As anyone who’s moved knows, things can get lost or misplaced in the process. In our recent move to Southwest Montana, my scattered mind led me to drop my debit card in the parking lot of a grocery store in Bozeman. (Granted, I've got all this head ...and so little brain, but I'd like to think that I can normally keep from hurling my debit card to the ground.)
Meet the wonderful individual who found it, tracked me down, and returned it safely. Her name is Kylie Stier and she is the business manager at Bozeman Lodge.
You will love meeting her ...and learning more about this wonderful individual!
Thank you Kylie - you saved me a LOT of headache, and are a breath of fresh air to meet in this world!
"Live the way you choose - in style and comfort, surrounded by good friends and modern amenities in the beautiful Gallatin Valley. Bozeman Lodge is a warm and friendly community with a full range of amenities and a full schedule of social, educational and recreational opportunities."
Peter Rosenberger is the host of HOPE FOR THE CAREGIVER - the nation's #1 broadcast show for the family caregiver.
Just as long intros John well my trigger.
We wanted to contact same younger voice thing and I yeah I started out we can take it so silent burst about your at your your complaining about something which will come home just as long little interest put the title back in petty cash I was speaking.
Which by the way out. You know that there is a country out there that that doesn't use cash or credit for any of its currency usage smell of dead Giovanni if the Czech Republic okay put two titles back in the back of the show is about caregivers hosted by carrier.
This is Peter Rosenberger you're listening to me and the kilt of muddy disco who is say Institute title page and we are thrilled to have you with us 800-688-9522 800-688-9520. Did you would follow Facebook laugh. It's at Facebook.com/hope for the caregiver and the website is hope for the caregiver.com.
The book is hope for the caregiver YouTube jealous. Hopefully caregiver everything were doing is about hope for the caregiver were offering you take advantage of it. I promise you you will thank me actually a thing John conceals a dualist but we we don't want you to do this alone. We want you to do. Be encouraged along the journey and our goal for this show is to help you lighten up a little bit left little bit. Get a little stronger at work some things and and for your heart to be in a better place at the end of the show. That's how we know we did a good job if you if you just carry this load a little bit easier and I were glad with us. Listen we go to a new segment or judge any music for this now. Remember we talked about this you you sprung it on me when you say such only sound that you don't want to say were called meet the neighbors person. I have just moved to Southwest Montana and from national bit a national 35 year same house for 28 years.
It was excruciating to move. We promise you, I promise you this is a true story. We would through more tears and drama I think would grace giving up stuff to get rid of out of the house that she did when she give up her legs at that kid you not I we were looking at her surgeon and her surgeons. It doesn't hurt that bad.
She said yes it does take it off and then I watched her go through stuff at the clause in our closets. You can't give that away. I had that a junior high he hoped that if they get right here is like oh baby would have to have an intervention here but we moved out here of the climate is so much better for her.
We been commended for 30 years.
We love it out here and I were glad to be here, but I went to go grocery shopping in Bozeman nearby buzz that I I am 50+ miles away from the nearest traffic light. John that say that's an interesting metric.
I like that if we are a long ways from pretty much everything but I was that we went to Bozeman and a couple days later, I will happily I don't take this very often and Facebook and somebody in Trenton and they sent me a message that hey were you at Albertson's in Bozeman a little earlier on, such as Dave at five 530 in the evening and I thought well this stalker went to a lot of trouble you slam it on the cost of another okay and and I and I wrote back and I said well yes I was and she said well I think I have your your debit card oh and and she said what's the name on it and what color is such, it selected will be reverted.
It's green and and sure enough she had found it and she kept it safe. She will get her after she mailed it to me and it turns out that her name is Kylie and she's with us today and it turns out that she has a job that directly affects what we do here on the show so I asked her she'd call it because we want to just meet the neighbors and so Kylie you with this Kylie steer and you will live in Bozeman and you are not only an honest but I conscientious person and I am just thrilled to meet you for the first time here we are on the air and I asked you to call of the show. That's a little weird is it. But you did it anyway because I guess you just know you did everything better to do this afternoon. That was a joke, clearly not much of one. Now that hard.
By the way John before you even have to ask. I actually sent Kylie something is way the think you will that's good thing she probably hasn't got it yet but she will and gift certificate to taco John's. I'm just getting tough out is getting that.
Tell me what you do Kylie because I was really fascinated about the find out that this is your job and I will and it directly affects what we talk about here. So tell me what you do at my living have people on how did you get into this work looking for a new job and my lot and I might be great that I have ever had and I am so thankful that I can and I live in 100 qualified. I like thin gray and I hope they continue their long time will obviously have only the tremendous sense of character and responsibility. But you you just you just a kind soul and what have you learned in working in this environment that you didn't know before that and how much and how many different people and all the story and so on and where they come from, and all that well.
I think that is just marvelous. Really do. Just applaud you for the work that you do love and I am just very good. Of all the people defined by debit card in Gracie's Wheaties of the banker's were on speed because I had to consciously cancel the card is held whose these things a lot and that Gracie just just gets. She puts everything back in the same place every time she is so methodical, but all that she does with it and me. I'm just a little bit kind of on the scatterbrained side sometimes and it is to infuriates her and of all the people look to find this on the ground.
I guess you got it on the ground in the parking lot and I doubt I went back you hear what we're here here John beachy know that she was just a pickup trash.
Yeah, this is what this is an angel judge a likely story on track to achieve this is on the kind of guy that really I think writing in my putting away grocery carts that are loose in the parking lot and stuff like speak of my soul here will Kylie you are a treasure and you get to be the first on a new series called meet the neighbors and if you are an indication of the kind of folks that the Bozeman Lodge hires then that must be a stellar place to work will I'm glad you're there just for all the folks that the residents in the family members who trust you will with their loved ones that must be incredibly meaningful to hear a story like this and I will put this out on the podcast as well and I just wanted for me on Kona manager when you see how she is the manager's business manager, you should job because of you don't find your breath of fresh air in today's world. Kylie so thank you very much for that and thank you for making my thy entrance into the selfless Montana area. A smooth one that they could've been a disaster and you help and you took the time to find me and then send it over to me and here in the Madison Valley and and I just I'm just very grateful to know you and I hope to be able to meet you in person soon. I now will stop by the Bozeman Lodge.
I'd like to meet all the folks up there and I like to see little bit more about what you guys do.
But thank you for being a part of our new segment meet the neighbors. We have nothing. So just could've come up with the things on for you know I'm a commission to write one.
I will write will do the best of all the best to you when you get plan for the rest of Sunday afternoon.
It is a beautiful day.
I have not don't list until John what the weather's like okay it's producing the show in Dallas.
Let's don't tell them Kylie is it it would it would it would cause them a great deal of duress in this a beautiful area here and we've been coming out here for 30 years and it it it is really captivated by sober Kylie Valley steer.
Thank you so much for calling in and thank you for being a part of this and I look forward to to meeting you all and that some of the Bozeman I'll swing by your quite welcome. See that's our meet the neighbor, John R meet the neighbor segment
