really running your key. Make sure you keep your checks and balances ago and in wooded terms to conjure you not running terrorist regime.

Delavan ridiculous thing to say. We all know that courtship to keep up these yet this level of heirs and talks ridiculous but once about Al Qaeda for lot about it. Well it's a bigoted discussion point for a lot of people.

Whether the Al Qaeda is growing. Whether it's rising whether it's something that it is happening in Afghanistan. We also need to look beyond Afghanistan. I think that's a big one would last interview we did. I was Whittlesey Gabbert again as he said you knew her baby for the Presidential debates of 2020, may be newer and is many different things that she is a soldier currently active serving and the last month or so. Plus she has been in the horn of Africa on a mission against the debt gets kind so we need to remember that that's all happening.

We have a great clip from her and I think that we should go to yoga in a row this now. This is with former Congresswoman Tulsa Gabbard of Hawaii, but for you it we found out just a few weeks ago you were actually in in Africa serving a mission essential against Al Qaeda and we we heard about Al Qaeda and Al Qaeda and this through this last month. As for Afghanistan, we have to worry about them anymore. That's one of the reasons we left no problem. I but their name got away.

Maybe they were there currently maybe not occupying Afghanistan. We don't know exactly the situation, but what should we know about those terror threats that are worldwide of someone who was on the ground. Dealing with this days ago. What we need to know is is the truth which is that this Islamist jihadist threat that is posed to us. The American people are country coming from terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS there very much alive and well and thriving. You know this is something we need to keep an eye on in Afghanistan and be prepared to go in very quickly and immediately to try to eliminate these groups. Should they start to grow should they start to get a stronghold there.

We also need to understand the truth and the reality that this is not just an issue related to Afghanistan. I think that's important to point out because you hear a lot of talking heads on TV talking solely about Afghanistan as it relates to this terrace jihadist threat, but in reality we got a look at how and where this threat is posed to us around the world as you said II just got back from an active-duty tour and a deployment to the horn of Africa, and we see how these Islamist terrorist groups and their affiliated groups. I'll shut Bob in Somalia we see other groups in west Africa in countries like Mali, Niger, and Chad and others who are who are very strong, who are growing and who are very active and whose goal is to establish an Islamic caliphate, Islamic governance fueled by this Islamist ideology. Islamist ideology is distinct and different, not the same as the religion of Islam.

But if this political Islamist ideology that's fueling these jihadist groups that really does pose a great threat and and also is the thing I want to point out is the thing that really has never been challenged by state in order to defeat this jihadist that we have to defeat them militarily and ideologically, and there really has never been an effort on ideological front to defeat this threat was Tulsa Gabbard, someone who we had the pleasure to speak to a further extended. About Natalie, your time well in Africa. Recently but even that her last her time serving in the war on terror.

What inspired her to be there. Obviously a lot of it all goes back to 9/11, but that shows that this threat is still there and it still happening.

It's right and we started production on this we we started talking about it, really when we were hearing that things were probably not going to go smoothly in Afghanistan we should have talks and and you were like.

Should we start production or looking to production on piece that we don't know what the ending is to be yet because we were watching it start to unfold, but we need to document this and we need to understand mistakes, successes and and what the future looks like, and so we started reaching out to these people and Congresswoman Gabbard with someone who we wanted to get her insight because she is a very nuanced view that was not necessarily the same as a lot of the other panelist a lot of the way that was very traditional like you as a documentarian you have to ask all the questions the dig a little deeper and sometimes get the long answers because people are really silly news on Fox news are used to giving a 12 second answer. That's a lot of interested it. I want the two minute answer the free minutes or give me that the meat of it. That's a lot people did great at that. She was one of them that we wanted to reach out to early as you Richard because Natalie is she nuanced, but technically come from the other side of the aisle again ran against Pres. Trump ran for the Democratic nomination. Some of these interviews felt very political person probably did not hers was all about military engagement and what let us hear and what we can do right in and like you'd brought up before we reached out to her got a positive response like yes this is this is a very important topic. I would love to be a part of it and have my voice is a part of this and then it kind of just went radio silent for about a month and in and it wasn't like a a is something they're like oh, did we do anything wrong or if it was just like I were just not getting response about when we can schedule it. Then we see her post on Instagram that she had been deployed right because she's in the Army reserves to Africa on a mission with US special forces, and so had to go radio silent because they were combating an Al Qaeda operation in in Africa at the time so just the ability to have these voices at a time when everything was unfolding and people are still actively fighting is is really quite incredible. I wanted to show you a little bit of both sides of this wanted to hear discussion boards obsolete. We invite a lot of people from the other side of fence they did not say yes to do this we know she's brave enough to say yes you can give her. Give her props for that. A lot of people are commenting. I'm not so sure how I feel because their shelves ran against Pres. Trump wanted to make sure we had a broad spectrum of people giving a lot of different nuanced answers. I think that is the future of politics we would discuss that as well.

Keep going.

There's a lot more to cover, and there's a lot more content that happened during this documentary series that we get a producing plasma. This will set a curious watch on social media Facebook or YouTube comment, let me know, so the beginning of each interview just for our own internal purposes, I would say where we were so big they recorded it on September 20 I would say it's September 20 and we are here with you know whoever guest because I wanted only for editors and for our team to know but maybe possibly for you to know where we were asked things were unfolding some of these were done very early September and some were done up until three days ago I'm missing a lot of change. So would you like to know that ever finishing the edits.

Maybe you could tell me whether you would like to know when I'm doing these interviews you I'm single they're not real time to not live where we were. We do a flashback show.

You may be a montage. Here's where things were when we did this interview because so much has changed last two months. Some curious but that the comments I love to hear your thoughts on the way we roll this out a limited that's part of the reasons I go to our website go to ACLJ.org/tell Amanda sign up all gauge interest to see how many of you are interested in this extensive longform series, you learn a lot.

Very irritated, very interesting. I learned a lot.

Look, I'm probably like a lot of you listening right now I highly say you where my brother my dad in the legal expert, and I want you the one asking the questions because in general generally not the smart one here. I want to hear from the people of the experts and I do that job by interviewing the talking to be discussing the sound asking the important questions that you want to know so curious about thoughts. But while you're at a go to ACLJ.org/tell a man sign up first to know. With this brand-new series incredible team of ACLJ is coming right back with more secular ACLJ is been on the frontline protecting your freedom is defending your rights in court in Congress and in the public arena.

The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side. If you're already a member thanking God's well this is the perfect time to stand with us, ACLJ.org, where you can learn more about our life-changing work, member today ACLJ keeping you informed anything. Now this is now your homes Logan Sekulow secular. We are discussing not only the breaking news coming on the weekend which is the US delegation met with the Taliban and for the first time to discuss making sure that they were this diplomatic talks. They stayed on what they were supposed to be doing in terms of handling terrorism as well. So this is the Taliban talking to the Taliban about how they're going to handle future terrorism, so let that sink in for a minute.

Obviously we have a lot of our top names who you know from the show you've known for the last however many years including your work rebels like Pompeo, you had Wes Smith, my dad, my brother let's go to bike pump failed to give my brand-new series of your paper. Just watching right now if you just to did a lot of you are.

We have a brand new series documentary interview series that is going to available very soon is called revenge of the Taliban. We produce to get real time. Last month is all this has unfold. If you want to be the first person to know how to get this series very simple, as I will this specifically for you guys who are watching or dedicated the show each day go to ACLJ.org/Balaban do that.

Philip simple form will email you as soon as we have release details that talk about talking with the Taliban and negotiating with the Taliban. Let's slip over to your former secretary state might Pompeo see what he has to say about that. Get this from her new series take less. I can't help but also look to the current Secretary of State who is who stated we have shifted to a diplomatic chapter with the Taliban. Do you think that that you set down with them.

You've met him think that's a feasible goal that having a diplomatic relationship. It sounds crazy coming out of my mouth as a minute the last 20 years has heard the Taliban as a terrorist organization. About 20 years now like we don't have a diplomatic relationship with them. It's hard for Americans hard for me to even fathom, but you've been there you you met with them is that is that a goal now this is still the same Taliban that harbored Osama bin Laden and caused all kinds of challenges for the United States of America.

They are still playing footsie with Al Qaeda that they may not turned a new leaf.

This is not going to be there tonight and see Thomas Jefferson sitting across the table from a rate any mere replica of that other thing they understood was our thing they understood was the resolve of someone to push back against them. That was the only thing that could shape the behavior was in some kind word or some to Barstow issued to them. I think that's a really important clip to play as we hear about the US delegation meeting with the Taliban over the weekend because the trump administration did meet with the Taliban and to get concessions from the Taliban assurances before we withdrew and that's something the Biden administration criticized Pres. Trump and Sec. Pompeo for doing what they were doing the right time after you pull out and you give up all of the leverage all of the military machinery. All of the security there and you leave Americans behind, then your negotiating from a position of weakness and that's what were seeing from the Biden administration. Unlike what Secretary of State Pompeo did was trying to negotiate from a position of strength so that we can leave in a better position then we are in now, which is in a very dire position.

Yeah, they'll just say well you were negotiating now because I hear we have all of this financial things we could impact them with you know not give the billions and trillions of dollars, we don't do that. The first place. Now that seem like good luck plan that we should be funding the Taliban as we know that that's maybe historically something we've done in the past, but you know we discussed that in this new series revenge of the Taliban. The rise of ISIS but that my dad wrote this is the revenge of the Taliban, not too far off because we look at what's happening there with ISIS and ISIS K Balaban 2.0 again a bunch of things all under budget same the same problem all under a bunch of titles we get bogged down without the media.

We discussed that as well. We discussed the origins we go through all of it so you are informed and engaged as we say here is important. Have all this information get this 90 minute movie. Throw out you guys we still gotta do that but these interviews were so intense was so numerous.

We thought we need to give people broad spectrum of what is going on this fight against terrorist worldwide for doing that. The new series revenge of Taliban be the first to know when it's coming. The next few weeks. I need to do is good ACLJ.org/Taliban side will drive back with more secular is currently doing about 100 684 30 when temptation calls challenges facing Americans are substantial time and are now free to sort constitutional rights are under attack more important than ever to stay with the American Center for Law and Justice for decades now ACLJ on the front lines projecting your freedoms defending your rights and courts in Congress and in the public arena and we have an exceptional track record of success. But here's the bottom line we could not do more work without your support, we remain committed to protecting your religious and constitutional freedoms and then remains our top priority, especially now during these challenging times. The American Center for Law and Justice is on your side, you're already a member. Thank you.

Well, this is the perfect time to stand with us ACLJ.org where you can learn more about her life changing become a member today ACLJ only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive.

And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn cold dishes like will show you how you are personally and publication includes all major ACLJ Jesus were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the and what Obama care means to discover the many ways your membership is powering the right question for mission life today online ACLJ/684 31 civil targets and calls up about what's going on in Afghanistan of CR meetings with the Taliban in a brand-new series revenge of the Taliban were to be coming very soon your show you a sneak preview party. Should you clips you want to go back and watch them from these extensive interviews with people like the volute like Delta Garrett Ebola -like represented vaults we've gone through a lot of great content might Pompeo brick Eagle replace more so one person we had on had the pleasure to talk to was Nikki Haley and one of the questions I ask a lot of these guest is how do we earn back the respect of not only the people of our country, but of our allies who talk a lot about our adversaries. China, Russia these big picture ideas. We do talk about a lot of the series. What I'll ask one of UK reference.

We discussed that. Let's hear from Nikki Haley, let's talk about that our allies who have relied on the US for a lot of people would say maybe too much will rely on the US for what they they need are now seeing the imagery are seeing the verbiage coming out of the Presidents mouth and and there is a deep concern. It seems from even not adversaries, but from our allies that the United States may not be the future strong voice that it's been and think about that. You have to. I'm serious amazing that when I was at the United Nations. No one wanted to meet unless the US was in the room and Manny NATO is having meetings and they don't even think US needs to be in a room. That's how far we've fallen back how dangerous it got and there's a lot of repairs that need to be made here and I know Biden came and sat at the landing glasses back where backward diplomacy were back at all that countries don't want the niceties. That's not what they're talking and want to know you're going to have their back and want to know that you lead in making holiday don't want to wonder what you're thinking.

That day when you wake up in the morning. I think that you need see it where Frank is trying to tell me they need to become less dependent on the US, not less dependent on China and less dependent on the US which is shocking. The idea that the US is now asking Russia for help in dealing with Afghanistan, which is I'm thinkable. And the idea that we are not. We have no plans on how were going to go encounter care and not once did Biden say we should not acknowledge the Taliban and as the head of the Afghanistan government and that was a prime opportunity for the US to lead the charge that we cannot right now is that Caliban can't get a key in any way recognize that and he nest the mark on Nikki Haley for a master so you know her from all of her time in South Carolina is involved in the trump administration so that we discuss also is her family served in Afghanistan. Her husband, it was a very intense conversation will say that with Nikki Haley use of these I have a very educational tone, but hers got very passionate, very intense, because it impacted her directly. Right.

And as you mentioned, there are many interviews here that are very personal, that we get the policy they are all experts in one way or another about the things were talking about, but also a lot of them had so many personal angles to it and the way that a lot of these people they've they've grown up during their careers in government and have all been in the shadow of 9/11, so to speak where a lot of the policy decisions and a lot of what formed them are that attack on 9/11 and on the United States from Al Qaeda and how this entire war was in the backdrop of their public service and so it was an important thing for us to get those personal side stories out as well and I think you do that very effectively with many of these guests and so it's not just a documentary with talking heads about this is what we should have done or shouldn't of done it really does hit in a different way because as were watching it unfold. There also having this emotive response to what they're saying as well as the reasons when we decide to make. This is known because right now because I don't want this to be so they were talking about two years ago I remember back in 2021. We got out after instant no of these interviews are done days after we interview Carla Smith before the show every week for many years now. We'll go into a lot of detail with him is he essentially created the dignified transfer the where the fall in the bodies of the fallen are brought to Dover transferred to their families as a whole. That whole ceremony we saw.

He created that was his concept to Haiti in the team lead that under Pres. Obama led that because it originally was not something that was of that family went to the public. Went to I and he said I think that the public is to be here and he said to Col. Smith as well as a team said develop this. We discussed that a lot you do that every day. This wasn't something that we just see one seat you out every time the tub like this big tragedy happens 13 people you honestly died.

This is so that he had to deal with each day. He worked there as he developed this really interesting perspective. Yeah, and in May we should just go to that that's not this I will give Alberta go to West Smith for the show many times he talked about the source should have wrap up teacher. I wrapped up each interview asking about the feelings of the families of the fallen or of people who who served in Afghanistan who feel like maybe they served and may, as we saw it all come crumbling down here. His answer to that question. Get the scurrilous Matthew from here countless times was take a listen. A lot of people who have family in the military, specifically ones that those that lose their life or critically injured or have major complications, even mentally. From this they do question whether it was worth it. Whether it was worth their family member to do and I know that W question. I'm sure that you got asked all the time which you did, my son, daughter, brother, sister die in vain.

Was this worth it at the end of the day for those who were just recently had their dignified transfer and for those previously involved in the entire war in Afghanistan say 20 years feels like 20 years got unraveled in the last three days. Do you feel what would be your statement to those people when they would come to you. What's the response you can give to someone who is saying is my child die for good reason.

Yeah and I got asked that a lot during my 3+ years at Dublin Air Force Base and and officials, and even those of us who just have friends have been asked that same question recently did my loved one dime bag in my answer to that is always the same that any time you stand up to evil, and you find it.

It's never-ending politicians and sometimes generals and admirals make mistakes, but that we have an all volunteer military. All of us who have served for the last 34 years we raised our right hand and we volunteered to serve and so the military, by design. We follow orders and as a professional organization and so die in the service like that every person in the military takes a sacred oath, they raise the right hand and they take an oath lived by that oath and by that honor system and if you die honoring your valves. You have not died in vain and in the case of the global war on terror. None of these people who have died habit have died in vain and I and I was very quick to tell the families that was just a small clip of roughly 40 minute interview we did with Col. West method and highly emotional experience to discuss all of this with him. I think you will usually look at the list of names UFC had the once will pop out with it.

Nikki Haley, or Mike Pompeo or David Tulsa Gabbard right in the center is a congressman eligible he had a lot but I was so happy that we were able to have a really deep discussion with Wes because he someone who you hear all the time he made the while wisest person even audition what what what is a part to play in the world.

When you hear this, there'll be no question you if you give you perspective on his career that you'll never be the same unit received the same way because of the stuff that he not only created but had to deal with on a daily basis for so many years as a chaplain and as you get the creator essentially of the dignified transfer to do that each and every day very intense interview I won that even my preparation did not go the way I thought it would got which happens you when you make movies you make series you you want to be able to pivot with it. When interview takes you to a different place. They did that what is probably the most emotional of one we had filled with a lot of a lot of tears a lot of sadness that we did that interview. I believe that you believe the dignified transcript on a Saturday or Sunday. We did it immediately the next mornings of Monday morning, when hurt was to discuss what that experience was like after we all watched it and sort of horror throughout that entire experience to give you what you forget what that felt like to be well and also it's a testament to the robustness of the team that is here. Also I learned a lot.

I did by doing these interviews. One was from our guest center James Langford of Oklahoma who not only is the center is also a member of the Homeland security committee. So honestly had a lot to say about that.

We talked about going to play this we all watch those images of the thousands and thousands of people trying to flee the airport.

Thousands were getting on the airplane to come to America to try to leave what they knew was going to be a terrorist regime in their country after 20 years of relative freedom Center, life is one of those people who stood up and said you know what Oklahoma will take those refugees only some of those refugees were happy doing what a lot of Republicans did not and I look at the heart of it go well.

As someone who is a Christian believer there. You sure that he be vetted. Make sure these people are who they say they are but I hope that a lot of us can agree that we should be welcoming a lot of them into our country as they seek refuge beyond the terrorist regime that look could say whatever we want. Sadly, we were part of the default. Here, so let's hear from James Langford. The Afghan people, whether it be the translators or our people to follow inside Americans were kind of metaphorically front of the bus from Vita ministration as are people who who abandon ship ran away quickly.

That's the opposite of what I received in these interviews I conducted over the last few weeks. It seem like very compassionate people, very sweet people and we as Americans are compassionate people on the conservative often get labeled in a way that I don't really appreciate as we can all look to that though seems that happened a month ago and see the horrors that they were and say how can we help what we do.

I know you are one of the people who discussed taking in refugees in Oklahoma somewhat controversial thing, but not really, you know, I think for you it becomes a very loud minority online that people think represents conservatives or Republicans think these are not compassionate people. What up I want to know the washer decision-making to come to that conclusion could look at some of the states and some other people and in your party have taken an opposite approach first taken to my mind was that all these different veterans of the war in Afghanistan. They came to me and said these are folks that I know they fought alongside me. I know damn I know their families. These are folks that later life and live your freedom loving people. These are the folks that are fighting against the Taliban. These are terrorists. These are the exact type of people that we want to advance in it. We want to be able to support and so how I came to that decision was talking to somebody. Veterans of the war in Afghanistan and what they were saying about those individuals. Now they want them to be able to get out. So that's the first part, the same parties in Oklahoma, we took in a lot of the bees 48 years ago when they were fleeing during that time. Those are thriving members of our community.

At this point very adjacent lots of Vietnamese churches in Oklahoma with lots of committees that engage in business people all kinds of thoughts.

We did this is a state five decades ago with the Vietnamese.

We will do this again with Afghans that are coming into our country in Oklahoma will probably have about 1800 2000 Afghans that will move into Oklahoma should be vetted individuals that should be folks that work alongside of our military works alongside of her State Department just randomly grab the people that stand to be able to move in Oklahoma. They need to be fully vetted and the process mostly spoke that are moving this direction are exactly that those that are not fully vetted.

They don't need to come to the United States. Also, we know they are and what their background is now the economy will clear.

That says a lot about you though says a lot about the state of Oklahoma.

The gas would support this kind of move. In general, I think that it's the Christian thing to do is someone who I know is that a person of faith.

It is important to to disconnect. Maybe you partisan politics actually look at the heart of it again. I was sitting Langford James Langford from Oklahoma. Another one of our incredible guests on the brand-new series revenge of the Taliban coming very soon to be the first to know about how to get that ACLJ.org/tell Ben fill out a very simple form will notify you as soon as there is more information you'll know first before anybody and it is an in-depth incredible experience. I hope you enjoy as much as you can.

II hope it like a fire for some of you and what we can do and what we can do in the future. We discussed all that to be the future that we did also look to the past.

We look to 20 years ago to September 11 to the creation of the war on terror and what people was very deeply involved witches Atty. Gen. John Ashcroft somewhat controversial figure. Some people guy who is deeply involved in that her original decision to start the war on terror to start the war in Afghanistan and Iraq and again we provided a a myriad of different points of view to some people were very much for the war on on terror very much for the war against Afghanistan and some who were not supportive of the war in Iraq and the future that came out of it. So again I wanted to give you guys a multilayered approach. So, here is John Ashcroft, former Atty. Gen. of the United States your someone was there. Day one from the world to Bonne Terre, knowing the ending and the knowing that we did up 20 years of a lot of good that happened, but knowing the ending. Do believe that this decision with redfish and make to get involved in Afghanistan yeah I do I you know I think you have to look at the 20 years of relative calm in the United States and in a variety of other settings that came from the displacement of the terrorist agenda in Afghanistan that was it was the maintenance of the piece. It was fighting them there instead of fighting them here and I think we would always hope that we could eventually have the long term peace but we would also say that you know we gotta be grateful for what we avoided in terms of the terrorist activity, and I think so. What I'm saying is the last 20 years were pretty successful in repressing terrorist activity, and you look at a variety of other terrorist groups that sought to assemble resources and gain momentum. There they were. They were either taken out or severely diminished in their capacity during the 20 year period and that's valuable. I don't know that you do anything that has infinity. Infinity or forever involved but 20 years is something to be grateful for and I think it's it Mark some success and that although was a collapse is is undermines the idea of the success which had been attained and that is just one of just a short clip. These extensive interviews, like we've had. We played with multiple rehab begun to recruit now my dad, my brother, so many great guest to see if you did, Jordan's very beginning to show you like Nikki Haley, like I represent of Walt.
