This is the Truth Network call for questions and answers they would pull off the oil come back to the Q&A with rolloff questions and answers and for those you who tune in who dial into this segment of the show, you realize we kind of flip the tables on I flip the tables on me. In other words, I'm usually asking all the questions on the man up show.

Well I Q&A with rolloff. I give you the audience to ask me some questions and most the time I have no clue what you could ask, and so it is pretty spontaneous and hopefully a guy come up with. I guess the right answer. I don't know but in the studio with me today. Pastor Derek Hawkins, Pastor Jay Stewart. They pastor the refuse church in Kannapolis. The main campus. Jay Stewart, Derek Hawkins, the campus in Greensboro. These are coarser in North Caroline can now that the refuge all over the planet. But great to have you guys in the studio on Q&A with Cole off today. Thanks for being there. Only time will you have a good summer. You ready for this. I don't know. I don't know what no is much as I know you two guys I don't know is visible jumping to your questions is when you put it up like out there for for a barbecue came out with recently with the last.

You must well did forming racial bonds that last. I want to mention the book also want to mention that you now have a curriculum that that goes along with that they can find the book on Amazon five-star rating on Amazon, they can find it there right now media they could find the curriculum that goes it works in conjunction with the book Derek take take just a second and and tell our listeners what what what I can glean from the book the jealous you were that what they're going to glean from the curriculum to thank you for this again big to get so much direction and how to lead conversations about race how to have conversations in maybe in comfortable spaces of how dialogue so we make it clear with the thoughts some the questions that we ask so is there reading the book, so you gotta get the book 1st be good right now. Media download PDF the videos or DVDs and then you can get a devotional OU version walk that through to get so much inspiration and encouragement, but you also can I have some tough conversations that you guys can have right to, and allow the Holy Spirit to come in and just begin to build relationships together because it's all about building relationships okay and to give us like maybe you know what we wanted to see examples are maybe a quick story and on how one book is impacted someone and then how you feel. The curriculum is getting impact an individual church group that were getting great reports from really all over the nation. The responses to the book have been overwhelming.

It's obvious that the Holy Spirit has breezed on this. It's a very important subject to the Lord.

It's a priority to God. This whole thing of unity, but one of the unexpected things happen with the book is it's now there are thousands of copies in prisons in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida. We got a great letter from one of the inmates in Florida. We got a letter from an elderly lady in South Florida that does a reading program with youth and children just different testimonies from churches, pastors, business leaders, and how God is using the book because we talk about historical context with racial division in America. Some of the high points of of you know, things that have happened in our nation and we talk about Scripture and why it's important to God.

What should be important to us. We just get some real practical tools to people of knowing how to leave and start what would I go when that's why the small group curriculum is so important.

A lot of people don't even know how to have a conversation about even started, even Starkville question to ask is going to store all the stuff up in people's gotta invoke all these thoughts and desires and then the small group curriculum comes along and says now here's how to have a conversation get six people together get a dozen people together in your workplace. Take your lunch break with the BL youth group men's group women's group, whatever it is and then watch the DVDs up 8 to 10 minutes apiece and then we we put out questions for them to stop. Ask and to start talking conversation and it's going to lead them into some really in-depth meaningful conversation as it sounds like to me some some real genuine bona fide relationships could be forged and bonded it and I have no doubt about it and you know Joe you talk about you talk about the God sees things slightly different. What what immediately whatever might.

It is meant man looks at the outward appearance, God looks at the heart right so so when we look at the color of someone's skin and black, brown, yellow, red, white, you know we we we do that but but he looks right past all that… That's right right at the heart of a man or woman itself will God.

Well, well, I just don't go or that book order that curricula right now media Amazon welded welded is the name of the blog for forming racial bonds that last they're going to start with you. I'll give you the first crack at this case is that I don't know died.

I do know you pretty big wrestling fan growing up. I don't know what your first question is to be related to but but let let's let's go fob with flip the tables live guys and Mao Mankins met on the Internet me that if writing about so question how did you get the name the Russian night, the Russian nightmare. It's a good question because when I broken wrestling I have this conversation just the other day was over there like you ruling the cuticle up ago yet is now for the ones you are who you really press pass, that the note that but I'm speaking to the perfect English right to be Russian right and the like is that your birth name on my lots a different question. I go to I go.

It's not like what your birth and I go by the book. For that I can give you that for for I just go online and research you'll find but that's that's when I broken wrestling legally change my name to the cuticle off the Russian nightmare moniker came from was I was Russian guy named the town of power to three to be. How would you feel Dia the fundable, from often tech that everybody loves the mercy was known as the American dream is so did I work at an angle and and I just found out my life. You know you don't know can be no I going to be your worst nightmare.

You know how she nightmare American dream Russian nightmare. And that's kind of where where that originated why yeah yeah IJ you're up question love flipping them.

I can hear maybe I already know. I've actually got a series of questions and I'll jump to my question here we go beach or mountains would you prefer mountains by far saltier suite below. I have a sweet tooth, but I love to mix the two week fruits or vegetables, fruits like vegetables for summer winter with this summer.

I and since this is the group in Minnesota.

I know Siberian mines of Siberia Minnesota Moscow Minnesota ever lipids again, I hear you man and and you host the course of man upon castle boxers or briefs why I don't think there's a brief split but but there like the long ones though they liked not the short one is a call briefs. But the really comfortable boxer briefs, boxer briefs yeah yes no movement on moving on okay you travel all over the world.

Yes, but if there's one place you could go that you have not been yet. Where would it be done under Australian gray through one of the strip on the Bobby yes might just come on down on the nights strip on the Bobby yes I dare go back to him about it as he had serious about a lot of this about you, but you an amazing father. I think we watch a story, and photo TV man so Melissa what is one of the greatest lessons that you learned about father if he will speak to our generation about how to be a father to get you question it had I looked at the man robbing the studio here with me.

We had this discussion last time we were here, but with an interview I did with someone Derek that and add it and because you referred to for those who don't know you referring to. If we did a reality show called preachers daughters that I called the chick channel on lifetime originally and I was set around Colby my youngest daughter. Although all the girls Roddick, Kendra Tommy tear their mother was on it a lot right and job but it set around the daughter of what's life like to be a daughter of a preacher and so it was interesting raising reason for girls not my grandchildren.

Presently, accounting and sodium swam many years in the estrogen ocean but will no drama whatsoever. No drama and and what was important for me is a great question. What was important for me was one on one time. You know I had four girls and I was diligent and intentional rule every week to have one-on-one time with each daughter just daddy daddy daughter date from a very young age.

Starting with going to all of their schools and having lunch with them until they got all that to say dad you don't need to come to my schooling have lunch so that I used to go pick him up and take him out for lunch.

They want to be embarrassed that in the lunch room with a right so that's one example of just quality one-on-one time with them sowing into them investing in them an answer is certainly treating them to do different things. Mac took each one of them on on a holiday again just like Colby for example, I took her to Miami on up over Father's Day weekend was just her and I took when I daughters to San Diego one year.

Just you know just one-on-one time and focus with them and the other thing as we are as interview miscounted a Tracy tremendous Jones Robbie reminded. He said I want to her dad's seminar like four years ago is the biggest take away had was, he said, raising children wasn't what I taught my children because it's what I what might children taught me so I paid attention at what I can learn from my children more than what I was going to try to teach them and Charlie tremendous Jones that I learned a lot so good though IJ your turn. Okay, man. I've actually got two questions. First woman that is who did you enjoy wrestling against the most man that's a good question because if so, here's a list of some guys arrest. With reference to stone cold Steve Austin rickety Dragon stable ravishing Rick rude undertaker who was known as Mark me Mark Callis before he was the undertaker diamond Dallas page. Dusty rose as I mentioned the road warriors, Legion of doom the rest rock 'n' roll express writing and in a carcinogen, dusty with Lex Luger staying yeah I saw I was fortunate to be in the ring without great guys and that's a tough one to nail down purposely intentionally left one out and I guess I'll have to point to him is early on I learned a lot with no training background I had on-the-job training, so I learned a lot from this guy is. He's the I feel the consummate pro those you don't know yet who I referred to you. I'll give you a clue what the nature be the man you got up beat that man analog that I know I tip my hat to really to Rick where I mean I would say was almost like a night off. It was just a dance out there and all I had to do is follow his lead and you can make a brilliant broomstick look good. He made the Russian nightmare. Derek look good so I'll pick Rick here. That's great out. Second question, if you could spend half a day with anybody who's currently alive or that was recently living honestly recently living in the last decade or that may I know it's a tough question on the spot sort of think it's probably a lot of people in your mind who you so might it comes to mind that you love to spend half a day with a lot to two names come to mind and on, etc. why this thing popped in my head that you asked the question but so here's the spiritual answer first Jesus. I like this better half a day with Jesus myth that you cannot say G.I. heaven are outside of these who could you spend half knows what I got like to think I think what Winston Churchill popped in my mind.

Go Winston Churchill popped in my mind that that that they never give up.

Yeah, never about writing and so with that name popped up admitting is a question we want one more question dear man so let was the greatest decision that you've ever made in your life as far wall, goodness wow I'm glad you disables my greatest regret. You may have to plead the fifth on that one, but the greatest decision.

Wow. Well, okay, let's see.

Well for me and again not to over spiritualize this conversation but you the easiest answer 70 October 1993 when I surrender my life to Jesus and I met this man sitting there next you Jay Stewart by far was the single greatest decision. Outside of that encounter at the altar that day answering honestly answering the call to ministry went when the Lord said when I was told, God has a call on your life.

You know to ministry.

And unlike now what's that look like, and so the last 3020+ years have been a mean mind blowing for me on the things I've been able to do the places I've been able to go and and you things like this radio show an interest all the opportunities that I've had it on and and I have no clue at this point one they will know right. How many lives have been impacted by by walking, I believe you're just obedient to what the God God's asked me to do something is awesome and I got to say thank you for this opportunity minute. Thank you. Also I will know the truth you a few years ago.

Okay that ultimately change my life because of you. Yes, so that yes in 1993 impacted me and so one of those wars would be that you help me see God in a deeper way.

Thanks Derek RJ final question, J final question, my Lord. What's your favorite food you could you could have one food for the rest your life.

One food colleague for the rest of your life, what would that man up for sale so spiritual age. Okay this is a list of strawberries.

I see shooters of martyrs that really got to dig deep man I came ready, you did.

I mean well let me let me qualify that doesn't have to system is are there no calories involved or not.

It didn't matter, man. I mean, you're just trying to, you just got one food for the rest your life and mad about calories. Okay okay well I mean, you know, cheesecake factory has about 100 varieties of cheesecake. I guess I could rotate each day different flavor go at cake factory, with whatever whatever island you get stranded on me there with the eventual choice on tomorrow will great to have it be there to get that you Jay, thank you for coming on the show today. It's a great question. I hope you out there hope you enjoyed hey if you like it if you like to get a personal these are the studio but if you like to get a personal phone call from the Russian nightmare cuticle off and just go to cool off.net that's my website.
