R1641 The Heart of a Servant

I want you to turn with me to walk in chapter 10 Matthew markets the second of the Gospels will be in chapter 10 of the gospel of Mark and beginning in verse 35. So just little background here.

They believe they get to bed. They read stories they hold close they cry with a stroke, they you name it they knew it go up to a mother right now and I'll ask any mother you like as high as she is exhausted give out say to her, why don't you just stop serving your children may be so forward is to say, I think I can guarantee you the on serve everyone of them and then I will guarantee you everyone of those mothers will say you know the joy I get is something I can't even begin to describe but it didn't start out to will here with these these two men, the sons of thunder, the sons of Zebedee and Matthew reports. You Have the Right Motive You but I Have the Right Position and What Is That Position to Be Servant of All.

Which Means the Adopted Attitude As Far As Jesus Is Concerned Is That Everybody Else Is above You, You Have the Right Position. So This Is Way He Brings in Himself the Example That They Witnessed and Then Lost Verse.

They Guys Is Powerful Want You to Take This Away with You Today for Even the Son Of Man Did Not Come to Be Served but to Serve and to Give His Life As a Ransom for Many. What What Was He Saying Here. Two Things Jesus Was Telling Them Related to His Own Example.

First of All, He Was Reminding Him That He Relinquished His Seat. This Is Jesus. Now Where Is Jesus Now He Is Seated at the Right Hand of the Father Heaven Heaven Is up There in Heaven Has a Throne in It, and God Is Seated on a Throne and Annie's Right Hand Is Jesus Is Very Spiritual Here Because God the Father, God the Son of God the Holy Spirit All Three in One. They Are the Same Person with Separate Function That All Work Together. So This Is Jesus. So When Jesus Left Heaven, What Did He Do People He Relinquished His Seat. He Gave up His Seat and He Came down to Heaven. So Yes, Jesus. This Is the Throne in Heaven. Jesus Is God When It Came Time for Jesus to Do What He Did in Order That All of Us Can Be Reconciled to God. Because Jesus Knew That All of Mankind Had No Way of Getting with God Again Never Be Reconciled to God Because Suddenly Had Come between Us. Today's message from Dr. Don Wilton Jesus in full obedience to God the father areas at the throne of God in heaven came down from heaven gave up receipt came all the way down all the way down in was born in Bethlehem amongst all those animals amongst people he loved us so much. This is God who seated on an incredible throne is high and lifted up, he's magnificent. He rules everything he gave up receipt.

I'm just wanted tell you something folks. Some you may be visiting today because I have people off me this a lot. What is it about this church. You know where church we will or unusual today. What will the church that reaches old people with not just about young people were just that all people all people we nuts about black people or white people that all people will not will not interested in where the people are rich people or poor people were about all people as not just a state just look around you. I have people asking me in many places around America. How can you have thousands of people in a church and for there to never be an argument you might not know this sounds like bragging on the tell you how this happens you know they nearly 30 years in this church. I can hardly remember any time at which there was a major due day in this church people fighting with each other, storming out I'm nothing to play with you anymore. I'm going to tell you if you don't do this, then I'm going to do that. I want this and I don't want that thought in God's house. What's the key you know nobody in this church is important. Do you think that we don't all have opinions. You kidding me how many of you like your hamburger up that way why Lachman up that way. How many of you like to wear a time church what I wear a time. How many of you would want to come to church without shoes without how many of you don't know how to capture should so doesn't matter if I preach with shoes without you.
