I can't tell you how excited I am to introduce our next guest to in fact she is the subject of an incredibly powerful and life-changing new movie that's out in theaters across our nation. Right now unplanned is the inspiring true story of one woman's journey of transformation from directing one of the nation's largest abortion clinics to become one of the most powerful voices in the pro-life movement in our country that remarkable woman Abby Johnson joins us today to discuss her personal journey and this incredible film that is exposing the truth about abortion and the abortion industry like we've never seen it before. The film doesn't stop there though because it offers a heartfelt message of redemption, love, forgiveness and healing for anyone and everyone who's been impacted by abortion in one way or another if there ever has been a must-see film this is it, because it literally has the potential to change our nation's perspective and heart about abortion and the callous destruction of innocent human lives. Also, it's anything but that. But for those who have not read your book or seen the movie unplanned give us a quick playback of your life's journey to this point, if you will.

I work at helper eight where I will call the clinic director at my parents ability here and check and lack in October 2009 after we live abortion and ultrasound and I thought he called unborn child fight and struggle for a reply against the abortion instrument and I knew then back I could no longer forget the pain and abortion in any way and fell.

I ended up leaving my job at that clinic and have been speaking out and trying to work hand in what's happening in Friday clinic and fend off to really trying to bring healing to have been affected by abortion and Wayne so and so you know that you done a lot of public speaking and you've written a book what led to turning your story into a movie like unplanned well I was the proud by filmmaker and then that right and directed… And I never ever considered turning my my book into a film by Billy prayed about it and talk to them about it and felt like something that we that we needed to do that we move forward. And we've been working on it now. Happy new year like so much for doing that mouse we ultimately received an all rating from the motion picture Association of America for all things violence. After all, it is a movie about abortion and it seems like this was a purpose across to some. Was this a surprise to you, and didn't concern you at all).

I mean II watch TV and I feel it in PD 13 pounds than I thought Elder no way that wall get anything over 13 grade without there being a violent death but Gore profanity in the nude. They went out there and I thought now in our film except for an abortion with the court is it an act of violent by now it came back we were worth the pride family, like that NCAA motion picture Association of America stumbled backward in the. By admitting that abortion is violent and that it is it is disturbing that that was the impression came to after I heard that absolutely should be. And so it's what you said is just what is right on the abortion is absolutely an act of violence, and it's appropriate that it be labeled as such. Now you know a lot of people who have already seen unplanned have commented on the way the different groups and perspectives. All of the abortion issue are portrayed in the film up from your perspective, what was it important to present a comprehensive and also an honest portrayal of the different kinds of individuals interested in mindsets that are involved, all alone, all sides of the abortion debate while my butt I think are good and bad on both side and I think that there I think it's important for going to actually be on about our own men and about the pro-choice movement and that we that we didn't talk about where we get it right and where we get it wrong and I think that that's really important and I wanted to show from my perspective, it being a clinic director. What was most effective.

What actually did work on, you know, in front of our clinic on that the clinic sidewalk and not people who do things a different way arguing fell with that intention. But when we're talking about why on the line. I think it's very important for you but it proven to be most effective and what is in line with God speaking and felt it was very important for me that I was on about my hearing with both side. It was important to me that I know the humanity of those who work inside the abortion clinic with me and it was important to show that the best practices on the sidewalk listening to policy matters radio show and gas from the NC family. What do you hope what is your desire. What is your prayer about what this movie will top priority. I wake up every day with dad. People who went ducking down or pro-choice when they walked and walked to life when the lockout in a court that may not a huge victory for the Lord but then also where we are already tipped over this weekend carrying out why they had no and on the lives of the children and and so we are seeing so much fruit and were only a few days, then how were just praying we know we have confidence that God will continue throughout the next few weeks we felt like that element is a very powerful tool in our arsenal in the pro-life movement that can be used and and and we hope that many different organizations will use that clearly tours back home abortion in the abortion industry, I guess, paralleling the experiences that you share of your life and that the transformation that you have throughout the film for culture is very much living with blinders on when it comes to this issue.

I know even for myself when I saw the movie I just thought I was astounded at the truth that it brings forward the way that it just completely removes the curtain and shows abortion and the abortion industry for what it is you know you started a ministry that offers and you've mentioned this though that offer support to abortion workers who want to leave the industry and others who are affected by tell us a little bit about your work in that arena really seeking to offer the healing that you talk about 12,012, and our goal is simple abortion clinic we get there workers out on a path of healing new into a new light employment into relationship with Christ and then on top of all, we are able to shut down the way for where they want work because of the information that they have no about their former employer we had health right at 500 abortion workers leave their job. Seven full-time abortion doctors put down their instrument and fell in really get an amazing blessing to be part of that transformative half that that that happening in the live visual appraisal and after seeing a prescreening of unplanned is that everyone and I mean everyone needs to see this film and they need to watch it from beginning to end. Because the message of forgiveness of redemption and healing is as important as the truth we see about the horrors of abortion in the abortion industry throughout the movie.

So what would you say is a word of encouragement to those who consider themselves to be both pro-life and those who consider themselves to be pro-choice, who may still be on the fence about going to see unplanned that we are polite important that we are that holiday parfait in our cod candy and down really low that the abortion industry what it is that it pivoted that would have taking advantage of women at UVA, we need to be quit with that information. If were going to effectively fight for the unborn and their mother yell out I would taper people who are culturally important for them to go watch the only time you need to know what you support. No, don't be a cheerleader for something that you have never seen before. You know you can walk into that movie and walk out still prematurely but at least now what your what you're actually supporting what you hearing for and I have told people, you know you will not be able to walk out of the film saying well I just didn't know what happened. I didn't know what abortion lied, you will know and then you in turn are comparable for that information and what you do with that and felt were just praying that many, many seeds are planted through enough.
