Welcome back to Q&A with Cole thank you for having me. Hope you're having a great day. I have your old habit.

This is you, we already had you on the show. One time, and hear your back again and I know you submitted about 1001 questions Lance but you know we we just can't address them all at one time, which is why we got you back so we get a narrow down your questions here in just a moment to maybe the top, two, three, maybe four, depending on time but let's tell the listeners were were where were connecting where you where you live and where you I am in Columbiana Ohio which is outside of Youngstown, Ohio Ohio, about 2025 minutes from Youngstown, Ohio and our hour and 1/2 from Pittsburgh an hour and 1/2 around from Cleveland. That's that's very cool and you know you I know we you know we we connect quite a bit on on social media and twitter and in and all you people fall in Instagram, Facebook, and in all that in and for people who don't know you you you you write reviews and is like the book reviews writing that what what all what all do you do Lance on my I do what they call a blog page review books, books, movies, music, whatever I can get my hands on your lot of Christian books, some non-Christian, but just things that I like and I also do some other website are writing for other websites, but the cold thing I like about it is I being a Christian, you know, I would read a book or something. And you know let's say there's a lot of language in it. That may not be suitable so I you know, put in there, but I feel the age limit is a you know what the language is things like that just something I grew up living like an starting to write. I have a degree in English so passes the time from you know 9-to-5 job right now you know is awesome.

It's time I love to do so yeah that's great well English was not my strong suits. In a sense it's kind of ironic that written three books working on the fourth book in it and not not my favorite subject back and in the my educational days, but I guess you could say you was in the of a fan of it. It apparently does help me later in life, and so quit working.

This got his time when he beat Bruno Sammartino for the W WWF championship cigarette though I've never been asked that before that that like we say time and that maybe recently, perhaps put up great question which by the way, I sent you mentioned the book of the updated version hot off the press so to speak.

Nikita, a tale of the ring and redemption actually selling really really well and I just go on to the cloth.net onto that website cloth.net and you'll see the store there and you'll see a couple books there and as well as a by tans and T-shirts and just a bunch of stuff there that I think will bless you and so back back to your question.

You know, back in the day were traveling up and down the roads you not really hashing over you. What is in a sense what you did in the past what you accomplished in the past. It is much as what what matches her upcoming and what you're going to do you know baby the current angle that you're involved and what could enhance it or what can make it better and and so we to my knowledge, as best I can rack my brain.

We never really in a partly because I just I would really a Pharisee growing up I didn't even really all hardly know about that.

I don't even know.

I knew that Joe like after I retired, be honest with you it's it's now that I'm learning a lot of the history of wrestling, one from from writing the ring and redemption all week.

We put a lot of wrestling history in it but but also from having conversations with fans like yourself who will enlighten me to some of these things so no, I don't really think we we ever discussed it but but certainly a memorable moment in his career, no doubt. Yeah, I mean a lot of people may not know how big Bruno was at the time I get that I'm near Pittsburgh and just the concept of you know champions were not every other week like they are. Maybe today's product every other hour back every other hour, don't you yeah some of his tongue and she grabbed some of these belts know that they know that what one hour lose at the next hour. You know correcting a wrong. Didn't Bruno have that title when I can beat him. He was I can't have that bill for like seven maybe eight years right without being very right yeah yeah all along the yeah he had it for a while years. I'm sure you only listen to research that applicant find out it was almost confident 90 site 9% but at least seven years. He had that belt around his waist without being beaten by anybody.

So when Ivan beat of that was a big deal so they go absolutely, absolutely. All right. Next question.

Now I know when I ask questions like I don't go out left field. Sometimes you know so you been in the ring and I know a lot of people do not like receiving the chops. So who do you think had the hardest chops and pro wrestling that you felt hello where Ron Garvin ran down to well you you you name you name is some some good ones. Rick Rick's chop was more you know the upper his approach and course if you were you nice and sweaty. He could glance that that shop right off your chest and and and although it's gone. It definitely did not hurt as much as as handsome's tone.

Ronnie Garvin or just you Wahoo the chief while McDaniel is that there chops amine. I mean you you there chops to leave hand present me that they would bruise your chest, especially Ronnie Garvin and so I would have to buy if I were to rank them. I would probably say probably say Ronnie Garvin at the top while McDaniel close second flare buddy Lindell with the four names you name so oh well yeah they were. It was not a night off. When you when you when you sustain chops from from those guys. Well yeah I watch and Wahoo may be created, as well as his opponent, just so you know, so if you criticism that imagine being opponent the ring feeling yeah I I'd rather take my chances of doing a 10 minute match with Larry Briscoe because you know that nine minutes out of that hand on the apron fan is talkative walking Larry's letter is one of the few guys I know that could have in our matching as you just said you would 55 minutes of that would be him him in engaging with the finances for living legend himself, Larry.

Kudos to you America's bottom line is he was able to pull it off and and very engaging with the bands you what I know close to that is a guy named George Southey was an undercard but but nevertheless gave his heart and soul to the wrestling industry and had a very similar ability as as someone on the undercard but anyway great question.

That's question well yeah love George so felt trained many many many people. Yes he did well let let's let's hi, did you have any interactions with Jimmy Valley at the boogie-woogie yeah who who are cuckoos and talk about the boy from New York City to have a value you know I had early on in my career course login a lot of those guys are kind in the twilight of their careers, so to speak.

And Jimmy being one of them really a Johnny Weaver in the mid-Atlantic roofers are frittering Jones to be there's a number of guys that come to mind. And so I'm I'm certain I don't know I had any single matches. I may have.

I me when you have as many matches or had as many matches as I had last. It's hard to keep track of all. Sometimes people post on social media like like they posted one of of well-being and Tracy's mother. Some like oh I wrestle Tracy. Okay I mean I just didn't remember that I did write what was that other than the masted Japanese old liger liger fusion liger something like that on their liger guide matches against him alike.

All I did but I learned I learned all this from you, the fan right as to who I wrestle so I'm sure I had matches against Jimmy brought probably more maybe tagged and then singles but I may have had singles but that was always entertaining. I mean he he'd shake them hands and then wiggle those legs and course people would love it so what else you got all we talked about rattling the moment about the Bible. If you don't mind yeah listen, it will do what I got time to listen to Tressa couple Bible questions a whole and hopefully have an answer because just so you know I am no theologian but well let's try this talking where the devil's worst nightmare. Well, you got a point. Okay now 32 crime against the devil go on what you what you got.

This will give you go throughout. You been doing. You've also done from here preaching experiences and at and the question I have is what are you seeing as a Christian. The church is what do you think we as Christians should possibly start looking out for start focusing on. Once we are now you know churches are starting the start up again post, you will need post covert that's been an interesting journey the last 15 1617 months right and very eye-opening. I think for a lot of people and in many ways I mean from certainly from from the church is been what what in my view forced to close this is my own personal view and and and then in the process of of reopening re-engaging right, they had to go to shift gears and figure how they could still reach people in it.

Even though the doors were closed and so so the majority in one online writer started reaching people online and actually got bigger numbers of people online than they did you actually show up at church itself and and and I have been out there quite quite a bit of the last you know your plots, even in the midst of cold and I was out about traveling or doing doing man camps and conferences and and and and those who I will say this way those pastors who stood at the helm and and and steered the ship versus others who I I feel went down into the hole and grab her life jacket and I know the Lord said to me personally and write out right out of the gate. He said faith over fear do not succumb to fear over this thing and and so I did. From day one, you know, I just had faith that God was going to protect me in my travels and I was home for I sent out for four and half months, which is where we rode all the new chapters for Nikita Attila the ring and redemption and add in this podcast, and the radio show the map radio show was birthed during that time. Stu Epperson truth radio network Robbie Gilmore just the man of the hour, the tower power to sweet to be sour himself, you know, these guys came alongside me and have been amazing and in helping me helping me get the show not only off the ground but out to 3035 going on 40 countries and in so I'm's what I'm seeing what I'm witnessing is is a litmus test of sorts in that it is senses like okay, we've got this thing now how's everybody could respond to this thing and by every account to every pastor so far to date that I've talked to. They've been somewhat some of said shocked. Some of said said, surprised at at who they thought were like poor people like never going anywhere like like will will forever be engaged in locked in and have just went MIA, but just just you just vanished off the map have never come back to church. Don't know what happened to where they went of the Lord is brought others so tiny in their place, so to speak, so I think it was in a sense God's like okay this is happened. Now let me see who who like like this for real. Like, who's you, maybe just on the fringes, you know, maybe just check in the box that they attend church and or and or who's really locked in solid like like Peter said, you know it when Jesus spoke to the disciples us and many of them you read the Bible.

Mrs. many of his quote disciples turned to walk away, never to return. Go read it in the Gospels.

It's right there, is there like this is just too hard we work with, you know this is a hard thing you're asking of us and it literally says and this is disciples turned and says many walked away and said never to come back again, never to return. He swings around I could just visualize himself sagrada Peter and the other the others and God are usually me to Peter pipes up those man were all in. We got nowhere else to go.

You know, we left our fishing business. We do whatever you know and and but that was their attitude at that time that men were not going anywhere.

In the course for those who know the account you even though they ran off on that on on the night of his arrest.

We eventually know they came back to right first Peter second Peter the Québec to write John and and Revelation. The Québec to write Jameson's like you have to write a lot of the New Testament and and were were were actually the majority of them martyred love out of the glove. Another 12 martyred for for their book. There following Jesus. I mean he was Peter right if I'm not mistaken, crucified upside down. He said I'm not worthy enough to be crucified right side up like Jesus crucified me upside down.

Can you imagine crucified up side down, one was cut in half. One of his disciples at me. I know this sounds a bit but but this is reality. Go check it out.

Of those, those disciples who said we are all in on this thing were filled with the Holy Ghost up at Pentecost and then to their death.

They follow Jesus and and so I think that's kind of this kind were headed.

Who's really in usually all in and so this this whole covert thing.

I feel like Lance is kind of a litmus test just to see who's really all in never thought of it that way. Very good.

Yeah so good question thank you so my question and then taken wrap up if you want, but we talked about how he started the podcast and what you think is the most challenging thing in the most rewarding thing that you learned about doing podcasting school challenge easily so it's challenging because cassettes I think a shorter, easier answer. I haven't haven't felt so it was super challenge, but I may not obviously I've never been in radio before you have been for the cameras and microphones and and all that so well I guess I will say this is so that if there was anything challenging was it was learning how to know how to how to do radio show.

I would imagine my mom and Robbie Gilmore, who's been instrumental who has years of experience with this, who has been mentoring and coaching me and helping me on that and it took to really learn how how did how do bring a radio show across to the listener and and then ultimately upload that on all the podcast platforms right and so so so there's been a learning curve there of learning to do that. The most rewarding thing on that note is is as I mentioned the show currently is in your 30+ is been downloaded in the 30+ countries are not satisfied with that.

My goal is I want to see it downloaded into 100 countries. It's currently on a handful of radio stations on the East Coast, a very aggressive goal of seeing the show syndicated and on and and going to get on two or 300 stations across America and in so that's been rewarding and then to get all the feedback from from people who email me or message me on social media on how the show is really blessed them all the different interviews weathers the man up, show horse, the Q&A show just by how they're being blessed by the variety of interviews that I'm that I'm able to have in the different stories you know like not unlike yourself and I will say this one a little side note challenges you know is is your were were always looking for for funding and offer sponsors and advertisers for the show in so you know that can be challenging sometimes right for people to step up you like a want to do that and then they don't and you like mass too bad so anyway so keep that in your prayers more sponsors, more advertisers, so we can syndicate the show and get it across America. Lance absolutely night and I think that it I think it somehow. It's not just all wrestling days you know there's thanks Christian like who are wrestling fans, but maybe not like some of the others that are out there you know and maybe the name of the book with the names to remain autonomous, but not really encouraged by that, I really appreciate that you my heart.

My goal is to have a variety you know from from entrepreneurs to celebrities to to fans to you know to to pastors and just a variety of people, so people can hear stories from all walks of life and hopefully the ultimate goal of the of the is that these interviews are inspirational, perhaps even motivational and uplifting to the listeners so I appreciate the less I appreciate you coming back on Q&A with you. Thank you for updating the book and put in all the other hand, stories then Mayor I was shocked that my story got in there talking about how the wrestling magazines out me read and write, but there are some great stories in their you know people haven't gotten that updated look. I need to get that mad at you. I have overlooked a lot appreciate you mentioning that. So there are a lot of fans stories that we included in the final chapter is I wanted people to submit their stories and be able to to see their name in print.
