Let me tell you something you got to understand that we are called to live by our site and you gotta see your enemies, the eyes of faith. When you look at a very different view.

Every soldier in Israel saw Goliath with their own eyes, but only one of them had vision hello and thanks for being here for today's destined for victory with pastor Paul Sheppard long before he was called King David was already becoming a leader of men. Great Philistine warrior stood over 9 feet tall and weighed over 500 pounds. Not a single member of the Israeli army have encouraged to accept his challenge, but David was still just a boy saw what no one else did, that God would deliver this giant into his hands.

Today's message is straight ahead so stay right here or listen to the podcast on demand@pastorpaul.net that's Pastor Paul.net now must join Pastor Paul for today's destined for victory message lessons from the battlefield when God when you got me a wave against you what you want to do about this. That's what you found out under Moses leadership Moses and he said I'm sending you down.

My children have been on the bonded hundreds of years on the Pharaoh and I'm ready now to release them, and Moses I'm sending you to tell Pharaoh to let my people go. Moses that will now I'm doing is talk into a bush but I don't know you all would you please tell me they sent me the bus up in the palace and say that you said let my people go. Lastly, who are you and I need an answer. Alright let me tell you what the telling that I am not handsome God gave Moses his name. His name is that I sent you. That means the only real. The only thing that the only thing self existent is God. Everything else is fleeting. Everything else is finite. Everything else but God's last name everlasting. When did God get started to get started when I got in the past tense about his nature of God will be God. God all mad about you today blog… No, no, you can't speak like that about God the same yesterday today and forever with the with the only one who counts the only one with self existent. The only one not long and tell them I say let my people go so bad that after telling Pharaoh that knowing would be hardened really not Egyptian people know the bad job that they serve God. In fact, are just so he could show Israel Lacey would go to them from bondage when I go Bible says Israel came out of their and headed toward the wilderness that would lead them to the promised land in the Bible says when they got to the edge of the Red Sea.

They had an enemy an obstacle that was intimidated in front of them we would get out of Egypt. When we got AC blocking us so God has him set up to run into a wall. Your faith tested to see whether or not you will trust him. When God let you make good progress. While you stop and say in front of you that seems impossible. And that's what Israel ran into and of course as they will do.

They began to murmur and complain and Moses had to listen all these opinions and I see that you brought to a seat and then God said all right have a mobile set up another element one more time. He hardened Pharaoh's heart and had a change of mind.

You know what will go free labor by millions of people scholars estimate that somewhere between two and 4 million people came out of Egypt under Moses leadership millions of people can let the Vogel and they come charging after him. Always think that was about the movement of the movie. I know I'm big to grow my love.

I know all the sounds everything and shot them in the Bible says that Moses looks to God. That's what I'm trying to get somebody to do is facing a see, that is impossible. I want you to the one who called you, according to his purpose and when you start looking more at God do what's in front of you, me, that's preventing you from getting what God will take you will begin to see business pick up the Bible so they look to God and set stretch out your always give you something to do the things you do have no working power unit but God does love to have us participate will be to say God sent his room in the Bible so let's see parted all water pushed up on either side of the massive passageway Red Sea and wants this God allowed his children to go through the middle of the sea on dry land. Now our super intellectual. I know sometimes we have problems with passages like that.

I really don't understand how it would be metabolically possible for water content the H2O to evaporate in such a way that the people walk through what had been the seabed on dry land that is impossible. Well, God created you want to help you God who created the sea God created it. He can do whatever he wants. Problem God start with the premise God number one number two finite while you start with the premise that God's nature is completely different than our old problem with them working power of God, which is what I would have a problem with is trying to be an atheist have some man or people of faith we understand what we believe to be getting a supernatural God created the heavens and the power to do anything. He somberly chooses to do. That's not Ground Zero. That's where I start to arrive at the conclusion that there is a God. The Bible is clear… Signature so much so that when you looked up at an early universe. When you understand that we are on one planet in our solar system was the ideal environment.

God created for us to live the life he ordained for us to live and that God is in charge universe understand God have to have enough faith to believe that we live in a universe and nobody ordered it that much faith and believe nobody ordered just get will be right back with more of today's destined for victory message from Pastor Paul Sheppard, senior pastor, destiny Christian Fellowship in Fremont, California listen to the broadcast on demand. Pastor Paul.net that's Pastor Paul.net will find a host of great resources in our online store. Will anyone can walk by sight, but it takes real vision to walk by faith. The story of David and Goliath here again is Pastor Paul with the rest of today's message lessons from the battlefield.

Things don't just be calm orally believe in the beginning.

That would Norman Geisler. I don't have enough faith to be an atheist at the book he wrote a few years back. It's an excellent book because it simply lays out the case that when you are person afraid to challenge your intellectual ability. Your problem is you start with a subjective position of faith and I am objective you are not objective. The Bible says it's foolish to believe that when you live in an early universe don't acknowledge that somebody bigger than you and I created it. Problem with the Red Sea parted God let his children because God will do whatever it takes to deliver his people in the Army tried to go through their I told you many times about the first guy in the first chariot out when I see see part in the water is up on walls on either side know that in these to get away from us know that a major anything. All I know is he does want us to catch them running on down there. God bless. Let all go to cell phone call removing baby meet me over here Battersea going down there and they went down there and the Bible said that God does when it's all crazy only got in the middle of the sea and any let the water come in on Pharaoh's army was drowned in the sea that day. Let me tell you something you got to understand that we are called to live not by our site, but by our faith.

And you gotta see your enemies through the eyes of faith. When you look in the eyes of faith. It's a very different view live here in verse 17 and they saw his size and they heard his defying words but by contrast what David did look at how David responded to the exact same stimuli that basil he had the same information at his disposal. We was called by his father to go down and take some supplies some bread to his brothers and so he's taken food down. That means David was too young to be an army when his older brothers in the Army and so death is going down there and take a look at verse 24, 770 early in the morning.

David left the flock with the shepherd loaded up set out as Jesse directed him. He got down there so that they were lined up in battle positions and that they were shouting the warcry some site about everyday shot warcry below more and now this shot warcry and Israel seems drew their lines facing each other. David left his things with the keeper of supplies and he went and saw what Goliath was doing and heard his defiance and look at how David handled this, he said in verse 26 David asked the man standing near him.

What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and remove this disgrace from Israel. When you look at things through the eyes of faith already past cannot win. You know I can win because of God before you can be against me for not killing him anything about reward offered asking about the reward and want to fight and they repeat what Saul had said would be done for the man who kills him. And the Bible says what I love is the second part of verse 26 they went on to say this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should be by the armies of the living God will happen when you walk by faith God perspective this giant is in trouble because he is defined not just regular people messing with God's kids God's can way with it no matter what you are. I'm here to call somebody walk by faith to see your enemies to see pictures to see your bondage is to see your besetting sin to see the attack on your life. See if he's trying to keep you from expressing God's behalf to see things through the eyes they do understand that your God is a man of war. God knows how to deal with an enemy. In fact, you got to understand that in God you already have the victory learn to walk by, rather than by sight. Gotta be like just when Caleb were generations before David's time, when Moses led his people into the wilderness he was trying to get them into the promised land. So we sent some spy so they would go over and tell the people what God's promise land looks like and they came back.

12 spies went over came back with a bad report saw the same things came back with a report of faith but emphasized the Giants and the walled cities to Caleb and Joshua emphasized the fact that the promise land.

All which means God promised. That's why we call it the promised land God promised land. See me God move Giants and wall over there. When he promised it to us to know God's best promise is for your life and walled cities occupying them.

You know why because when God gives you the victory want you to turn around and give him the glory when God gives you that job, he promised you want you to turn around and give him the glory when God blesses your ministry. He wants you to give him the glory about your marriage about your children want you to give him the glory of God settled fiction in your life and delivers you, God healed. He wants you to give the glory so we'll see to it that you have these standing in front of you so that you can look to him and so that you can trust him for victory that can only come from heaven and God says if you will learn to walk by faith and not by sight. Your world will open up new possibilities when you walk by faith, you can smile when other folk are cringing in fear. You can be like Elisha when his servant looked out of so that the Army had surrounded him and the servant was fearful that the same situation smile.

I always imagine a smile working out on his face was so funny.

I see the enemy dead all around us.

Elisha said, Lord, open his eyes, give them a glimpse of what you shown me his eyes eyes he continued to see the sea. Faith is not a denial of reality. Reality all your reality but you hold it in the context yes I am sick but I'm looking for God to be my position. Yes, I am addicted looking at God made my deliverer, I got a major challenge in my home looking for God to give me please feel challenged patient looking to God to bless me and give me supernatural favor. Don't say that no money at the moment I don't have the same time expressing shall supply all my riches and walking by faith is a choice not a feeling.

When you choose to put your faith in God. You will either make you bigger or your giant smaller. Thanks so much for joining us for today's message lessons from the battlefield, Pastor Paul Joyce me now pastor last month. You and I talked a little bit about your mom. Father's Day weekend is now upon us, and I thought it be great if you take a moment to honor your dad. I've heard you talk about him in the past and I just love her listeners to hear your heart about your dad absolutely fines for bringing it up way my dad meant so much to me. I was blessed to be raised by a man who got saved in his teens.

He had a godly mother who raised him and his siblings and she ended up having 10 children on nine of whom survived and she raised them. In short, she had a man who gets saved until he was in his 80s, but she learned how to let her light shine and she raised my dad. She told him later when I was pregnant with you. I laid my hands on my belly and I said, Lord, I want you to make a preacher out of this one, and he was the only preacher of the nine siblings that she had and he preached the gospel faithfully raised his five children in the church along with of course my mom and I love the legacy and I think of him often. He died in 2008 as an 81-year-old man, but he was such a blessing to not only to me but to thousands of people as he shared the gospel and I thank God this month in particular for the legacy of a godly father Pastor Paul to hear you talk about how your father raised you and the church are reminded of Proverbs 22 verse six train up your children in the way they should go and when they are old he will not depart from it.
