The acts of the apostles in chapter 4 that I want to remind you what happened in acts chapter 3 in acts chapter 3, we have a most remarkable story the Bible tells us about a man who was lame from his mother's womb. He was a handicapped man and he had been that way since he was born and this is a picture of salvation. Picture what we are like without the Lord Jesus Christ and he was like that for 50 years and one day two preachers ripped into his life. In the book of acts chapter 3 and a miracle takes place, and he receives strength and he stands up and he will and it's an incredible thing. Can you just imagine the joy that must've been around when that happened, that man everybody knew him and we going to discover that place what it happened. Acts chapter for tells us about some of the things that place off to this, while everybody was rejoicing and I'm dying to read to you a most incredible story this morning. Acts chapter 4 verse one.

The Bible says that the priests and the captain of the team from God and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people that would greatly disturb because the apostles were teaching the people in proclaiming Jesus the resurrection of the dead so they seized Peter and John Meares to them. Can you believe that because it was evening and they put them in jail until the next day, but many who heard the message believed in the number of the main grew to about 5000.

We must bring these men speaking longer to anyone in the snow. Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or to teach apparel in the name of Jesus, but Peter and John replied judge for you soon. Whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than to obey God. We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard and often further threats they let him go. You've done everything you possibly know how to do. All of a sudden that child becomes a junior or senior in high school and something happens and they begin to turn against God, and they turn against the things that you said and they begin to wonder down the road aimlessly and they begin to hook themselves and Annas parents experience such being in your heart. I've made wonderful peers who love the Lord with all their heart, they read their sons and villages in the knowledge and admonition of the Lord Jesus.

The home is been a godly home and read the sudden just sometimes we just don't understand that some of both paternal line. They begin to they begin to argue with the parents and stay out late at night and they disappointed and they seem to be pursuing godliness and unholiness in around the things litigated and the parents begin to agonize and think they even withdrawn site. We cannot even go to church anymore because everybody's going to look at us and I going to say when we met. What's going on in their home and clearances suffering spiritual. There are even far greater setbacks related to brief tragedies widely known why did I have to go through this divorce, I was faithful to you why did I have to lose my husband like this. I've served you all my life. We loved you, Lord.

We had so much to do.

Why did I lose all my money. Lord I the stock market collapse and I lost everything that I have.
