Get It? Got It? Good!, Part 1

Let's be perfectly transparent. Sometimes the words of Jesus surprises like sometimes when we read what Jesus said where kinda perplexed his stories, his metaphors leave us scratching our heads today on Insight for living trucks went all this teaching from Matthew chapter 13 in this section of Scripture, the writer recorded several different stories from Jesus during today's program truck provides helpful context, so we can fully understand what Jesus was saying to his disciples job title. You certainly need him.

But when you pass from this life to the next. That's the only thing you will have. To claim is your ticket into his heaven, trusting him with your heart, all your heart, lean only on him.

Be assured that he paid the complete penalty for your sin and at any time you wish. In this service or any place around here or any time at home. The Lord grips you.

You turn your heart over to him. Once you've done that never have to do that again you are eternally secure.

Once you trust in Jesus.

Until then, you're not at all secure now for the second message of the day.

I like to have you turn to Matthew chapter 13 really looking at verses 44 through 52. As we continue on through these short stories that Jesus told when he was modeling with the massive, but as in this case when he is with a small group of his disciples will see how I know that when we get into it. They dragged it up onto the shore and set down and sorted the good fish into crates, but through the bad ones away. That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The Angels were common. Separate the wicked people from the righteous throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace for there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Do you understand all these things. Yes, they said we do. A mosquito penetrate the skin of a human being and within a matter of hours if not before long. That day, there's dysentery high fever, loss of energy, and quite possibly brought to the doors of death, just a mosquito may not seem that important. If a person is not inspired by what the subject is you as a listener will never be inspired to return while watching one this past week and I haven't watched many in my life but I was told about it from a friend of mine on. I got on the Internet pulled one of those fascinating I thought about watching Jesus would have been the perfect 10 presenter think about perfect impeccable material that grabs attention ideas so original. Many had never heard the things before and memorable delivery. How about reimagining your life after hearing Jesus speak everyone of us would many did in his day and talk about Ted talk going viral.

They could be distracted by whatever noise or whatever birds of the air. Whatever sounds in the distance, but I read nothing of their being distracted.

He tells them first about souls and soil as he describes see the throne on four different kinds of soil.

And you're listening because you never heard anything like that before.

Nobody ever told that story before he realized soon that it isn't about dirt and actual seeds.

It's about the soul and having the seed of truth someone in some souls were hard. Some hearts are shallow, some are preoccupied and busy submit did their first ready to take the true that we know all of that because Jesus himself interpreted when you get to verse 24 he tells another story on this one is about week and weeds of opening that never heard this story before, though they have seen it through their lives, but he has a story to tell them so they can understand how right and wrong grow up together because the weeds would give a poisonous green were as the sweet nourishing product rather than talking about shirking out the weeds early pieces let them grow together, you're curious about that, but right and wrong continue then what he doesn't tell he doesn't interpret that story until you get to verse 36 look at the verse in Matthew 13 we read, leaving the crowds outside Jesus went into the house with his disciples. And then there is the harvest which is the end of the world and there are the harvesters the Angels who separate the righteous from the unrighteous. There is much dialogue there because the story of the unrighteous is a very sad ending. We read in verse 42, the Angels throw them into the fiery furnace for there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I know I you going to the universities and set on the teachers who mock stuff like this you been taught otherwise.

Or maybe you grew up in a family that was; hell are you kidding I love the literal lake of fire. But let me ask you since he's never lied to us before, why would he now lied to us here. If there's nothing to it.

What would prompt him to say what he does here at even say a similar thing.

A little later as were going to see today if there is in the literal lake of fire and if there isn't literal eternal torment just because it makes us uncomfortable. Doesn't make it an accurate were intrigued by what we should be more than that. I think the disciples were receiving read back into the disciples centuries of time we give them credit for knowing things that I don't believe they put together yet. I think their jaws often dropped open as he told him what he had to tell the see what he says at the end of verse 43 and I say to everyone of you.
