Pastor Paul Sheppard's kingdom. People need to learn to do a stop on intentional negativity major in it.
Think about it, but every aching pain.
Well, you know: Lord just trying to help you understand that we should all learn to think and speak so that we can live differently, think differently, speak differently differently as we all posit we all had challenges you are no exception to on the planet have good things in their life and they also have challenges. A lot of people seem to have a lot more challenges, no doubt about that.
I'm not disputing that a lot of people have a lot to grapple with what I'm saying and saying people who dwell on the challenges many of which they didn't ask for.
They had as part of their being on this planet and yet many of them will get done because of a change of perspective than many of us who have far less excuses, and so we need to stop being people who focus on the negative things. Don't let your challenges determine who you are or what you do, that's what I want to tell you to do get back to theology at all that the people at monkeys on the phone. We get out of second Kings five right now we will stay in the shallows of practicality, pack up the heat I need to meet at work is a net but fine. You gotta learn if you change your perspective. You can change a lot of things in life and now believers. Some believers learn that you have a formal productive life than some believers who spend their time and negativity and we know the Lord on a beautiful Lee let light shine even when we have challenges we don't focus on site on them. We properly we do not focus on negativity.
That's what I'm here to tell you to do is from the waist down that define Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
He was the beloved US president who from his wheelchair guided our country through World War II, paralyzed from the waist down. Country didn't know it because I'm on the day when everything was on TV a lot only heard them on the radio never slowing and they tell you what a great man he is and what they need to do is say and he did all that from a wheelchair because that he determined this wheelchair is not going to do what don't this country's gotta get you. You being born with muscular dystrophy that define Ralph Braun, but he's the man who created the first wheelchair accessible van that had hand controls so you could navigate a vehicle as a wheelchair-bound person with hand controls Ralph Braun, who was born with MD decided MD is not going to find who are you there are people like me who need to get around.
I'm going to figure out how to get it. He not only created that one with hand controls. Later on he was the one who created the first accessible minivan. That many people all around the world use accessible minivan created because of this man's company's vision has come to reality. His vision was to take millions of wheelchair-bound people and give them mobility just let him go where they need to go and before he died. That vision had come to pass man born blind didn't keep Stevie wonder from right some of the greatest songs you've ever heard in your life. This heretic, as I just said Stevie wonder, will be free to get it even. But no meal business since we talk about but the rest of the sermon this three places y'all can go the rest of my library. Three places you can stay absolutely for you John RA way stop stop messing me up some of the greatest songs ever written. I got I got everything and all the gospel old wonderful sacred music old plenty of good worship, all that stuff gospel church see I got high church stuff so we only know how to get down. I do high church anthem the player in my church displayed we could go from anthem to to to a gospel song in conflict. We left it that way is all sacred music you know I got there, but for some Stevie and someday some looking back on when I stubbornly know being born with no legs that define Australian evangelists man named Nick Boyd to he and I spoke together at a conference in Hawaii born with no hands, no arms, no legs, but at age 17 he started a nonprofit organization entitled life without limbs.
He travels the world helping people understand that life with significant disabilities doesn't equal life without purpose, he says.
Nor does it equal life without joy, nor does it equal life without fulfillment he's experiencing all three with no arms and no legs and born that way. What's the difference perspective he's in his late 30s.
I think he said 40 as I bring this message. He's married, kids can marry wife happy life because you all day looking at what it didn't come with. He's living life helping people all over the world and I need to tell you that we were people of the kingdom need to be people of proper perspective, we need to stop looking at things as what I can do and say based on where I am. What has God equipped me to do. When do with excellence. And that's what I'm challenging us to get down to the business of living your life without letting your negative circumstances. You can be great if he was, well, no less. Now he didn't want to keep leprosy and later on when I get to the next message we talk about how God began the work to bring into the place where he could receive healing the promise, so must think the victory is always in the healing and I'm telling you is wonderful when you get a break there when you get healing but a spoiled 21st century Christians will break through miracle but I can take you to a bunch of old who you think is the only thing that matters in their life. Knowing we don't have anything to break through. All I know you're mad but I'm still telling the truth, which is a bunch of people on this preacher sometime if you got the drive and I would like to recall living in a big house to get into the real when some of that with our friends past the German Trina Jenkins. He was there to run revival at a mega church in Africa and we decided to go along with you, we and we all went to get together and I'm telling you it was a fantastic week and he preached marvelously. But the pastor there has to Jenkins have been telling him about me.
I didn't know it. And so I think I'm just going to be passed Jenkins on the bear when he go preach at the door. The Ouija board with.
We went to church but but you know we will see some so there this past immediately.
So yes just about and he says here is your preaching schedule. He said in which you church is spread out all over South Africa and he said well you preaching in somebody services the house and preaches about the places preach six times in south Africa.
When I went to be there six. I bring that up to say one of the times they drove me to the city dump. We drove up the hill, which is really a pile you know of all of the all of the fill and stuff and we drove up and up there all these little settlements you can call them houses.
People had just created something to live under when it rains, some of them were made of 10 various pieces of tenant's use of all over the city when I'm preaching is okay and we got out here was a little hand built worship place. It wasn't a really nice but it was adequate and he said service started and the people started locking from all over the city and came to this little church sitting on a hill of junk and most people worship harder than ever. This morning you see what I'm saying Chris Tucker, do you and kill charges because it's a perspective thing going on. Tell them preaching to them about driving luxury car thanking God suggesting that they don't want to improve this life sure they do stop these people decided Jesus save my soul get better dog. People say I got home, prepare letter saying so by relay morning when life is all over, I'll fly away to show that heaven will be all way out whatsoever. What is whatever is what is the ball is worthy rejoicing about discounting negative circumstances that happened all about. Blessings all I know you don't like what you're dealing with.
But think about the way it could be you decide this I can do it until he brings now a lot better complaint to the belief… Remove the quicker when he sees you rejoicing when the bill is thrown everything on the kitchen sink at your when life is thrown everything in the kitchen sink at your job messing with me now and will be gone away and he's so quick that God created a whole day out here let me kill myself because they don't torture me for the kill me and to myself and Paul's and 70 home.
We all hear no Jesus then break us out so that we could have a jailbreak he just want to show y'all that he can't take much praise and so he just had to show up to the praise got to sign the will get the theology next time. Right now we need to decide if you always have my fair fair for what they have got to do with anything in this broken world given by Sam says Genesis and not go around asking God for was for when a broken world we live among broken people. Even creation fall redemption, but in the midst of God looking for some folk who will just bear to say until and unless you bless me circumstantially or materially in the ways I would love to experience, bless the Lord at all praise shall come in my if you are facing a challenge today sure you put it in proper perspective. In the words of the apostle Paul. This light and momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison.
