Gordon leaves the use of the CDC approximately 1 million Americans were injured annually as result of falling on ice and snow computer Roseburg as a caregiver for my wife more than 35 years. I understand the importance of helping someone with a mobility impairment get in and out of the home safely, particularly in inclement weather and that's why this winter. I'm using heat track their snow and ice melting mats that you just plug in and they provide you a safe walkway to your garage to your mailbox to your deck to your business. Whatever the need, keep track has a mat that will fit that need and make sure that you can get him safely during snow and ice. You don't have to plow you don't have to shovel and you don't have to worry about falling because you're walking on something that is safe and secure and dry this winter.

Let's stay out of the emergency room. Let's make sure were safe. Go to heat track.com but in the coupon code caregiver for special discount Christmas time or anytime of the year he track makes a great gift, go to heat track.com coupon code caregiver and I do hope we caregiver the Spiros loading. This is the program for you as a family caregiver are you feeling are you doing you know I love that song of grace get in the studio this week and was recording us all that Gary Chapman wrote for. He wrote the solute is heard treasure and she's recording that were working that up and it's a wonderful solid look for to share that with you at some point in the near future, and this is a it was good for her to get back in there and get back in this way you think she's had a rough year. Most of you know I think that will regularly listen to the program that she had a terrible fall right before Labor Day and broke her femur and they had the life flyer over to Billings, Montana, and they had to operate on her and it was spent. It's been a pretty rough year for then right after that, excuse me, she lost her mother, her mother passed away, so this is but a very hard year for her and I was glad to see her singing.

One of things we have found over the years with the two of us is the music Hans Christian Anderson said that when words fail. Music speaks and as musicians grace you have been able to sometimes go to the piano and just thing about playing we just didn't have the words and lease it shall sing a lot of these old hymns and just go through when she delivers it was such a wonderful richness to her voice and still recording of breathe on me, breath of God, you know that him breathe on me, breath of God and my mother's in the ICU couple years ago and she was in pretty bad shape and she couldn't bring she's you had. She had congestive heart failure and she was she was in bad shape and she could speak. They had a trach but she had laughed out that she wanted Gracie to sing this him breathe on me, breath of God and Gracie's that there in ICU with my mother about it was kind of a role reversal because my mother spent some times with Gracie in the hospital and my mother's name is Mary and Gracie's first name is Mary.

So you have two Mary Rosenberger's and it was really funny. Years ago, monkey. But to be with Gracie. When grace is in the hospital but that mom and I were to fall and she broke her leg and she was in the same hospital that Gracie was in and I had we had to Mary Rosenberger's in there, but I was afraid that the doctor would would go in there and see mom and get the chart mixed up with Gracie because I still call Gracie Mary when she's in the hospital in the mixed up submittals Roseburg your legs grew back. It's a miracle it's a buddy like Gracie was singing to her. The ICU and I washed all these nurses leaned her head there, they just stopped and they all just listened as she sang breathe on me, breath of God, a friend of mines husband just passed away this week. I've been friends with them for 30+ years and I sent the link of Gracie singing it to them just a cappella. Because these old hymns mean something this music mean something to us that that lately any interest in the theology is just so strong.

This led to the song so I love the things I'm glad to see Gracie get back in the studio is speaking of a friend of mine passed away. This is this our time here for a lot of folks the Christmas and I'm not insensitive to that Christmas can be very difficult for caregivers for for so many people we see the empty chair. We we sometimes have it in a hospital or gathered around a hospital bed that's in the home. There's all kinds of different things that are hardy for Christmas so you have love ones who would much rather fill their lives with with alcohol or drugs than with the love of a family that desperately wants to love and some of you are are in prison. I get letters from a lot of inmates that listen to this program and one of them is a guy named Carl.

Carl and I message. Of note, Carl. If you list this morning and I want to know how much appreciated your letter you Carl from Texas serving time right now and I appreciate that very much that you listen and that you trust me with your loneliness and your sadness and I know that this is a time of year when when the settlement and the nostalgia in the. The loneliness could overtake us and III appreciate this network that is so widely broadcast. We don't know when we are recording a program like this are doing it live like I do that where it's going to go who's listening, who's driving right now that it just had to turn it on and are struggling with loneliness and we don't know but we we want to be faithful to put it out there and keep saying this message that you're not alone.

And aren't you grateful for the network that has the Scope of this Windows and all are all our affiliates.

The Truth Network is ready on all these others that are banded together to communicate the gospel far as the curse is found, you know that you know that him Isaac Watts wrote it. It's joy to the world which is one of the greatest hymns of all and Isaac Watts wrote that lyric and any sitting there far as the curse is found, far as the curse is that it was he referring to will is referring to when back in Genesis, when the curse was was pronounced upon mankind for the sin that was done. No more. Let sin and sorrows grow, nor thorns in fast the ground. Remember that he said you have to toil by the sweat of your brow, the forms and so forth.

He comes to make his blessings flow far as the curse is found, far as the curse is found, far as the current so Jesus became the curse he that is is Fars that is found around the entire globe. He broke that and I love that you do this just a C major scale of C, but the system is the major scale general practice give those UPS did you ever practice your skills will that's it.

Joy to the world's this that is the gospel in one major scale. One phrase Joy to the world, the Lord is come close. Isaac Watts with great hymn writers of all time, wrote this amazing text.

If you go back and look at all the text of a lot of these Christmas cells and in it is a great that cancel culture hasn't figured out yet how powerful the gospel is the things you know because otherwise they would be hit 56 but you know if Facebook did in fact check. Evidently joy to the world or they did there not you know they're not considered surrogate saying the gospel. It does the same thing with Hark the Herald Angels Sing Chris Mendelssohn wrote the tune but it was Charles Wesley wrote the lyrics glory to the newborn King. Peace on earth and mercy about God and sinners reconciled joyful all you nations rise join the tribe of the skies. With the angelic host proclaim Christ is born in Bethlehem and its use of a desert powerful lyrics that we could hang onto the best of this mild he lays his glory by CPC leasing.

Sometimes I don't realize what was singing mild he lays his glory spot.

What a beautiful white what we say this, he humbly condescended to us and this is born that man no more may die, born to raise the sons of earth or to give them second earth mild he lays his glory by and these are these are powerful words that mean something in the midst of our our inks are loneliness our fearfulness or heartache, isolation to my new friend Carl in a Texas prison. These words mean something.

So that's that's why these these wonderful hymns of the season and then we would sing of your own, but don't ever forget that you know I just I love these love these these hymns and so just grateful to be able to share them with you. And as we start to restart a new year at the beginning you will will do more of these things will have more and I want you to always feel free to call in and ask for one that you feel special to you that mean something to you and I will keep introducing them to you as we move forward because I think that in the midst of our craziness. This is what is going to mean something to us to anchor us so that we don't lose perspective and as you as you go to the season. There are some there's some people that I would ask you to keep in mind as you pray, lift mom certainly all these victims and tornadoes in these folks and imprisoned. Jesus said, naked hungry prison thirst these things he's looking for us for bucks and are we doing that so I introduced one inmate to you today. His name is Carl text asked him in a powerful way. This Christmas is there's another one in North Carolina. His name is John.

Some of you know the remarkable story of Peter's wife Gracie and recently Peter talk to Gracie about all the wonderful things that emerge from her difficult journey. Take a listen Gracie. When you envision doing a prosthetic limb outreach. Did you ever think the inmates would help you do that, not in a million years.

When you go to the facility run by core civic and you see the faces of these inmates that are working on prosthetic limbs that you helped collect from all of the country that you put out the plea for and their disassembly sell these legs like what you have your own prosthetic arms and orange everything when you see all this makes me cry because I see this miles on their faces and I know what it is like someplace where you can't get out without somebody else allowing you to get out me in the hospital. These men are so glad to be doing is one thing said something good with my did you know before you became in a PT that parts of prosthetic limbs could be recycled and had no idea I thought Peg leg. I thought of wooden legs.

I never thought of titanium and carbon legs and flexibly see legs and all that.

I never thought about. As you watch these inmates participate in something like this, knowing that there there helping other people available providing the means for the supplies to get over there. What does it do to you. Just on the heart level. I wish I could explain to the world. What I see in here and I wish that I can be able to come and say the this guy right here in East Africa with that.

I never not feel that way out every time you know you always make me have to leave.

I don't want to leave.

I feel like I'm at home with them and I feel like that we have a common bond that would've never expected that only God could put together.

Now that you've had experience with it what you think of faith based programs. The core civic offers.

I think there is absolutely awesome and I think every person out there that have faith-based programs because he return right at the men that are involved in this particular faith-based program and other ones like it, but I know about this one car is an amazingly low rate here is that that is with me just has something to do with God to help people want to donate a use prosthetic limb, whether from a loved one who passed away or you know somebody well-groomed you donated some of your own for the data out of the please go to staining with.com/recycle gain experience. We
