Surviving while it can also be a very, very difficult financial journey as a caregiver, so I am thrilled to have him on the show with us today and I want to welcome Dr. Michael Grayson's website. By the way, is billed 850 credit.com billed 850 credit.com Dr. Grayson welcome when they hear how you did it but has to snow where you are I is coming up. I made a good job of shoveling it, but it was a nightmare for couple days were right now they're almost done there almost nonstop you get you because I live in Southwest Montana for the Rockies and you guys and have all was 18 inches because that's that's that.

We did have that right before Thanksgiving in November. But you know you with the call.

A lot of snow here Montana with them Wednesday will listen. I'm glad to have you here. Can we jump right into some things that you this is your world, but tell me what is a debt filter filtration very important concept gives little or no attention anywhere that I've seen so a debt filter is a system of government programs and laws that are designed to eliminate your bad debt and to restore your credit simultaneously without payment, bankruptcy, consumer credit counseling or debt consolidation credit repair any of that stuff using cancellation and forgiveness is the key word in any of yours don't remember anything else we talk about today's cancellation and forgiveness. That is the central idea behind that filtration will being a man of faith cancellation. Forgiveness is the cornerstone of you out of these are not new laws know these been around for a while that our forefathers instituted that filtration so that filtration is always on the boat. Each of the president has the ability to bring the man up and take them out as they see fit. So during when Obama first came in, there's a ton ill of of new debt filters introduced because of the mortgage crisis and other issues.

Now with Colby during the trump administration. They brought in the care that which is a very good debt filter. One of the best debt filters.

That's always been around since the very beginning. Call offer in compromise. So if you have a tax liability fueled the IRS more than 20 grand, you shouldn't be trying to pay that debt.

If you will, are having financial problems. You should be filtering the debt you know what I teach people my workshops and what we do for our clients. We see some out of filter and not pay a lot of he was struggling. They can barely make ends meet and they got the IRS paying it over to shoulder, you know.

And once you make a deal with the IRS. You know those guys don't really care. They just want you to pay. However, you can bypass the payment method by going straight to get filtration so instantly.

Usually IRS at 120.

Jesus debt filter should be thinking debt filter OIC so you don't know proper debt filter is Google it led to guess. Okay you had a guest what percentage of people know about the source of the country. I would say less than 5% while limiting what most people to understand that filtration might use one debt filter in the take advantage of the fact that consumers don't understand it and they make a lot of money like debt collections is a multi trillion dollar industry built on this information so that is the problem where this hits home for my audience is. A lot of times you've got a situation where a family member who has been impaired hasn't filed taxes or anything else for some time, they they pass away and all of a sudden the IRS is knocking at the estate.

Will this work for family members dealing with the estate situation. Okay, let me tell you how the estate situation comes in the plate and I wrote a couple articles about this.

I had a client who I was little workshop she started crying and really badly and what it turns out, her daughter had just passed away and left for $200,000. Now the problem is they passed a law that says all creditors have to be paid prior to dispersing the beneficiaries, so there was $197,000 for the outstanding collections against her account so her lawyer had called me up to put me in contact with the Lord was out ready to start paying out as it frees do not pay a single person until I filter all of these debts so we started across the board with every single one implemented debt filter, and ultimately, I think her total liability is like 20,000 books.

Once we filter everything properly.

So especially in estate planning, you know, I drafted in an addendum for your four wheels so that people will make sure upon you know execution will try to paying any desk they they require the density filter first so because living tell you one of the scans and uncovered so is in this case. So this client had a $30,000 credit card but she didn't paydeceit know from the bank put in to the estate to collect, but they also passed the same debt to two debt collectors so that talk wiped out, so she owed does it up and down $90,000 worth of collection just by filter and don't forget to different collective. So what I found out that collectors have software to control the newspapers or databases were deceased, and then they trolled the collection database and interviewing collections, anger, deceased their buying it all up and are just sending unit. What is legitimate or verified and dealt about none of that because the court case will automatically want a crime.

What a scam was sent and the people don't know about this and they're just kind of his glory is why they just pay all collector sends in a bill for the state. No one cares nobody verifies it. They just pay it is the biggest game of the planet you know money I could make to simply sending in debts to estates.

I didn't make it up and send it in verifying every single incident and I think that this is going to increasingly be a problem as we have this aging baby boomer population massive aging population is a passed away so many of the family members don't know these things. They don't know what's going on. There's Cody. I think it.Chris I think that one of the questions everybody is asking.

Not everybody but a lot of people are asking about anything. When you when you watch this. I don't think there's any more news anymore system over the media. They don't report is all right. We put the paper said. Could he trust could you believe and you nobody get big famous actors to represent certain things on television that sells real whatever and nobody knows who to believe and into the situation you're coming in from the voice of experience. This is what you do this what you do every day and you're seeing these these horror stories tell you what. Besides, this woman that had the 200,000 that was that was weeping and she had to outstanding exit of 197 against it. What are some of the things are what most of the stores that have really touched your heart that you save wheat we want a big one on this one.

Well let's see what one of the big things that our office does is call foreclosure of faith, foreclosure abatement show foreclosure abatement means we step in and shut down the foreclosure and force the creditors to offer you loan modification.

So back to the Obama administration. They pass the time of the mortgage forgiven. They press the mortgage forgiveness at a ton of mortgage debt filter so there's really no reason for anybody in America to lose their house to foreclosure which sounds weird when you remember 20, 30 million people of Gloucester on the foreclosure in the past few years, but legally there's no reason. So we have one lady who had it over. One of our programs.

She called me and her family home was in. This is not sad but it is going to touch little bills, funny she had lost her home and we were able to step back in and say don't see lost a home two years before she was, you know, the same relatives bounced back and forth.

She lost look on two years before we were able to successfully overturn the foreclosure. The bank gave her modification a shipment house into his nose funny. She said when she will walk. Drove up to the house she could see the door because you know the old Grogan lawn had grown so high and I just thought that was funny, but that was like one of the most extreme cases, you know, because people say every day in okay say my house is it too late. It's really never too late because there's enough debt filtration in place to really you know save your home. Now what one other thing I just wanted this is one of my clients signed up for a credit program. They were referred to was and her and her husband had been in the program for like a month into an ace.

They start becoming a holy nightmare to our staff. They were calling Huston's commitment to staff what the hell is taking so long one. My mad at 800 and oh I talked to the client to call dolls like this annual event a program for couple months you know, take some time and will you give my friends credited nine days in one month and I strive to explain to everybody's different. So one day they came in and they were yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs. Now my office is at the other end of the hallway so the reception area. They were CL and Solano narrative around the corner only done a mile so I will call the cops because it did. The staff was scared. Her husband is really big and angry if you want to call the cops on them and have them removed from the premises and I thought about it… Send them to me, send so they came to my office immediately. Their custody screen with her husband through puffed up your real angry looking guy don't meet him in and out now to be fair you're not at your big ass was much bigger than the just so I was very scared. But I wanted to talk to them if I don't like you so angry when not at a point where you should be angry because you've only been a program for when they were cussing and screaming at work eliciting safe, but at a certain point the wife was like a different candidate. She started crying like a baby. She was crying from cousin Jan this is crying like a baby doesn't drag us all what is going on with you what is going on why you so upset. She said okay, and final stage of cancer stick if I don't get this special surgery or treatment.

You know my wife is going to die in the race to get off of our credit. Then she got mad at us.

She's mad.

The clock is ticking the crop.

This was very sad for me because if we didn't fix her credit, she would've died. They based the treatment on her credit. Were you able to fix it. We were, of course, so I thought I got calm them down and I told him I solicit.

It is not done by next Monday minute for two months.

No unsalted team make sure they expedite is not done in a month. Come see me personally because now only mostly involve so I kind of forgot about it because we are very busy and in like two months later or something. I said I was in my office. My door was open and I saw these two people walking around with a lot of stuff and they were laughing and talking to the whole staff so I call the front house like because you know we have a lot of work to do out play with my staff. You know you got to play, you know, get back to what kind of things so the people kept walking down a walking tour my office and I got to close my door because I really have time in I didn't realize who they work, and finally somebody walked down to my office.

I was angry because I like you will get the one for my desk but I standard them and I noticed it was that couple but their whole demeanor had changed.

She was using this woman I recognize them because she had her makeup done. Her hair was done she was happy. The husband was happy you could know. But there credit and went up to 750.

They were in need qualify for the program. Forget about the whole demeanor had changed you when you when you were getting your PhD did you think you be dealing with family counseling. Never in a million you. I would've never believed that credit see credit from the side of the table where it impacts people on a daily basis. I always thought of credit is just some construct any of the got it or you don't and probably don't have good credit because you can pay your bills on time. I used to think that way you know until I start helping people and I start seeing, you know the problems and in the search circumstances that lead to bad credit and I start seeing that people are not teaching you the right way to fix your credit because no I want you to have well and in it I think it's part of the systemic from this country were not teaching people to be good financial stewards of their own guys and what's available out there and I really appreciate what you're doing here with these folks, but this is this is about as real as it gets when you're facing the surgery and there and it is looking pretty dicey and and and the money is crushing. You made the credit the money the debt everything in my audience, we deal with with the lots lots, medical bills, we deal with your kids with special needs and so forth, and it just yet. I was looking at my own situation and a member of family member told me of you know, did years ago. This was years ago. 11 noticed 35 years knows the caregiver. This was about two thirds into it maybe and he said you know what you grace to carry it ruins people financially ruins and you know there's a lot of filters for medical debt collections that that is not an issue. Well yeah but but be but you got no woman. That's why had you on the show today because people don't know they don't even know the word and and so let's get the word out and let's let her is a path that up beef to be paired like you alluded with this couple meeting get here overnight. You don't get out of it overnight yes yes work involved, there's really no no I couldn't work but is there still work, but I'm just sick yes share with like you said, there's light at the end of the tunnel is gotta keep moving in that direction yesterday. Yet, if there is a path it's, it may be a challenging path and you left it. It's a narrow and sometimes a scary path, but it is a path and that's better than just blindly just writing checks or accepting your fate yet of the situations and and be thrown out of your home.

Would you got particular, if you got a family member that's that's got special needs of the other thing is blood bionics. I do this with bodies or talk to family members of alcoholics and addicts because that you to buy something or go burn through cash. Yes, good credit and everything else I'd know you've seen this and and so this is why wanted let people know how to protect themselves protect their assets protector home protector is is like this couple given your office protector there will be there there there since it will be yeah they were really coming apart at the seams to the point where they almost got arrested. Yes, that would've helped her credit to get a rest. I've never in the history of of of credit I've never heard of anybody improving their credit by giving the rest of the so any any last comments you would say to folks because people were scared they don't know that they don't know how to but don't know who to trust. They don't know what to do with who would even call her what what to go tell him lastly from your heart out one of the leaders maybe like one of the best debt filters that's out there. The care is that so the care Zach has a credit protection provision so if you been affected or impacted by Cove and 19th.

You should be calling the writing to every single creditor that you have and asking them to defer your payments for 3 to 12 months. The beautiful part about that is it now give you an option to save some money and create some discretionary income but even more importantly than that if you were late getting those payments to the law give your provision to clean all the link payments all of your credit so your viewers simply didn't do this one thing they can bluster credit hundred points in the next month. While that that's that's just that not all that is is a phone call that is that's all that is that is amazing 100 points, and if you don't the dead again. Please understand the listeners. This is not so that you can go out and buy more stuff better credit. This is so that you're not to be penalized when there is nobody parts of your lives by having bad credit and you will be if you if you do a beta just it. If you get it affects every part of your life. People can look at your credit score will cut a risk you are and I'm telling you it there knocking up the duck and lay down chips on you.

If your credit is low and so this is this is great advice. If doctors check your credit hospitals and doctors before they offer a recommended procedure so you need to credit just to make sure you can stay healthy and alive and and then the last thing I just want to make sure that people understand if you've got a family member, particularly the elderly. When who's gone through dementia or whatever and they haven't Good books and so forth. And it's a mess. Please please please don't just start writing checks from the estate escape. Please don't do that, at least give it a fair shot of making a phone call going to Dr. Grayson's website build 850 credit.com that when they get there if there if they're not dealing with increase in their credit but they got family members passed away.

Did you just cut it. How do you have a consultation all the time.

So please, especially if there is an estate situation before you paint anybody no matter who your executor is just have them come to was in filter the debt so we do debt filtration. We don't even charge you whatever we save 10% of what we save so give $100,000 worth of debt you're about to pay, it will cost you 10 G's for us to wipe that hunting cheese away 10% of whatever they're attacking the creditor coming after that's all you pay as you pass. After we've done it so that when you guaranteed the there's no there's there's no risk to add you to sit down with you guys. Give them a chance we get answers always know till you ask you and and you might as well what if you got to lose beside your credit and your money and your so that your 06 report to you at least make a phone call at least go visit the website build 850 credit.com and and asked for consultation if you did with the estate situation of whatever you know and obviously Dr. Grace will have his staff prepared call in custody about what help they were very alarming.

So listen I really appreciate you coming on. Sure this is your your heart with this as things develop this new laws come about. If there's a new law passed as you whatever you be sure to let us know so we Dr. Michael Grayson. I love that name because that's her son's name Grace and the HD CEU credit and debit management Institute and his website is build a 50 credit.com what a tremendous resource for the truck. Thanks for the time they really do not know will get you is well listening to Roseburg… Hope caregiver will be like this is John Butler and I produce hope for the caregiver with Peter Rosenberger. Some of you know the remarkable story of Peter's wife Gracie and recently Peter talk to Gracie about all the wonderful things that have emerged from her difficult journey. Take a listen Gracie.

When you envision doing a prosthetic limb outreach. Did you ever think that inmates would help you do that, not in a million years. When you go to the facility run by core civic and you see the faces of these inmates that are working on prosthetic limbs that you have helped collect from all of the country that you put out the plea for and their disassembly sell these legs like what you have your own prosody and arms and orange everything when you see all this.

What is the duty makes me cry because I see the smiles on their faces and I know I know what it is to be locked someplace where you can't get out without somebody else allowing you to get out course, being in the hospital so much and so long and so that these men are so glad that they get to be doing as as one man said something good family with my hands.

Did you know before you became an amputee that parts of prosthetic limbs could be recycled. Now I had no idea and I thought a peg leg. I thought of wooden legs. I never thought of titanium and carbon lags and flex the sea legs and all that.

I never thought about that as you watch these inmates participate in something like this, knowing that there there helping other people they'll walk there, providing the means for the supplies to get over there.

What is that due to you, just on the heart level.

I wish I could explain to the world. What I see in here and I wish that I could be able to go and say the this guy right here Denise go to Africa with that. I never not feel that way out every time you know you always make me have to leave. I don't want to leave them. II feel like I'm at home with them and I feel like that we have a common bond that I would've never expected that only God could put together. Now that you've had experience with it what you think of the faith-based programs.

The core civic offers.

I think they're just absolutely awesome and I think every person out there should have faith-based programs like this because the return rate at the man that are involved in this particular faith-based program and other ones like it, but I know about this one are is just an amazingly low rate compared to those who don't happen and I think that says so much that has anything to do with me just has something to do with God using somebody broken to help other broken people.

If people want to donate or use prosthetic limbs, whether from a loved one who passed away or you know somebody well groomed. You've donated some of your own for the did have it out of the do that please go to standing with hope.com/recycle staining with hope.com/recycle thanks Chris.
