I had a great teacher at the school bus to Agra going to school in the 60s when there was blessing in America in an attempt to bring about an end to segregation and systems that come out of segregation that was urban busing and so I lived in one neighborhood in Philadelphia and went to the neighborhood school kindergarten, first second third grade by fourth grade we would go to school only to get on buses and be shipped the crosstown bus across town to a white school where we were blended with the white kids and the teachers that I didn't care where we were coming from job to do what they have been and they picked up the school laptop didn't play magical drumstick out somebody because we were in the back. You have some crazy environment which you went back to liftoff gym teacher and he said when y'all get in my one of you gets wrong and you don't listen to my first correction discipline and every body while he was teaching us to check each other out and be outside the school. Please one another. One day a friend was acting up and went straight up into not be out there. We get out there. We all end up he went and got this all came to do, but I was in and he just came one behind after number one pattycake either way. He wound up went on back to Mississippi came down how I remember that.

Went to this day, our friend took off after that bill wrong running home because he knew we will beat him down, get me paddles.

The matter what you my woodshop teacher. Not only had a paddle shop teacher put a bail buzzer on their can't tell you not happen I didn't get his bath all my friends give you but they trained you in every way. Conceivably was being bused over in fourth grade, fifth grade and sixth grade bused over to the neighborhood where we came from. They expected us to act like we have sense what we suffer consequences. My fifth grade teacher. I remember her clearly to this day. Her name was Mrs. Higgins. She was a proper white lady, dignified short but had erect posture proper.

Sometimes she wear gloves to school on me.

This lady would dignified gloves to school and she is settling this year. She has some white kids some black and some for my rendezvous and some came with me from Germantown section of Philadelphia. She didn't get didn't differentiate one bit her job with the train and instruct mold all of us calls us to learn that the concept in the Scripture calls us to learn how to never forget some of the expenses in Mrs. Higgins class she wanted you to sit and when she especially wanted to teach something I needed everyone's undivided attention.

I remember her saying right now what I'm going to teach you. I need you to really focus on what I'm saying. So I want everyone's eyes on me.

I want you to sit up straight in your seat, you know, we had the seats attached to the desk and she said I want you to put your arms on the desk in front of you and fold your hands in fifth grade, so my friend just got beaten up somebody in schoolyard but we gotta Mrs. Higgins class.

She said I need your attention.

I want every eye on me. I want you to sit there, put your arms on your desk and fold your hands. That's not cool, but she didn't care and if anybody challenged her she say Johnny come here just to get up and try to scroll. We still try keep his cool since then right there next to her desk. I promise you this, but these were the words came out of her mouth. She looked at Johnny said do you want to live long and happily, Johnny said yeah she said excuse me yes who you speaking to Mrs. Higgins tried again. Yes, Mrs. Higgins very well. If you want to live long and happily you know what to do. Go back to your seat and do it. Johnny straightened out, causing Johnny didn't straighten up. The other thing was, she knew how to those old teachers know how to use your friends against you to give a warning like Johnny just this just a day that he had the devil and some at a certain point, she would say I need you to know that Johnny is threatening to take recess away from all of you Johnny and I have a little failure to communicate and you need to know that no one is going to recess if Johnny continues that the way he's acted so Johnny I made me miss my RSS recess. When you get the lead to get out there and We look for a great little boy we turn on the girls – little girl you been like kissing your girlfriend the way we did back when I was in elementary school.

The question was cannot stand a chance… Today I'm so we had to get closer every time you got to lunch.

What is God's discipline just about got lacking you all you do get whacked if you get out alive with God, but the principal role of the father in ancient times, the principal role of one whose job it was to discipline you was not punishment. Punishment only happen when there was a specific misbehavior that had to be dealt with the discipline had nothing to do with punishment, it had to do with instruction and training and shaping and molding when you are hard. They broke you guess what God is breaking some of you right now attitudes things and God says I can't take you into your next level with that bandanna to some of you been asking me to bless you to bring you out of a certain crisis and God said, I'm not bringing you out because you're not ready.

I will only bring you out when I taught you everything that you need to learn God will do when you bless me see you will you're dealing with God not like these modern parents let you do a little bit everything down you will pray for me. I can take these modern parents don't know what to do.

This so you but you don't know what to do with it.

So I tell you what I'm going teacher right here in this wilderness that you can find yourself to what you're going to learn your kids are going learn as they grow up in this wilderness so that when I blessed them with the promised land. They will know how to behave, they will know how to honor me when they get out there among nations that don't know me. They won't become assimilated, they will stand out and serve me no matter where they are asked what God is trying to get out.

You want God to give you another job and Gossett know you in school using the job where they put you through hell as training ground you would a new job when you got a bad attitude so I'm going to teach you now like you now teach you how to treat people right you will see you passed all my tests then I bless you to go to the next level. You're in school learning disciplines are being instructed. Discipline means God is teaching you the teaching concept in Hebrew is very very interesting when you look at the Hebrew language. When you look at Old Testament passages that talk about teaching and then you look at Old Testament passages that talk about learning when you look at the Hebrew word, it's the same word LaMotte.

That word means to learn when you see I told Moses to teach you my statutes when you look at teach.

It'll say the Hebrew word is LaMotte. Then you go to a passage in God says I've given you these laws and decrees learn them. Look at the Hebrew word is LaMotte can learn and teach me the same word because in the Hebrew language to teach is not about the presentation it's about the learning.

The only difference then between teach and learn is a little prefix to teach in Hebrew is to cause to learn. It's all about the learning.

It is my job, under God, to cause you to learn to call us to learn. That's what it's about because you learn it's my job to say to the Lord one day everything you instructed me to teach them to call them to just go somewhere when you get but it's all good. My job is to do damage to your ignorance to what God wants you to know about your life about your relationship character God halfbreed because he will take a higher until we learn what we need to learn you are in school handle your exams well because if you don't and old-fashioned school you got left back as we called it with them of their six great we look over the fifth-grade line and Johnny over there and he did all the fifth-grade with us last year. Now we in the six grade line and Johnny still owe to SMIC in the line is you gotta back know that means Johnny failed his exams. He didn't listen. He didn't learn he wasn't instructed he wasn't molded in those days they said I'm not sending you to the next grade. And you don't know how to read you don't know how to write, you don't know how to behave in class, they would send you through the point some of them only through the system and apply for college and came read this was the point so they didn't do it and I'm here to tell you. God is working in your life. Look at all of the areas where you haven't troubles and challenges and say Lord, what are you teaching me in your school right now. I want to learn all the lessons of faith and obedience so I can graduate on time.
