Hello and welcome to this Wednesday. Addition of Destin for victory with basketball Shepherd, senior pastor at destiny Christian Fellowship in Fremont California today. Pastor Paul shares his message you want to get married but before he get started. He's jointly from a studio in California will pastor thanks giving is just around the corner time for us to count our blessings and for being honest 20/20 is but a year, but it's tough to see those blessings remind us why it's important to be thankful.

Yeah, I think being thankful is one of the fundamental values that we learn and I learned it as a toddler, and I think most people did you know your parents teach you very early on, especially being a little church. And having folks walk up to me and give me something candy or a nickel or something like that and your parents teach you from the very beginning. Make sure to say thank you and that lesson is one of those bedrock principles that we should build our lives on. So now that we are all grown and living our lives, we need to go back and remember, no one owes you anything and so it's good to be thankful.

Just as a matter of lifestyle, but especially as we think about how good God has been to us.

Even through our trials, even through our difficulties. God has been good going this year a pandemic. God has been faithful and helped us get through some very challenging times and we owe him a lot of think so. I think that these are days when we need to take advantage of this built in holiday of Thanksgiving and to make sure we're grateful to the Lord. In fact, in this month's encouragement letter. I mentioned one of 10 lepers who returned to Jesus.

He healed 10 of them, but only one thought to go back and to worship him and give him thanks.

I think that's the way we are to live our lives like that one leper and make sure God knows how grateful we are and how thankful we are that we have God in the Lord to lean on during a time of pandemic and epidemics right absolutely true. In fact, I one of my favorite re-sentence Scripture passages is where Paul wrote to the church of Thessalonica and he said, rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, it will do that. I think I will be pleased in our lives will be richer because of it.

Thanks for those great words of encouragement Pastor Paul what today's message is straightahead. But first, a quick reminder for your generous donation to Destin for victory would like to send you a book called 30 days to taming, worry and anxiety written by Deborah Smith. The case this book is a great resource to help you discover how to deal with the stress. Life often tries to bring our way. That's 30 days to taming, worry and anxiety. Our gift to you today by request for your generous gift to Destin for victory call 855-339-5500 to give over the phone or visit Pastor Paul.net to make a safe and secure donation online. It's been said that if a man loves a woman soul, he will love one woman, but he loves a woman's face. All the women in the world won't satisfy him today. Single men and women will be encouraged to learn how to love from the inside out. Learn to recognize and admire the internal qualities of a potential spouse. Above all else for a great example of what that looks like basketball Shepherd takes us once again to the story of Ruth and Boaz. So for the book of Galatians is Pastor Paul what today's Destin for victory message so you want to get married when outside and inside you is you know what they look like you are spirit, we will make up the body of the salmon that comes in like a Jack-in-the-Box you can remember the local crowns on whatever something to capture the attention and they look at you teach them the claim and they learned to keep an outcome marrying Jackie not marrying the box you your Marion, you have run into somebody who was beautiful in five minutes with all my my my new can be fine and really at the same time you can parents about how character will choose coming and going back into the real foods will yourself maniac I met with people themselves not to live life with you because it's all about me and so we got to learn that for these reasons, you must learn that this person is notice when you read the book of admire the rings qualities and choose not just her assets shall we say he qualities and her virtues.

Let me show you read chapter 2 chapter 2 verse 11.

Boaz is asked inquired about her outside of her presence. He got a wonderful take on who she was by the foreman of his harvesters. So now he is with her and in verse 10, she thanks him for giving her such favor and what he says in verse 11. In answer to the question why my pounds of favor. He says I've been told all about what you've done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband how you left your father and mother and your homeland, and came to live with the people you did not know before. Notice that he admire he said what you're getting from me because of all of your paper message to your mother-in-law noticed that she could be faithful and committed to somebody else that a person can commit to you already. Commitment by being committed in their family of origin or in their church setting where God give them the opportunity to make a commitment to live a life derived by tells you that you which is the greatest commitment any human being can make to another human being, not commitment life, no reason to believe that they'll do it when single somebody in here the students will make them a house and they show no commitment. They show no commitment to anything of substance in value and yet something is telling you that you want to link their life to them your misguided is what you need to be in a church like this where we will check you all out before you get in day practice re-engagement counseling. We frown on premarital counseling. We practice pre-engagement before you have a laying before you're picking out the invitations and all that stuff and the reception hall before you go down that road before the body has put a ring on anyone's finger in time to come and let somebody when in love with me that one of you.

Talk to you because a lot of people who don't understand the importance of checking out a person's faithfulness in ministry. We can depend on you to be where you will be serving the Lord, are you going to be a committed husband and wife. I noticed her commitment.

I noticed that you're willing to take what I want to call the righteous risk of leaving Moab 60 miles to Bethlehem. She never knew the people she never knew what she says to the people there and she took the risk of leaving her comfort zone and you want to find someone when God is waiting them in the election of their destiny to become more spiritually than I do want to see someone who is willing to go with God. Even if he takes them out of their comfort, who only want to do what is comfortable for them. They only want to do what they've always done they can go with you on God's journey because God will take you to someone familiar places and the person who insist on familiarity. You got the wrong partner Otis is good to see myself.

Not only that, but in chapter 3 we see some other things about chapter 3 now this is after she has come to him at the threshing floor and she has requested that he be kinsman redeemer look every three verse 10 the Lord bless you my daughter Boaz reply. This kindness is greater than that which you shown earlier. Watch this.

You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor, and now my daughter. Don't be afraid I will do all you ask all my townsman know this. You are a woman of noble character.

He admired righteous risk and he admired her no ability to express being a person of noble character. He said and chase me will be right back with more of today's Destin for victory message from Pastor Paul should listen to the broadcast on demand.

Pastor Paul.net that's Pastor Paul.net or listen and download the podcast Apple podcast or wherever you get yours now. Once again, here's Pastor Paul with the rest of today's message so you want to get married and being married. Desperate to get married that sin is not sinful people of destiny. When God is something in your life. You gotta learn to slow down and tell him that he knows where he's taking you and you will have to catch the train coming down the track record your biological and he said I noticed that you have not run after man I love this, whether rich or poor fellows sometime take somebody and they get a job that you think somebody that you can run after younger men rich something for you but you were not God's plan for your life you're looking for a person live life will be 10B when you see self with you and like to see what she will be an asset and liability.

You can count on through thick and thin woman you need in all weather.

Why you need to know whether one can go for whatever season God takes you through and she can hang out with you.

Let me illustrate it. We were going. I was a full-time associate pastor church growing.

I was the heir apparent.

I was the next in line when my dad retired to take over a senior pass to the church that love me. I finally had no respect.

You know, I became a sociopath of the church I grew up in the end of meeting people who knew me all my life. Talk about unimpressed when people have known you all your life. They do not impress easily through every stage and saw me a while to build credibility with them, but I finally got to play with the church understood they respected the anointing of God on my life and they saw God moving and they were anxious for me to stay and to be the next senior pastor at all.

Everything going good like God just when things are set up nice income to go West young man go with this visit in my heart, the Lord put there to grow over the years that I was a sociopath with my dad in the Lord showed me this church that would grow very large, reaching primarily unchurched people I saw thousands of people coming into the kingdom through our ministry and all kind of things I articulated that to my closest friends and prayer partners. What God was saying to me.

I didn't know where this would happen. I just knew it was a God thing. I told my dad years before the Lord is already show me I'm not going to be your successor is going to send me somewhere at some point I don't know where but meanwhile I'm connected to you. I'm committed to you to help you fulfill your vision. You can't operate until you learn to cooperate so I was cooperating and God gave us the signal that it was time to pray about moving and we started playing about a long story short, the Lord, let us out here. 34 people called us and the Lord said that's the call I want to go and so we came across the country chasing this vision of reaching thousands of people.

But I've learned some about God. When God gives your vision will show you and Buddy will show you the journey any so many thousands of folded all the unfaithful didn't say all timeline and I didn't see a process and so we got out here I'm expected to show up. I announce the mill in California. I was here that everyone come and y'all stayed away in droves and nearly as mastering this little church wondering God when you sent me out here to reach.

I'm preaching my best messages and it's a happy coincidence when one person gets a what the world is going on me when I was excited about the vision believe, in part, and my first banquet with about 45 email banquet very excited. I remember driving banquet with an attitude celebrate. Here's the importance of not just having a woman, but having a life of the woman that had come follow me 3000 miles stance is the second half whether God will see that all doubts she was saying all know where we ought to be just God going to do what he said. The woman thousand people with a good salary all and only painted a little bit of money talk like that when I'm driving home from church. I think I missed it. Think I heard from gotta come out here but nobody got how the wind maybe you send me some of the pie. I misheard him second-guessing and she said no, no, right on God with you get mad at the word all the Lord about this one will work out and having a friend cry, job job working and what my days walking that little charge training, and other days I was losing claim and confess and flow from the north of Sotheby's in the be safe.

My days going God's man of faith in God's man in and out and on the season. We only had one beer.

Over to the office and then later in the day go back home and one day we needed groceries for dinner and get the rest the week we had little to five and three just starting school that critical. And so she's home, keeping things together and one day I came home from walking the floor, prayed and cried and went back to the grocery sitting on the counter so well want to call you back over just take me to the store, but we really needed some groceries and want to disturb you so I just went to the store and I knew where to start to get there.

She said I want to get the kids little red wagon which I will bring that call back here not too proud that God is blessing in the common, and we can see how likely whatever will because when you so is all right when you saw when fear is all right to leave when you find your looking beyond just something that is on the pool and pool something that is official looking for and see in Ruth that this is a woman of noble character. She will be a blessing in my life. She will never make me ashamed she will never be a curse. I want to encourage you rather recognize the signs and then know a good thing when you see believe God don't try to outlast your season move with God.

He's trying to bless you.

He's trying to get you to the next.
