He's like genius baby and well no I don't I don't think so.

And actually there's a there's a verse and scripted. It makes it absolutely clear and in Luke chapter 29 verse 52 is right after senior Jesus in the temple and he is mean allowing everybody there in the temples parents are looking for him, but verse 52, says Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man is what we have to understand and make God the son, the eternal son of the father. The word became flesh was made flesh took flesh from the womb of the virgin Mary so that he might grow in that flesh in that humanity, if you will in it and I think with that you have cognitive growth. The growth of cognitive abilities and that is being spoken of their in Luke chapter 2 verse 52 so Jesus in and through the incarnation when when when the son of God was born he wasn't this this super baby that kind of a thing. In fact it was really interesting is when Jesus goes back to his hometown in Nazareth.

People in the essentially what what what were they saying who is this guy and we know his family week we we know his siblings. There is there's nothing really special about him. Another was he wasn't you know doing these crazy miracles is as a kid. It wasn't until his his earthly ministry got started, that he began to be revealed in a very clear sense, as is the Messiah, the Savior, the world and so in one sense very ordinary childhood and and upbringing.

Even and I think that the Scripture speaks to answer. Interesting one from Daniel and he says recent collar on your show asked can I as a husband and father and spiritual leader of my family administer the Lord's supper at home.

In short, the answer given was no. You must leave that to ordain pastors. I appreciate your answer but I believe it was not at all well supported by Scripture. I'm an ordained deacon in my church very active in church life and has been deleting my family and the Lord's supper for almost 4 years now. I cannot find any scriptural reference that prohibits this practice or that would discourage it. I believe that anyone with appropriate reverence and understanding should rejoice in their ability to partake of the Lord's supper as often as they are led by the spirit of God to do so.

Interesting question hey Daniel, thank you for following up with us. So just just for those who are listening earlier in the week to the broadcast somebody somebody asked the question can just anybody know administer the Lord's supper whenever you want. Just take kind in communion on your own.

A father in particular to this is that the context of the question at dad wanting to administer the Lord's supper for his family, and I said no.

Ordinarily, the way in which the Lord's supper supposed to be administered by a minister who's been ordained to the ministry of the word and sacrament in the context of the church and and I knew we are going to get some some feedback on this and questions about this because this is something that that might come off as strange in the history of the church. I don't think that this would have been a strange thing, but I think in our context. Specifically, and many of us raisins or broader evangelicalism where where it is that's that's not really the case of who people think about the Lord supper just as it is an opportunity for me to stop and remember Jesus in and to remember his sacrifice for me and if that's the case will then what's the big deal. Why can I just do that wherever well, a couple of things. First and foremost the Lord's supper is a sign and seal of God's gospel promises it's it's the visible word to the people of God. Now there are specific group of people. The officers of the church. In particular, the elders, the church were called to administer the word and sacraments of the church and in the reason that is is because we need to protect those things.

It's like what Paul tells Timothy you know guard the good deposit that's been handed down to you, not just anyone should be entrusted with that the teaching office of the church.

Why, because this is God's holy and sacred word and so and in one sense I think you just bite by implication, it's very clear that not just anyone should be administering Lord supper, and especially in private on because if the Lord supper really is this picture of the unity we have asked the body of Christ. It's something that we do together as a church and this is precisely what the Scripture teaches again. The apostle Paul in first previous chapter 10 verse 16 is a couple blessing that we bless is it not a participation in the blood of Christ, the bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ because there is one bread, we who are many, are one body, for we all partake of the one bread see that the focus there on our unity as the body of Christ wasn't being actualized even more coming together around the table of the Lord and that's what was happening in the early church as people were gathering together with the saints of the body of Christ to to do this this thing that Jesus had told them to do and so so so that there's one line of evidence. Here's here's another thing that I would say is if just anyone could administer the Lord's supper to themselves or to other people. However, they wanted and that would make church discipline virtually impossible.

But it if if just anybody can. Could you just go about the Jesus you know what when he sent out the apostles and establish these these churches, local churches with elders and deacons. There's a process of discipline that Jesus gives to the church and in Matthew chapter 18 he says look that if people continue in sin. Don't treat them as as a as a brother and were there at their excommunicated. If they continue in unrepentant sin and they go through this process of discipline. What will you no longer treat them as a brother.

You no longer commune than they've been excommunicated. But if just anybody can commune themselves will it just makes it bid sort of undermines the structure of the church that the structure that Jesus himself and the apostles Institute incisor. That's another reason why it's really clear to me according to Scripture that, but this isn't just something that anybody could do were called to do this together as a church under the faithful ministry of the word and it's it's a sign of what one arc are communion with Jesus Christ. Specifically, the wrist, receiving his his gospel gifts for us when we eat by faith but also of the unity we have as the body of Christ.

Another was nothing that we do on our own in a closet or or administer kind of often in the park with our friends.

I can thing know this is about the church and of the gifts that Jesus gives to his church in the unity we have together as the church. Now learn that only God can do that to you and that James read the Bible every day just to me are just recently learned at a prayer the other day and I just piled like no.what the Bible that directly to better clarify repetitious prayer, rosary, and a Hail Mary trailer and I held my tongue and I question my faith in what I was saying what I was playing like consider marrying another God part of the crafty melody you know which is what I believe that you don't know where I should now be okay just opt out church and other church a well. I appreciate this question impractical related to prayer. What should prayer look like and I think if we want to just go with what the Scriptures say you don't have examples in the New Testament if of that prayer you know the that the Hail Mary, you do have a gig in the language of of Elizabeth there, but I don't know that we are called effect that there's no indication Scripture that we are called to address the departed saints. Those who have died in the Lord prior to us and to go to them and asked them for prayer. I think that's a later tradition and think that something that we see in the New Testament.

I think if you want to know. You know what, what does it look like for me to pray and how should I present just go straight to the words of Jesus in Matthew chapter 6. In particular, verses five and following. Is there Jesus gives us the words of the Lord's prayer, which I'm sure you know as well, but he also gives a couple of warnings right before he introduces the Lord's prayer. He says to his disciples. Verse seven. When you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your father knows what you need before you ask him pray then like this and then and then he introduces the Lord's prayer as of their Jesus is addressing faithless prayer thinking about the pagan nations and how they would just repeat themselves and you and say the same things over and over and over he announces an incantation, hoping to get you know the gods or or a God to listen to them in and to grant them favor. It was very superstitious and Jesus says don't treat prayer is this superstitious thing to serve going through the motions and and saying these words as if their magic words to to get God to bend his will to yours. No, that's not what prayer is when we pray we go to the Lord in faith and and then as I said, Jesus gives us the kinds of things we should be praying for our father in heaven, hallowed be your name. In other words, is a focus on God and his kingdom, his name being hollowed that is being made holy. Not in that it can be made more holy than than it is because God is God is infinitely holy but in the sense that God's name would be sanctified in our own hearts and in the world using this passion for God's glory right at the outset of the pray your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not to temptation but deliver us from evil say that prayer every day repeat that prayer and when Jesus talks about, you know, not that making vain repetitions is not it's not against rev repetitive prayer that we can repeat the same prayers with faith before the Lord, honestly. And that's a good thing. It's vain repetitions. It's seeking God for the things that he is not called us to seek and forth and so I would just encourage you when you're thinking about prayer to focus on what the Scriptures teach the whole Bible is given to instruct us on how to pray and then you have the specific places. Like in Matthew chapter 6, or even the Psalms that II think provide even deeper instruction or just focused instruction on prayer and I would say that's where you're gonna want to focus your attention, sister, and so God bless you and in in prayer and also in finance. The core is the number here's a voicemail from one of our listeners named Richard about out of money and a note home to the main about Neanderthal and I know there might be some verses in the Bible relate to Neanderthals or drive-through number like no problems early exactly what is our mother and just stick with what was in the Bible look yeah appreciate this question and that there are some people who have tried to make the case that God basically oversaw human evolution that you had these these you know these you know the sort of species that were there were building up to the human race, and they were essentially animals not created in the image of God and that eventually they came a point where God breathed the soul into these creatures and that's when you had Adam and Eve. That kind of thing II don't I don't take that view, I don't think that that view fits with the teaching of Genesis chapter 2.

Specifically, in verse seven we read the Lord God formed the man of the dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living creature of the words it at this point when God breathed into man forming him, creating him from the dust of the ground.

That's when he becomes a living creature.

Another other living creatures in the world that God created the animals and and and whatnot but this is something unique. This is this is that the creation of mandatory where you get Adam and Eve as well. So then where does that put Neanderthals or Adam and Eve Neanderthals.

No, I don't believe that they were Neanderthals. I think that you probably have these creatures.

These these persons why what David obviously right there is there is a lot of questions that people have about Neanderthals but I would say that they are also descendents of the first people that God made Adam and Eve here in Genesis chapter 2 verse seven with similarities and also made in the image of God.

I know that you have not have that done a ton of reading on this, but I know that there there. Some of said you know actually we we sort of have these assumptions about the Neanderthals at their that they're not really you know persons if you will, the just animals when in reality there's there's evidence it's been discovered even even recently of advancement, technological advancement, language, and so on and so forth. The kinds of things it would what I think lead lead one to believe that no these are these are real persons also made in the image of God. Descendents of Adam and Eve as well. Yes. So my question is is it talks about Lucifer being of your financial and was in heaven and when God realized his motives and what he was trying to do 1/3 of the angels along with Lucifer fell from heaven and was cast out of heaven. So my question is, let's say you and I and hundreds of thousands of millions of people go to heaven is your chance that we could be cast out of heaven if if we change or I'm not clear on that. Thank you for that? No, I don't believe that there is a chance that we can be cast out of heaven.

So I think that God gave the angels the choice of the gift that you Adam and Eve there in in in the garden. The choice and at that point you know they were able to get Adam and Eve in the garden.

They were able to sin or able not to sin them. They could've chosen to obey God's law or they could choose to disobey God's law and God gave them freedom of choice and left to the freedom of of their choice. They they sinned against the Lord and and as a result of their sin.

All of us fell with Adam and Eve in sin. Paul talks about this in Romans chapter 5 verses 12 and following is an hour the situation where were we can choose not to sin RRR natures if you will have been corrupted by by sin, we have this propensity even to sin, so we need God's grace and God gives us his grace through his son Jesus we can be regenerated by the grace of the Holy Spirit, born again, but even still, we struggle with sin as believers.

Our hope is that one day sin will finally and fully be done away will win is that that's in the new creation were in the presence of the Lord no longer. I think bound by that by that sin by indwelling sin. And so, so we don't were in the presence of the Lord were in heaven or for the fruit you in the new creation for that matter working to be in the state of have just confirmed righteousness glorification there won't be anymore sin and the end and that sin will never again take us away from God and his presence. And so that's a hope that we have a wonderful hope, frankly, and one which the Scriptures give to us and I think that the image is painted for us at the very end of the Bible and the book of Revelation chapter 21, especially where you have that the picture of the new heavens and the new earth coming down from heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband and God, saying, behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. No more death. Why will there. There's no more sin. It's it's been fully and finally conquered by Jesus in the new creation we have that that great hope no more tears. No more death, no more pain is enough to worry Mark about you know what Boykin could we fall in heaven and and potentially go through the same process all over again. She says this is America mentioned in the Bible. Yeah well no I don't think specifically that America me something to look at these prophecies in places like the book of Ezekiel, and even the book of Revelation in the tribe 60 I think that speaking about us specifically as a nation know now that doesn't mean that the Bible doesn't have a lot to say to the nations of the world including the United States of America today in terms of the what we see in Scripture and calls to repentance calls to faith costed to act and live in in ways that are godly, but if if you're asking me to.

I think that the Bible clearly prophesies about America and in our presidents and so on and so forth. No, I don't think that's the focus of the teaching of the Scriptures evokes the teachings of scriptures is Jesus Christ. God bless.
