Well here we are again another Q&A with rolloff questions and answers where we flip it around were normally you know on the man up show. I typically asking all the questions and and the interviewee is providing all of the answers are indoors where having a conversation but today I Q&A would coal off. We we we flip the table here and and so with me today is Scott Mary, welcome to Q&A would coal off. Scott was great to be here again great to have you here. We we metal as though I will while backend fascinated by by your background and your story me got a whole sports background as well as a minute quite a mix as well as a ministry background right right. We do a lot of evangelism training okay okay but but well but prior to evangelism training which actually sit here looking at you, still pretty good shape yeah because you've worked in the past. For those who maybe don't know you worked with the Carolina hurricane the Carolina Panthers you work for NASCAR all kinds of pro athletes, special athletes and what is specializing in wants what I was that I was a deep tissue sports massage therapy guy we call it neuromuscular therapist and you and you went to school and it is. I remember in Canada for that which the training can do for that special school and basically I would do a lot of be the guy that will hurt you in fiction, you would hurt me in a good way yes I like that hurts my therapy was never pleasant when you're like oh, but you can feel so much better like a day from now. Right today is not right that the ring you know I would hurt you know all you get over it, you will improve fry from from this Russian cycle is. Is there a quick story behind the unique thing. Oh yeah, always okay I guess the most unique name is the one that they may Zach okay it actually is a Slavic name which means to rubber to smear or to anoint yeah so and Marcy like that name because no one else had that name. My life likes picking names that no one else knows you don't see Christine Scott is that you know every every name has a meaning.

So now know I'm I'm thinking that a lot of people have no clue what their name means.

But every name has a meaning it really just and it and even give you go all the way back to the Israel Hebrew Jewish roots of mean names then just name a kid just whatever all let's roll the dice and just, I mean they were very strategic about what they name their children and then on how that name and what it meant and then how it kinda set them up for for life in the sense right right will see my name's Scott, which is my middle name. My first name is Roger. My middle initials*do you know of the common they go.

We do so well so my mom and my names are Roger actually means famous Spearman's anger throws with those of Jablon okay and Scott means from Scotland or from afar. So okay so baby Scottish there's Scottish and Irish MES cases eight receive and I find Nelson, you got to Russian. Scott is higher is Swedish so there's a mixture there.

The current contract. That is their specialist okay for 20 far is the specialist of evangelism.

So what happens we go in the in the cities we work with churches and they do once a month training in power evangelism. I wrote a book called power evangelism with Dr. Michael Brown wrote the forward to okay and I talked all about what we do so will go to sleep okay. We do pray for people to say pray for people. This is how the Lord moves. This is how the Holy Spirit work stuff like that and then you lead them to the conclusion of who the Lord is and you invite them into relationship so basically it's a it's more one month once a month meetings of equipping and you train people. We do outreaches together. So, in all these places were in we their lot and then churches. A lot of our summer leaders are actually senior pastor okay so and we do have a couple of churches that are actually full full-fledged for 25 churches one is in Denver, Colorado, and then we got one in Phoenix Arizona to and one form so we have three so Sue just so friendless to just give a quick summary of if you Have some trouble bacteria will what 420 far is all about is is basically to train and equip the body of Christ to be the gospel with legs to go out and do the works of Jesus is talking about Jesus fulfill the great commission fulfill the great commission. We do that through once a month outreaches also just train people practicality the skills what you need to do to actually build relationships and also how to pray for people.

This somebody would see you teach is something you teach people the basics, yes, so basic Christianity 1110 why did it actually take it actually like in the book of James. Your faith without actions like the body without breath like right will body with the breath is dead right so you have all the faith the world but I don't take any action so sounds like you so you you teach, train, equip, but then you deploy absolutely not summarize its telling me anything about this man.

I think every person's it's like their secular job as a shadow of the calling. So look at what I've done my job was a trainer I got people trained how to befit my joy and how to defend themselves to defend themselves how to fight right right and also did neuromuscular sports I was you, and it was actually to be whole. You know, so that's really what you're doing is were teaching people how to actually go out into the world and to be salt and light not salt and vinegar and that's you that's good to set something man can know something we we bet big on training is to people and it is an annual Lex Luther and I and I know you talk little bit about that.

Yeah, I wasn't so much that I recall in standing looking in a mirror is much as I got a Russian cassette tape back in the day for those you young enough don't know what that is.

Go Google that I literally got a hand hands on a Russian cassette tape and and in a Russian workbook so I could learn some Russian like alert how to sign my name in Russian the cuticle off so I used to sign the lease is signed with the Russian letters know where you got inside in English early on it matter what I was signing. That's how I signed it on fact was a collectors cup out there at the 7-Eleven's or something one year had the right words on one. I was on one whatever and you'll see you'll see my name on there in Russian and for those whose this top dressing circle actually have one answer anyway.

It was about a six month period before I actually learned my first English word you just off the boat that had come a long way just stared and looked at it with you because you had that chain around yeah the chain know sure and not yes I would have a very intense look at that would try to intimidate not only my opponent but anyone else so I came in contact with right shoulder was over six month period that in mind, it was more like just come in my head.

Why yeah. Oh my goodness.

And so we wrestle for intermission in Richmond, which the fans were not happy about a world title match before intermission. No way to get on a plane and fly to Baltimore and wrestle and duplicate that in Baltimore that same night we stepped in the ring show there started 8 o'clock general versus our seven week. It still took longer than you meant private planes limousines the whole deal to and fro, but did not worship. We stepped into the ring show started eight Baltimore Kenai stepped in the ring. After resting 30, 40 minutes in Richmond.

I looked at Scott was 12 midnight so people already been there for hours. This we finished the match. I looked at clock 1255 in the morning while resting 55 minutes in both the fence on the feet the whole time as all of the defensible point like these guys are amazing and so those two goes to the inner Harbor and Sabatino's in Little Italy. My favorite all-time favorite to shut out the Sabatino's Little Italy Baltimore when my favorite all-time places all yeah so there are a lot of other towns are. I really honestly enjoy dressing. I was to greens parole Charlotte bring so much history and summary stories in those towns from Starkey to the Great American pastor Mike turn become a good guy beating magnet for the best-of-seven. So there's a lot of history and a lot of Townsend that I have fond memories so was the biggest practical joker in most the wrestlers near to me there there there were there were a bunch of them.

There honestly were probably the first and pops in my mind is Rick Steiner Rick Steiner him, his brother Scott Steiner, but react in a requisition with the caller shooter.
