Standing before Pontius Pilate, Jesus heard  him state, “You will not speak to me? Do you not know that I have authority to release you and authority to crucify you?”

The response of Jesus was astonishing ...and has profound implications for us all, and specifically in this monologue from the show, for us family caregivers.

Peter Rosenberger hosts the nationally syndicated radio program, HOPE FOR THE CAREGIVER.  For more than 30 years, he's cared for his wife, Gracie.

Why not want chicken chicken maybe it's not the perfect gift for your family but it is the perfect gift for poor family ninja chicken can break the cycle of poverty for poor family yes chicken chickens and eggs provide food and nourishment for family and they can sell mosaics at the market for income when you donate a chicken or any other rental Gospel for Asia. 1% of what you give goes to the field and get the ball went Gospel fundraiser to support family. Jesus family this Christmas and give them a six explanation or see chickens and other animals campaigned on my this is more so for as a family caregiver. How are you doing what's going on with you shows about the person pushing the wheelchair staying up late at night doing back-and-forth doctors stating in the corner of the hospital room when you can back-and-forth to rehab all kinds of things that are going on with individuals who putting themselves knowingly and voluntarily between the vulnerable of what an even worse disaster. And if we don't speak to the needs that person then we risk losing two people family caregivers at risk individual in the show is dedicated to them and helping them navigate a better place to safety and to a life of commerce of healthiness and even joy in the midst of all the six you could do this, but we can't do it alone. A Peter Rosenberger 888-589-8840 888-589-8843 will be a part of the show if you want to watch a Slav on Facebook lab bid streaming of social media that's very easy as well. However, it Facebook just would hope for you caregiver hope for the caregiver and you can watch a Slav on the show than the podcast is caregiver podcast you got to hope for the caregiver.com and you see right there in the front page. The podcast you couldn't listen to all the episodes we have we have quite a library that we develop.

We have not of the number one show broadcast show for family caregivers were here on American family radio.

We are also the Truth Network and out as well as by the stations that are starting to pick this thing up. It is, it is a growing need among the entire country of family caregivers.

Nothing like a global pandemic to change the way we think about caring for the most vulnerable among us how you help somebody who helped somebody in this. We talk about on the show we did with everything from Alzheimer's to autism but you know what one of things we had on this show that a lot of people don't talk about effect. I think that we're the only significant platform that the dressing caregivers that exit talk about this and that is those who are dealing with alcoholism and addiction issues and loved ones. See, those are chronic impairments. There's a lot of people there say what you got. I got delivered. Of this, I never talk and never touched again. Yada yada yada.

But they don't understand that their behavior was forever marred by this impairment and that all the people around them know it, you know, alcoholism addiction is the is the only disease out there that could that convinces you try to convince you that you don't have it.

If you have diabetes you could know you got to have sheet mosquito. If you have cancer, you couldn't know that you have cancer, but addiction tries to convince you that you don't affect, and all the family members around certain of them.

So even if you say no I haven't touched drinking 10 years that's fine and I'm happy for you. Great way to go.

Congrats. Don't think for one moment this doesn't affect the people around and those of you listening during relationship with someone's life that you understand exactly what I'm talking about. So this is the show wraps and that and the mental illness component because there are people out there do with KINDS of mental illnesses that you look at it that the rates of depression right now are our soaring and in their people in the orbit of those people who are struggling with the six there caregivers in the show is dedicated to them. 885-8988 40 888-589-8840 like start off with the Scripture John John 19 Gospel of John 19 verse 10 in verse 11 that is no sound real chauffeur caregivers but stay with me on this. So Pilate member Pontius Pilate said to him, Jesus, you, you do not speak to me just would answer you. Do you not know that I have the authority to release you and I have the authority to crucify verse 11 Jesus answered you would have no authority over me unless it had been given you from above. However, he never caregivers Jesus was standing there before Pilate, and he probably at that time was pretty banged up, beaten and scourged and in all the things that have been going on with living in and if you so Mel Gibson's the passion of the Christ.

You gotta a picture of what happened to him prior to getting to Pilate slapped around spit on everything else.

So he's probably saying this through blood And he was so direct, so focused knowing who he was and he understood that God was sovereign in this that his father, our father had not just had this thing the rug pulled out from under him. This was purpose. This was this was why he was sent there and so Pilate is thinking he's in charge.

Jesus with great clarity reminded him know you're not. You're not in Church and don't think for one moment that you are now. It's that kind of singularity of focus and purpose that's available to us as caregivers in a look at the way that the world is going right now and if you don't the Christian community is a punching bag for the left you if they went after the Muslim community with the same level of distaste into stating that they go to the Christian community there before that I could do that. Jesus said you look they hated me that I hate you and I get that. But do we have to cower about this. Do we have to walk around and fear about this.

I don't think so. I get a little bit tired of it myself first.

Leslie always people capitulating to the to the craziness of this world.

Jesus is clearly modeling hate to capitulating you up here on a mission. I'm here, a purpose, and my father is in charge of this thing and you're not, don't think for one moment that you are less the weight of who he is and that same weight is available to us as we face the trials we face as we face the day it a day out challenges of being a caregiver, or the day given day out insults that come at us for who we are and what we believe and I look at the left in this country in they are so comfortable, insulting my faith and in my beliefs and in my my journey with car they don't know me, and they certainly don't know Christ and yet they feel this freedom to mock, and deride our journey as believers. They don't understand what has sustained me through the 34 years of of as a caregiver I have for my wife Gracie through her 80 surgeries through both of her legs watching her being wheeled down to surgery. Year in and year out more times that I really want to remember they don't understand it when she came out of surgery halfway under anesthesia with both legs now amputated. She's got her hands raised to heaven singing praise God from whom all blessings flow. They don't understand what that type of faith means to someone what that type of of of awareness of God's presence means to someone and yet they mock and we is as believers, as is the American church we feel okay with this. I don't and I am getting a little bit annoyed and tired about they can do all kinds of things you don't have what it's like this. I had 45
