Enjoy it, share it, but most of all, thank you for listening and for choosing The Truth Podcast Network. This is the Truth Network cuticle all fear questions and answers they would pull off the devil's nightmare are you today I'm great, Sir, and yourself doing wonderful. Appreciate you put set aside some time to to be on the show.

I want to honor well. It's great to have you, Jonathan. If they were still almost where were you located where you calling from or where we call you a lump on from Walker Louisiana Walker Louisiana come on, what tell me where that's near because I'm not familiar with Walker Louisiana it's sort of the halfway point between Baton Rouge and Hammond okay all right LSU fan LSU and thanks for LSU and sees Jesse to set a quarterback. I think retire there right and your brain want the best ever to play the game. He was a competitor. Was he not owe you a great man owner not feel well. I've heard he seized on a whole old law for the city of New Orleans right you nice only in involved outside of football well and then and I know that kudos to him. I know that the city in New Orleans is is gotta be great if I think I saw Risa Hamm retiring from from football but I'm not retiring from Rome from New Orleans so which is that which is great right right so well not have you born and raised there grow up there how long you been there job.

Yeah, I've been here all my life. 38 years, born and raised in the what what what keeps you busy and Walker Louisiana oh, mostly mostly church and work okay what and what would you do for work, manager for healthcare healthcare organization.

Well you that you've had your work cut out for you last year or so, haven't you will absolutely but what about my hats off to all of you healthcare workers. I know it's been a real challenge for all of you so I I commend you and in and thank you for being a part of that line of the profession. You're very welcome and so on and so the other you said church.

So what you've all like to Sunday school. What what would you do a church monopoly on the praise and worship team and also serve on the board. Okay okay what what instruments, what is to Mr. guitar, acoustic guitar, I'm guessing you pick that up at it at a young age of early age.

Actually, not freshman college course and at Southeastern and Hammond had struggling to put it down and took some lessons. Years later I may I wish I would start an early age. But you know they say, better late than never exactly that's exactly right so well.

I just did commend you for being a part of the worship team there. Have you been doing that for quite some time, or just as reason and planning in charge on and off for about an 15 years fantastic and what what's with what's name your church shady Bauer Pentecostal church shady Briar shady Bauer shady Bauer pests Pentecostal church that's awesome up a long you been been attending there. I've been there five years now believe it is okay fantastic in and well it's it's great to have you on the show ended the we have you read have some fun today. Absolutely I have fun every day. That's a guy is a great answer. Well, let's let let's set this fire up a couple your questions in and see it.

I have I don't I'm sure to get a silver disc and that's always good even more fun because I'm just going to come into this kinda blind if you will let you fire way in and see if I can come up with an answer for you ready all right. So… This is wrong with your first question, go for okay if you are in had it running. Not Debbie W back in the 80s or 90s. Who would you have want to work with that of guest three superstars and why good question to see a lot as we bless you what, why didn't I go to the WW health and we just did address that for those who are listening to the Q&A today and I never really felt prompted to do that, you know, the NWA Jim Crockett promotions are the ones you gave me my break in professional wrestling. In looking back, I feel confident to say I could've probably what it does have made that that jump to the W to be often don't live probably be 10 times the money, but it wasn't really just all about the money for me even though II really viewed it as a business on it was more so just out of my my loyalty to the to the end of the I like to say look NWA for life.

You know all but that said that even recently people consistently will bring this up, and somebody actually did a picture of of Hogan on one side me on the other side with Russell made the wrestlemania moniker on top and and up so that was certainly that would've made a probably would've been a moneymaker and that would do a pretty good crowd, so shall you be remiss if I didn't say Hulk Hogan.

It would've been fun to step in the ring against Hogan, I would probably say though much will mean Randy Savage will you to get the right to the module mad. That would've been. I think a very colorful man. Actually, maybe I just said that way in more ways than one. And then you know what is.

As even as you asked that question is people who asked me did I ever Russell Andre the giant in the answers no, although we we cross passes a few times and you were peers in the business but that I think might have made for an interesting match as well to go against Andre the giant. Now the outcomes for those who just wondering.

Well, hello, I mean the Russian nightmare would've persevered in and come out on top with everyone of you. I guess everyone of those guys I'm just saying right just little confidence in myself there. Jonathan Russian chain match pressure Russian chain mad chef who left that little question that you so who audible out of the maybe some of the opponents. I had a Russian chain match against it did this. Anyone that quickly come to memory for you and one of my favorite the Stinger's we had you want to quit. Funny story about a Russian chain match against thing, but that what you want to click a quick funny story about why I will absolutely I think it's funny. Stephen think it was so funny but exited a two-part interview on another man up the man up, show with thing we have to talk about this a wee wee revenue. I say we reminisce about it so I miss Chicago go chain match existing because one of things I do is wrap reps chain around somebody's neck right from over the top rope and and portray that I'm hanging down right what I announced to me staying was II wrapped around his neck through over the top rope and obviously yanking on that chain and it had the key is to get your fingers those you can kind of visualize this between your knack and the chain so you can actually breathe well. It was so tight that the more he moved in, the more I portray that I sang in the, the more it cinched up and was starting to cut off his his his error is there air air air Recap read add and the referees out there and and I'm looking at fan reaction. I'm like wow he's like really put this over with little I know is about choked out.

It was at that time that I finally released it and he was able to catch his breath and he said he was with. I think within seconds of of passing out the show 11 Russian chain match story for you this question that the road is one of my favorites of all, I honestly think he should've been a preacher, would it written on the microphone but only one year, favorite memories with the American dream man can dream, too sweet to be, if you we gave the loop up with everybody likes to imitate dusty ride.

I just had to throw that in there for you and all of our listeners.

Jonathan favorite memory would just you know this. There's so many memories so that they come flooding back in. Yeah, I think about the arm wrestling thing that we we did in the ring to set up an angle and then eventually, obviously, why would I say obviously one of the greatest memories was when I made the turn in Charlotte North Carolina from from bad guy to good guy when I when I came into the cage and attacked Oli Anderson and and went on to be JJ Dillon and and the eruption from the crowd and we created that the superpowers is certainly a a fond fond memory that really led into a friendship outside of a business relationship that I have would dusty to where we would travel up and down the road riding in his red Mercy convertible Mercedes from town to town, and it really just creating a friendship creating a bond create the love for one another that that lasted until his passing. Also remember watching one of the interviews where he had the cowboy hat on the fark out.

You are the only man in Siberian. I can walk around with your shirt off.

That's over that I've ever because I think I have my shirt off right for code out of the cowboy hat and I have my shoe I think is old maybe the US belt at the time. If I remember correctly we have ever ever say the Nikita didn't automatically walk around.

Maybe with it with a skit Oli is that tough of a meal and you appreciate Rebecca great memory I have diver baby what one maybe two more questions. If you have a job. The okay wargames has to present. Who would you pick he could take anyone to be in a cage with the wall that's a great question while you know I say often imitated, never duplicated. I know over the years.

They tried to duplicate that that wargames match but I say there's nothing like the original, including the four Horsemen, but also the superpowers teamed up with Legion of doom road warriors along with precious Paul Ellery. Now I guess it I will wanted to just step out in and say you I mean, there's so many guys that you have to considered it to be on that list, a mere one from AAA H to Shawn Michaels to I mean you guys would be hard to pick and choose on honestly mean there's a guy WB Rall right now actually interviewed him on the on the man up MacMahon up show Jackson Riker who looks phenomenal. You know, a physique in the ring and so there's quite a number of him, but you know course and we had sting squadron.

Later Andre was staying in and Ricky the Dragon steamboat Dustin Rhodes and asked him some grades there as well.

But just so many to choose from would be hard to narrow mall down and you don't Have a face team in acute payment, maybe a couple yes a couple alternatives a couple alternates that's exactly right. So let's offer one more question what we got.

Okay.

Looking back on your career would eat what three matches what you say stand out in your great question Great American Bash, 1985 against the nature boy Ric flair will vary first. I mean, I'm only 13 months into the business. Jonathan and at that point on the world taking champion a world. Six men, champion and arm wrestling the world heavyweight champion the nature boy for his title as so certainly that's that first and foremost, that's one that comes to mind is sick.

I really do very you are tough up at the very first wargames. The very first one. The original one case in that arena that night. It was so electrifying.

I mean I is hard even put it in words what that experience was like a because none of us really knew for sure because it never been done before we do know what to expect, what would happen but to see the fans on their feet for you know 1/2 hour plus and you never sitting down just out of the excitement was was very, very memorable, and then the other one wasn't necessarily a match but what's most talked about for me is the best-of-seven series against Magnum TA for the US title and so in fact that that's it bye-bye fan poll everywhere I go. Autograph signs everywhere else that's that's the most talked about out of all all the all the matches there's others with those of those probably rank in the top three great matches. Well yeah not happy and I appreciate you you you have Z been a fan for a long long time.

Yeah I grew up I was a maniac in Endo actually did know about you till later on I will turn on WWI Saturday night and saw staying in and I watched the Monday night wars over the years and just got Debbie Debbie network actually went back you know and just watch some of the old Jim Crockett promotions and enough so some your matches diminished so much lower than he can't possibly catch up and I was just great old-school wrestling fan.

I want to know more in the new. Honestly, I appreciate I see it all the time up to did you repeat it over and over again. We love love love are our fans. You guys are the greatest.
