This is Amy Thomas from the masculine journey podcast where we discover what it means to be a wholehearted man your chosen Truth Network podcast is starting in just seconds. Enjoy it, share it, but most of all, thank you for listening and for choosing The Truth Podcast Network. This is the Truth Network is one welcome to another episode Q&A with welcome back to Q&A with all questions and answers. This is where you get the opportunity to ask the questions and most the time or spontaneous.

I have no clue what you're going to ask and I'm okay with that. Sometimes people submit a but if you'd like to get a phone call from me just does submit some questions to go to go to my Just submit some questions and I love to give you a call in and talk with you and get you on the Q&A with cholos show, but today in studio so no phone call today. This is like in studio I got with me himself not to him. Welcome to the Q&A with cholos. Thank you. Great to have you here and Jim for for our listeners out there for those who might not be familiar with himself now. Your your marketplace guy know what I mean by that is you're out there grind it every day in the marketplace. She got a great name your business that I think has a great name victory restoration right victory restoration. What is victory restoration do outward, mainly to roofing and siding bread-and-butter and then of course we gave other staff as well. You know what the B train worker any kind of exterior were similar work so worker stonemasons now stonemason.

Okay, okay, we've got a different type. This is not a synthetic stone.

Some of it is, but doubt it is amazing stuff and not near as messy.

You remind me of it like like in the Bible like there are some guys who are gifted specifically like cut stone in building are just all kinds of different things. I know I wouldn't himself of that. The stuff I have is easy doing so as I could take you hundred 20 years.

The mayor I've always wanted to ignore hundred 20 years to build an ark power drill or kobold power does right and that he was persistent, though, was an hundred 20. I just read Genesis that just recently read read introduce myself to the specific details God gave him like Windows 18 inches from the top and three floors and pitch are in any way. Well, just as amazingly led by God, that's for sure.

I should be severe managerial brother in the faith you're out there in the marketplace lease ask you this in and by the way.

Victory restoration is is such a great name but I know what parallels your own life you've had victory in your life and how God storage you said many have heard us talk about man camping Lex Luther and I co-facilitate one with a great staff That you have attended in the past and it was life transforming life changing for you as an understatement. That's an understatement is there is some restoration that took place that can humbly gave you the opportunity. I know you have talked a number of times giving the opportunity really to let some things go just a release of things that hindered your own life to get a dark shadow was able to break that to find out really what what the Spirit is about and understand it and to just gain that knowledge and study before you know what read now I never read before and S feel bad as I write a novel about a degree but not a novel. I don't think I've ever read all 12 red one hold back and I said that to read it in the Philip to come to life and you don't always see people in your Bible like jurors and I'm like man at management read that book. Hereto it is your new exact, but you know it. To me it is a use about that you are in you know I'm thinking walking I get all this out of it but now I can. And there's not enough I'll order some constantly highlights its awesome to this expression comes to mind if I remember right up your Bibles falling apart is a pretty good chance you're not Bibles falling apart pretty good chance your the opposite is that if it's not in the little red flag might want to pay attention which which is actually just bought. It is brand-new just bought a 20 years ago still looks. That's a hold of his self. So how you miss you require Connie translate your faith out in the marketplace because I know you have a hearts desire just to be salt and light out there. Whether it's roofing somebody's house or putting on some siding but you've sure that what you like the sound salt and light to the world and it is still trying to figure some of that out. We have got a good friend of mine and John Curran love them to death. Nominees like a second father. Damien is really been there for me but doubt him one day and I said I don't want people to feel like I'm using God as a selling tool needed mobile my face to shine through work right and he said you know he said that my what you do, somebody's gonna somebody's gonna think something, don't let that worry you just pay attention what you doing with the got floor today when now the same unit of the principles that we write out for the company were biblical principles and modern ideas to do what I can and course I want to stay my own living out of bed be able to get back in Weatherby help gather needs to get man To get a war you know whether it's Vito. Volunteering her help in this organization out of that organization and let God. Tell me where I need but it Carolina Paris France was one of unison that was the purpose of okay is bill to get back to investing in others and is in and serving others, but a real, I want to share something with you that you hear that expression I love them to death.

We have expression all like a lot, and I actually learned this from from NFL Hall of Famer legendary Hall of Famer by the name of Deion Sanders is coaching down Jackson state diversity, MacCallum but I noticed he tweaked that slightly about every single person.

If he makes a comment like that. He says I love them to line that allows them to let you see him extra. I love them to death and in words matter. Write him like a guy yeah I love them to death for it so I'm sure that's why he probably does that.

So Deion, if you listen shot out to you man the Russian nightmare learn something from the superstar Hall of Famer Deion Sanders.

I love them to life. So anyway little thoughts little dad said as he played well. He played for several teams later in one a few rings along the way he did, but it is near as I can tell, and I've never met Deion personally yet face-to-face is much as I can tell me absolutely loves Jesus and he's not shy about it and apparently the school has no problem with it either because it's all over his walls and it's on all of the social media all yeah yeah check it out sometime man like he's God doddle in his office like he gives glory to God. I mean he's not shy about at all. That's awesome so yeah so I got a great platform and quick so you restoration of Victory restoration okay so well hey we were I've been kinda rambling on so my apologies but got his way here to tell you to let you ask me some questions and so let's transition here and I'll fire away with your first question, this might sound weird but what is the oddest of the hardest question you had answer. What's the hardest question range in question is one man to him. I don't know Goodman asked a lot of strange what did not. I have been asked some hard questions all see it again. This is spontaneous rights and try to rack my file know the Rolodex year.

The old school Rolodex or modern-day modern-day files on. I'm thinking I'm thinking maybe the hardest was just talking about maybe one of the one of the biggest struggles I've ever had in life what what what I use the biggest struggles in an and relationships, relationships, and more specifically, just to be totally transparent.

Marriage for me has been a passive been a real real struggle and not married takes two to tango, they say. Two for the dance, so it's not usually one or the other.

Although all one may be struggle more than the other but everyone comes into marriage interrelationships broken because we live in a fallen, broken world were also flawed are no perfect people and and so that's probably looking at and I was asked about my biggest struggle.

See marriage relationship.

My biggest and hardest question I can understand that. Sam, do you still talk the guys I used to wrestle with.

I do yeah Lex Luger course. Obviously were co-ministers, radical ministers facilitate ministry and camp about things together but I do other ministry together other things together autograph signing. So such things still communicate was staying the stinger the icon staying we communicate Tully Blanchard Magnum TA magnet dear got that time will get the Terry and I talk from time to time we we've done some podcasts together interviewed him as well as Tully and others such as Leo who was several years with WWE under under a number of different names over the years, Chad Leo Lodi, who was part of the Raven's flocks back and attitude era of the WCW in the late 90s Lodi. He and I still talk from time to time.

Cash well so those are some of the names that come to mind probably think of others later, but I never knew that about knew what that he was born in stinger is says sold out love absolute loves Jesus born again course, he's been with a W for a period of years now sewing into the younger guys there but the stinger Tully Blanchard is a minister of the gospel will begin in over 2000 prisons at this point is on staff at John Higgins church in San Antonio, and I Tully and Magnum TA's that is a believer of Christ follower in a believer any credits overcoming the broken neck. His car wreck that was supposed to leave him paralyzed from the neck down because God all the credit for that a powerful testimony of his own gosh Lodi again mentioned six see a lot of the guys I'm still in contact with our our Christ followers. That's not to say I don't talk or communicate with guys running or not but if I run into those guys is usually at autograph signings and those are things question a week we talking fellowship with each other but on a different level so simply, the day that you get saved now that you member your birthday idea depredation more important to me than my physical 17, October 1990 like some of sad you know I won the horrible guy you want a bag I've got. I didn't come you'll pardon my testimony part of my story is that I came on a drug addiction. I was an alcoholic or or or any of those types of devices is you know I wasn't you know. Looking back, I like to think a guy I try to treat people well and treat people good I'm going back to the days when we first met in the cutest Jim cutest fortress of fitness with years old, but by the way, I mean, that's a whole another story for another time, but you have such a powerful story is told. He walked in the gym.

It 335 pounds is an 18 year old. Now fast forward all these years later, that would be going, two 3235. We have which are not 330 right. I know you gave credit to the cutest Jim helping Terry transform you physical health, and then man camp transformed your spiritual health. More than anything. I feel fortunate to have that will part but like rambling on again. But in so I'm just grateful thankful everything that I did sizing touching, making think you make an impact on you know us so here's it's interesting how I wanted two things come to mind.

So I watched it just you know over the Christmas holidays. One of the most famous movie since it's a wonderful life with George, but you only have to watch that at Christmas time effective for those you listing out there if you've never watched it's a wonderful life. Go watch it. George Bailey you familiar with the show movie is what it illustrates is what you just said how many people's lives, you actually impact that you really don't even know those who've never seen that movie, it's a classic. I think it was May 1946 all-time classic what it illustrates not not to give the movie away too much, but there's a point in the movie where you cite. I wish I'd never been born in and like like the angels like okay is it in so he gets up, gets a glimpse at what life would've been like and in that world had he never been born and how different it was that just to find out later in the movie just how many people's lives. He impacted the Tim. Here's what it did for me. It reminded me just said will never really truthfully no tell until we get to heaven just how many people have touched and that by the way can be negatively or positively. By the way just how many people he touched our lives here, something else and reminded the book Pilgrim's progress next to it.

They made it into a a animated skin of a condensed version of the this the biggest booking governments over 400 pages, but your story reminds me of Pilgrim's progress. For those not familiar with that story. Want to watch the movie. Let me aspire to be people, but as he's went through life illustrated in their how he's got this folder on his back really skylight generally looks like a like a backpack. But the more he struggles in life. The bigger the backpack cut in others, the more he's way down until he finally surrendered his life to Jesus and the backpack to cycle roles office never heard of it. It's incredible book.

My dad always talked about a few years was his all-time favorite book next to the Bible Bible number one is bothersome to you can go rent the animated movie give you, it's incredible story written in the 1600s. While in prison for man was thrown in prison because he would stop preaching about Jesus and wrote this Pilgrim's's question. If you have another may not have. You know I can't think of another question right now. Okay, we should end on that note, then, but the pleasure to have you on this, so I'm glad again Q&A with rolloff Tim Seth not a real quick victory restorationexamples, North Carolina working people find out more about the restoration beginning to get a Facebook page, victory restoration website website still try to get some things on there but does call call victory got yellow and then out or they can call or text or phone number at 704606358 victory restoration to himself and got a incredible story, she thinks if you enjoyed the man up and/or man up God as well just one time to man up style.
