Caregiver this is the missions 2 as a family behold was going on with this shows for the folks stay up late at night was a push the wheel through the woods mop and cleaned it up go to work, do it all over again.

Go back and forth doctors offices deal with pharmacist insurance companies mental health facilities. Name it wants to go through tons and tons of bills and paperwork to the EOB's special needs children.

All the above that affects the family caregiver there somebody different scenarios.

There's always caregiver when you have a mental illness. There's always caregiver we have an alcoholic. When you have an addict is a chronic impairment.

You have a caregiver there's always somebody indicators the they without mercy beat themselves up and look at their job performance. In this show has introduced the concept okay if you go to judge yourself by your job performance that I'm asking to be fair and judge yourself by your attendance record as well which is flawless because you keep showing up and I don't care how bloodied and bedraggled you are when you show up and you probably swearing under your breath sometimes I get it, but you keep showing up. This shows for you and were glad that you with this. 888-589-8840 888-589-8840 if you want to be a part of the show now. I tried this last week and the show. I usually try to take the calls as they come because I want to to talk to you where you are and if that's where you are today. It's okay to you can call in go whatever direction you want to go was a caregiver. Whatever's on your heart but I do try to introduce themes to you and lastly quick tried very hard introduce of humor to you guys and if evidently nobody was in the mood for it and so given was going on our country. I understand that. However, we still's could use a little bit humor and I want to start off with with some scriptures on that, but first of what it will not give one scripture here. Ecclesiastes 3 for we all know this. A time to weep and a time to laugh.

Now we as caregivers, you know, we have plenty of weeping going on in her life. I'm in my 35th year as a caregiver.

I get for those you just now joining the show we have people coming to the show all the time.

Most of the accident. I hear you hear that a lot of you have found your show, by accident here stumbled into your show. I was either planning a listener, you showed us, but we hear that a lot, but it resonates with caregivers that the topic of what were doing, resonates with the folks they hear somebody speaking in their language. I liken it to you. Go overseas and we work over in West Africa been doing that since 2015 with a prosthetic limb outreach. My wife envision after she gave up both of her legs and when you go over to the country that you everybody speaks differently than you do. Even even if they speak the same language.

The the exit and so forth. This different and if you're in the airport of the marketing hear somebody talking in your dialect, your exit, particularly if for the South like I am facing my talk southern over there may in your ear can pick that out of a crowded market and I've done that and it it just tugs at your ears, it will somebody speaking my language. That's what this shows speak your language I speak fluent caregiver here, but the good news better net. Is it caregivers our Savior's native tongue. That's that's who he is. That is who our Savior is. He is the ultimate caregiver for a wounded bride put that dedication in my book. Hope for the caregiver and at the beginning is solus Christus Christ alone.

The ultimate caregiver of a wounded bride and the body of Christ is indeed a wounded bride and he loves us bright and she's wounded and he cares for and that's us and so I wanted to do leadoff with something so that we we have tons of weeping in our lives. Tons of DME laughter. Scripture says there's a time to weep it in a time to laugh. Psalm 126 two then her mouth was filled with laughter at our tongue with joyful shouting and they said among the nations.

The Lord has done great things for them. That's what they're saying about people. The people of God. They said there there say this among the nations are looking at us and they're saying wow the Lord is done great things for them and you know that people look at you as you endure the things that you do as a caregiver. They look at me. They look at you, they look at us as believers and are they saying while the Lord is done great things for them. You know they can say that while we push Wiltshire it's it's absolutely mind-boggling to the but they can they do that.

I've often said that my wife when she goes into a room causes a theological discussion in the minds of people in the room she will.

She wears her legs uncovered.

She has to prosthetic load she wears uncovered as a little girl robotic and Gracie is very beautiful go out to my website. Hope for the caregiver.coven Josie and she just lights up a room.

She's gotta a belly laugh that is that a you know she she could rival drop Vikings the way she laughs and it's an enigma to people how can you go through all the stuff you've gone through 80 surgeries whatever and she are goofy and and and she'll come into a room, though, laughing, and people will look at her with just incredulity because her saying wow something is different here. There's extreme suffering we see it, and yet there's joy. And you know they can do the same thing with you that I know that there are times when when we don't go into a room with laughing. There times when we are weeping. We've had plenty of but there is a time to laugh, his will, and so I wanted to introduce the concept of will tell you a couple funny stories along the way I want to hear yours if you got something that's just hilarious that hit you along the way and you think it's funny you don't bring off, listless laugh about it and I'll give you few VARs that I think will cause you to left.

Also will start off with a song that I think that you guys will but a lot of you will know but I will see if you know it, and this was my favorite him when I was about five or six years old.

This was my favorite him that we signatures or something about the way the melody hit and that the music and the pace of it in that the tempo so forth and I just loved it and so I thought I'd see if you know this, you, I will step over here to the caregiver PO and is coming on the course you know that 888-589-8840 888-589-8040. If you know that he lives, that was exit my favorite him first him that everything favorite him for that. Was it when I was about five or six years old and never forget.

But there was a pastor at this church in Atlanta and the assistant pastor there knew that was my humor, for whatever reason he his name was Jim and he will be sing that song. He would make a point to two connect that with me. You know, and after the service and I just love that him so if you know that him 888-589-8840 and I give another Scripture about laughter.

Luke 621 blessed this is Jesus to Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall let it if you look at the of the amplified version of that it it unpacks it blessed that you forgiven refreshed by God's grace are you who weep now over your sins and repent for you will laugh when the burden of sin is lifted. You will laugh and and so this is the promise that God has and I want you as my fellow caregivers to know that there is a time to laugh, and there are funny things that happened along the way and it's okay to laugh and if you have a story like that.

This is your timeshare at 888-589-8840 if you know the song that I played ill him 888-589-8840 and will take your calls that I got a funny story but I got several stores up to Gracie and me along the journey and I think you know it if you got something is breaking your heart think that's okay.

888-589-8840. This is Peter Rosenberg… Hope caregiver. This is the show for you as a family care your time, take advantage of ever let the stove on. I will be honest you know you have. We all have and the smoke fills up the kitchen. The smoke detector goes off the dog starts barking, the phone is ringing and there's pandemonium everywhere.

Had you like something to avert with his new invention called fire avert. It plugs into your stove and it pairs with your smoke detector in the moment the smoke detector goes off, it shuts off the heat source to the stove, gas or electric and make sure that it doesn't turn into a fire. We have a lot of things going on all the time and a kitchen fire is not on the list of things we need to be stressed out about let's take that off the table.

And what about your loved one who's living alone or what about families with special needs child who may accidentally leave aluminum foil on the plate put in the microwave or fork of the plate and it starts looking up. These are things that we can avert with fire avert FIR EAV ERT go out there look at it today was invented by firemen who got tired of being called to homes and seen all the damage that could have been avoided.

And so we came up with a great idea that did this and guess what it's working and hundreds of thousands of homes across the country are using fire, avert, let yours be one of the fire avert.com FIR EAV ERT.com use the promo code caregiver and get an even greater discount of the already low price.

It's a great gift to give to yourself to love one to a caregiver.

You know, fire, avert.com promo code caregiver. This is your week and I will just about aluminum watching all the calls, login here and were having some problems with the phone system are we not marked in I don't know what's going on because were getting. I mean this is the whole thing is lit up with something is happening in their dropping. So Mark if you let you sort that out while he's doing all this but it is 888-589-8840 888-589-8840 if you want to be a part of the show and I think Mark is working on the phone list for whatever reasons is going a little bit wonky and that I hear that sometimes Facebook is extremely stream the show on Facebook and I hear that it's having a difficult time as well. But you know what we just do the best we can with what we got and that's not that's that's yet to call Mark Zuckerberg on that one Facebook so absurd that you want to call Mark Zuckerberg anyway at 888-589-8840 if you want to be a part of the show. I wouldn't talk about laughter today, and hopefully Mark get all the bone months without you. I'm thinking the colonnade I may just try to grab one of it just go straight laugh marking money let you screen it just go with see if I can do that night. Good morning this is Peter how are you doing tell me who you are because Bosch call screening software is messed up so it's going to just go straight to Mesa tell me who you are, where your Shirley. Shirley Mesquite, Texas, and what and how are you feeling this morning I Fail great coffee making right now. I think I tried to have a time for chronic not get that song I and my every day you go with that is that is a that was my favorite song when I was little boy is still as I love the look in my heart there reasonability and then I thought about that for us today because I'm going to talk about some things today that you know make us laugh little bit in. Do we have joy or do we walk around and forget you don't tell this to anybody okay but just keep this quiet, but when we lived in Nashville. We lived there for 35 years we just moved out to Southwest Montana. But a national Sunday morning on one of the TV stations there. There was a church that had rented the time about that airtime on local TV station in the nose get up and get around the house I turn on the news something in this. This was one of the major affiliate networks there and network affiliates international and they had this group up there singing. There's about 8 to 10 folks and they had them into two rows that somebody is at the piano and they were singing and it was the most horrific experience to watch. I mean it was it was like you don't fingernails on a chalkboard to listen to these people and they were so dour and stuff that their music was bad. It's just that they look like they were at a funeral and I thought, as believers, do we not have enough joy to light up our faces you know and that's why love that here in my heart there rings ability of heavens harmony and you know it it it makes you just feel like you just kinda you know able to skip down a country road. Would you sing that song and I love that song. And so I'm glad that you knew that Shirley Shirley are you a caregiver caregiver who did you take care of cancer will how did it go for you where you might follow Caleb and how we PS have and I beat myself up for two years after he passed thinking that I would be able to get him on his pain again.

Now I'm in Anaheim got this all about God and my Lord tells me one night. Shirley prepare I'm going to take him and I had it in my heart that okay is going to happen. Get ready and then happening yourself right back into thinking going on now going to going to make it going tonight going to fight for now you know my comment now can't very well run the Yale robs the caregiver especially here related. Now I have never been and I have been a caregiver for others. Even my mother. My dad for one week before he died on just others in my family that I never had to canine that I can do this myself making sand stilettos has been. I did because he was only been married a long time and I knew exactly what I needed to do and I dependent upon the Lord to help me get that yet. I pick the brains so many times and during that time and down and as an things began to really shutdown now.

He began to be self-contained that it gets too crazy and I can remember taking him to have escaped bonded because they were falling out our day with this outlay think and you and I had given him for an appetite and enhancers hungry now taken to the Dennis got his parcel went back and I remember driving and I was just so sleepy how this is thank God that There and I pounded his parcel and two. The parcel but said bonded exchange tonight so were driving back home and we have a big curve to get on 635 and hearing Mesquite and as I made that current balance really going fat without the direct it had everything he could blow well well well.

Laughing and putting on the bright when we got home, I plan on so tired and I tried to leave you here in the living I just called and have bad twitch within the living ran his hospital bed and fell asleep and when I woke it was dark and the rain glanced over and could see him sitting in the cavity was leaning forward with his elbows on his agent is looking at me wanting to let me got it lately. I think you just worn out. This is it, what is he that was telling me what he saw and even my daughter made a comment that he was so alert to see how you are driving recklessly with him on those drugs and he said that is a marvelous thing and will you know that's it.

That's a sweet memory that you slow down maybe slow down already got kids I don't need to get something else here and so I get that in and I love that.

I think it makes it it brings a smile to your face. You know, even after all the heartache that you guys went through and in Shirley. I do very much appreciate you got. I'm glad you got the song in my heart there rings ability to love, that is within my heart of a melody and that a great him though will I do and I love it and I think from what I understand, I'm the only live radio show in the country that has a keyboard hooked up to the borescope you placed the sticks but that music is a big part of my life and the hymns are big part of my life and I love how I was Shirley I got a job here because we have some problem with the phone system. Let it get through some of the jump on this, but thank you very much for the call and thanks for listening on it.

Let me go to good morning, you're on the air live here because his best ups at WW name just a first name and where you from our nonprofit know and all right where you from a North Carolina market steel yes I have heard from South Carolina so you know I lot of places but anyway I will tell me a funny story this morning and as you try to call you and Mark can't answer the board. It will you pick up it won't go there so just hang tight will get to you because of dissension live on the air because I succumb to God I am so go ahead. What's a lost delusion when she hung up there so 888-589-8840. I was think about when Shirley was Thomas, but her husband and say well whoa whoa we we live in Southwest Montana. We become night for many, many, many years Grace's family has a playset here in Greece. I decided to move out here from Nashville, but early on in her journey as a amputee. I will talk about humor this morning.

Her journey is a 50 we set to go horseback riding weather Gracie at the time she had these particular prostheses that were called a pin lock system and there's little button on the inside of the prosthesis kind of right below the knee area where your your calf is and that would release the pin lock that would do this and it it was it and she was riding the horse and she's wearing straight leg jeans and the horse was below and her legs, flapped against the saddle and it release the legs and the legs dropped, but they got stuck in the straight leg jeans it at the bottom and and so she is she's seen the horse. The horse is really confused because here's Gracie's legs are beating this horse to make it go faster and it does possess what horses do when you kick the veggies. It's got these two flapping legs there and Gracie screaming for all she's worth and my son and all the sudden, chased her down on our horses and got her and for the horse done it, but she couldn't.

She couldn't put her legs back on until she got back to be able take her jeans off to put legs on and so I cut ahead of pulled took them all the way through the genes and by sun up but wanted the obscuring one across the palm of my saddle and my son put the other one in the rifle scabbard on the saddle and he was muttering the hotel while eating his mother's horse was quite a moment for us. Though there is a time to laugh. This fee Roseburg… Hopefully caregiver will be right.

I'm Peter Rosenberger and this is your caregiver minute.

Most caregivers readily take someone else to see a physician, what was the last time we saw our physician, we often grow so weary of taking others to a doctor's office at the thought of going to another one order taking time off of work again.

When is just too much caregiving can be daunting and relentless those challenges set the desire to fix a healthy meal, much less schedule time to go to yet another doctor visit yet that visit could very well save a caregivers life caregiving can often feel like a full contact sport and it's hard in the body as well as the heart make the call. Keep the appointment for yourself as a caregiver.

Doing so ensures treatment of the one body standing between your vulnerable love one. And even worse disaster and that yours. This is been your caregiver minute with Peter Rosenberger brought to you by standing with hope.

A ministry for the wounded and those who care for them. There's more information@standingwithhope.com hope.com and just click on receiving hopefully caregiver.com see how to get that CD is a great CD. She does a great job on our phone lines are all messed up slugs go to them cold. I have no idea who's on who's doing what. So we're just going to do the best we can about that. So I got a lot of calls lined up that I can answer them love but art call screener that the studio can't so just bear with us. So let me just jump right here. I good morning tell me your name and where are you from, but W in a beginning, it was a little bit muffled. Hello Mary you from Baton Rouge well that's okay by me. If it's okay by you. All right today what's on your heart and mind this morning how you feeling you have a Job all right give it give it your best shot.

There Mary, talking with chatting with her friend over for frown so I can walk after Street to go and Mark so when they got the door going out and 38 to help brand so one guy you know what happened.

Exit 230 Marriott you know you got me on that one. That's funny. Let's go get an action 238 let's go Mary.

Thank you very much for making me laugh on that with that's funny thing that would give. There's a time to laughter's Olympic let me jump on this a good morning here on the air W name away from my name is Patrick Bentall and I are given information your show information to a lot of people.

I captured every time I can when I'm on the road on the weekends and I know in my heart, my wife and I are going to be caregiver or parent and you you are your your your ministry. The blessing, but I'll be very brief lock collar. The music on the show started a showing. I want to know who that is that that music but anything you be the the opening theme song yet. Only I wrote that that with a buddy of mine Chris like he is a Grammy award-winning engineer from Nashville and years ago we went to college together fight. He was sitting. I he knew who Gracie was before I did.

He was sitting in chapel the day they NASA. Gracie had a car wreck.

This is a Belmont University in Nashville and then I got to know Chris after I transferred it after Gracie's writing, no grace when she had a wreck and up but he was working out at Opryland in Nashville and he was working on the tin Lizzie's the old Tommy cars and he had this little melody in his head that he was working on and then unbeknownst to him, I was working on a groove on guitar for that and it was and I was I was just playing the screen and I got together with the mess that I need to have a theme song and so we got together and wrote this thing and we never did put lyrics to it. I think because you this is the thief Peter show this is the ship I don't know what to do with it but it's I wrote things over that and how I wanted yeah I will know that I don't have it. I don't have anywhere from people can download it or anything like that. I just got it embedded in the song, but you can listen to it every time I play this the show but it's yeah I wanted something that was a little bit more energetic and and positive because some people to think of caregivers Patrick they coming they just know they want to play dirge music and and I want something that had some energetic caregiver since I was 22. Okay, so you can't you can't go this long, like seven the 35th year of this and just sit around and just play and sing dirge music and and and sad music you got happy need a lot. I grew up listening. Great stuff.

You know the me that I had the privilege to grow it up in the 70's work.

We had great music back there and so I just wanted something that was little bit more peppy and and energetic.

So I wish I could fit it somewhere you could download it but it's it's not out there just on my show and about Chris and I wrote that in that which you can listen to every liquid you when you two did the show. I will will thank you very much and thanks for my thankfulness of the show would be a part of what were doing here.

Let's go the list here. Good morning dear on the show live. Tell me your name away from my lawsuit with Mike Steele, Hegel, Peggy, if you hang on just a couple get another because I have to answer them love and I will put them on hold Hegel just one second okay I hang on looking to come back to you because were doing his level. All this all this talent and I got great here too.

In this amazing kid with height on will come back to you. I was go to pick out what happened why we lost you but your and my Castille North Carolina tell me some Timmy Timmy, first of how you feeling today what I might not parent Her what my dad my mom on eventually do not laserlike when thanks for not doing under carrack when she was 17 and she could not walk. Paralyzed from Coming over to mom accounts and we had to carry her up. Well, my with their native Mary & I went to Cara that while I don't want you to care if you did part of that group through to get that guy to Jesus yelled to drop you confronted Jesus. Is that what you're saying you know we did a we did about how may have to bring this one back. Gracie did a commercial for me for the show.

Listen to Peter for hopefully caregiver. He's been my caregiver for over 30 years.

He's only drop me a couple times, but he slipped made me laugh in the emergency room.

That's a story of my life and you know we have actually we did a bit Jeff Foxworthy. I did bid on you might be a caregiver. If a while back and and we did together and one of the things I did he sit right out some joke subsidies or jokes. This is my life to Ed and one of them was if you've ever hooked up your your dog to your wife's wheelchair just to see if it would work that I did. I hope the poor dog back. He's an Aussie and I hooked about to her wheelchair and she's on her street. Becky best that I got the footage of this that she screams what he is really secret. I said, our youngest son was as a callback callback and he's just got a harder son. He's just racing up the street, pulling her the wheelchair. She's holding on ceramic night was just hilarious.

The you know there's a time to weep at a time to laugh and edged Shirley. You've got a lot of stuff in your life that is weep worthy but I'm glad that you found the time to laugh it and that you might want to get one of those lips that go up the stairs from now on.

How about that word got all going out guy happy I am happy 99% of current and are happy all the time.

If you're talking to caregiver mining God gives me a P and often he is saying to sing will thank you listen to me save us from something far worse than what were dealing with this caregivers and once we grant wrap their minds around that we can endure my character right now you are here only for because the bank money and I was angry about it or anything like that I get sounding weedkiller here a lot of people that contract that you right here right now and we know anything about that. That is, that his incursion he that's the reason Gracie did that song he you know the plans he has for us are beyond anything we can understand and yes there is weeping and weeping into it for the night but joy comes in the morning and that's what gives us the courage to be able to look at these things with joy with peace.

It doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt because it does Gracie have had you can go through what we've gone through not have great sorrow, but there are moments of this is the don't tell this to anybody else, okay.

You promise anybody else but I remember after her 80th surgery and they had to go in there and work on her elbow because a nerve is gotten past this is her 80th 80 that I could count and we were at Vanderbilt University in Nashville and went where were leaving I helped her get her dress back on afterwards. After the surgery helped her get her legs on and she's got her arm in a sling right so she's got these two metal leg sticking out from beneath her dress him one of her dress. She doesn't wear the skin covered on you go out and take a look at her website that she got her arm in a sling. Now Gracie when she goes to surgery. She doesn't just show up. She it's it's a production for her and she she said look, if I were going. I'm talkative about have my hair done everything else, so she got this beautiful woman goat don't take my word for go out Google or iGoogle are all the time and she is just a beautiful woman and and so here she is pushing the wheelchair into this elevator at Vanderbilt and she's got her arm in a sling and to robotic looking leg sticking out from beneath her him one of her of her dress in the elevator was one of these big elevators and everybody was just staring at her and the got to be a little bit annoying after a while they would just be so blatant and finally I just blurted out worst hysterectomy effort and everybody just started stared at their shoes it was so very, Gracie just looked at me and rolled her eyes as it is a little bit shot over my shoulder. She put up a fight God lover is it up and she laughed all the way to the car in her wheelchair after her 80th surgery to make a woman laugh after all that that was a good day's work, we gotta go to break this you will be right back. Thank you so much for the call over there in my Castille and Jo behave yourself will be right back Gracie Rosenberger 26 years ago I walked for the first time in two prosthetic legs.

Tell me your name and where you from my call right arm right now. I took care of my mother invited. I doubt I've got a pretty thing that an old dog bring about radio like going to college and and Graham contacted Eric to catch a lacking gravel area and people were worried that I had a high crime.

So long story short, my remaining life had adopted on a golden retriever rather well on it after getting the dog and I didn't expect that was very quick-acting. Go ahead year on their tell me your name and where you from Carolina, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Note know it. Glad to see how you doing in bed with this morning how you feeling my mother and father.

My dad back on Monday by my my my story of birth but the thing that happened on your caregiver you can look back and laugh at what my mother had Alzheimer's… A wheelchair and at the front door go that my mother put her in her walker and put her to the front door throughout our lives might have happened. When you walking around would put on a like not wide open and I had funny when I wonder we went to the doctor and I am out the front door. My mother and no actually a little mini stroke and looking back, no lie, no… It all happened to look back and laugh out we were so you don't and it wasn't that will those those wonderful moments to that you could slip back and so you know you just have to keep BI got a niece who is 32 years old and she is just cerebral palsy and she is development and disables well but like an 18 month old so she's immobile.

She's nonverbal and she's in a wheelchair all that and she laughs.

She did watch her laugh is just a joy. But now the things that make her laugh. If you hear any sounds that sound like body noises it just makes her just how with laughter and I have four brother, so I want you to do the math and figure out how many sales like that go around it, but it's a joy we all laugh with her because it's funny is just funny and if people have a hard time with that, you know, I don't know that I want to be friends with people that have a hard time with that because it's just life is just laughter and her name was Kelsey and she bring so much joy to we all get you. You could just scrape your foot across the floor.

It makes a sound. She thinks that's what it is that you start laughing and effect on mom and dad are listening right now at home in South Carolina and I know there laugh and think about it because it's just funny just life and so I thank you for that story with me. I really do appreciate that very much that you shared and and you behave yourself today over Fayetteville right now. I think I will your you're welcome you. I love doing it you I will tell you that you know your mom and dad there listening on their Alexa device when I say the word ALP XA it'll turn on everybody's to his fits within earshot, but my wife when I first got her one. You can listen to, you know the show, you can stream the show through AFR on Alexa and but when my wife first got set up with this and we were getting her going with her Alexa device she would argue because you have to speak in a way that the computer will recognize she would argue with. It would just be just insane moments and I came home one day and she was a lady that was there helping with her that day, and she'll back this up. Is this really happened and and I came home and Gracie sitting there in her wheelchair that day and and she's just fuming, just fuming, you see smoke coming out of your ears and my wife is a formidable woman she is.

She is tough to suffered trying smoke and NSO*what was going on and she said I've had it with you know who she did want to mention the name of the device because it would turn on. I've had about a trader in for Google and and I've just done. I just had I just had I just got a job as compared apart and I looked over at the election of I solicit Alexa how are you doing and I promise you I promise you this truly happened.

Alexa said to be honest is pretty pretty rough day, but my wife is broken Amazon. She brought it so much. That's about life and the that those of those are great moment. You just you know you just learn to laugh without go to Andrew Jacksonville. Simply wrap this up here Andrew, good morning how you feeling are your good morning I okay look like they only got about a minute now. Don't be a cost not only got about a minute Andrew how long we only got a minute so did you get right to it real quick.

I will have to cut you off to go hit real quick. Okay well Robert caregiver for my garden. Our neuronal and work phone. Time Warner originally 50 nor 55 years ago, and I expect that you know I believe in the Bible. At the same time I struggle with no believing the happiness of rejoicing after the weekly something I need to work on that. You need to work on it. I think what you let it. Worked on your behalf because if you try to manufactured and try to you okay I go to make myself feel happy, make myself feel joyful.

That's not the point. The point is you just focus on what God is done I let him handle better at it we are and you let him do the work in your life.

Once you understand just what it is that he has saved just what it is offering to then, the joy part will take care of okay. Immerse yourself in the goodness of God, and watch what happens in your life. I'm sorry we had to go so quickly here at the very end where the very last year but try that Andrew don't try to squint your eyes were hard to make yourself feel joyful. Just concentrate on the things of God is done he has done great things for you. For me, for all of us. And that's the message of hope for the caregiver. That's what we have hope this is Peter Rosenberger hope of the caregiver.com will see that this is John Butler I produce hope for the caregiver with Peter Rosenberger. Some of you know the remarkable story of Peter's wife Gracie and recently Peter talk to Gracie about all the wonderful things that have emerged from her difficult journey.

Take a listen Gracie. When you envision doing a prosthetic limb outreach. Did you ever think that inmates would help you do that, not in a million years. When you go to the facility run by core civic and you see the faces of these inmates that are working on prosthetic limbs that you have helped collect from all of the country that you put out the plea for and their disassembly sell these legs like what you have your own prosody and arms and orange everything when you see all this.

What do you make me cry because I see the smiles on their faces and I know I know what it is to be locked someplace where you can't get out without somebody else allowing you to get out course, being in the hospital so much and so long and so that these men are so glad that they get to be doing as as one man said something good family with my hands. Did you know before you became an amputee that parts of prosthetic limbs could be recycled now had no idea and I thought a peg leg. I thought of wooden legs. I never thought of titanium and carbon lags and flex the sea legs and all that.

I never thought about that as you watch these inmates participate in something like this, knowing that there there helping other people to walk the providing the means for the supplies to get over there. What is it due to you, just on the heart level. I wish I could explain to the world. What I see in here and I wish that I could be able to go and say the this guy right here Denise go to Africa with that.

I never not feel that way out every time you know you always make me have to leave.

I don't want to leave them. II feel like I'm at home with them and I feel like that we have a common bond that would've never expected that only God could put together. Now that you've had experience with it what you think of the faith-based programs. The core civic offers. I think they're just absolutely awesome and I think every prison out there should have faith-based programs like this because the return rate of the man that are involved in this particular faith-based program and other ones like it, but I know about this one are.

It is just an amazingly low rate compared to those who don't happen and I think that says so much that has anything to do with me just has something to do with God using somebody broken to help other broken people. If people want to donate or use prosthetic limbs, whether from a loved one who passed away or you know somebody well-groomed you donated some of your own for the how to how to do that now. Please go to standing with hope.com/recycle staining without.com/recycle. Thanks Grace
