Once a world champion wrestler, now a champion for Christ.

One slow-motion night. Now the devil's worst night in your tagteam partner cheetah call this time. Welcome back.

It's not cuticle all the man up our well will have our Russian nightmare know the devil's nightmare. We just have fun with this.

A today's a special show. I say that every week well today really is a special joke is this is a Thanksgiving tribute show and its even extra special because I have the man of the hour, the Tower of power, no not talking about the American dream that through you all. I'm talking about Robert Gilmore and mom I am a mammoth precinct guy Robert Gilmore probably will show all I am so excited about this because the topic excited to have you know the Christian car guy hey for those who don't know give a quick backdrop on the Christian car got wow that well that's a show that I've had on the Truth Network fracas about 16 years so that will be about cars but but actually we try to talk my got a lot more if we can testimonies people around the world. I think it's on over hundred stations now blessed and we have a chance to see what God's doing. And again, a big part of it is a Jesus labor love which is car repair labor for single moms widows and families in crisis. And so have a network across the country of people that help single moms widows that they can fill out a form a Christian car guy.com if they got a car need. So if you hear Misty know somebody like man is a single mom of the problem. Well the cool thing is Christian car guy people around the country donate to that and we have a fond right to help the single moms widows and families in crisis because if it's a veteran or some wheat we help them to and have for years.

We also have guys around the country that participated in a car repair shops, you have no idea and I always am amazed because along the idea of Thanksgiving is not very many applicants are, you can say thank you. Right, but I can assure you every single person that provide service. There always like man Robbie. I was just looking for a way that I could get back I can tell you how thankful I am that I can help this person help that person's phone it's really cool because you can see that kind of Thanksgiving. What was really cool is you and obviously today's Thanksgiving celebration broadcast, so to speak, but what you just described is that we don't just have to be thankful one day a year when we eat a bunch of turkey and stuffing, potatoes, and pumpkin pie.

But we can be thankful every day of the year. That's what you just described and all these others you get to contributed in some capacity. As you said, whether it's repairing cars or making donations for these widows and orphans. I think that's biblical remember reading something about that in the Bible that it was his idea, take care of the widows and the orphans and all those praying like lots and lots and lots of premium.

But yeah it's cool and families in distress and so not only those contributing on that and get to do something with a heart of gratitude and be thankful. But then the people on the other. The receiving right gives them the opportunity to be thankful for. Now I can tell you stories of I'm thankful that I was on my way over lunch and this lady calls and she is crying and she is so upset her cars then broke down for two months. She can't take care of her family and she's trying to figure out a way to go to work. She she can get it towed to where she needs to get it towed to and and she just somebody told her in a church about our ministry and so she calls me followers a government number but I'm glad she did.

And I could just hearing her voice.

Mammoth lady really does in soreness and I pray for you and God gave me a prayer for these ladies long time you know whoever I'm not to say thank you that that they had the courage to call me and I know you're in this in helper to sense your presence that you can take this to be all right. She can be okay and it's amazing how many times, then the support really thankful that the Spirit of God comes through those prayers] and even a sense in the in the person on the other end of the phone that all of a sudden that they have some confidence that God hears them. God sees and sums can be done is what I was over at church trailer packing up some of my resources in the books and CDs and in this box up since hey is an okay place with my cards broke, water pump just went out and yes if you had to leave in the front parking lot. It would be okay to leave their day or two till we I get it toted this at the other. You could tell she was probably not a woman of much means… I say that I go honey, I got a I'm sure be is to be totally cool that that you leave the car there was just double check inside you know they're like no that's why they should ask Rob.

She was the wrestling guy I go yeah the wrestling guy she's like oh my gosh.

So anyways, yet you just never know. On any given day is an opportunity to help somebody and see Thanksgiving. I unfold on anyway. Okay, now we'll jump into this year, and a couple of minutes. But before we do this something else to Sabe you do you do that you got that successful radio show by your positive camps. Do you know course, you've been the man camp. We talked about that you Cheryl mammary time you shared your heart, it All and how it impacted your life an entire week to chase after the heart of God, goodness rarity anywhere in the sense that most, many people won't do that right there. My experience in 15+ years of doing these guys get every excuse to why they can't go chase after the heart of God for week but they can go hunt Bambi for we usually do a camp as well. My masculine journey can happen something else you're doing the distal real quick about the masculine journey Guys you might want to go to bat. Yeah we we have done these camps based after John Eldridge's wild at heart boot camps he does in Colorado for the tent for about 10 or 11 years, and so it's the same kind of deal like helping men see the role that God really gave them in their masculinity and then you know life is so much more good in a statement the couch watching TV. God had a really huge role for you to play and it's man up and how can we do that and how can we learn what our role is in life and how can God equip us to fight the battles of our own family. If nothing else from yeah what you guys find out more information about the masculine journey can it masculine journey.org masculine journey.orgy and and I would encourage you to do. If you haven't already downloaded the truth radio app because that will open up a hold plethora of not only the manna podcast but Christian car guys so many amazing podcasts and be able to then dial into all the different radio shows a mean Alister bag Greg Laurie Dr. David Jeremiah so many amazing speakers and and ministers and programs on on truth radio so talented that Inda Robbie let's transition it is okay Thanksgiving Thanksgiving day and you know I'm not going to assume anymore that everybody just knows their history.just assume that all everyone just knows history.

With that said, I thought, you know… Talk for a couple minutes about Thanksgiving day.

You know it's a national holiday this year to notes of Karina coming up Thursday but going back to 1621 is a little girl who broke the Plymouth colonists and the not to say this. Maybe you do what want Wampanoag Wampanoag are you running the Indians Indians.

They they shared an autumn harvest fees.

By most accounts that's acknowledged today is one of the first one of the first anyway. Thanksgiving celebrations in the colonies and then for more than two centuries days of Thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states, and it wasn't until 1863, so was semi-math is a good best of couple hundred years later, in the midst of of the Civil War. Actually that Pres. Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving day to be held each November. That's pretty cool. Let me just add another little caveat to that September 1620. A small ship called the Mayflower the Mayflower left Plymouth England carrying 102 passengers, an assortment of religious separatists is that they were doing seeking a new home where they could freely practice their faith. Apparently their faith was a bit in the practice of their faith is a bit inhibited over in the in in the United Kingdom or or or England, so they were seeking asylum.

If you will end and lured by the promise of prosperity in land ownership in the quote, but interestingly and often I can't picture this out and you can Robbie that that trip lasted 66 days now on see on while before they dropped anchor Cape Cod and so you know just just establishing some some history and then just fast-forward, just quickly today, nearly 90% of Americans here. Here's a Thanksgiving's become about now. I bought 90% eat the bird. Starbuck I thought I would make a turkey salad.

I gobble they got a drink out of goblets right all gobble and drink out of goblets very go and some I roasted some might break it in a course where here in the South, so anyone want to guess what they do.

The self deprive everything in the cell Robbie when I first came here from Russia and severe adulthood is not is he really throws. I thought he wasn't from Russia.

This old economic, and I found out these people down here deprive everything they deep fry Oreo cookies the candy bars, Twinkies, I mean picture of health obviously flashing across my brain right here, but according know this existed. Robbie according to the national Turkey Federation area that existed also Turkey Federation.

Other other traditional foods include stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce on my favor by the fruit salad.

But what you what your favorite go to it at Thanksgiving. By the way, it's addressing my mother gave me the recipe… I have do you make it so she gave me the recipe you actually make it our family we tradition that the dog the dressing goes. Actually, the stuffing goes in the turkey.

That's why my mother did it okay and we actually put ours out on our charcoal grill with the dressing in okay that's that's that's that's interesting for me. For me, sweep sweet tater lowball again.

I guess with the brown sugar and some melted marshmallows on. That's one of my favorites as I have that I'm sure you eat it because I do like the creamers I like the pumpkin pie with just give me a hotel with Cool Whip man I got bumped upon you to count. This is your GPA because your cheat days are famous from unit questions would call off people I run other Robbie Robert Robbie and I prefer not to call it sheet. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry treats three discrete yeah. She sounds so auto dog just doesn't sound quite said I didn't. I'm sorry I missed three today it's my treat every ward day is yet for those you know, maybe setting on a man of conference of the came to camp or whatever.

Yes, Sundays is usually my one day fun day each week. My reward day for eating lean cleaning green during the week, but then but then I Michael there's about 300 days and then it gives me 65 days, flexible days, Sundays and Thanksgiving and Christmas and some anniversaries and super legalistic on me. I might still have a cookie during the soap but I just don't have a whole box of cookies along the Russian nightmare here for crescent automotive buying a car is a nightmare for you, my friends, Ryan Jimmy Johnson crescent automotive make it simple to find your preowned dream car, no hassle, she will place no matter where you live your dream body drive crescent.com is all you need to know is right there) everybody drive crescent. You should drive crescent green tile right now number one thing this is Nicole. I want to thank Lemmons for supporting my new show man on Saturday afternoon. 1230 truth is if you think you mean activities in communities whole food drives the free dinners for the less fortunate and parades, which is what was one of the most notable parades that's Macy's weight all my family are you better believe there to be pollen up the chairs because they give anyone watch Snoopy and the big marshmallow man coming down the Macy's day Parade in New York City.

Hey, any idea when that started, let me test your memory. Here, probably in the 20s that's good you want to narrow down him about nine different fans that they try 29 okay yeah he occurs. That was when the big crash was right.

The stock stock market crash, night.

My dad was born 1924 1924 Macy's store Saturday and Lou is become the most largest and most famous attracting check this out 2 to 3 million spectators along the 2.5 mile routes and draws enormous television audiences while in Chris marching bands and all that Macy's U-verse sponsor.

The map shows that you give me a plug to say it's okay. I want one more little tidbit of information here, though it will jump into some of the more more meaningful talk of a Thanksgiving, so this annual celebration in the falls into the category of festivals by blotted some of my research Robbie expands cultures, continents and actually millennia did you know that no yeah ineffective. You go back in ancient times, like Greeks, Egyptians, even Romans, they feasted and paid tribute. Now here's a slightly different date they pay tribute to their gods liturgy the liturgy after fall harvest system tied into fall harvest by Thanksgiving also bears resemblance something you directly talk about before we came on air to the ancient Jewish harvest Festival of Sukkoth or Sukkoth, how to compare how you want to say that and and so which is very interesting and hope in Israel that Ryan and him have you been there during that time I've not been during that time we went on a we went on a pilgrimage of sorts attended Pope was to love days like when it was level.

We spent three days in Jordan ended up at the at the oh gosh the ruins of Petra and prayed underneath the stars.

Next day we are able to lock in the place in a private place in the Jordan River got baptized in the Jordan River and yet really was half an hour to ourselves. It was so cool even in our military guard watching over us in our Muslim guy taking pictures of our baptisms while yeah it really was good amid impact on the guy, Mohammed, and anyway, and everyone in the usual spent eight days there walked the streets of Jerusalem sailed the sea of Galilee.

All my gosh there were many eye watering moments in yeah's there were so so yeah so I wasn't there during the Thanksgiving holiday but but but you are messy, some things about Sukkoth. Similar parallels there is absolutely phenomenal phenomenal feast because the Jews think they celebrated. This is their final feast of the last of the last feast, which you know if you look think about harvest in general and you can see the picture that's been painted is that the month of Tishri, the seventh month of the Jewish year is of high holy month and four of so many holidays come so it starts off of Rosh Hashanah. There Jewish new year and they blow the show for which we can come to know what's going happen when the shofar blows right now I am not a day of atonement. I'm writing it, which is absolutely huge in that month). They have the priest with a rope on his ankle to make sure you know they could get a monitor for got crispy critter right, but then came the feast is aware that it actually goes on for eight amazing days right right in there so many and things in the Bible that line up with the eight and one of the cool things if you just read John chapter 7. If you think about this for Thanksgiving this year. Read John chapter 7 and see what Jesus did during that feast right and it's the feast that represents joy and there's a lot in Isaiah 12 it talks about joy and and what that means in Sukkoth but when the deal for them was the water right. Not only did God provide the harvest, but Nora never harvest you can have water and if you check the story of the pilgrims they were struggling with the same thing with rain right Ryan and so their deal is water. They they bring in water on the first day of the feast, but the big high who deal for them when they do what is called the feast of Tabernacles. For many, and they been sleeping out of the supers for all week and then this day they bring in this water in a portly, libation offering, and they pour it on the altar and they do this to that to this day in their synagogues right and then maybe you know they they scream and shout and all because this, represents the rain that they're going to get for the for that year will look at near the end of John chapter 17 see Jesus stood up at this moment in time when there are important water and then he says you know that's when he says in on the living water, and he who first can have this water in and never thirst again is absolutely a picture of how cool is it because what what does harvest when you think about that as a Christian we get to tabernacle with God right this is this is the beginning of it's it's it's on my donkey Kong what it's sexy pretty interesting. As I see bring all that up as I support supportive years of ministry over in Israel keep a cone is is is is Nazar Macias actually lives in Jerusalem is gotta special needs signing and shall yeah he sends me air every every month or couple months. He says he updates his stuff and it's interesting, rancorous 87 strikeouts is trying to find here real quick because he said he was talking about how great pray for rain kiss this time. Apparently this time of year in Israel is it's not a very it's not the rainy season right and and they even need rain even this this time of year, specifically so all that's that's pretty amazing. Nikki was ministries of a heat he trained CRE races race up a Army if you will, of young Jewish messianic Jewish Jewish man and women as evangelists, evangelists over Israel and so that's pretty cool and so what an illustration though of an and I bet saw a lot of our listeners probably didn't know hardly any of that. So it's it's interesting so we can tie in John chapter 7, so this this year that might be something you might consider doing cracking open your Bible, maybe have never done that over Thanksgiving. You may view said the Thanksgiving prayer gave God thanks right Robbie for all the food a provision in family and fellowship in football and in parades and everything comes with that, but maybe maybe you listening out there, take a different approach this year to Thanksgiving crack open John chapter 7 read that to the family. Maybe how Robbie Beebe apparently before they have dinner and think about the living water that meant a note no longer you got no turkey right you got no dressed stuff on the tables, and without water right in the week I living water that that makes it all happen.

The living water and how thankful are we for that that Jesus came in, left, left the comfort of having to put on the dirt suit as I: all put on the dirt seed for about 33 years walked the earth and model for us what it looks like to have a relationship with the father with Abba Papa and and then returned to heaven and then set him to send you a helper of the Holy Spirit. And for those who surrender their life. Hey what he appears. What if Robbie what if this Thanksgiving. There may be some listening out there is a show at last. Kunkel's downloading and 58 different countries. In addition to beyond being on truth radio network. What if somebody out there learned about all this for the very first time and made a decision to surrender their life to Jesus on Thanksgiving day. How cool that is, there would be rejoicing in heaven. I'll bet there will be an even bigger celebration and Thanksgiving in heaven because it says right if even just want to mean he'll leave the 99 to go look for the one I mean, if even just one did that this Thanksgiving. If that one is you you listed this message in maybe going to wait till Thanksgiving.

Maybe. Maybe you listen to this. You know that as it errors and and you make that decision. Then email me and shoot me an email go just got a call off.net go to my website. You can email me right to my website and say listen here show and man. I surrendered my life to Jesus today what what a Thanksgiving celebration right Robbie that they are the biggest feast ever at that point right. Nothing would make me more thankful thankful bigger than any food or anything else that we might show you say shove that size and shut down our gullet right Robbie.

If we were almost out of time with you.

Are you like me and perhaps many of our listeners out there. T always eat way more than you should have it at Thanksgiving only. I like the endorphin field is real. You hold another show for realtors like oh yeah, the triple panel whatever quote in the turkey that all asleep. Psychological at the research that now Robbie Seo that's for real, right all yeah I turkey it all put you to sleep anyway, so but I don't know yeah I for 1 Always Eat Way too much.
