Now here's Pastor David. Turn with me to Joe chapter 29 in support continuing our verse five verse chapter by chapter study Joe. Now we were kind of joining Job in the middle of a speech and that's his longest speech, maybe longer speech of the Bible, Job speaks from chapter 26 all the way to 31 consumer jumping in the middle of that and what will do is read through here and make a few comments along the way. The only reason Job is alive here is because God protected and is still protecting so that's kind of the irony just pop and write often and we can look at sale. Job your sincerely you did know that God was protecting you. Well, it usually doesn't help our spiritual growth to figure out what somebody else is supposed to be doing. Do you realize that you won't know until you get to heaven if you know Jesus. When you get to heaven seeing you will see all that you are protected from I think everyone of us will be amazed will see traffic jams that kept us from accidents will see dinners or lunches that went too long and because of that we missed a collision with a drunk driver and now think about that. We live in a fallen world that is, to some degree subject to the enemy when the enemy came and tempted Jesus. He said if you bow down before me. I'll give you everything.

Jesus didn't say what you can't do that. That's not yours to give it one of been a valid temptation if the enemy didn't have it to give so was a valid temptation to the enemy is as the New Testament suggests he's in control of the firmament here there into the power the air prince of this world is called and we see in Job that there's some sort of meeting place that the accuser comes to you.

Try to get permission from God to do certain things and some of this is falls under the Hebrew Scriptures of the old covenant and some of it is eternal truth. I know it got doing he's judging you because at this and God did that to you because of that interesting because we know that God was not at the core of the attack, we read that the first two chapters that the enemy was silliest people that came to Job would calm friends not really. And we actually if you read the entire book.

In the end God rebukes Job's friends.

They're not acting like friends in life you have acquaintances, and then you'll come to a test or trial in the relationship. We tested and at that point what's founded on becomes essential, not where they met how they met when they met was the core. If it's not the love of God and the grace of God there still be problems and I know sometimes when were serving the Lord. People lazy man. I will be here by your side forever. You don't ever lose friends you just find out who your roof is important yet painful sometimes, but it's better didn't know and find out than to get in some sort of critical situation where you're depending on that person and then they let you down like leaning on a sharp stick. It's okay as long as you don't put weight on mommy put weight on that relationship, you begin to get hurt and you'll figure out instructions.

Somehow God took it and made it the best thing that ever happened on this planet about the crucifixion all these amps and demons and whatnot their own.

Indeed, what profit is the strength of their hands to their vigorous parish. They are going from long-standing fleeing late to the world and its desolate waste to pluck Mallow by the bushes and broom treat roots for food. That's is the food of the very very poor.

They break up my path. They provoke my calamity. They have no helper. They come as brawl breakers under the rule in this storm. They roll along. So all these people who thought well of Joe before thinking really poorly of him now, but the real question is does that tell us anything about Joe. No other than that he had a lot. Now he doesn't doesn't reveal anything about people. Yeah, they respected him just because he had money. He's the same guy same person may be a little bit smarter, less definitely poorer for the moment, but they treated him bad. When Job hasn't really changed is just what he hands. What we know they were treating good for what for what they can get getting any to realize that it at certain times. The crowd is wrong. The majority goes along with stuff and we as Christians that's like no not with that. Not with that gay now with that majority. I don't care how many buildings you light up and how many colors I still agree with that. Crowds of the Israelites Won't go back to back is also good in Egypt where they killed the babies and you were slaves. Yeah, we love that just go back being unpopular is not a bad thing as matter fact, Jesus is well unto you, if all people speak well of you just say it. You have that I don't have therefrom, but if you have that problem that we need to realize again were in a fallen world. So when you go on something that's worldly or of this world like Facebook and stuff like that you're going to see a lot of pain but I hate. Lot of unforgiveness and bitterness.
