God first program to encourage viewing life through the window of the Bible in honor of the one and only God, the God of Jacob doing today that God first have my name is Anita, and I am cofounder Chris Bob and yes Brian has graciously allowed me to take the reins. Today, though this is temporary, but I am showing by one of my Jesus girls whom I honor and I call her my mentor and my friend and her name is Tara Furman and she is founder and president of Noah got ministries in Cary, North Carolina. She's a speaker, a teacher and author of prayer warrior and anything else you want to put behind that, but she is a dynamic leader of women. She's also married to her best friend Tim and they have two adult children and so I am so honored to have her own today because we are going to be discussing prayer and her book and not just her book, but the power of prayer and in her title. She actually mentions how powerful prayer is because it is what we use to fight.

And so the name of her book is prayer made simple fighting for your family and friends and prayer. So welcome Tara yes I want everyone to know as much about no one got ministries as possible so can you tell us a little bit more about knowing got ministries and you will hear us say K GM and that is the acronym for no one got ministries but share a little bit more about your ministry with us, no one got ministries that it helps when you know God I'm quite a woman who bring the gospel and the reality of God into their home when this happened when we know God and were limiting his word in our hands and in all corners of the world changes. The changes our marriage at the changes it brings light to our children to our family. Think about that for a minute when we when we are living the got will bring life to a dead marriage she can impact unsaved people on the impact of business can impact the rule. I mean it. Amazing. Complete knowing God held that the trajectory of our lives and potentially an entire generation. No government. We had lunch and when encumbrance is mother-daughter that and just simply said, we help women know God teaching them the truth of God's word and help helping them to apply it in their everyday lives. Yet love that I am on the knowing got ministries team and I am so honored to serve with K GM and one thing about KVM is that discipleship is so important to K GM and so I love that. And if you know Tara you know that she is really big on establishing a quiet time with the Lord, you know what time to let yourself bear before him, praying specifically and scripturally and allowing your time with Jesus so that you can soak him in and give yourself fully to him and so she really helps to equip women with knowing how to pray.

Taking the time to praise and thank Jesus to allow him to illuminate any darkness within you, and to speak to you and so I'm she does such a wonderful job with that.

And she really makes you feel that prayer is more simple than you think. And so when we think about how prayer can be really simple but is powerful and is powerful enough to fight for our sales, our family and our friends and you perfectly put that in your title of your book and saw what I really would like you to talk about the conditions for praying powerfully because we know that although his simple prayer is very powerful. My brain what I want to get back to what you said about a quiet you know so important Demeter that we can know God by going to church, but we know they can comprehend every day carting out just 10 minutes. 15 minutes a day to read her Bible and talk to God, and that's what prayer is talking to God, and know we can be no real before God we we don't have to be embarrassed at the things that we know you timeliness of the podcast could not be more perfect last night and even the morning quiet and I cry out the Lord on behalf of something that is very near and dear to my heart you know we all have things that are near and dear to her heart in her touch point and not her point… It like that.

No one can fix, but got good things that we hate prayer and that what open me into a quiet marriage that not everything in it was not working and I was really honest with God began to tell right got word would just come alive as an is a coincidence that the God of the universe thinking to me, illuminating his word into one of the condition praying power powerfully we word we got and new content. Do you just start with 10 or 15 minutes but I want to challenge you do it from 30 day and I guarantee you, you will addicted to your time with God. It will become such a part of your your routine in such a part of. Really, the condition of your heart because you will experience the joy in the teeth look great that you are normally experience things you will become addicted to that time you one of the mall one day right here from the get-go. The Bible is clear we can talk to God could read my mind like really like I'm in my office right now there is no one here in my office talking to… I'm talking my head and back to prayer when I'm driving down the road. I'm talking to God that you prayer in the word pray continually what I'm talking about is what we want fight for our friend for our family for our children for our marriage is in prayer.

This required Paul think stopping getting alone with God opening up his word and praying how prayer made simple came about and ability to even go there. As I continue with the conditions for praying powerfully, Denita is a daughter that was extremely sick extremely sick with an autoimmune disease that we were even wondering if she was gonna live and I didn't know how to pray. I knew how to pray because everybody can create it. You can talk to God. We don't have to talk in the third valve or neighbor who was intentional.

I mean she was intentional with discipleship and I mailed myself to work and I would go to her house for lunch. He had me scratching to.

She was that generate but anyway she would have me and I would just know tell her all my problems and she would pray with me when we got pray and I would be a great way what that is different way. She prayed sure God's Word and pray so that was where prayer made simple came about just a woman that she wants to know how I prefer my marriage I got a page for her to go pray marriage, but in order for God to hear her prayers on in a nutshell, going back to your original question that I know that I have kind of gone on a few rabbit trail. Your son, but the first thing is getting alone with God and making sure you have time with them and the second is do you have a relationship with them. Political how that relationship, you know, are you his child and the church does not clearly mean we are God's Children 30 K GM because there are so many denominations out there. I married a man that was the one denomination of another denomination and he had you the way to be right with God and I had my view of how your right with God and when I learned what the Bible said about being right with God that changed my life and so are you right with God. Do you have a relationship with them a covenant relationship with him in the battle to believe and receive.

They are given the right to become children of God, and that John 112 and make sure you have a relationship that we can get back to that if you want to donate at that were cherished in our heart on the new that we are living a life now of God would not be happy with which to cherish that one time when I was ongoing thoughts towards another person were not right. They were not holy either. I can assure you, and down, God had to get that right with me before.

The fight for my children and prayer. When we begin the hard part will harbor unforgiveness toward someone that I'm talking really about more mature believer here because the lot for our prayers being really hopeful happened about three months ago I was controversial issues right now and in the public square feet and out of the football party and these one and jump down my throat for you know just on yet you know whether to do the vaccine or whether not to do the vaccine and on. I don't want to go there but it is certainly a hot button issue and these women jump down my throat and it was embarrassing.

It was public. It was humiliating. It was worse than any middle school thing that I had ever. The middle or high school. I'm telling you from dealing with unforgiveness and my God I choose to forgive but I choose to forgive that whole scene horrible to forgive them, even though at the end of the day. One did eventually call and apologize which was awesome cold of unforgiveness in our heart and when we are on to unforgiveness. Got here when we pray so we need to search our heart rate that's part of a quiet search I can't share me any towards you that you don't why.he will show what the middle picture and you're like oh yeah that's what he'd been doing all that shook the real project illustration and I'm much better than I was two months ago. I'm much better than I was a month ago but still something I'm working. I'm driving down the road out That person in my neighborhood like Margaret. She loved that person. I choose the love that brought you to forget and every day. Example of what this looks like, so that we can fight for our mayor for our family and for our children and for our friends and prayer right before the Lord. Right before God the Word when we pray in our prayers available much and so I want my prayers to avail much because some really wicked world and I've got two kids in college and the wicked world and you better believe their mama is on her knees a lot on behalf of her children and this is according your book that I love that talks about the power of prayer and you say quote the power of the word is like taking a shotgun and putting a bullet to the head of the snake in the spiritual realm. I love that quote because it really is that powerful and we have to take things to the Lord that require that that requires that kind of power.

So I love that you put that in your book and I love to do that in your book you give people actual sections in your book where they can look at things that are considered sand that are sinful so that people can be specific and look over that and see in that list.

Is there something that convicts my heart and then they can pray it spiritually and give it to the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to replace it with what is good because sin does block prayer followers. I don't like to say believers as much anymore because people believe in Christ but don't really follow him. Even Satan believes in Christ.

So all I to say followers of Christ, but follows of Christ have a direct line of communication with God like you mentioned your friend who was pray with you is like. She seemed to have this direct communication with God. And so we tap into that power of prayer. We are empowered and so you included a section an entire section in your book that is called powerful prayer when life is hard and we know that many people are experiencing hard times right now and so as we become more empowered to prayer. We should use that power to bring loved ones before the throne of God. Can you speak a little bit more about how we do that effectively, because your book has an entire section that helps us with that. I don't even know how I feel but I look at help me and before I put together.

I put together a compilation of Scriptures because I know what I needed to pray one and I'm glad you're interviewing me emotional met a woman Bring Ryan say so no one got one that killed a young can me and show little little little need I need strength to any courage and my feelings careful and think your problem or what is their problem and you cry to Scripture and worded in a way, just like before the break when you said like a bullet to the head of the night. When we pray God's word. I'm telling you there is a biblical he comes over you when you pray, why develop that section. It shrilly came from the heart of a woman: what is going on with me right now. What is this is that I just went to that section and it's not a ton of Scripture. Maybe 10 Scriptures per page enough with that oppression that sometimes that we can feel the depression that is trying to go one month or whatever it is like we have no strength, no help. Pray for healing.

Scripture know that person's name and the Scripture how, pray that Scripture for the mall maybe back in an email note but but that section is all about putting a label to it and them praying with power help but situation and with that I like the fact that you mentioned covenant relationship earlier because having that deep relationship with God. You do nest your direct line and using that line is even shorter.

You don't have to go far to far to reach him, but that cabinet covenant relationship.

Some people may say while all of that some people feel like it.

It doesn't take all of that, you know, I cannot just say my rehearsed prayer that say every day or whatever and I really do feel like it does not take all of that deep of a relationship, you know, like at the surface of things with God. Can you encourage those who have those types of thoughts and how that relationship back up from their demeanor why it's important to have a covenant relationship in the world many different ways how we get to God but we come to God the way that you come to him in the way he says that we come to him through a relationship with Jesus separate from God and while God will hear the prayer of someone you everybody prayer everybody do not belong there prayer you and time and time again come to him waking prescribed to come to him there's a barrier right from God, but when we invite Jesus to come into our life and to forgive the Jeep supernaturally but he gave himself a sacrifice for our sense of our pray that God could hear our prayer, so that he can hear our prayer. And I think your personal relationship with them eternal life. When we die a joyful life on the here and now joy is predicated on connected so important. I think that's something that is missing today.

We do have a lot of surface surface relationships to where we are not really going to the throne of God and laying bare before him, something you mentioned earlier made me think of the word transparent to be transparent before God so that we can allow him to say I know he sees he's a really he's the one who sees all things. But as we lay transparent and bare before him.

He can speak into those things that we are bringing to him because we are acknowledging I need help with this. God I need you I need to acknowledge I am completely and utterly dependent upon you Lord and I need for you to take this weather is something that you're laying at the feet of God that belongs to you that you want to get to God or something that is involved with someone else because in prayer we are fighting not just for ourselves but for our family, for friends, our loved ones, our communities and our nation and the world will bring in people from throughout the world to put at God's feet and so is important for us to be able to have that relationship with him to know and allow him to speak to us-ism is so two-way communication right where they were there to receive from him. But most importantly were there to honor him and to praise him and is so important and if you could just take a couple minutes there was something about that was on my heart as I look through your book to is you talked about praise and worship does praise and worship look like during during prayer just a couple just a couple minutes on that if you could well we believe we followers of Jesus followers of Christ as believer followers. The Lord were given decided that we come to a person, throne of grace with calm, they receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need and the Bible that the bottled held to worship and praise his name. I logged on a new concept to you.

I want to encourage you go to some just start with the Psalm worship nourishes our hungry soul. It pushes back the darkness are like example cannot get it to describe when old overwhelmed had been everything going on world but when I turned my eyes to the Lord and Outlook to praise and worship looking to God for the great. The Scripture found Mark for example, in my pray. I might say great are you, Lord, Lord, but worthy of praise, no. You are so great.

Your power is absolute. Your understanding beyond comprehension at your command. The way the windward pilot you are the God who can read every human being and every creature are all Scriptures word back to God. There is a heart of darkness. It it helps what mood I'm in crane so powerful honors the Lord gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise the work that he had betrayed his people. When we again do you need to work that God's word. Great draws closer to it.

I can't put my finger on it supernaturally hard to even explain what word when you've experienced that you know I would get some of my favorite word to pray back to him or in the late song like Psalm 145 yes Psalm 140 word or just a wonderful springboard into our prayer time and what what happened is it our mind off of a all first small circumstances and on the God who is able with the most high God, who is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine. We get up refreshed and working… It prayer partner. One time she would say God, all are on my number on your death.

I know that there only I know that you're able because you are bigger than I can comprehend.

You are stronger than I know you are and she would just pray you work to print and I'm telling you, you get up and you still have the problem your different time in prayer and praise and thanksgiving and thanksgiving as a part of that thanksgiving I find when I trained with people that date you thinking and thinking is a big deal, being thankful and having a heart of gratitude and and got it honored with parts of gratitude, but it came to praising him is one thing and thanking tenant different and so I would encourage everyone there. Prayer conduct always have components of praising God and thanksgiving. He wants our lifestyle, our entire being to be a worship to him and I am prayerful that this book will reach many and so and even I would suggest people given it away at Christmas as a Christmas gift because we all need to tap into that precious gift of prayer and a so I know that this book will help as many as possible to do that and to pray and be effective and have powerful prayer.
