Enjoy it, share it, but most of all, thank you for listening and for choosing The Truth Podcast Network. This is the Truth Network is one welcome to another episode Q&A with welcome back to another another episode, another segment of Q&A with co-op. That's right questions and answers were. I flip the table well I don't know.

Anyway, this is where you get the opportunity to ask me questions and typically these are not rehearsed. They're not submitted there just spontaneous questions and so I have no idea what you might ask.

Hey, if you'd like to get a personal phone call from the devil's nightmare. While the Russian name or not, get a cool gentle and then hey submit your questions to call off.net go to my website co-op.net submit your questions or least I request that you like to be on the Q&A show and you get a personal phone call from me and will talk and answer your questions with me today.

Though in studio. I have a pastor man of God Cory Oliver in the studio with me today Cory, welcome to the Q&A with cola. Oh, I appreciate you have me Nikita.

Well it's great to have you here.

Great to have you in studio.

A lot of times you just set make a personal phone call to somebody but it's a lot of fun to to have a mean studio and be able to look guide you know that individual and so while here you are, but I said pastor Cory Oliver. So tell tell her listeners just real quick.

To me, what were you pastor, I know you got family told the court.

Thank you. I'm Cory Oliver save sanctified, full of the Holy Spirit and God is no respecter of any man, woman and child. But he loves us and he wants to fill us with his presence. If we say yes to his will and his way. Nikita Asser Barnes Chapel just outside of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Larry. I have North Carolina North Carolina listeners all over the world. Okay yeah well the Carolina blue Chapel Hill and yeah have a beautiful bride named Vera and two adult sons Brandon 24 recently married to Christina and my youngest son Jaden 20 years old. Not married, single, currently yeah I know they delivered Chapel Hill where were my son is in the Air Force Brandon and he is there in Kansas and Jaden, the 20-year-old youngest is on Hatteras Island in Buxton, North Carolina, was he doing there.

He lives on the island and he works in while enjoying island life. Yeah, that was one of my former appointment years ago I serve Hatteras Island for a good number of years out there on the cake is you out there in ministry yeah yeah you remind me of my daughter Kendra and her husband Brandon who are suffering for Jesus out in Maui Hawaii yeah like everybody should should be so rough right Maui, Hawaii, and Brandon, if you're listening. Thank you for serving our great nation so appreciate him serving in our military, and it is so very good so she got that the pastor and the good. Now we mad we met informal South Carolina a while back at a conference. They have this conference every year called vision vision conference. MorningStar ministries formal South Carolina pastor Rick Joyner. They would have in this conference. I do realize like 25, 30 years and understood always the tail end of the year in the ring in the New Year's celebrating worshiping Jesus hundreds and hundreds of people that that attend these vision conferences. I love Cory. The name of it vision because that fits right in with me like I'm the guy who likes to review take a few some time and review the past year, but then set time to look look at is seek the Lord for what set goals and what the next year might look like.

So the vision conference is perfect for me, Lord, give me a vision for the future. Let me learn from the this past euro the past years. Anyway, some but we met there. We just connected right, we just can't hit it off well, Nikita, and you model Christ and what you were just saying because Jesus remember unrolled the scrolls. Look at Isaiah from the past and said the spirit of the Lord is upon me, and that was helping to execute moving forward in vision is a preferred future.

Yeah, we look at the past week. Cannot make revisions and ask God where's the next step, even and yeah think that that's just the mantle of leadership you have in your life appreciated. I'm reminded of the Scripture one that comes from others. Number of them but one is is many of the plans in a man's heart at the Lord's purposes prevail right exactly like take away with that is were still supposed to plan right without a vision the people perish right. So were still supposed to plan. I think the key is, I think you jumping on this sermon on this.

I think the key is plan but submit those plans to the Lord that allow him I call it that. I said that allow him to call an audible of you needs to, or if he wants to say that I think were going to tweak that plan slightly and do this your on the right path you're on the right track but but let me tweak it in and steer you over this direction. We think absolutely I do believe that I also believe that he will let you work work diligently toward something and then just say okay stop and that was certainly a part of my past. Where's I was invested into a whole lot of leadership. And then you know almost in a short period of time everything was just shelved and I said God what about this he says it's okay.

Is there go back to where you know you first. You know, like first love but it wasn't that way and just you got this now is not going away but and I was kind of like shop because I like this is it know God is works a mosaic in our life that many many many dimensions. He just wants us to be yielded yielded what execute the yield in the world because was obedience right you said it allow you to do this and then he'll say stop all or here's what came to mind. If you're not yielded or submitted or walking in obedience that bad and you don't stop the word that came to my Cory was crash. Think yeah good. A perfect example of this.

Abraham you know all of that vision. All of that leadership to the very point where he finally gets the promise and then he takes them up to Mount Mark Mariah with Isaac and you know God will supply the sacrifice he had that dagger above his heart and that could have been finding God stop that plan and says okay I know that you're going to bow Isaac's mineable, but I was vulnerable to will somebody trust me, by fate, so you know there's all those mean so yeah a lot of dynamics at work.

There is exactly but I think I think the key operative words here with your move on and get to your question okay are words like submit which not real popular circles yield surrender obedience, though some real words right will just embrace those and journey. Not that it would be without its trials and tribulations. What journey will just be so much more fluid. Anyway, let's let's move on. Though this is the Q&A would call off a let's have some fun here and I give you the opportunity ask a couple three questions and here we go well away well and I know that you are a man of God in your deeply entrenched in the word so I wanted to kind of asked someone seriously that would kind of open up your listeners heart to hear you are because we hear your testimony, but then sometimes the wire might not we might not get there. I don't know. You indicated who is Jesus and why. Who is Jesus and why well for me.

He's everything I mean. Prior to my salvation prior to 17 October 1993 I lived for for me and I lived for myself for me and my motives were different. I mean, the reason why did everything was different. It was me myself and I is the focus, what's best for me and met me back in those BC days Cory would admit not only the Russian nightmare but a guy who would the perspective was it's my world you happen to be living at it. Cory if you don't like it. Don't let the door hit you on the rear end of the way that would've been my attitude, my my perspective and all of that shift did when I was introduced to the man Jesus in October 1993.

I knew this story I heard the story prior you know the man you know spikes driven through his hands and feet in the spirit through side, but the story never made the 18 inch trip right from my head down our but on that day he entered my heart pieces.

Open your heart to invite me and I'll come sup with an and I did that and life went from a life of success and un-fulfillment really a sense of fulfillment that morning from that decision.

Then everything changes, pinning credible journey of sanctification. Since then, and so he's my all in all he's my everything he's my rock, which my life is built on foundations and my goal is each and every day come the end of the day is is to leave a mark and not a steam wow that Ivana call myself a Christ follower that I want to do my absolute best to honor him today live a life that's worthy of him, honor him hopefully fully please in every way.

Thoughts, words, action which leads to bearing fruit in every good work and then rolling maturing in the knowledge of God, by the way, for those dictation one drink I sense he just quoted Colossians 1 like Scriptures. There is the short answer your question okay this is good to be a little bit more of a challenge.

Oh my gosh more than about what okay are you all right as you just that was, your starting place and then you're in my right and you did that you do have the right now. So what has been your darkest moment or pain since you been born again follower of Jesus Christ and how did you come through were overcome, and how did it change even if it did, just like 10 questions on that one before I got to take advantage of this will allow 10 while my biggest struggle and in I've been I've been trance.

I feel in other conversations and other Q&A's, and an end but my my biggest challenge bomb totally transparent and very vulnerable as is been in relationships with the opposite sex, and more specifically marriage been a real struggle for me and others not enough time on this.

She'll really do get to go into all of the details on that. I believe it takes to to dance you know you can tangle by yourself. But it's just not the same thing. You can cha-cha by yourself, but it's always more fun when you got a dance partner right or lease can be, but that's been very challenging relationships is bent and the Lord has has taught me through.

Really those failed relationships, all kind of where were my own shortcomings and how I contributed to that while at the same time even highlighting some of their shortcomings that contributed to that failed relationship. If I remember part two, three and four of your question, but because I think part of it was how to how did you overcome them. In the short answer is just the grace of God and not going the direction I chose to go so that even though that relationship may have failed. I didn't run from God.

I ran to God I didn't draw away from him.

I chose to draw closer to him. And so my relationship with him has become more and more and more and more important in terms of that intimacy that I have with him that if I'm never in another relationship again. I have that relationship to lean on and be content and okay with and if should he blessed smeared grace me with another relationship you at some point in the future that I walk into it yet with a different perspective than I've had from any other relationship in the past. I hope that answers yet yet have some wider variety of it was like yeah I mean it was it was very good. I mean, I kind of I'm trying to get my money's worth. You know what I'm saying. I hear you yeah but you know any any masterful illusion has to ponder and saline, think on these things that you okay let me see here where we're going to go because I have okay okay I'm just can ask you this one them because you are this is a nationally syndicated broadcast right but worldwide, worldwide, worldwide, can listen to this segment right okay fantastic will. This will help me help what do you sense God is saying today. I'm talking about 2022. Some people said were in a new error which I kind of see some once again use that same language of the season. But why do you think God is saying to us today and I think you know in all of what we see biblically history written historically today and what is the greatest need for the world and how can the church response the body of Christ, the greatest need is Jesus yet us is the simplest answer I can get that that's the greatest need Jesus. I made all all of the division and and and and thanks to people in ethnic groups in governments and and just everybody you know kind of fighting against each other, all at the very court the very foundation core reading it is is is Jesus that you have people word to just surrender, submit their life to him and then then follow the simple commandments that he gave when they asked him what's the greatest commandment to love the Lord your God with your heart, soul, mind and strength and the second is just as great love others and yourself at a very foundation of we just always just embraced that I think we see a very different world and eventually will I think is called heaven what exactly so we eventually will will actually get to experience that those Christ followers. Okay. And then the other part of your question, is it in and it's essentially it's a message that I am the Lord currently has me parked on that I am ministering to the body of Christ right and that is that is to to be ready to be watchful that even I'm reminded of Matthew is a Matthew 24 either 2413, or 2513 that that he said nobody knows the hour, the day you know, and when the sun is going to return. We know this from Scripture. He is return absolutely know that. He said he's coming back and for those out there with you. Believe it or not that that's that's really honestly irrelevant at this point he is coming back and if you don't believe it. You know, eternity is a long time to be wrong so painfully you might want to consider or reconsider that the Bible is truth absolute truth.

Okay so what I believe is that everything were seen going on is setting the stage, I like to use the word foreshadowing. I mean, you could go all the way back to the garden and see how it was a foreshadowing of the of the coming of the coming marriage supper of the Lamb started with that very first marriage and and and once Christ comes back for his bride, and we celebrate that at the marriage supper of the Lamb and spend eternity with Christ. So I believe you say and you don't get ready.

You'll be ready help others get ready setup to the church embraced that help others get ready so just be ready yourself already. What I like one of the five virgin virgins, wise virgins that's ready for his return is the evil of bridegroom is maybe delayed right now is to come like a thief in the night she better be ready. He set out on the comic when I come to be quickly Revelation chapter 20 2122 when I come to be quick just like blink of an eye, so you're not ready then you end up he I guess like one of the five foolish virgin virgins who were ready, who didn't have their lamps filled with oil and were just not ready for the bridegroom's return shall be ready stay ready and help others get ready that that would be my answer that I fantastic I got. I for one more loudly we can give you got one more but one is fine okay okay Mickey, let's do something fun, and emerges going to rapid a blast. These favorite color, black okay because man in black Johnny Cash, Phil loomed into a burning during the fire went down down down labels with a higher father. Look it up, get to art Bible story. Paul ma'am Bible story.
